Quotes (from this video)
  • Arknova is getting an expansion named Aquarius which is adding in a bunch of new elements to the game but focuses on sea animals that each have to be played in new special enclosures that must be built adjacent to water.
  • My money would be on this not being the last expansion for Arknova a game that has been so very hot for so very long.
  • The next two games in Stefan Feld's and Queen Games' Cities Collection were announced with Vienna being the reimagining of the classic 2014 title Isla.
  • Super Meatball only a couple years ago reprinted a classic game Java by prolific designers and change the name to Cusco.
  • Trick or Treat Studios... have been busy firstly with a semi-cooperative two to four player game The Texas Chainsaw Massacre based on the 1974 movie where we are told to find gas and van keys before Leatherface takes you to the killing room.
  • The latest offering from Eagle Griffin Games designer Petar Asunder and artist Ian O'Toole has been announced coming after games like Lisboa and On Mars is Inventions: Evolution of Ideas releasing sometime next year.
  • Flat Out Games have announced the one to six player puzzly tile placement game Fit to Print by Tiny Towns designer Peter McPherson where you play as editors of local newspapers in Thistleville.
  • 2F Spiel have announced F F T for one to five players from Power Grid designer Friedemann Friese.
  • Did anyone else see the best board game cover of all time? Because I sure did and it's Frieza's other 2022 release Fancy Feathers.
  • eBay acquired TCG Player for $295 million.
  • This speaks to the strength and growth of the hobby and honestly things like this make me very hopeful.
  • eBay for one certainly seem to believe to the tune of almost a third of a billion dollars then the bubble has some room to grow.

Quotes (from this video)
  • get X launcher boxes out of my world
  • Dark Moon is a dice version of the grander Battlestar Galactica game where things are going wrong on this spooky space station and what you need to do is go and do the go to the different places and everyone needs to give resources up in the form of dice to help solve those things however all your dice are behind a secret screen and they have different values on them and you can say oh I've only got negative values I can't help when you're lying you've got great dice you just want everything to fail because you're a traitor
  • betrayal of house on the hill there's also a legacy Edition which I really would love to play I've not actually had a chance to even look at that much what's happening is you're all exploring this house getting stuff trying to get equipment all that type of thing doing things that happen tasks happen and things happen to your characters and all of a sudden there's a haunt one of the characters turns out to be a baddie and then you've all got to kind of get out of the house sometimes the haunt can go very strange sometimes the haunt's over in about six seconds and sometimes it's never over you know but for real wonderful Grand in Halloween night in the trailer house in the hill everyone sat round if you liked some candles get all spooky put some music on that's how I would like to spend my Halloween if I had the chance
  • I love dead of winter I love it it's horror themed in my book it's a zombie game and I've it's uh there's also a hidden traitor type of aspect to the game possibly one time I ruined a friend's Night by playing that game because I was a secret Trader at the very end and we'd all won and then I turned my card over and turned out only I had won he didn't speak to me for the rest of the night he's never let me forget it actually that's why I love dead of winter
