Uh we're here to play some Crab Rage. Welcome to the game houses from Osprey Games who are sponsoring this playthrough. Big shouts out to Osprey Games. Yeah, we're like sentient wrestling crustaceians. Why not?
Yes. So, we are going to be engaging in uh battles over three arenas. Uh putting out dice which represent our crabs and trying to muscle them up to have high values to be able to have the highest values in each arena to gain fans. And ultimately, you want to have the most fans to each arena to gain glory and become the ultimate most remembered champion of all time. So, what we're going to do is we're going to show you a three-player play of this today. We'll start with an overview. We're going to get right down to battling. In Crab Rage, players will take to the arena using their crabs to move, muscle up, build alliances, and try to dominate fandom, all in the search of glory. The game will be played over four rounds. In each round, a new action card will be revealed and added to the other actions. Now, it's time to rumble. On turn, the active player can use an action by spending rage. Actions allow you to move a crab into an arena or from one arena to the next. spending rage to muscle up and increase the value of crab dice, weaken opponents, and more. When moving into an arena, you can form an alliance with another player's crabs already present. To do this, group up your crab dice, and now you will use your combined value to determine who is strongest in an arena. Each arena has a billboard attached, and when you move into that arena, you trigger its effect, which might allow you to add fans to the arena, gain rage, or gain muscle. Once per game, each player has a signature move they can use, which will cost two rage and add two fans to an arena on top of doing its devastating effect. If a player cannot afford an action or simply doesn't want to, they can pass. Once all players have passed, it's time for the rumble phase where you compete for fans.
Here, you'll go from arena to arena seeing which independent team or alliance has the most muscle. The winner will place their fans into the arena equal to the total amount of crab dice in that arena. If an alliance wins, they split the amount of fans they add to the arena with odd numbers being broken up by the player who contributed the most muscle to that arena. If there's a tie for winners of the arena, it goes to a rolloff and the winner going to the player who rolls the highest on the rumble dice. After the rumble phase comes the fan phase. Here, players will gain their fan rewards shown on their fan card if they have at least one crab in the indicated arena. This can gain you rage and hardcore fans, which go onto your fan-based card. Lastly, in a round is the rage phase, where players gain four rage in a three-player game. If this causes you to mutate, you must roll one of your crab dice, and their new muscle becomes the new result. Now, it's time for a new round where players will gain access to a new action type, and players will play until four rounds are completed. Now, it's time to score.
Here, players first go arena to arena, secretly deciding to add hardcore fans to that arena if they have fans already there. After these hardcore fans have been added, the player with the most fans at each arena gains glory equal to the player count. The player with the second most fans gains one less glory and the next player one less glory, and so on. After all arenas have been awarded glory, the player with the most glory wins.

Very itchy. I'm not going to lie. Uh, all right. So, we are set up here. We're in round one. The the first variable action we have is scatter. So, if you take this action, whatever arena, you know, you choose has to have one of your crabs in it. The lowest crab or crab, so the lowest muscle, which could be you, have to move
following movement rules and stuff to a different arena. We also have our normal four here. We all start off in different arenas. I have the microphone in there for I'm going to take the first turn off the turnbuckle. All right. So, that's going to be me. Um,
turnbuckle. Yeah, taking your turnbuckle here.
I think let's see. Where do I want to start?

Uh, I'm going to do this. I'm going to I'm going to spend three of my rage. I'm about to go clam.

Uh, so this allows me to to uh change the dice space, my muscle to a five and then move. I'm going to choose this one.
Sounds like so much. And I'm going to move into here
just to go up one.
Uh, and since I'm taking this action for the first time, I get to add a fan to this arena. And the billboard uh, ability of this moving in is getting a muscle. So I'm now muscled up to six. I'm in the control, baby. So I'm in the center of the ring.
Uh, that's going to be my first action.
I'm going to spin.

two [clears throat] moving. So again, this allows you to either move from backstage into an arena or from one arena to another arena. Where are you headed?
I'm coming in, baby.
Oh, we're going for it.

So, you now have the option. I had the option here and I didn't want to take it. You can form an alliance with another player. You can stay independent. That's up to you.
But I do get cuz I was the first one.
You're the first one to do this action. So, you will get to add a fan.
So, I just want let you know that alliances are possible.
Alliances
tenuous they may be
are possible. That's really gonna set the tone here depending on what I do.
Let's see. So, you guys are what's your what's your crew?
So, I'm Road Krill. My can my move is a cannonball. My once per game, I can move all my crabs together from a single arena to another.

I'm the ice ghost coast to coast. I have the avalanche. So, my signature move is for each of my crabs in a single arena, I can force two rival crabs uh that are in that arena to move away. So, I can just basically get out of here.
I see. I am Jurassic Thorax. Uh I have a rampage move that uh for each of my crabs in a single arena, I can build two rage.

All right. So we're all staying independent. So Jimmy and I currently are tied for the strongest. So if the rumble face happened right now, we'd have to roll for it, man.

So, for each arena where you have at least one crab based on the billboard that's here, so we have pressure cooker, you will get bonuses. So to go through it for me, this is pressure cooker. This for me gives me a hardcore fan. So this goes onto uh this actual fan card to be used at the end of the game.
Uh and then I also have uh stuff at mega muscle which gets me two rage.

All righty. Okay. So now we're in the rage phase in a three-player game. That means we gain four rage each. You can also take him off of here. Um, and this is probably going to cause all of us to mutate. I definitely am.

Uh, we are also going to rotate the billboards. So, these will go to here. So, they

We each have 10 a piece. Nick has 11. So, Nick gets six fans. We each get two rage, Jimmy, because we each have two crabs present.

That's where I was last time. Yeah. I was like,
uh over here, I'm all by my lonesome, so I will win. It's only worth one fan, but that is a fan. And down there, uh we have Nick again with 11. Jimmy and I are runners ups. Nick is five fans. I get one uh rage rather. And Jimmy gets two. Beautifully done. All right, our fan phase here. I'm in all three arenas, so I will get three rage and two hardcore fans.

We're playing a three-player game. So, whoever ends up having the most fans will gain three glory. The next highest amount of fans will gain two glory. The last will gain one glory. And the amount of glory you have is the thing that determines the victor. So, we have amassed a handful of hardcore fans. These are going to be allocated. We're shouting out our fans now uh in secret two arenas so we can take a look at who's got what where. And what we're going to do is we're going to start with this arena. We're going to secretly choose how many hardcore fans we want to add, if any. Then we'll do this arena, then this arena, and then we will do the tally.

Well, I really did. Well, yeah, cuz I had that one round like, "Oh, I didn't I didn't get but I got a lot of rage and then kind of like Jim with this last round you were able to. I was like, I have a lot of rage while every and I was specifically like, I'm going to let y'all use your rage
and then that way I'm left with like six and then that therefore I can then kind of do whatever I want. And I did good. And my goal honestly wasn't really to win. I just wanted to come in second a lot cuz I was like, I'll still get two points if I come in second a lot. And so I was like, I think if I win one and then come in second in two, I think I'll be okay. Um, and obviously and I mean really I that's why I was rolling I was like I said I think this is going to be the game or not for me and the fact that I got three on that one and and Mikey didn't I was like oh I was like I think this is going to be the game is this specific role. So
you rolled you rolled strong and and rolled true
and you are the most ragiest crowd I've ever seen.
