Hey, I'm Alex Rical from Board Gameco AP. Hi, I'm Sean.
And I'm Professor Mag. And today we're playing Curiosity Kill the Cat by War Games.
Curiosity Kill the Cat is a semiluffing, semi just try to uh mess over your friends as you pass them things that you don't want or you try to maintain control of things you do want and be the first person to have three souls. This is a sponsored playthrough. Also, this is a prototype. All the rules and components have to change and we'll have a link to the crowdfunding campaign down below. With that said, we are going to go ahead and jump straight into it. The main goal of the game is to get your hands on three souls. We have these souls over here. Uh there's three of them on the various sacrificial altars, and there's a bunch that you get just for being the last person standing at the end of any one round. First person to three souls wins the game. And uh that's that. So, just try not to die and try to mess over your friends. I'm going to go ahead and start off with the uh your turn token over here. And I'm going to I'm going to do a shuffle and deal one more time. So, I'm going to shuffle.
Uh Sean, if you want to go ahead and cut and then we'll just get a nice fresh start on this.
Say from the beginning how ungood I feel about my odds for this.

if you wanted to convince your friends that you're not good at a lying game. The first thing you would do is

So, there's going to be cards. There's going to be life cards, death cards, cat burglar cards, ritual cards, and cat fight cards. So, five categories. It might seem overwhelming at first. You don't need to do like overthink it. It just say five categories. I need to tell someone at this table what car this is. Meg professes she's not a good liar, so we're about to find out. If you flip over the card, it means you are accepting the card for the sake of And that that that's important, by the way. You flip over the token, you're rejecting the card. Flip over the card, you are accepting the card. So don't flip the card and say, "I meant to reject it." That what you do matters.

Uh, basically, it's rock, paper, scissors of one type beats another. Every time you lose, you lose three full lives, which means a player can lose nine lives in a cat fight. Or you can have nothing bad happen if you all play the same card the entire time. So, I will go ahead and I will play Yeah, I think that makes sense.
