- Hey everybody, I'm Tom Vasel. Welcome to Week In Review, where we go past back over the past week and uh we talk about all the different videos we did.
- I reviewed West Story, which I gave a five out of 10 to.
- This is one of those games uh like Space Base uh in which you are rolling dice and then everybody gets something off of the little town they've built in front of themselves.
- It has this one really cool concept, which uh has to do with where you are on the score track around the board. Uh matters it it it denotes and delineates what you may affect on the board, which is neat.
- I reviewed The Dwarves of Alfhelm, which I gave an eight out of 10 to. This is a 1.5 uh version of uh Nidavellir and I like this better.
- Nidavellir I thought was a little had this one great idea mechanically, in which you're using these upgradeable tokens to simultaneously bid on things, but you get better ones, you get to manipulate things. Great.
- I reviewed a couple of new packs for Summoner Wars second edition.
- And one of those two got a 10 out of 10.
- Hey everyone, it's Chris time. This week I took a look at five games.
- Blorp, I give a five. That Blorp was It's a tiling game, kind of like Carcassonne, but you're building your own area. It's a little bit too strange, and the scoring's not fun for the amount of of effort and work.
- Zombie Princess, I give a 6.5. I think it's actually more of a six. I wish I liked this one as a follow-up to Rebel Princess, a trick-taking game wherein you are trying to bid and hit that number of bids, but there's also so many wacky effects I don't think that it blends well and has a convoluted scoring.
- It's fun, I enjoy it. It's not good enough, so a six I said point five. Six. I'm changing it to a six, I'm

Quotes (from this video)
- Recall is our penultimate pick, because this is a deep strategy game from the designers of 2022's massively popular network building game Revive.
- Recall focuses on engine building and exploration as various tribes explore the lands and discover traces of ancient civilizations.
- Then, at three different points during the game, players must choose one of two paths, with the chosen path providing an immediate bonus as well as boosting one of the end-game scoring options.
- just like those players, we have reached our end game with this month's bestest bet, which is the super puzzly two-player maze deduction game Layers.
- Layers is full of both dungeon building and simultaneous dungeon exploration.
- It's a game that tests players to build a dungeon dangerous enough to confuse their competitor, while deftly defying a dungeon of their own.
- If you'd like to find even more great games to discover, well, then continue on to our latest episodes of our High Rollers or Hot Picks and Cool Recommendations videos.
- There are a lots more games that are ready for you to enjoy as your next game night pick.
