1:02 This is a trick taking game with kind of a lot going on.

1:04 Kind of like two, you're working on two tricks at once. Yes.

1:08 You also player game. Yeah, it

1:10 a three-player game. Uh you also have a horde, a kind of card pyramid that you can be playing from your horde or from your hand. Each dragon is going to have uh two colors on it with a total value of 15. So it might be 11 on one side, four. If you play cards that are lower of a of a lead color, you can steal like a little banner and score some instant gems. Or if you win the trick, you gain points equal to the opposite dragon on your thing. There's a lot of ways you can kind of do stuff and and score gems. So, what we're going to do is we're going to show you an overview of how this game is going to work. And we're going to hop right into our three-player play. In Dreadful Dragons, players will be tricking their way to grand fortunes as they weigh their options between playing lower value cards to score gems now or trying to win tricks to score gems a little later. The game will be played over eight tricks, and in a three-player game, each player will be playing two cards to the trick. The lead player will begin by choosing a card to play down to the table. Each card will show two different dragon colors, and their values will always total to 15.

2:01 Each color on the lead card sets the lead suits, and all players must play cards that match at least one of the lead cards colors available. When playing a card, check to see if you played a lower value of one of the lead suits. For example, if the lead card showed a seven of black and a nade of blue, and my card had a lower value black dragon, I would take the crest showing that dragon and immediately score gems equal to the amount of crest I currently hold. If another player later plays a lower black than I have, they would steal the crest from me and earn gems. If you can't play a card that matches either lead color, you can play any card from your hand and you choose a crest that matches one of the colors you played, and you'll again score gems. After each player has played one card to the trick, everyone plays a second card, stealing and scoring crests as normal. After all cards have been played, it's time to see who has the highest value of the lead colors. First, look at the top of the lead card. The player with the highest value card showing that color wins and becomes the new lead player.

2:49 They then score points equal to the value of the other half of the winning card. So, in this example, if I won with a 10 of black, I would gain five gems as that's the value on the other dragon on my card. Now, sort out the winner for the other color shown on the lead card in the same way. All played cards are then discarded and a new trick begins. Players will have cards in their hand as well as a card pyramid known as their horde. And you can freely play cards from either area. And after eight tricks, players count up their gems, and the player with the most gems wins.

We don't want to win too much of a difference. It's fine.
