hi I'm John Carlo cabano from Bard to death TV and this is our preview of Kingdom which is on Kickstarter right now check it out in Kingdom each player takes on the role of Gabrielle or bbub fighting to finally end the eternal struggle in the box you'll get a deck of 54 Archangel cards a deck of 54 Fallen Angel cards power stones and cubes for each player red movement cubes for both sides to use and finally a board with both the good side versus the evil side the first player to get to 35 points by infiltrating the opponent's realm wins the here side is set up both sides will place their power stone at zero on their track they also put their cubes on zero on the other tracks each player will now Shuffle their deck and place it on the draw section of the board finally each player draws seven cards and your not ready to claim the kingdom let me explain some of the cards layout the angel cards are the soldiers you will be using to fight your battle and gain victory points the top left is its rank this is how many points you score for having it in the opponent's area the small number under it is the amount of movement points it has under the awesome artwork some cards will have special abilities and finally the attack orientation is used when doing combat between Angels Angelic scripts are like spells and they have have a power cost to pay before playing them the ability is written under its name and these can be played anytime during the game should
you choose you can also decide to discard a script instead to gain its value in power finally the pillar cards are used to help increase the rank of your angels while giving them a bonus Elemental attribute you can only play one pillar per Angel these cards also have a cost to play or can be discarded to gain that much power so now that you know the cards let's look at the board the two gates at opposite ends are your main goals you want to get there before your opponent gets to yours in the center of the board there's the Earth space here you gain power or Draw cards depending on which spot you landed on the first row of empty spaces is where you can summon your angels face down the left track is your score meter and the right track is your power meter you also have two areas for your draw pile and burnt cards now that you know the basic components of kingdom let's take a look at a player's turn first you take movement cubes equal to your power meter minimum of one then you play one Angel Card face down in a starting area on your side of the board you can also play pillar cards during the step then you can flip one of your angels face up it must be an angel that was played Face Down on your previous turns its special ability now takes effect if it has any now with your movement cubes you can spend them to move active Angels on the board if you land on a power area or a draw area you gain power or draw a card and if you land on an enemy Angel a battle begins each area of the Angel's
Compass has an element it can be Earth fire or water fire eats Earth Earth Eats water and water eats fire the infinity symbol eats everything the symbol used in combat will depend on where the player is sitting according to the compass check both the attack and Defender to see which Angel survives if both are the same symbol the angel with the highest rank wins if that is also tied they both get banished from the war pillars are used as Shields only and the attacking player Must Destroy a pillar before being able to kill off an angel once movement and battles are resolved the player can discard to gain its value and power and then draw back to his maximum hand size of four cards to win the game you must enter the opponent's Realms by sending your own Angels through the gate from the three spots adjacent to it when you score an angel increase your points and remove all power you have gained thus far the first player to reach 35 points wins the war if a player no longer has cards in his pile the game ends and the player with the most point wins the artwork is really cool and the game playay is quick and strategic we can't wait to see the final product we hope you enjoyed our priew video and for more information check out black locust gain.com
