Description

Travelers is a lightweight abstract strategy game for 2 players, designed for ultra-portability. This pocketable game can be played on tiny cafe tables or on the banks of a river!

Players each control four pieces and vie to control the four hexagonal tiles that make up the board.

On your turn, you take one of three actions: Move one of your tokens, rotate one of the hexagonal tiles, or move a tile to match the colors of a face-up domino.

Win by having one of your pieces on all four hexagonal tiles OR by collecting more dominos than your opponent.

Quotes (from this video)
  • This is an economic game that tests players strategy to build and operate a simple supply chain. Each player's goal is to make the most money by producing, selling, and shipping containers.
  • It is a tough nut to crack because each time I play it's like I'm going to try something different and it never pans out the way I expect it to.
  • The game is a close economy. Um, at the start of the game everybody has 20 bucks and that 20 bucks is just transferring between people on buying containers to put into their harbor, paying to pick up those containers to put them into their freight liners.
  • At the end of the game, you remove the container of the same color that you have the most of. If I have four red and the rest are three, the reds are gone.
  • This is one of the best games and I can't stop thinking about it. This is a 10 out of 10 for me.
  • The price of this game is only $39.99.
  • Push your luck is definitely by far my least favorite genre of everything.
  • The game play changes over time as you get cards. So, it's not as strictly like a yachts where the game is the same at the start and at the end.
  • The ones who have the most hazards from these prestige points, then you do not get to count those at all.
