Pizza Delivery Board Game - Quick How to play. A Kickstarter Preview
do you feel like pizza I sure do well the pizza business is booming and you need to deliver pizzas to make as much profit as possible this is pizza delivery what is it about in this video we'll show you an overview for this game and stay tuned till the end so you can get a feel for how it plays coming up [Music] hi it's Tarek and still out from important diversity here for this overview today we're going to be using a tabletop simulator prototype version of the game to explain the rules and so the rules and artwork that you see here are not final let's get to the table top simulator to be released in 2020 pizza delivery is a pick up and deliver game set in the competitive world of fast food home delivery it was designed by Lars vogner Hansen and published by 2d six games the game plays two to five players in 60 to 90 minutes and is off light to medium complexity in Pizza Delivery players our delivery staff from the best pizzeria in town trying to most efficiently meet home delivery orders and earn the most tips the player who can earn the most money in a night wins the game the concept of the game is very straightforward players will pick up pizzas from the pizzeria travel to the three residential districts and fulfill the orders in exchange for money and tips however gameplay is deeper than this as it involves managing a balance of two resources time and energy going back and forth to the pizzeria over and over costs more time but minimizing the number of trips and carrying more pizzas at once expends more energy fulfilling city orders tends to be more time consuming as you deal with elevators and security in the skyscrapers while suburban deliveries expend more energy as you make your way through the long streets but either way you'll be tipped well for your efforts you could fulfill larger party orders in the park lower time and energy cost but harder to fulfill you can even choose to deliver the wrong pizzas to an order the customer will only tip you half as much but maybe that's better than spending more time and energy to travel elsewhere to make that correct order it's all a balance the game utilizes a time track mechanism who's ever cube is furthest back on the time track takes the next turn this gives players tactical opportunities to manipulate turn order maybe taking several short actions in a row to steal a pizza or an order from another player the key part of the strategy is in purchasing equipment players made by extra hot bags to allow more pizzas to be carried at once or Mabel's to reduce their travel costs bicycles to reduce time scooters to reduce energy or mopeds to even further reduce energy but requiring the player to pay for fuel all equipment has a money cost and the player with the most money will ultimately win so if players need to ensure they're investing sensibly in equipment which will pay back by enabling more deliveries players can even choose to rest during their shift expending time to regain energy but they can never get back their time so need to be careful about the time they expend after all players are out of time players gain a bonus for completed orders which match their personal goal card and the player with the most money wins and that's the overview of Pizza Delivery we hope that you enjoy the video and we hope that it helps you at the time of filming Pizza Delivery is about to be launched on Kickstarter so we'll put a link in the description below when it's live so you can check it out if you enjoy this video please hit the like button and subscribe to us you can do that also by hitting the meeple in the corner and don't forget to hit the bell icon so you know when we have new and exciting videos you can also follow me on instagram for mac what games Jenny and finally if you have any questions comments or feedback please write them in the comment section below until next time
