Rosalie (A-) Final Grade - 75 Stretch Goals... Why Hide Them?! - Kickstarter Critique Clip
Transcript
Final grade for Rosalie, a rosy game of gardening by Tatsuya Chuo and Higa Bito. Do I want it? Yes, I do. I thought the video was well done. I thought the fact they leaned into the fact this is a heavy, meaty game, gorgeous artwork. They didn't take too long to get to the price. The price was very reasonable, $88 for a 3 to 4 hour Euro style game with all the stretch goals. And I thought that was fine, and I didn't even realize just the amount and of stretch goals that they had hit up to that point. So, I feel like that stretch goals cuz yeah, it says stretch goals right below, but why why don't I put it right there? Also, excellent. But either way, kudos. So, do I want it? Yes. Can you do it? Yes, fantastic track record. In fact, I gave them a third of a point grade bump down cuz I don't feel like they did a great job spotlighting their track record cuz it is a really great track record with very highly rated games that yes, you know, just 100% go get yourself an Awaken Realms style graphic. Every single company, as soon as you get nominated for one award ever from any Joe Schmoe Doe with 500 you know, Instagram followers. You get that little image and you slap it up there and you just keep adding from there because it builds credibility and it's a graphic that you as a company are only going to add to. And during if you haven't done, you just don't put it up there. Right? It's like 100% I think they need to do that cuz like yeah, people people want to support games like this.
I do too. Like and yeah, the Okay. So, can you do it? Yes, not worried about it at all. Looks good. Great customer service. Did a third of a point grade plus third of a point grade bump up for Elaine's great customer service. And how much is it? It feels fine. I actually expected it No, it feels about what I
[sighs and gasps]
I feel like it's decent, right? I feel like I could have felt way better about this pledge because I don't feel like they did a great job selling their add-ons, and I don't feel like they did a great job selling their expansion like right at the jump. But, everything else I just felt like around it was so well done and when we got to it and I was like, "How many are there?" It's just one metal coins, one rose tokens. No, it's 127 or something stupid like roses. Like, don't say one set like that that was 100% um yes. So, can he do it? Yes. How much is it? Yes. Do I want it? Yes. We're cruising to a positive grade. I'm going to go with an A A- minus. Where we going? Main image, I feel like it definitely could be spruced up. Stretch goals totally need to be higher.
That awesome box where you're just trying to give me a box of awesome stuff and all I need to do is sign up for your newsletter or back the game, which I probably was going to do cuz I'm already here and I'm excited for the buzz and we have 6 days left to go so it's only going to get capitalized even though no more stretch goals. I think people are going to be excited. I'm excited to see what they hit the next 6 days. Final grade's an A- minus. I can't go to A. I feel like stretch goals higher, easy change, pop something on this main image. Unlock 75 stretch goals. All stretch goals unlocked. New components, new this, new that. Catch my eyes because right now it's hot. There's hot competition on Kickstarter board games, but we're still going to go with an A- minus. Rosalie, really looking great. I'm excited to check this one out in the future. So, once again, Aqua Gardens highly recommended. Both my kids uh my 10- and my 13-year-old, I think back then they were 11 and eight maybe. They enjoyed it an awful lot, too. So, A- minus. If you enjoyed the content, please be sure to click on that subscribe button down below.
