Mechanics (from transcript analysis)
- Binks mechanic — Some ingredients trigger placing Binks on a player; that player reveals their hand while Binks is attached, and Binks moves if another Binks card is played
- Binks repositioning — When Binks is played, it can be moved to another player or stay with current holder, affecting play
- Card placement with matching — You must place an ingredient on a pile in the cauldron that matches the color or type of the top card
- deck management — If you must draw but the ingredient deck is empty, the players lose; after rounds, you reorganize ingredients into a new deck
- Left-player turn order — Turns proceed to the left after each action; rounds continue until a stun occurs
- Questioning (information exchange) — On a turn, you may ask if anyone has a specific color or type of ingredient; players answer yes or no without revealing cards
- Spell resolution — Spell cards cause drawing and resolving top spell cards; spells specify steps and can discard cards or alter play
- Stunning via patterns — Rounds end by stunning a witch when the cauldron shows all same type, or all same color, or all colors with one of each type
- Sun track / round end — After a stun, move the Sun token; reaching the top ends the game; spells can bypass effects if named
- Time Track — After a stun, move the Sun token; reaching the top ends the game; spells can bypass effects if named
- Trick tokens — Four trick tokens provide one-use effects (circle of salt, daylight savings, Billy can skip turn, burning rain of death)
- Trick-Taking — Four trick tokens provide one-use effects (circle of salt, daylight savings, Billy can skip turn, burning rain of death)
