• This is Rich Saunders and welcome to Co-op Gestalt, a place to talk about cooperative games, cooperative game mechanisms, and sometimes solo games.
• This is a hidden gem of mine because I don't see many people talking about it.
• This is a cooperative uh it's not a deduction game. It's a cooperative storybook game with a a detective theme.
• So you might think, 'Oh, this is like a Sherlock game.' No, no, no. This is all about story and the mechanisms move the story forward, but it's not a deduction game.
• It's more about uh living in this world, a cyber post-apocalyptic noir world.
• So, this is one of my favorite games of all time.
• However, I think if you like Arkham Horror Second Edition, you will love LA1.
• It fixes up a lot of the systems and makes it that much better.
• Makes it a little less random, and it makes it a little more directed as you know what you're going towards.
• So, um, I think I'd really give this a try.
• It is time for our top 10 list where we arrange things in order from 10 to one.

• I saw Daniel Radcliffe, who's played Weird Al in the Weird movie, uh, on on Broadway.

• My favorite, one of my favorite originals is called Virus Alert.
• This is a song about deleting spam emails and not getting your computer infected.
• This is this is an absolute delight.
• The first line of the song is put down the chainsaw and listen to me.

• This is my favorite from that.
• And Eric, when you talk about how it just kind of ramps up.
• The song starts out talking about how amazing foil is to hold your food and then progressively it just gets weirder and weirder and weirder.
• So, the original song by Lord, um, that was one that I really enjoyed singing to, but I like the content of this better.
• And so in the style of of DVO, you have the classic Dare to Be Stupid.
• My number seven is also dare to be stupid.
• So, you're saying you don't sing the harmony.
• I got to belt the melody on this one.
• I have to go for the quintessential one that is not only brilliantly constructed, has a just perfect video version, but also taps into that nerdy rage that comes when someone messes up their grammar, and that is word crimes.
• Word Crimes is a brilliant piece of song construction, and the video just has all sorts of Easter eggs and just is perfectly put together.
• So, my favorite dessert of all time is ice cream.
• And so, the song I Love Rocky Road has spoken to me since a very young age.
• And so I thought that Fat was just like I don't know. I I didn't recognize that it was a parody.
• I thought he just did goofy songs.
• And so I thought that it ju I don't know. I just didn't know.
• Britney Spears covered I Love Rock and Roll that I then put it together that these were real songs that real people listen to.

• This is my final selection. I had to pick a parody.

• This is a little small deduction game that I like quite a bit.
• It does give you the feeling of you're hiding and searching for Chucky and he'll just jump out and get you at any moment.
• I think that this game accomplishes that feeling.
• So, for me, the IP and the mechanisms really do match in this one.
• I think they put the extra effort into it.
• The little plastic toy that comes where he's kind of stabbing at you, that's a nice little plus to bring you into the theme.
• I love how he gets more powerful when he jumps out of you.
• Fun. It feels like a jump scare, and I like that.
• So, while the game's a light deduction game, I don't want to oversell it because I like it.
• As for the mechanism and the theme, I think they do match quite a bit.
