So we're playing a it's in pretty good condition here as you'll see when we get to it. But we're playing a prototype copy of this game on Kickstarter now. Correct. So yes, the uh this game is as I go through the board this game is about night market in Taipei city where they are sto or this is basically the factory I would say where you assign your workers to gain what do you call it? They gain the the food so that you can sell in the night market. So you'll be upgrading your stall. This is your stall. This is my stall. This is Teran stall. You'll be upgrading it and selling food to people.

3:54 And this is amazing because I while we haven't been to Taiwan, we've been to, you know, different food market. I'm always excited. Although the food is usually overpriced, I'm still excited to go and taste all the food little bits and pieces and tell like let's try try this, try that, try that. And we are featuring bubble tea chicken sandwich. What is it again? Chicken chicken steak. Chicken steak. Sorry. There's uh sausages, probably latch of some sort. Yeah. Long. There's some tofu there. And then we've got some signature dishes that will come out as well. Yes. So, how does the game play, Taran? Yes. So, we are at the night market in Taipei City. The game plays over four rounds. These represent the different seasons. So, we've got uh spring, summer, autumn, or fall, and winter. And out here we've got a grid of districts where we can go and get the four basic dishes. And what you'll see here, and we'll sort of explain it as we go through, it's a worker placement puzzle out there. A sort of spatial puzzle where when you place a worker, you'll either get the action or the food that's on that space, but you can also uh gain other foods if you place a certain distance away from one of your existing meeples or create a line of three. So, there's a bit of a placement placement puzzle and a bit of uh two and fro there on trying to prevent your opponent getting the most valuable

5:26 amount of goods. That's that side of the board. Some of these spaces have lanterns and these lanterns, instead of getting goods, you can do a lantern action. And these are these ones printed on our board here. Um major one there is to attract customers because you need customers to customers are where most of our points are going to come from. We need to satisfy our customers by bringing in goods, selling them specific goods at a specific place on our grid. Uh we need to buy more stalls so that we've got enough stalls to sell to all of our customers. And we can also hire chefs and chefs will stay out there on the board and increase the amount of goods we can get there. Yes. So this chef is really cute. Like I'll show you that. That's This is prototype, but it is still already super cute. Chef looking as distinct from the one with no hat. Oh yeah. Hatless. Hatless.

6:24 Okay. Oh, Carrie Carlo. Hello. Um that so that's kind of the bulk of the game. We then put our goods onto our stalls. We'll sell them to our customers. There's an objective to meet each round. Whoever meets that objective gets their first pick of the bonuses, but everyone will get a bonus. Um there are stalls that there are signature stalls, there are basic stalls, a lot of different things here that I think are going to ultimately make more sense for us to explain as we go through the first round. Sure. saying that you said it now. Yes. So, uh, cross clues. Oh, right. Yeah. So, Kate's Kate would be either Melbourne or I think that they the I can't remember. 8:06 So, I prepared that just for this game or maybe for other games. So, yes, Ter, continue. Um, I distracted. Yeah. So, I think I I've said all I will about the rules before we go into it. Um, should I describe the setup? Sure. There we are. Okay. So, we've start we've got our 16 districts. This is the two player setup. We use more of these extra space in a higher player count. And each of us gets a a setup card. So, we've got unique setups. Um, it tells us which starting customer we get and what starting stalls to get. And so Stella starts with this customer who wants tofu and uh we'll take tofu, soup, dumplings, and generic things. Soup dumplings. Oh my gosh, I love them. Bell, something like that.

8:55 So, there's a a general sort of mid-range price that Stella can get from this customer. And it starts with three basic stalls and one signature stall. So if Stella can get four tofu this round, she'll produce a soup dumpling which she can sell to this particular customer. And this customer is only last for two seasons. After that, they'll be gone. Yes. Except you got a bonus to make them permanent customer. Yes. You make them stay around. You can discard them after they're permanent as well. Yeah. Which you will want to do because the points really come from the late season uh the late season customers. That's right. Right. I have a dumplings. My starting customer likes sausages and um the noodle soup. I forget what the name of that one is, but it is I've got a different starting setup here. I've got four basic stalls, so I don't have a stall that makes the noodle soup, but one of mine starts upgraded.

9:56 That's great. Because it starts upgraded, I get a storage delivery tile. I'll put it on your site. get a storage delivery tile. And each of these lets me store one between rounds and generate a second one of that for the next round. So, I'm going to take this one. Generally, a beef beef noodle soup. And Darren Darren here. Yeah. All right. So, I'm going to take this token. If I place a uh chicken steak on it this round, I'll keep it till next round and generate another one, which seems to be the sensible thing to do because in round two, there's an objective for selling the most chicken steaks. So, at least I can get a head start on that. H.

10:41 Now, my customer is very cheap on the basic ingredients. So, a dollar, only a dollar. This is not a highinccome customer. Let's go to your side again. That's the customer's uh card. Yep. And this is true across all of the sausage type customers. They don't pay a lot, but they give you extra uh bonuses for the signature dish. So, I need to the beef dumpling say beef noodle soup. Yeah, just this track here. So, I'm going to get extra steps on this track if I can sell beef noodle soups. So, I have to think about that in my starting turn. And Coral said, "I was watching a review for foodies a few days ago. This look like a would be a good one to match with it if we're doing a cooking themed game night."

Um, I'm going to flip a My two options are to flip one of these stalls to get doesn't change it in the game, but I would get another one of these tiles and a point or I could flip over a signature disc stall and make it even cheaper to produce the um so that means you need to produce this particular uh connected ingredients sausage two rather than three to get the freebies of whatever that is. Oh, was that beef dumpling? Yeah, soup beef dumpling. So, if I do that, I may I may actually may actually do that. The cheaper I can get that, the quicker I can go up on here.
