Abyss Echo: The Forbidden Rite - Secrets Hidden in These Pages
Oh, hello graduates. It's Stella from Mup University and this is Stella's short and sweet preview for Abyss Echo, the forbidden brides from Tin Universe. [Applause] tragedy. What happened at Mskatonic University 50 years ago, it was all real. The students, professors, buildings, my friends, and even my idiot exboyfriend.
Nobody knows exactly what really happened, but I felt the darkness, the lost soul. And now this strange package has arrived. an invitation through all the time and space. How can I refuse a chance to finally learn the truth? Maybe even fix the tragedy. Sanity. When the dice are roll and the truth unfolds, it's sanity.
When the whisper grow and your mind lets go, you falling deep and your f spins all the love and trouble you in. [Music] This narrative game is for one to six brave souls with mechanics such as choose your own adventure, narrative, puzzle, and dice rolling. The game is of light complexity. Abyss Echo the Forbidden Ride is an interactive Lovecraftian story book that branches into multiple mysterious parts.
You'll immerse yourself in the tale, sometimes making small decisions, other times rolling dice to leave your fate in the hands of madness or luck. Your goal is to enjoy the ride, uncover various endings, or stop whenever you feel you've reached the best and most satisfying ending, and preferably maintain your sanity.
If your sanity hits zero, it's game over. You go insane and your journey ends in crushing madness. But don't worry, you can always restart and maybe avoid making the same terrible decisions again. Start by assembling the curious package complete with cryptic symbols and whisper you weren't supposed to hear.
Might want to get your ears checked if it starts happening. Read the mysterious letter and set the story into your echo shell. You'll roll the dice to determine your starting sanity points and also have this helpful coin to let you either undo a decision in the story or gain more sanity depending on what you flip.
And you're ready to go back to the past and solve this mystery. Wait, what was I just saying? Hey, what's that you're reading? It's called the forbidden right. It says here, "Do not open." Ooh, fascinating. So, of course, you naturally opened it immediately. Of course, curiosity never harm anyone. Tell that to every cat ever.
Unwrapping it reveals a story. like I had the enrollment papers for Mscatonic University in my hands. Filling out my name on an official looking form that felt almost The morning fork at Mscatonic is thick, thick enough to feel like something that doesn't belong in reality. The clock tower stands silent.
A light breeze rustle through the treetops carrying a faint whispering sound. Street lights cast a warm soft glow on the path carpeted with fallen leaves. Oh, a fork in the path. A choice. Should I get my student ID now or wait until tomorrow? Go to the corresponding page for your choice. And oh, what's this?
Ah, lose true sanity. Oh well, it's tragedy. If your sanity drops below a certain amount, use the neuro veil on the pages. You've gone slightly insane. Things get a little blurry for you. Oh, I found an item. Collect it. Keep it safely in your folders magnetic clip. This is part of the story you can touch and it might be vital to solving a puzzle.
Also, collect the smaller version of the item. Put it as the marking of your progress on the trophies of fate. And what's this? A sealed file. We can't open it yet. Guess we'll need something to unlock it later. Plus, there's a handy whiteboard with magnetic backing. Part of an expansion set, perfect for scribbling your insane theories and deductions.
Did you hear that? He what? Remember, the choice may or may not matter and we could end up with salvation, destruction, or even ascension. Ascension? You mean like becoming immortal? Can I choose my immortal name? I want to be immortal Steve. Hey, hey, stop daydreaming. Knowing our luck, we'll probably see a squidfaced evil overlord instead.
Abyss Echo, the Forbidden Ride plunges you into a narrative layered with puzzles, secrets, and cosmic horrors. Your decisions and die rolls will shape your journey through the Forbidden Res. There are not a lot of rules you need to learn at the start. Just go start reading and immerse yourself. Each chapter introduces fresh twists, more complex choices, and more items you discover.
What you see in this video is the prototype version. Things will be better and more in the final version.
