Quotes (from this video)
  • So, we played the cardia tournament and I won, which so random.
  • This game is amazing. If you like I mean I almost never play two-player games. If you followed me for a while, you know this, but this game is so fun.
  • It's very quick. It's very I mean, how do you even explain? You're just playing cards up against each other and the highest number of the card that's played. So, you play two cards at the same time. The highest number wins and gets like a token on it. The first person with five tokens wins the game, but the card that doesn't get a token on it, so the lower value card, that card's effect gets activated. And the effects are wild. Very powerful and just can change the game with like one card. So very very fun. Had a blast. Every game we played was so different and we had some really exciting g it was just a great time.
  • So, that's that. This is this is why life is great. Just we we went for this tournament like spontaneously. We were like sure we'll do the tournament. Why not? And then this happens. Wild.
  • The Hive expansion adds more choices of course. So that is definitely you know mindmelting in a good way.
  • And I just love bees. Who doesn't love bees?
  • I really enjoyed just the simple dice chucking game that this is very fun.
  • Um, it was hard though. We struggled. The killer really came for us.
  • Very fun, very very cute, clever tile placement. Really enjoyed that.
  • It's really really fun and the artwork is just incredible. Owen Davy's artwork is just something very unique and stunning. I absolutely love it.
  • It's one of my favorite flip and rights. Um, I even prefer it to flip town, even though, you know, obviously those are both really, really great, but I like the theming a bit more of Flip Voyage because it's like the sea, the nautical theme. I think it's really fun.
  • So, very very curious about the rest of that game. I'm actually so excited to get it.
  • The racism is horrifying. It's so I don't even really know how to describe it because it's not like in yourface ra I mean I don't I mean it is very in-your-face racism because it's very obvious but it is such a commonality almost that makes it even more horrifying because it's just expected and our main character also expects it to a certain degree and it's just so disgusting um and so well written really really fascinating in that aspect as well besides the whole like fantasy element and obviously it's called Babel so there's like a a version of Babel in Oxford England in the early 1800s it's a fascinating fascinating story so far very excited to see where it goes because I can already tell it's probably going to get pretty intense and pretty crazy quite quickly. So, I can't wait.

Quotes (from this video)
  • Honestly, it really is an interesting deep dive that I almost want to do a full video on it because it kind of talks about the nature of how the industry has changed over the years or over how a distributor publisher relationship has changed over what it takes to make a game stand out and be popular and be received and the the unfortunate and fortunate reality. It kind of is both.
  • Crowdfunding to a large extent is both a glorified pre-order, a marketing system, and a way to bring games to life. It's a little bit of everything.
  • I will say I really enjoyed it. I thought they did a great job with the various uh, leverage and options you have to control things.
  • Ironically, my least favorite part of it is the monolith itself.
  • I think Drillers is excellent.
  • I think the Hive expansion is really really well done, but I need to play it more because right now I'm still feeling stifled by whether I can do enough in the game.
  • Oh my gosh, I think this might be my favorite way to play Tend, but that is said after game one.
  • I think it's so good. I think it's a really, really good game. I love the puzzle of it, and I want to put it back on my table now.
  • Get rid of games that you are not sure about. Every once in a while you will need to get one back. Don't worry about it. Is well worth it.
  • I will always pick a game that is accessible and easier to dive into over a game that requires a homework assignment to dive into.

  • I love the artwork and the components for Son of a Stitch, it's really pretty.
  • It's just you trying to be the best seamstress, you are kind of competing against each other but not in a really aggressive way.
