Railroad Tycoon 2 for the PlayStation. Oneh hour review. I'm playing this on my R36s as God intended. Link down below. Says I should read the manual before I start, but luckily they got a not as comprehensive tutorial. So, let's learn that. All right, I get dropped in and now I got to connect the Ohio and Baltimore Railroad. Easy pie. All right, after five minutes of trying to hit buttons and stuff, I don't know what the hell's going on. So, uh, we're going to try a different game mode because this is really Oh, it's tra really complex. Okay, so you got to go to new scenario. Then you got to go down here to tutorial. And now we're in business. So, I'm playing the tutorial and I made a train track, but now I forgot what I was supposed to be doing in the tutorial. And I don't I don't remember I don't remember how to get out to to this to the objective and I'm so confused. I just bought a dairy farm. Now, what I need to do is connect.

God, it's so hard to control. I got to connect my dairy farm to these grain silos. And then this and then they'll they'll start making me money. And then I got to connect to the different It's so hard. And I'm using the D-pad and I'm using the thumb stick. Like, you want to use the D-pad to go faster, but the thumb stick is more control. The objective, by the way, I'm supposed to make $5 million by the end of 1899. Uh, it doesn't really give you much more direction than that. Boom. You can easily adjust it in the game settings. Thank you. That feels Yep. That feels a lot better. After about 20 minutes of poker around the tutorial, I think I got it well enough. I'm ready to start the campaign. And this looks incredibly exciting, I will say. Like, if you like the idea of learning how to master this game, it looks like there's a lot going on. So, I don't have enough money to build anything else. But I almost built a a railroad all the way from Baltimore to Washington like it wanted me to, but I don't know how to make money now. All right, we're going to we're going to restart this one again. We got We got it this time. So, this time I'm going to try and connect Baltimore to Relay to start shipping stuff on that train so I can start to make money and gradually expand. Okay, I see. I already had a train station in Baltimore and I built the second one. I need to build one down here in Relay, but I'm out of cash again. So, we're going to start this over. But, I got to tell you, this this has a lot of potential. Ooh, I just added a small restaurant to my uh to my my train station. I don't know what any of this means or how I make money. I

still I'm so very confused. But if if you really want to spend the time to learn this, after about 45 minutes to an hour, I can say that this looks like it has a lot going on, like different places you could purchase a huge huge massive map for you to build across. And it it looks like it's all here if you want to put in the time to learn how to do it. I also want to mention this has incredibly good reviews from when it was first released on the PlayStation 1. So give this one a a try only if you have a time to invest in watching a video how to play it.
