Description
War Galley is a game of naval warfare, which can be built and played using only matches.
Players create their galleys out of matchboxes, and give them orders using order matches. Movement and firing are done simultaneously after orders are revealed.
Enemy ships are attacked by dropping matches on the table, and hits are scored if a match points at the enemy vessel.
War Galley is created by Thomas Løfgren, and released under a Creative Commons License, which makes it free to play and redistribute.

- So, if you're looking at a chance to play up-and-coming games with some of the designers that are designing on them, it's quite an experience.
- You really get some insight into the design process, into how historical board games are created as you're playing them and giving feedback to the designers.
- In this game, you take on the role of companies that are trying to win military contracts uh from the US
