A water garden extinguishes a roaring wildfire that leaves behind a scorched earth and the seed avatar of the earth rises and consumes the water of a dozen seas. This is a cycle of the elements that never ends. Mystic Vale is a foundation deck game that consists of only 18 cards and three different core games: The Nine Perils, The Sorcerer's Showdown, and The Path Ahead.

Each card has a rank, an element, and is either a creature or a location. The Nine Perils is a solo game. You'll be foreseeing the different perils that lie ahead. You'll be preparing your hand and strategizing by playing one card face up from your hand into an empty space below any peril. If the element of your card outranks the element of the peril, it gets plus one and your aim here is to beat as many perils as you can.

The Sorcerer's Showdown game is like a battle of the elements and The Path Ahead is about predicting what comes next. It's Mystic Vale, I love it.
