Hi everyone, Danielle here. I'm doing an unboxing of my Kickstarter fulfillment of Dice Throne Outcasts. Um, I got the Champion Edition. Um, I got the premium sleeves comes with the promo card set and then the Dice Throne Adventures Unchained. So, um, yeah, let's get started. I will put these off to the side and open the uh outcasts first. Um so if you're, you know, not new to the channel, you'll know that dice thrown is probably one of my top games. Um dice rolling is one of my favorite game mechanics. And so this one um was just a no-brainer as with any other dice thrown uh product that comes out.

So, this one was supposed to fulfill closer to um Halloween, but it actually ended up delivering after Thanksgiving for me, but that's okay. I'm not a huge like Halloween themed person anyway, so it didn't really matter when I got it. I know some people were kind of disappointed with the timeline. Um, so we'll be having the necromancer, the ravenous Heatherless Horseman, and Pale Lady werewolf in here. Let's open this up and just appreciate the box here. Just going to open up the the cover which is magnetic. It's going to come off u both sides just like that. You appreciate that art just like that. And then again on the other side it is magnetic. We have these little bars and then we have this kind of comic strip.

Feel free to pause to read it. All right. So that's what we've got. We'll set this off to the side for now and then let's see how we can pull this out. Okay, so we have this kind of protective cover on top which I probably will keep. Need a slot. We have all the cardboard tokens. Um, and then we have some reference uh quick reference uh cards. Let's open it up and just take a closer look. All right.

Okay. So, we get a little preview of what the characters look like with the Sandies, some of the tokens that we'll be seeing. That's a familiar one. That's Bleed. A nice Jacko'Lantern. Then we have the rules of play. Oh, I thought it was a quick reference card, which I thought was going to be interesting if we were able to just hand it out. [snorts] All right. Um, this is version 2.4.3. So, if you've never played before, this is definitely a great place to start. All right. And a quick reference is always great, too.

All right. So, let's look at this one. We have the necromancer. Feel free to pause to take a closer look at this board. Okay, so it's uh ultimate is the necro dancer and that says gain resurrect, inflict decrepify, then deal 10 undefendable damage. You do not have to roll dice for any undead activated this turn. So quite a bit to probably learn for this one. Um we have the sheet here. Oh, two sheets. So one for the undead and then some imagery here and then we have the normal kind of hero sheet that I expect. Um, so it looks like we'll have corpse, unearth, decrepify, and resurrect.

And then the dice are scythe, bones, and soul. Hero setup. Cover your black shroud ability with your unear card. Set your corpse dial to zero. And then on the back, complexity six. So this is probably one I won't start with right off the bat. Um, but definitely looks like an interesting one to play. This must be that corpse style. Yeah. Okay. We have some other cards. We have the unear is a passive and this is going to cover up an ability. Then we have all the dice which I will check to make sure all the sides are expected, but that's what this looks like.

And then we have all the cards of course. Just flip through these.

And then the classics you play dice, these are familiar cards to you. Okay. And then a damage type chart. That's interesting. I haven't seen this card before. Um but this is definitely a good chart to have handy. Um turn order. Looks like they refresh this look as well. Okay, there we have it. Um, these look typical, the combat points and the health dial. So, each character typically has at least these two dials. All right, let's move on.

Okay. So, the next one is Ravenous. All right. So, it has an ultimate called Fantastic Terrors. Activate Nevermore three times. inflict inflict hex six and deal 13 undefendable damage. So never is something that seems to be all over this board in terms of the keyword to activate. So let's uh look at what that means. So Nevermore is uh Ravenous's companion. Nevermore joins the Ravenous in battle as an instrument of chaos. Um when Nevermore is activated, the Ravenous may choose one. Move Nevermore to a chosen player. Absorb vitality.

Okay, so quite a bit is involved with Nevermore. Um, has feather and hex, talon, wing, and raven. Raven eye are the uh dices. And then complexity three.

So, we have the die. I'm sorry, the tracker, I guess, for Nevermore. It's an interesting one. It's a raven, I think. And then we have the combat points and the health dial. We have the dice and we have the cards. So, let's just take a look at the unique cards. We'll go through the basic ones. Cole, Broken Stillness, Stone Beak, Talon Strike, Never More Attack, Midnight Dreary, Nothing More, Beguile 2, Pluck, Raven Sight 2, Murder of Crows 2, Chamber 2, Aviary, Craven 2, Foul Friend 2, Birds of a Feather, Peek 2. Then we have the rest.

Okay, so that's one I'm definitely going to want to try. Um I I I don't always enjoy playing ones with companions, but um this one seems interesting enough. I'll give it a try. I'm actually going to put it this way so the cards don't shift too much. All right. And then now we'll look at the headless horseman.

Okay, so this ultimate is dreadful charge. Gain four dreadful. Deal 14 undefendable damage. Okay, so yeah, you'll see dreadful show up um on this quite a bit as well. Let's read more about it. We have Haunted Head as a companion. It's got Dreadful and Grim Pursuit. Um Axe, Horseshoe, and Scare. uh complexity 4. Let's take a look at all of these cards. You can see all the cards kind of shifted based on how they position the uh car uh container. Uh, Dark Surprise, Rolling Pumpkin, Thundering Hooves, Spirited Reprisal, Unescapable, Cranial Assist, Dancing Pumpkin, Howled Reckoning Too, Spectral Assault 2, Haunted Strike, Ride Down 2, Cursed Gallop, Horrified Too, Spooky. I really like the look of the the pumpkins.

Um, so despair to reap to the reaper and cleave to ghostly charge. So those are the uh cards. We have the dice. Those a closeup of what they look like. Always enjoy those the swirly design. And then we have the combat point tracker and the health tracker. Okay. And we've just got one more hero in here.

Pale lady. All right. So, this one has uh this unique um art card. One side for werewolf, one side for pale lady. And then we have the board itself which is double-sided. So this is the pale lady side. The ultimate is unleash the beast, gain two moonshard. Then flip your hero board and activate the werewolf's ultimate ability. Let's flip it over. There's a werewolf. Unleash the beast, gain moonshard, inflict prey and two bleed. Then deal 13 undefendable damage. At the conclusion of your turn, do not remove one moonshard.

Um, so this one does have a passive. Uh, and yeah, wow, this looks very, very cool. Um, I'm not a huge fan of having to flip your board. Um, but we'll see. I'll definitely give it a try. Okay, so this, uh, hero has a slash, crescent, and full moon faces on the dice. Moonshard, bleed, and prey. Uh, complexity three. This might be one I try first. I kind of uh very interested to see how the flipping works. Take a look at the cards. New moon, etiquette, ravage, quenched, ambush, dark side of the moon, fire thorn, trick of the light, scent of blood, waxing moon, waning moon, petulent, life trade, transformation.

Um, oh, is that it? Okay. And the rest are just the typical cards. We have the combat point tracker and the health tracker and the really pretty looking dice. I like this color. Kind of like this rosy color. Okay, so that was pale lady and uh the werewolf. All

right. And put these back as well. These definitely look like very interesting um heroes. Excited to learn more about how each of them play. uh but they don't seem very beginner friendly in my opinion. Um so not sure how people who haven't played dice feel about it but uh yeah very interesting for veteran I stone players. And we'll put this back around it. Okay. Think that's how it goes. Not the most not my favorite type of box design.

Um, but it works, I guess. All right. And then now let's open up the Adventures Unchained. So, this is most interesting to me as a uh solo player cuz this is an expansion that adds a new boss, new minions, new loot cards, and new game modes to Dice Stone Adventures, which I do have. Um, I just wish Dona Ventures wasn't such a beast to set up. But all right, let's see. How do I open this? Okay. Right. All right. We have unchange rule book.

So, two new game modes include OneShot Adventure and Minion Rush. Uh, provides brand new ways to play Dice Avengers in a short amount of time. There's also a new oneshot loot table to be used in these game modes. That's pretty neat. One shot adventure and then Minion Rush. Cool. All right, let's see what this board looks like. I'm actually surprised it didn't come in a in better packaging. Um, yeah. I'm not sure why they they packaged it this way. We have vault witch. It's ultimate is seal of chains. Gain six chaos. Inflicting tangle wither hex and then steal a health. Oh gosh, that's scary. Um, so this is I guess uh what we might be up against. And then uh the other side is just art.

Okay, vault witch. And then we have a bunch of these uh different pamphlets. So we have um I guess this is for the the vault witch. Um talks about the AI rules. We have vaults. How do you fight the vault witch? We have different locations. It looks like this is for the one shot. We have catacombs. Um, and then the boss on the other side, the void, I guess. Or are they different? Catacombs, void. Yeah, no, they are different because they both have bosses. Okay, so two on each of these. Depths, ghosted forest, the valley of the bones.

and dragon's den. Nice. So, yeah, it's definitely interesting because you're not required to set up those big uh squares or tiles to oneot loot. Okay, let's take a look at some of the cards.

All right. So, it's got this nice flashy uh foiling because these are the loot cards, I think. We'll just quickly go through these if you want to take a look. So, these are technically, I think, supposed to be mixed in with your um uh dice adventure cards, which also have similar looking designs on it to specify that they are cards you'll gain during your adventure.

We have three witch keys. It says they are collected when you successfully complete any scenario. If you have already defeated the vault witch, instead gain five coins or gain five gold or gain one boss loot of the same type. Interesting. Okay.

and we have these I think for the vault witch. Obviously, they need their own types of cards to to play and it's a pretty big deck, but they basically if I if it's anything like Dice Adventures, they will spend CP to upgrade certain things on their board at the beginning of the game. So, they're not going to use all the upgrades. Okay. All right. And then lastly, we have um the cards for the minions. So, this will tell you what they're going to focus on in terms of the role objective when they take their turns against us. And then depending on what they end up rolling, things will happen.

So we have the fallen pharaoh, the ashen king, the bloodseker, swamp dweller, plague bearer, corrupted goal, the butcher, dark spectre, the hermit, bell summoner, carrying golem, iron maiden, and then we have this boss battle, which is vault witch. So vault witch is going to be that boss where you try to defeat in this game. All right. Um, and then lastly, we do have just the sleeves for vault witches cards. Um, but again, yeah, just a little bit surprised about um this this box. I'm trying to see are there going to be any tokens needed for this?

No, it seems like this is stuck. Okay. All right. Um, well that was the unboxing for Unchained. Well, Dice on Adventures Unchained because this is the expansion to the Adventures. Um, I guess I'll have to keep this box. I was hoping there was going to be a better box, but that's okay. Um, and let's see. Guess I'll open the promo card set so you can take a look at what's in here. So, it has four mythic cards, one for each of the the heroes.

Pale Lady, Headless Horseman. You can see the foiling, Ravenous, and Necromancer. And then we have the randomizers, I think, here. So, if you wanted to randomize a little bit, those are the cards you use it for. And we have the promo cards. Skeletal structure, get ahead, fiend or foul, apogee of the moon. All right. Well, that was my unboxing of my Kickstarter backing for Daisone. Um, very excited to start playing again. I've been waiting to receive this and then, um, you know, definitely going to try the oneshots and, uh, expect some videos on on on that. So, if you're not already subscribed, please consider subscribing so that you don't miss out on my future game plays of uh Dice Throne um adventures oneshots. And uh thanks so much for watching. Bye.
