I'm keen on investing in some properties do you have any good suggestions players need to make it their priority to purchase property between the jail space and the go to jail Space the game has multiple ways of sending players to jail including via chance and Community chess cards the go to jail space on the board or when players break the speeding rule by Rolling a double three times in a row with the dice The increased traffic flow in this region of the board means that players who invest here are more likely to see an income on their property investment no I don't think that would work I'd be living right next door to criminals the way that players move in a game of Monopoly is by Rolling these two dice understanding the mathematical probability and combinations will help players develop a winning strategy there are 36 different possible outcomes when players roll a pair of dice on their turn seven has the highest chance of being rolled with a probability of 6 out of 36 6 and eight are the second most commonly rolled numbers totaling the probabilities of 67 and 8 together gives us a total probability of 16 out of 36 that's about a 44% chance of rolling just those three numbers alone the orange properties are critically important to invest in with two out of the three properties being six and eight spaces away from jail purchasing the red property set is crucial as players are most likely to roll a 678 from the jail space multiple times in a row investing in the light blue properties is really important because players who have to advance to go have a high chance of Landing there I'm going to blow on these

Dice and hopefully roll the 12 so don't have to pay you any more rent come on 12 oh seven developing a deep understanding of the composition of the chance and Community chess card decks is critically important for understanding where the game sends you geographically Around The Bard and thus provides you extra information for considering which properties you should invest in these cards tell you to advance to go and collect $200 these chance cards tell you to go to the nearest utility or railway station these four chance cards direct you to a specific property space on the Monopoly board the most intriguing one is this card here it says go back three spaces there are only three chance spaces on the board the first chance space sends you back to income tax the second chance space sends send you back to community chest space but this chance space here in the red property area sends you back to Vine Street an orange property the one just before free parking so once again the orange property becomes a very highly contested investment area this map is terrible it only goes around in One Direction Trafalga square is exactly 14 spaces from the jail space and as we said before seven is the most commonly rolled number when playing with two dice the phenomena is best observed when following the same player over two turns

there are a multitude of different ways to travel 14 spaces players should never underestimate the power of owning a railway stations as it provides a very solid income stream players should try and own as many Railway stations as possible because it's to their strategic Advantage there are four out of 40 spaces on the monop Bard that are devoted to railway stations that's 10% there are two chance cards that direct players to advance to the nearest railway station and pay double the rental price if someone owns four of the Railway stations that's a rental price of $200 and double that is $400 in their pocket when a player lands on an unowned property they may wish to pass and not buy it for its original advertised price if this occurs the Bank immediately puts up the property for auction starting at any price all players are involved including the player who originally landed on the space depending on the amount of competition this might be a prime opportunity to buy the property at a much cheaper price going once going twice and sold to the mysterious looking Monopoly man with a curly mustache and the top hat sitting in the corner players should try and purchase the colored property that opponent is trying to complete especially if the opponent has already gathered 50% to 2/3 of that property color set this puts plays in a really powerful bargaining

position especially in the late game this also stops the opponent from building any houses or potential hotels on that property when players build houses or hotels on their properties they need to build them evenly over their colored property set it's crucial here that plays build their first house or hotel on the property that charges the most rent or the property that is landed on most frequently houses and hotels are always in short and limited Supply in a game of Monopoly so it's really critical that once players have a particular property color set that they build them all up to four houses each this reduces the amount of houses available in the gam stop for other players reduces unpredictability of unexpected housing developments that your opponents might want to make but it also gives you greater control over the game driving the income to you and forcing all your opponents into bankruptcy much quicker if players feel like they're strapped for cash it's really important not to mortgage any of your really solid properties first mortgaging your property means it disables your rental income for that property space plus when you pay off the mortgage you're going to pay off another 10% interest on top of the mortgage price it's better off to sell off say a hotel or a house for 50% of its original price back to the bank and get it in cash or sell off any of those singular Properties or mortgage them uh especially if they're in a low traffic area make a profit from them

first being sent to the jail space and staying there can be a strategic Advantage especially in the later half of the game staying in jail means that you are avoiding moving around the board and landing on your opponents property spaces and having to Fork out big sums of money it also means that it gives more sign for your opponents to land on your property spaces thus giving you rental

income in some versions of Monopoly the board game the income tax space provides plays with two options pay $200 or 10% of their total worth including cash on hand value of houses or hotels printed values on mortgage properties and printed values on unmortgage properties at first it seems like the first option is the easy way out and just to Fork out $200 but actually if you take the time to calculate 10% of your total worth that's one0 of your earnings you might be pleasantly surprised at how much less you actually have to pay and this can save you a lot of money in the long term you may have monopolized me this time but you'll see I'll be back with a bigger and better Top Hat I mean strategy that's that's it I'm off
