Tag Team Arthur's Legacy - Fighter Overview

0:00 Hi everyone, my name is Monique. And today, I'll be introducing these six new fighters coming to Tag Team in the Arthur's Legacy Standalone expansion. Tag Team is an auto-battling deck-building game designed by Grisha Germann and Corentin Lebrat, and published by Le Scorpion Masqué, who are helping sponsor this video. And in Tag Team, players combine unique asymmetric fighters and use their strengths in order to knock out the opposing team. Now, Arthur's [clears throat] Legacy, by designers Benoit Terpant and Florian Sirieix, expands the roster with six new fighters, each bringing their own mechanics and play styles to the game. This expansion can be played as a standalone experience or combined with the Tag Team base game, creating up to 153 possible combinations. So, with that, let's take a closer look at each of the new fighters. First, we have Morgan the Enchantress, whose crow's eye gives her the ability to see what card her opponent is adding to their fight deck, though not where. With this knowledge, she can steal their healing ability, immobilize their powers, or even force them to attack their own partner. Next, we have the Green Knight, the Champion's Bane, a high-risk, high-reward fighter whose starting card allows him to regenerate health once per round. However, his maximum health steadily decreases over the course of the game. The lower his max health becomes, the more powerful his attacks are. Perceval the Grail Knight is a solid front-line fighter who grows stronger the more involved he is in battle. The power of his attacks is equal to the number of power cubes he has, plus the number of his cards that have already been played this round,

1:30 making him a fighter who steadily builds momentum as the battle unfolds. Excalibur, the Sword of Destiny, is a powerful support fighter that assists its partner with attacks, healing, and generating power. But when Excalibur's health marker reaches its bottom-most space, it is not knocked out. Instead, the blade breaks, leading to devastating effects for its partner. Next, we have Merlin, the Child of the Ancients, who harnesses the power of his special tree board. Whenever he gains ancient knowledge, he advances along its branching paths, unlocking a string of actions that specialize in healing, blocking, attacking, or dealing direct damage, making him a highly adaptable fighter. And finally, there's the dragon, the fiery beast, a durable fighter protected by regenerating scale tokens that absorb incoming attacks before losing HP. The dragon scales can also help heal his partner and can be spent to increase the power of his attacks, making him a flexible fighter throughout the battle. And those are the six legendary fighters that are featured in the Arthur's Legacy standalone expansion, which can be played on its own or combined with the Tag Team base game as well as any other future expansion releases.
