HeroQuest First Light
So, I'm not typically an RPG kind of fellow, but this game might be the perfect thing that brings me into RPG style gaming. I'm talking about this one right here, Hero Quest First Light Game System. This is a two to five player game that has dungeon crawling, dice rolling, boss battles, and it only takes 60 minutes to play an entire session.
Oh, and there's a free companion app that you can use that will guide you step by step. And you can additionally use the app to play as the evil sorcerer Zargon, meaning you don't have to have a DM and you and up to three other adventurers can go out and tackle the quests. And for those solo players out there, that means you'll be able to play Hero Quest First Light on your own.
Now, you're probably wondering what else comes inside this box. So, let's go take a look. There is a lot of components in this box, over a hundred. It includes a unique dragon miniature and a dynamic double-sided playerboard. You'll dive into the game using the quest book filled with adventure. It comes with 10 quests that await you, and you can even create your own.
Thanks to this, we were able to dive right into our first session with little to no planning. And even though this one is a standalone game, Hero Quest First Light is fully compatible across all HeroQuest expansions, meaning it's not only perfect for beginners, but it's also great for longtime lovers of the HeroQuest world.
For just under $50, HeroQuest First Light packs a ton of adventure inside of this box. And I can't wait to see what the next Quest has in store. Oh, and speaking of stores, you can find your copy of HeroQuest First Light in Target in the US and other retail stores internationally. So, what are you waiting for?
