Transcript 1:23:21

Rolling on three, two, one, and let's start. Hi everybody, I'm Silvitz and welcome to our stream of Panzer Core 2. Now, a couple background things before we jump in and get started. This is part of Slytherin Software's 25th anniversary celebration. And so, they're kind of a sponsor for this video. And as of such, we're going to be giving away a lot of

uh giving away not a lot of giving away a handful of keys to some of their games. They're going to be random keys to random games. So, I don't know what you're going to get. If you've already got it, you can give it to someone else. But there's some good games in there. I know. And I did want to stream Panza Core 2 because it's a game that I've uh played a lot of the original Panza Core of and played a fair amount of Panza Core 2, but I haven't played for a while. And there's a new DLC out, which is their Ghost Division DLC. And I think we're going to do this a little bit of kind of audience participation as to jumping in and helping me make some of the bigger decisions there. And hi to everybody in chat. Hycat, TK, Parker, NZ, Scott Williams, Mic, thanks for joining tonight. Let's jump right in though and get started with this. This is going to be So I'm click here on um Ghost Division. Get this going. We're going to start a new game. Let's start a campaign and we're going to pick Ghost Division. Now, I have a sense that this DLC is fairly challenging. It's designed for probably advanced players or players that are more advanced than I am.

Nevertheless, I'm going to pick the upgraded here to the middle difficulty instead of the default lower difficulty. And let's jump in now and we're going to play Legends Are Born. Legends are not born. Not born, they are made. And this is definitely I'm not born as a legend at this game. So, we'll see how this goes. Let's proceed. Okay, so we're going to load in here now. This is going to load us in the first game, the first scenario if you would of this campaign. And the first decision that we have is more of a campaign level decision. So, it's how do you want to get different kinds of options for campaigns, but I'm going to pick um the one here. There's a No, we don't want infantry general. Deep recon. There's one that gets you more research, more experience here as you go through, but I don't see Here we go.

Battle Academy. So, we get 25% more experience if we were to continue on. We're just going to accept that one and go in. And so, that gives us as we're getting this, if we could keep going on, we would get 25% more experience in the in the game here. I do have a question for chat for everybody in chat. Actually, I'm curious before we jump in how familiar people are with the game, like not at all or I know the game fairly well, just to give an idea on how much explaining I should do about what we're seeing as we go through things because I'm happy to do this at whatever level we need. So, I will wait for that here and I as I'm talking as we're waiting for those answers in the chat, I'll kind of just give an outline of what this DLC is about and what the game's about. So, Ghost Division is a nine scenario campaign where you take the seventh Panzer Division, German Panzer Division, and lead them through some of their key historical battles that they had in World War II. And so, it basically is taking the story of this division as it fights its way through World War II. And it's going to start out, this first scenario is in Poland.

Now, Poland is basically uh easy mode in most of the Panzer Core 2 scenarios, but just to test out the context of this, I went in and I played part of the first scenario. It's 30 turns and I played about four or five turns this afternoon and I got my butt kicked. So, I think the theme of this DLC, it's for more advanced players. So, I suspect this may end poorly. So, if this is a tutorial looking for strategy tips, u then this is not the way to go through this. And I'm looking at chat here. Thanks. Everybody says, "Not at all. I know nothing. I know very little. I know next to nothing. Very little." Okay, good. So, I will explain more about the game as we go through this. But the first thing that we have here as we jump into this particular battle, it's giving us an overview of what the battle is about. And this is a little bit of background on the Seventh Panzer Division. And I will hop over that because now we're going to go into the briefing of the battle here. And this is probably worth reading because it's going to help us to structure some of the decisions that we'll be making as we go through tonight. So Guten Morgan her ost off officer is oifer officer is well rested and ready for action. I certainly hope so because other elements of the 10th army are already ahead of us and we have an important task to accomplish before we can even begin to catch up to them. Let us begin. So, they're going to give us a briefing now that's going to set our objectives. And this is somewhat of an operational level war game with a tactical flare to it. We're going to have tanks and artillery, uh, ground

troops moving through, trying to take at the city level. So, definitely an operational flare to it with a little bit of kind of tactical look to it. Okay. So, now let's see what they're going to teach us about our objectives here. So, our immediate focus is on the capture of the transport hub of Lelo. But to reach our target, you will need to get our forces across the Warta River. So, we got to get here to this city and get across the river to get there. As I mentioned, the first and forth fourth Panzer Division have already been through this region on on their drive to Warsaw, and they've sent back valuable intelligence for us to consider. So, we're going to get some information on what we can do here. While our Polish enemies have managed to destroy a couple of crossings on the Wartter River here and there, those defending forces have already been cleared out by our leading divisions, it should be a trivial task to bring up some bridge engineers to enable effortless crossings at these points.

Okay, so they're giving us a some guidance here saying we could bring some bridges up here and pour across this way, which may be something that we want to consider. Alternatively, so this is the other option we could take here. you can direct our men to seize intact crossings over the Warta River right near this Mizcow town. So our first choice, the larger choice that we'll have is do we want to try to race for this bridge, get across the ridge bridge and attack the town or do we want to build some bridges and go across the wart that way. Now these locations have been bypassed by our vanguard, so expect enemy encounters. But the more of these Polish forces we mop up, the more we diminish the enemy's ability to resist our invasion and the better it will reflect on our outfit. So this is a kind of a side quest if you would if we want to try to slide over to take this town.

And I'll I'll talk a little bit about what I did this afternoon before we start it up here. Before you begin, there is one more somewhat unofficial request. I'll allow Frowline Schultz Schultz to explain. She's part of Lenny Revto's war correspondents crew. Okay, so her obst war correspondent, we're here to take photographs and interview Germany's best. We're documenting the war to help make articles for German newspapers and to capture footage for the creation of training films for our propaganda movie making. The story of our panzers already racing towards the Polish capital is just what we're looking for. And we've asked to speak of some of those men to some of those men. I was told we could possibly interview them if we wait here where a column of vehicles are due to return for repairs. So, this is another side quest if you would. We have some German units that are on the other side of the Polish lines. We can see two of them up here.

We want to get these units safely back to our lines. So, as we are going forward trying to attack, we also have to consider that we've got to get these forces back across our lines. So the question is how do we do that? And I know there's other units in here too. Victory objective is capture Lelo. And we are done with our briefing. So that's our big objectives. We want to capture Lelo. We want to get these forces that are trapped. And we've got some more of them in the middle here. These German forces have taken Zaryark here. They're trapped as well. So the question is, how are we going to try to get these units back home and get them over here down here to this refit area? Do we build bridges or do we race for the bridge here across the city and try to go that way? So those are our choices. Let's put it and see what we think. Let's make it somewhat of a group decision here. I will say to get the general context of this, I played four or five turns this afternoon and I split my forces up. I sent some of them over on the bridges with engineers this way. And I sent another contingent to try to cross the bridge here and attack the city. Bridge attacks across city didn't work. We got all bottled up here. And we made pretty good progress this way. But then everything got tangled up here and it was a big mess. So, we weren't doing very well. But I'll leave it to you. Do we get do we build some bridge crossings to go across the wart to here or do we want to try to race to go this way or shall we split up again? I'll give

people some time kind of talk about that as I'll go on to the next stage. So, drop some ideas in chat as to what you think we should do there. By the way, this is a 30 turn scenario and I'm not sure we'll go about a little bit over an hour I think tonight. We'll give away some games as we go along. So, I'll probably give away our first game in about 10 minutes or so. I'm not sure we'll get through it all because it probably more than two hours to play the whole thing, but we should get well into that. Scott Williams says, "Let's build." Parker NZ says get the engineers busy. Trick says engineer crossings. Thomas Holly outnumbered 3 to1 says race to Mizcow. So let's uh give people a couple more minutes to to voice their opinions here and we'll go that way. Now there's one thing also that I want to talk a little bit about since most people said they aren't familiar with this game. Um one of the coolest things about these series of games is that each DLC and actually the DLC's that are part of the main campaign are all linked together. So, this is a nine scenario campaign. And as you're fighting with these units, you're going to have these core units that are going to carry over to the next campaign. So, you're giving them experience, leveling them up. They get special skills and heroes get attached to them, and you really get to know the units that you've got here. We can actually give them names, too. So, we might be able to do that a little bit as we go through. So, you start to get really attached to this unit. So, there's an entire role playing game element to this. And then when you lose one of your most beloved units, it's just catastrophic. Now, the other thing that we're going to do before we start here, the units on the left hand side that we see in this lefth hand bar on

the screen are the units that are already deployed. And most of these are our core units. A core unit. I'm just going to zoom in here on this um 50. What is this artillery piece that we've got here? We can see this little carrot, the gold carrot above the 10. The 10 represents the rough strength of the unit and the carrot that's above it means that it's a core unit. So this is a unit that will carry over from scenario to scenario that you take with you in different places. So we try we definitely don't want to try to lose those. Now to be rather callous these units over here we see the 12 the 12 these tank units and this uh recon card do not have carrots on it. They are not our core units. So, those are if we lose them, we kind we lose them. Okay, it's not that big of a deal. Although, we do want to try to get that side quest objective. Now, up at the very top, the other thing is that you can bring units in and out of your team for scenarios.

We have uh 50 core slots at the top, and we're using 43 of them. So, and we have 5,000 prestige points. And prestige points are basically your experience and your currency. you spend experience to upgrade units and to buy reinforcements during the battle and to get new ones at the start. And over here, I'm going to click on this purchase units element because we have seven extra slots that we can fill. Now, we don't have any aircraft at all. So, I think we're going to need aircraft for this. And we're going to pick a fighter here, BF 109. It costs 110 experience point, which is up the cost on the top left. And then it's going to take three of our core slots. So, we'll burn up three slots. I'm going to just purchase this. And then it will ask us where we want to put it. We're going to put it on our forward airfield here. Let's do that again. We have four more slots. I think we should buy a stooka because we want to blow stuff up from the air. So, we will purchase the stoka and we'll put that here, too. So, we've got a stuca and a fighter bomber.

Now, we have one slot left. And the one thing that I want to do is to buy these brooken pioneer. They're bridge pioneers, the ones that we were talking about because it looks like you looks like we've got more people to say go engineers lead the way than we had say to go to the city. So we're going to try to go across the bridges here. And to do that, these are our key forces. We're going to have this bridge engineer. We're going to put them up here. We're going to trust our intelligence that says this spot behind the river is empty. They're going to run up. They're going to build a bridge and we're going to race our units across the bridge. So, that's our rough start there. Now, we've got some points here. Invictus says, "Whatever you decide, keep your artillery close. You can't take positions without them." Yes, I should say I've played Panzer Core a ton, and I've played Panzer Core 2 a fair amount. I'm just starting now actually to get into Panzer Core 2 a lot, and you do need combined arms like hit him from the air, hit him from the with artillery. Uh just good tactical and good operational level decisions will get you far. If you make operational level mistakes, you will learn lose here. Okay, so we've got our engineers, we've got some aircraft, we've got our 50 core slots are full, and we've still got 4,650 prestige points left. So, we got a lot of money to get reinforcements, and we can take some casualties with that. Everything is deployed. I believe we are all done with our deployment and we're going to end it unless there's anything in the chat.

Parker Enzy says, "Use the Vanguard to cause a distraction. Maybe take the bridge by city. Take the bridge by the the city. Yeah, maybe it Oh, I can create polls, too. Yes, that's a good idea, too. All right. I am, by the way, uh just a quick aside, this is the second time I've streamed, so by nature, I create more static content. So, if you haven't seen much on the channel, this is a little bit of a new experience to me, so please be gentle as I kind of find my way around this. We're going to end our deployment, though. Turn one of 30. Okay, we are ready to go. Let's play this turn, and then we'll we'll give away our first Slytherin game at the end of this turn. Okay, so we go up first and basically if we look in here, we can the the images of the units give you a sense for what types of units these are. Um, we've got these recon units and what it's going to show with these dots are where we can move the recon units. Recon units are nice because you can move them and then if they haven't used their entire movement allowance, they can go again. The other thing that's nice we can see here just to be aware of the Polish flags are Polish controlled towns and then the the fog of war is the lighter area delineated by the darker area. So we can't see there could very well be Polish units in these darker areas that we just can't see yet. But we did get intel that this is a wide open area and I think we will probably trust this. We can see that this Polish held city is open at the moment. Let's get our bridge pioneers up here. And we can

actually see that this is empty because it's in our line of sight. We're going to get our bridge pioneers up here. And all we have to do is move them there. And now we've got a bridge, which is good because now we can take our recon unit and we can have them flood across. Let's have them take this city first. Aha. Okay. So, the fog of war has dissipated a little bit. And we can see we've got this Polish aircraft up here in this town, which is good. Let's push our recon unit another space. And this actually looking like it is wide open here. So, we've got a pretty good pathway to get to the east here. That's what I assume would be the east. Let's then with that, let's take advantage of that. Let's take our BF 109, bring it up here, and we will uh move next to this aircraft. Combat is mostly adjacent stuff, although artillery has a range to it. And let's take a look at what we see here. If we hover over this Polish plane for people who aren't familiar with the game, we can see that we have a strength basically a strength value of 10. They have a strength value of five. So, it's a half strength air unit. The number in gray on the left is how many casualties they will have. The number in the right, how many casualties we will have. That's the German casualties. The gold represents the Polish casualties. Now, it doesn't always turn out this way.

Things can go unpredictable and you can get results that vary quite a bit from the predicted results. But for the most part, we would expect to lose one strength point and we expect this Polish unit to lose five. If we get lucky, we could get five and shoot it down. First combat. Here we go. Let's draw blood. Okay. And that went exactly as predicted. We fell down to nine and they went down to one. So, we starting to whittle down the Polish aircraft here. But now we want to start to pour forward here and race across these bridges. Let's send our armor up here. We can push forward quite a way. Can we make it to that city? We cannot. Let's go this way. We're going to lead with our armor. Get them going across here. Get this armor across here. We want to make sure we take this Polish town, too, and don't leave it behind us.

We also I think we have to be a little bit careful of this bridge. We could get counterattacked from the side from Polish units. So, we may want to divert something up here just so the the AI can be very crafty in this game and can come in behind you and take over. So, um we have to be a little bit careful there. What I think we can do in a moment too is we can name a couple of units here as well. So, but let's start pouring stuff across. We are going to need to get everything going here. Let's get our tanks and send this tank into the city. It's going to be one long stream of forces here. Let's get our infantry. Now, infantry and a truck is a little bit vulnerable, so we want to make sure they can't get attacked, but I think we're okay.

A little bit risky to have them close to the front. That makes me a little bit nervous. Oh, actually, look at this. Can we get that up there? No, we can't. It's an anti- This is an anti-aircraft unit. And this red zone, the dotted zone, is the aircraft it can shoot at. So that would be handy to have that deployed here. But we'll push them up here. We got a traffic jam already. It's like the Battle of the Bulge, huh? Artillery falls in behind here. H. This is being a little bit passive. Maybe we probably could be more aggressive, but there. And let's just for kicks, let's send our infantry up here to take this town. We'll send one infantry unit over here to try to get this bridge and just keep the Polish from coming back across it. And let's keep going. We got a big traffic jam here. This unit, infantry unit, could get to the front, but I want to be a little bit leery. The police tend to have fast acting cavalry, and if we get our truck up here, they will absolutely demolish it. So, let's have them hike for now. It's another anti-aircraft unit. We'll push them closer. We're just going to send We probably should have brought two bridge units, but we're learning.

Go up here with infantry. This looks This is a sturm panzer. Is this looks like a big artillery unit. I'm not familiar with that one. Maybe somebody knows what those are. Parker Pira NZ says, "Send a scout to check out the other bridge then." Yeah, I think that's a good idea. That's a great idea. Let's do that. Give me just a second here to move these units up. And this is an anti-tank gun. Okay, we've got everybody over the bridge. We got everyone going over one bridge. But that's okay. Let's send this scout up here. Oh, here's the Polish cavalry. Now, if we attack, we're going to get two to five. Let's do it. Let's attack these horses up here. They're in our backyard here. Ah, nice. Oh, they got three of ours and we got five of theirs. So, that was a little bit painful. And we could fall back. Let's fall back and hold this town and stay there because a recon unit can move multiple times. So, we whittle down the cavalry, but we did take suffered some casualties there. Cavalry makes me nervous in our back door here.

Okay, I think Oh, the other thing we want to do, we want to start getting these units back west. And the question is, how can we do that? Now, notice here, this unit's on a hill and it's dug in. So, if we attack there, we're going to get smashed. But, we got to break through this infantry somehow. And this looks like a line of defenses that we're not going to be able to go across. And so these units we've got to rescue. Let's keep them together and start them moving backwards. We're not going to attack that unit. That's too many casualties. The recon come this way. Go any further? No. Kind of trapped. So we're going to have to wiggle our way through these infantry units here somehow. Oh, this is actually a good attack down here. Come down here.

One against six against this Polish anti-aircraft unit. Let's make it hurt. Nice. Heavy casualties. Good, good, good. And then we can come back over here. Slide back around here. Okay, so those units are doing pretty well. Now we have to see if we can do the same thing with these units here. This is a long hall for these guys. The other question would be maybe the strategy is to leave them up here and see if we can have them hang on for a while. But let's just keep going while the going's good here. Right down this railroad. Now the art tank can't move anymore. The recon can keep going. I am sure Lelo is going to be occupied. Yeah, they got a lot of infantry there. And that's the end of our recon units move. So we have to see if we can sneak these guys through the lines, too. Maybe we can have them cut up here to Zarky and join these other forces. We'll see how that goes. All right, so let's see.

How are we doing in chat? Does Slytherin have a Pacific theater game? No, they do not have Pacific theater. Most of their the content for Panzer Core 2 is actually um Axis based. So Panzer Core, the original game had allies and Axis forces. So you could play the Allied campaign, but there is a Battle of Bulge you can play from the Allied side and there's a desert DLC you can play from the Allied side as well as the German side, but everything else is playing from the Axis side at this point. Although they tend to keep coming out with it's still an active game in development, 5 years old. We saw the long list of DLC, so they keep making things. Okay. Any other suggestions before we wrap up? Turn one. Trick says just know the game's covering everything basically. Yes. Okay. So, let's just double check. Actually, I think we've moved everything. There is a way you can check every unit to see if it's moved, but that will be uh somewhat slow and tedious. And so, for a live stream, we'll just skip that over. Oh, yeah.

Sorry. Sorry. One thing. We have our stoka. Where can it go? Now, the range of the stuca here doesn't look like it leaves us anything to bomb. What we're gonna want to do at some point is to rebase this, to move it up some. And so down here on this lefthand side, there's a rebase aircraft. And let's see if there's any bases that we've got available now. No, we don't own any other bases. Oh, up here. We Oh, that's Polish. Can't land it there. So, we'll uh we're not going to do that. And that's the end. So, we will Nothing to hit for our stuca. We'll end our turn here. Here comes the Polish aircraft. We'll watch them hit us now. Hit our recon. Our recon's taking a beaten up there. They are hitting our lead tanks, whittling them down here, trying to break down these units coming across. Oh, there's cavalry down here. Didn't even see those. They're hitting our armor pretty hard here. That was heavy casualties.

All right, other than that, that was pretty I guess that was okay. We got We have some cavalry down here we're going to have to handle, though. We're going to need to send some tanks back over here to try to get those. But let's go give away a game. So, I think I've got this set up here so that it's going to work so we can export YouTube chat live. And I think this is going to be automatic, but I've never done this before. So, if I screw this up, we'll figure out some other way to give these games away. Um, let's go in now. And this is our hopefully this will show up here. Export. Oh, sorry. I got to show this here. Our comment picker. Uhhuh. It looks like it's working. So, I've got the live stream chat in there, and we've got 37 new messages. It's going to filter out duplicate units, uh, duplicate names, and I think we just click this pick winner, and it's going to pick a winner for us. Now, I don't know where it's going to go, so okay, here we go. It's picking a winner. First game winner is Invictus.

Congratulations, you have won a key. So, I'll talk in a little bit about how you can, and I don't know what game this is going to be. So, if it's something you've already got, you can give it to a friend. I have no control over what key matches up with which game. Their mystery game, although I know that some of Slytherin's best games are in these keys. So, and we have more to give away. I've got, I think probably six or seven to give away tonight. So, Invictus is our first winner. What I'll ask you to do is to reach out. My email address is available on the main page if you click the information of the channel. Reach out by email. Send me an email and I will send you a key to a Slytherin game. So, we have our first winner. Congratulations to Invictus. We'll go to another one. Let's do we'll do one like after every turn now. Okay. So, we're done with turn one now and we need to come on to drive on to try to do turn two. Now, what problems do we have? We have this cavalry which is problematic down here. That infantry is not going to be all that helpful against them. But if we get a tank, ah, the tank can't reach.

That tank can't reach either. Okay, we're going to have to divert some forces here. But one thing that we can divert pretty quickly is this stook. This will make them pay. Here we go. Zero against four. Stuka dive bombers. All right, so we took them down to 11 and we kind of reduced their morale. That gives this infantry a 3 to six attack. Let's do that. That's pretty good. Actually, I'm going to undo that. I want to just move them over here in case we can get somebody else close to attack. So, let's whittle them down here. So, we lost three. They lost five. They're down to six strength now. So, we're chipping away at them here. Now, maybe can get something else over here to help attack that. I hate to divert our armor there. And I think they're going to reinforce that, but we need to do something about it. We can't let them fly around our back door here. Okay, we're going to divert one armored unit back over here and try to get this one. Okay, that should be enough, I think, to hold on to that. Now, up here, we've got a beatdown recon unit, and they reinforced their cavalry. So I think the Polish side has a lot of prestige as well. So one of the other elements that we can do with this is we can replace build replacements up and reinforcements as you're going along. And there are two buttons to do this. And this is actually a key element of the long-term gameplay. So I know a lot of people aren't familiar with the game. So I'll explain a little bit about it. We have two choices for replacements. We can see the first plus button there. So straight off to my left here, this is green replacements. They

are a lot cheaper. We can see the cost. It's very small, but it says 38 prestige points to get replacements for this. At the that level, we can also get elite replacements, which are going to cost 72 and will give us plus4 strength points. Now, at this point, and because we're playing one scenario, I'm going to be a little bit extravagant with replacements. Generally, as a strategy, you don't want to replace units while you're playing the scenario because replacing units in the middle of a scenario is I think it's two or three times more expensive than if you do it between scenarios. So, you're trying to save your prestige for the long term will be a little bit uh we'll spend a little bit here because we're doing this live stream and we're not necessarily designed to go through the whole thing. So, we're going to get um elite replacements here for this unit and that's all you can do for that turn.

It's brought it back up to 10 strength, but we've got some elite replacements there. Okay, now let's see what aircraft we might want to take care of. Here we have our BF 109s. We could attack either aircraft. Let's take care of these planes harassing our recon units. Oh, that was good. We got four and they only got one. So, we whittleled them down quite a bit here. I'm going to just take a moment now and shift over to our YouTube chat. Congrats. Thanks y'all. Dive bombing should also reduce dug. Yes. So TK says, let let's actually we'll take a look at that shortly. But TK's point is dive bombing will reduce entrenchment. And that's a very important concept in the game as well. But let us uh pour forward now. We get our recon unit going here. We somewhat know if we look to the left right here, we know what we've got coming up here, right? So we've got open space here now.

Okay, perfect. So maybe we can rescue these units. That might actually work. Let's get our tank, which is back here, pushing up. Actually, I want to move them right where the recon unit is. We'll move our recon unit here. And can they go again? No, they can't, cuz it's going through hills. But we can get our tank pushing forward right up here. So, we get these units coming back. It' be nice to get these joining our forces, too, cuz they can make us a lot stronger. Down here, we've got these returning veterans getting harried by the Polish Air Force. Infantry in the way. Can we get them through? We can somewhat get them through. The question is, do we want to push them through or do we want to try to give them replacements? Let's give them replacements. We're going to give them cheap replacements. We'll just let them sit there for a little bit until we get reinforcements up there. Now, they re reinforced this anti-aircraft unit here up to nine. So, they're spending units.

They're building things back up. Let's hit it again and make it pay. This is three against four. So, we will hit the anti-aircraft unit again. Nice. Okay, we got five and we drove it back. And we can just move our recon unit back over here. We're just going to keep this a little culde-sac until we can get these troops up and perhaps rescue those units. And we can. So, we can get our tanks coming up here fast. Now, still, they're not in really good shape hitting infantry dug in in the hills here. We'd be an even exchange. H not sure we want to attack that. Let's uh let me know what you think. Should we have our 10th Panzer 2D attack this Polish infantry or not? Or should we wait and go a little bit more cautiously? I'll um kind of wait for the response there while we move some other things around. We can push forward with these tanks here for sure. That's an easy decision. And let's get our infantry going up here. I want to keep them on the ground because I'm afraid we'll get counterattacked.

And let's get our other tank across the bridge here. Let's have them slide over and take this Polish town. Is that an airfield, by the way? It somewhat looks like it is, which we've sent both of our air units on missions. Hold them until you get more units closer. Sub six bones says wait. Trick says wait for combined arms. Okay, we'll play a little bit cautiously. And that actually probably makes sense because we on a long term we have 30 turns here. So, we'll pull our armor up here, but we won't attack. So, we'll start to get a line of supply going forward to these units, but we will not attack with them. Let's get our anti-aircraft unit up here. Going to be a little bit careful with this, but I think we're safe back here. And let's get our artillery up here.

Hopefully, they won't send cavalry in behind us and just hammer us here. Moving. Oh, we can anti attack with anti-aircraft on this unit right here. Excellent. Nice. Got some hits on it. And we can attack with this one. I think maybe we moved too far. Not sure why we can't attack there. Looks like it should be anti-aircraft gun. Let's get our big mammoth stern panzer across the bridge here. That cannot fire at that. Okay, let's get our artillery across and more infantry across. Everybody's pouring across. Do we need help up here, too? Let me know. Do should we divert an infantry unit up to try to help take on this cavalry or should we leave this recon unit to fend for themselves? I'll wait for your results there while we move this artillery up towards the bridge. And now down here, let's see if we can finish off this cavalry. This would be good. Oh, this is our stucas already attacked them. Oh, we already attacked down here, right? Yeah, we've already done this. Okay, but we've weakened them. So, that leaves our really our last unit here. I'll take the first. Soften them up with RT and air.

Go cautiously. wait for combined arms. Just want to know about this infantry. Do you think we should send them over here? And while we're waiting for that, then let's uh rename a couple of units here. You should move some units up to the north, says the happy war gamer. Okay, we'll do that. So, we're going to send our infantry. Do I want to put them in the truck and get them all the way up there? I feel like that would just invite a cavalry attack, but let's bring them up halfway a little bit in the truck. not close to that cavalry. Let's uh rename a unit here. Who would like to be? So, I think how we do this is I haven't done this for a while. I think if we click on unit details, then we can just click on the name here and rename it. So, who wants to be the leader of the seventh panzer? I'll take the first person who posts here.

And then, and this is one thing is you can name them after all your friends too. Yep. Okay. Parker is the first one here. So, Parkeras Parker's seventh panzer 1B. We're going to close it. Good. Okay. So, here's Parker's unit. Oh, it didn't stick. Oh, well, I'll fix that now. Parker's. Yeah, there we go. That's stuck being there. Okay, that's good. Panzer. Yeah. Okay, we should be good. Should name it when we click on it soon. There we go. There it is. Parker's seventh panzer 1B down here in the bottom left. All right, so I think we've taken care of everything. We've moved everything in the second turn here. A rather cautious advance, but let's see what the Polish forces do. We'll end the turn here. They got a lot of aircraft. I feel like in this is a measure of how hard this is because in the actual Polish campaign, right, the Germans had air superiority pretty quickly, right? Jim Wagner says, "Me, me, me." Okay, we'll get you. Let me know what kind of unit you want. Do you want to be tanks or recon or This cavalry is definitely harassing us here.

And they are pounding. We've retaken that town. We've lost that town, but that's fine. That's okay. All right, turn three here. We're making our way north now. We've got cavalry in here. They've really pounded our they they hammered that um armor unit that we sent up here that got beat down pretty bad. We're probably going to have to resupply that one, but okay. Can we rebase our aircraft now? They're way back here behind the lines. I think this Yes. So, this is an air base up here. And I think it's worth moving them up there because we're not going to be able to reach very much from back where we are. So, let's get our stooka unless we want to pound that cavalry now. Oh, they're up to 13 again. All right, let's hit the cavalry.

It's pesky because they keep resupplying these units. Now, one of the other elements of this is that you want to start cutting units off. Um, let's do this. We'll come out of the woods. And so, we're going to move both of these units and then attack. And now we get this encircled one. We could see that, which means it gives us a mass attack. It gives us attack bonuses. Wasn't really paying attention to that in the beginning, but that's definitely something you want to start to pay attention to. Let's do this mass attack first. Oh, they retreated towards us, which means this unit can't attack. Okay, I should have thought of that. So, okay, mistake number one there. Well, there'll be more mistakes to go through. Now, the question is, what do we do up here? All right, I'm going to keep our infantry on the ground. We'll move these up and let's bring some reinforcements into replacements into our recon unit and just let the this is going to go back and forth, but that's okay. I think once our infantry gets there, we'll slide up a little bit more. We should probably take this Polish town over here as well. So, let's come up here and grab this. That will get us pol towns two.

You can see the plus 50. Our prestige total went up by 52. So, in games as this gets closer, capturing key objectives can give you more prestige, but can get you more units. You get kind of on a roller coaster here. All right, so he wants the Emmy 109. So Jim Wagner wants the ME 109's. Where are you here? Okay, here we go. Wagner's 22nd BF 109. Perfect. Okay, we'll close that up. Good. That should have stuck. Yep, we got it. All right. Good. Good. Now, what do we do with this mess up here? Is it time to attack? Or should we just move closer, reinforce, and bring our artillery up behind it and start pounding them here? We know we want to bring this infernity up. We can bring a recon unit up here. And then we don't have a ton of forces though.

Can bring This is not artillery though. This is the artillery unit we want to get up there. I think we can risk it and pull them in behind the armor. I don't think Oh, good. They landed, too. They got out of their trucks, which is good. Okay. And now our infantry's got to move up. Starting to push forward here. This is an anti-tank gun. We will be aggressive with them. Let's be aggressive with these guys. Keeping them on the road here. This unit can pull up closer. Can we attack their air? No. Just out of range. This unit can go here. And our stern panzers, which are very slow. Pull them over here. More artillery coming across the river. And I think that's it. We can probably maybe we'll just leave the bridge here for these other units that are stuck on this other side. And I wish we killed that cavalry. That's going to slow us down, isn't it? Okay. And we're building up over here. We got nothing. These have already moved. And artillery cannot fire cuz they move too far. We have to see what we want to do with these units in here.

Now, where did that anti-aircraft gun go? Oh, it must be down here in this gray area cuz we've been hitting that pretty hard. And how about over here? No good attacks for us really with this recon unit. This tank is all beat up. So, let's get some replacements for this. We can't because it's cut off, I think. But we can move it here, which should help, I think. Hopefully, we don't use lose this. They're probably going to attack it pretty hard. But let's push this unit back here. All right, get our recon unit here. At a certain point, we might just have to take some bad attacks, but we should have some artillery in range next turn, which will help us. I suspect we might lose our first armored unit right there.

We'll see how it goes. Is your light artillery enough to move and shoot or move only? So, I think with artillery, you can move them one space and still fire. Once you move beyond that, you can't fire in the same turn. You have to wait a turn. But we have some more recon units coming down from the north here too or the west. Pull them over here. Can move again. Oh, this is a pretty good attack. Let's do it cuz we've got them encircled. Two against four. Let's take it. Got to start whittle. Oh, nice. We got five casualties on this Polish infantry. That was excellent. We can still move, but I actually like us there. Let's get this tank racing eastward, too. Oh, look at this. We catch this anti-aircraft out in the open. Let's take advantage of that. Zero to eight. Make them pay. Excellent.

Good. And no casualties suffered. And they had to retreat. Perfect. We could actually capture that air base and create some problems for him. All right. Anything else we could hit? Ah, that's No, that's our weakened armor. We don't want to do that. All right. But that actually good. That attack there by this recon by whittling this infantry down may have saved this Panzer unit right here, the 10th Panzer 2D. All right. I want the STM artillery says six bones. You got it. Let's rename it right here. We should give away another game too for sure. Let's get information up here. A little bit slow at it. Okay, so we're going to call it bones's six bones. General six bones. Six bones 19th stern panzer. Most excellent. It is yours. All right. This should be able to lay down some serious fire on the lefth hand side. By the way, for people that are new to the game, there's a ton of math behind this. If we look down here in this column on the left, we can see all of the attack values for these units.

So, uh, and if you click on this information panel, it opens up all of the statistics. So, we can see prestige cost slots it takes up, talking about the 50 core slots, how big that unit is in your formation. Movement type is armored, movement range is four, spotting of two, the range of fire is two, initiative determines whether it's going to attack, soft attack 17, hard attack eight, naval attack, ground defense. So it has a ton of abilities for them. And then heroes can get attached to the units as well. So you as units and you go forward in your campaign, heroes are going to arise out of battle and they provide special bonuses like extra movement and all sorts of things. I don't think I can rename the poles wolf dog, but I can check. And then you can get awards. So this is where uh but these require survive heroic defense levels. Survive five attacks in a single turn. Both attacks initiated by the enemy and counterattacks are counted. Uh so you can get special awards and I believe these give you bonuses too in this game.

And then this gives you the history of the unit. So it tracks all of the kills of all of the units when it's commissioned and what things what battles it's been in. And we can dress them up too. So, we can give some camouflage here to the ster panzer. Let's do that. Perfect. We'll dress it up. And then the insignia we can change as well. Let's give it a red one there. And then we'll close that up. So, now it looks completely different. Um, let's see if we can rename the Polish. I believe I don't think you can. Oh, yeah. Look at that. You can we can rename the Polish units. Interesting. I did not expect that to happen. But in in any case, I think we've moved and tacked everything that we possibly could. I'll lead one of the infantry units, says Scott Williams. Okay, let's put you at the vanguard here. Now, I if we had some pioneer infantry, that would be good.

And I'm not sure that we do. The pioneers are the engineers, and they're great at attacking cities, but I'm not sure that we have any. Don't tell me. Oh, look at that. Gosh, we That was a mistake, right? So, the pioneers are very good at attacking entrenched fortifications. They they suffer no entrenchment penalties when they're attacking cities. So, this unit here, we want up here attacking cities. We didn't pay attention to it and we sent it in the wrong direction. So, it's those little subtle things that make you a better player or a weaker player. This is a mistake. The pioneer that's doing this detail over here should not be here. We should have paid attention to what infantry we're sending around and we should it should be up here leading it so that we can have it lead on the attack on Lelo, but we'll get it back.

So, I know do says trick. That's the second of many mistakes we will make. I think that's it. Let's go on to our next turn, turn four. I must say we're doing better than I did by myself this afternoon when I made pretty much every mistake possible. All right, air attacks coming in. All right, they're attacking our tanks up here. attack someplace else. I lost track of where they Oh, they're attacking that tank. Hopefully, yes, it survived, I think. Excellent. They're trying to kill that recon unit. They are hammering that recon unit up here. It's down to seven. But we did it. Okay, let's go give away another game here. My favorite publishing game. Oh, BR. Nice. Lots to take care of. Yeah, this is so so I should explain, too. That's actually um Ernie Duca says lot to take care of.

That's actually a very good point. Most of the campaigns start out, the first scenario is kind of a feel, what I call the feel-good scenario. You're guaranteed to win. It's really easy. The enemy forces aren't that strong. This DLC is the latest, newest DLC. This is a hard scenario for the first scenario. So, I think this DLC is designed for players that have more experience at the game than than I do at this point. But yeah, you can lose. So yes, you can well lose or enjoy or Yeah, let's go give away another game though here. And if the only thing I'm going to say if we pick Invictus again, you're not going to get something. Okay, so you're only going to get one. So just so we can split them up here. So sorry, Invictas, you won't win this one even if you do win this one. We are up total captured 19. I wonder why it went down.

Oh, okay. Well, we'll pick the winner here. I think it's working. Let's go from this and Murvy 4. Congratulations is our winner of the next game. Likewise, reach out to me via email and I will send you that key. I have no idea what the game is for. It's something from Slytherin. If you've already got it, you can give it away to a friend and make them happy. But uh we'll get get that key to you on your way. And let's pick we'll give it away another one in a short bit here, too. Wow. 46 minutes. We've gone quite a ways already, but hopefully this pace is okay. U because I think it's worthwhile to explain things for people that don't uh aren't familiar with the game, which it sounds like most people were not. All right, so uh it is our turn now. Time to attack everyone. Let me know in the comments here. Let me just click over here. Let me know here. Congrats, MV. Is this Frontline DLC? Um Alfons Zuko says, "Is this Frontline DLC?" The answer is no. This is the Ghost Division, the very new DLC. And that's what we're talking about. This one feels to be somewhat advanced in its level of complexity here. Look at these pesky poles. They've reinforced this cavalry. It's up to 11. We keep beating it down and they keep reinforcing it.

Okay, we're going to send our Stooka over here. We're going to finish them off. Oh, they're in the woods this time, which is going to make it harder. Okay, we got them down to eight here. Let's finish these guys off. One against four. We'll do this without running cuz they're going to retreat somewhere. And now our infantry can come in and maybe finish them off. Finally. Let's kill them off. Yes. All right. There we go. Very good. Did I Scott, did I give you an infantry unit? If we did, we'll give you the one at the Vanguard up here. Let's do this one. Think I missed that one. Yep, we did not. So, we're going to go Scott W's third wear infantry. All right, we'll move forward there. Doing a good job. Thank you, Pesky Poles. Nice Red Sox reference.

That was completely unintentional, but that's actually pretty good, isn't it? For unintentional. Okay, good. So, we attacked here. We burned up these three. Oh, we can we can move our armor. Let's send them boldly forward into the unknown here. We'll have them come. Probably should have had them come back to the bridge there because I think we're going to get stuck here. Yeah, I might even go back the next turn. But I want to send this infantry on the other side of the bridge so they can't escape. Okay, I think it's time now to start attacking, right? So, let's make the Poles pay here. And wow, what a big mess this is. Let's fire artillery on this cavalry and see if we can do this. Now, one thing I do want to show here that's important as we get further into the game and in scenarios and things, you'll notice for the right beside my head here, right there. I can't see. Oh, it's behind me.

There's a two out of seven with a little shovel reference. That's the unit's entrenchment value. And when a unit sits in a position, they keep entrenching and keep digging in. and artillery. When we hit this with artillery, it should lower this entrenchment value. So, we're going to fire here at this cavalry 14. And if we look at the entrenchment, it stayed the same now. Okay. Well, that's it's not what we wanted there. Two out of seven. Usually, it goes down. I don't know why it didn't in this case, but that's one of the things you want to do when you start attacking cities is pounding these units in the cities to reduce their entrenchment and then you can attack with them, but still, I think we can make these units pay. So, let's attack artillery. Three against five. Let's see if we can slide forward with this recon a little bit here.

How about this infantry? Oh, this looks pretty good. All right, Scott W, you're up. You're going to fire here. Three against seven. Mass attack. We have got them heavily surrounded, too. Let's see if we can make them pay. Nice. Six. We lost five. They lost six. But that's pretty good. We can probably finish him close to finishing him off here if we attack here with the recon. One against four. They're down to two. That's good. Getting closer. I'm wondering if we can bring something up to finish them off. Can't get there from here. Okay, but here we go. Let's push this unit up here. Oh, we can wipe these guys out. We can have our recon unit wipe these guys almost. We're one. Push these up here. See if we can drive this infantry out. This should get That's Parker's panzers. Nice. Parker's panzers. Picks up the kill. Knocks out this infantry. We're blowing a hole here. Then we're going to have to come down and take this town and then we can drive up to Lilo. So, we're making good progress. They lose all entrenchment when they move. Uh, Invicta says, "I can't find your email. I will give you more instructions at the end." It's a little bit tricky. It's kind of hidden so it doesn't get scraped. Um but um I'll I'll help us out with that as we go forward. I just want to stop at the moment to do that. This tank even is our forward unit here, our 10th Panzer.

Let's get them some elite replacements. Get them back up to strength so they can get back into action here. Okay, we're making progress now. This infantry is problematic. And however, we can probably move up here and start firing at this aircraft. We've got they already attacked. They can push forward. Well, we don't have a ton of stuff here, do we? All right, they can't go forward. Let's keep our lines somewhat intact here. They moved. They haven't attacked. This recon, can they get back? They can. They can get somewhat to safety, which is good. And let's actually leave them there and give them re replacements here. Now, they're not our own troops. These are troops. We don't These are not core troops. So, we're going to give them to cheap replacements because we don't really care too much about them over here.

Polish. What is this? Our anti-tank guns. All right. There's not too much here, but know what to do with this tank. H. Well, I know what to do with this tank, which is to hit this anti-aircraft gun and take the air the airfield there, too, which should be good. All right. So, we got that gun and drove them back. Very, very good. Can we finish them off? No, we can't go that way. We need more troops up here.

Six against four. I don't want to do that. Go around them. Yeah, we can go around them a little bit here. Let's keep pushing forward. Now, I want to surround them, though. They're stuck, man. We We're a little bit stuck on things to move and do here. Let's be a little bit cautious then. Maybe we'll bring up this anti-aircraft gun here. Then we can fire at their aircraft. Maybe destroy this unit here. Take them down. Excellent. Polish planes to the ground. Bring up this artillery can go behind this unit here. Good. We've actually got there's no Polish units in here. So, that's done pretty well. Let's move up our anti-aircraft up over here. I don't want these cavalry to lay waste to us. This infantry, we got to get them forward as well. And our stern panzer with its cool.

Let's get them over. No, actually, let's not do that. Let's bring our stern panzer up here closer to the town so we can start dropping artillery on this stuff in the town. And our artillery will come up here. Grab over here. That's more artillery. And we've got Oh, we've got this uh fighter pilot. Let's get them to attack the Polish aircraft. That will be good. See if we can take them down. This is Wagner's BF 109s. Here we go. Going to get a kill. Oh, so close. Little bit of casualties, but we knocked out four of their five planes there, I guess. Yes. Um, Hycats made I see your comment here. Um, Panza Core 2 is on sale to the 18th for 13.99, 65% off. Pretty much all of Slytherin stuff is on sale now. So, they're giving away a ton of stuff at discount. And there's three free games. There's Field of Blur 2. Uh there's a couple other and they're good games. Oh, Fantasy General 2. If you are interested in this and you like fantasy hex encounters combat, Fantasy General 2 is a great game that uses the same system except it's fantasy combat. It's a little bit older, but that's a really good game, too. And then there's another one, too, that they're giving away totally free. It's only until tomorrow.

This is the Tomorrow is the last day of it. So, I have a link on my in the community column on the channel that has a link to where you can get them, but if you go to Steam and you go to just Google Slytherins's page, they'll have the three free games. They're really good games and they're free and almost everything is 65 80% off, so it's really really cheap here. Okay, so um let's see anything else that we want to do. We've moved our tanks here. We've got this recon that can do some stuff, but I don't see anything it can really damage that much. We could bring them over here, but that anti-tank gun will hit it. Um, let's give it some rements just to build it back up to full strength then. And how about these guys down here? They already moved. Did we deal with our Oh, we did not. We didn't deal with these units over here. We should be able to start attacking them. Let's do this.

We're going to have our recon come up here. Whittle away these cavalry. I mean, we are making them pay somewhat and we'll push them up here. This unit. Oh, right. We can move these guys. Let's Who is this? Just our fifth panzer. It's unnamed. H. Where? I think we want to get them back over to our main thrust here. But let's send them straight across the Polish Polish countryside. Coming in here. We're actually doing pretty well for a buildup on the town now. I think we can take this eventually this pocket and then push up. And it doesn't seem like this is an urgent game, right? We've got 30 turns. Blue dark dark blue in says do not put armor in close defense, hex's, cities, towns, forest, hills, etc. Oh, so keep them out of forest as well. Like this here is a bad idea is what you're saying to me, right?

So this one right here, the tenth panzer 2D sitting in the forest should not be there is what you're telling me. I mean, it's safe here because it's behind the lines, but we don't want the units in the front in there. We want them in the open. That makes sense. Yeah. You have zero close defense except for engineers. Yes. Okay. Makes sense. Let's uh end this turn and let's give away another game cuz we're going to go I'll probably go about an hour and we'll go about another 20 minutes or so. What's going on here? We should watch what the polls are doing. Where did that come from? A little bit of casualties. They got a lot of units down in Mizcow down here. A little bit of casualties on our recon unit. That's a Polish unit. What the heck?

That's Polish. Is that them? No, that's us. How did they move? Oh, they must have retreated. Okay, I get it. Let's give away another game. Yeah. So, uh, let's go into our comment picker here. Oops, sorry, wrong one right here. And I think it's picking c new captured message maybe since the last time. So, keep chatting if you want one. Let's pick a new winner. And again, if you've won already, you won't win again. So, we'll just we'll redo it. Trick wins a game. Congratulations. Trick has been a long-term follower on the channel and has posted, I think probably on every video I've made, so I'm happy to see someone whose name I I recognize, too, a long-term poster picking up a win here. I know I've seen Invictus before as well. But congratulations. Good to have new people picking up win picking up games as well. So, we got three winners.

Right at the end of the chat, I'll go in and explain how to reach out to my email so we can get you the games. That gives us three now. Let's give away another one in a minute. We'll do it maybe one or two more turns and I think we're probably pretty pretty good here. Okay, so let's uh drive on and see if we can start causing more casualties here. We you know this armor is going to sit on this side of the river for so long and attacking AC. This is if you want to learn bad tactics, try attacking into a city across a bridge. Look at that. We would lose eight casualties to their zero if we tried to attack that infantry dug in in the town. So rather than I think it's just a waste of time to have them sit there and try to wait to cross the river. We're going to bring them back over here. So they went that way and then they went this way. However, I think it will be helpful to have this infantry on this side of the river and to get in there. It's going to be a longer hall for them to come around over here. Can we do something devastating to this Polish cavalry? Two against four.

Yeah, we'll do that. We'll hit them and then let's have this unit. I'd like to surround them if I can. I probably should have moved up on both units so we get a mass attack. But okay, so we're starting to wear them down a little bit. This is just going to be a a long hall. I think maybe if you Oops, sorry. If you know the game well, what I am wondering, can you get less reinforcements replacements if you have an enemy unit next to you? I believe that is the case. So, but I'm not 100% sure there. Free games. Yes, more free games coming. We'll give away at least a couple more here. Probably three or four more. We do a Bonanza. We'll give away three for the last one. I just want to make sure I don't give away more than I have. That would be expensive. All right. So, we fought up here. We've moved our units down here. Let's now get our Stooka. We want to rebase our Stooka. Let's get our Stooka. So, I'm going to click the rebase aircraft here.

And do we own any other bases? We just own Oh, we do own this one up here, too, with our tank on it. Boy, that would put us right in the thick of things, wouldn't it? And we'd be able to reach anything. But let's just be a little bit cautious and go here first. Now, I think that we want to have Wagner's BF 109's finish off this Polish Air Force here, or do we want to have them attack over here? That's a bigger, juicier target. Let's come in for the kill, though. I want to wipe this unit out. Then we'll send them back to get the other ones. Let's have Wagner get another kill. I love that graphic of the aircraft getting shot down. Very good. Yeah, you should you should be if you have less supply then you get the less replacements max. Yes, probably says OG. I'll DM you a Discord. Yeah, that's fine. Ter, any any way you can reach out to me is fine. If you have a different way to get in touch with me, that's fine. I can get you the just someplace private so that you make sure you get the game. All right, so our aircraft is gone. Now, let's see what we want to try to do. I would love to get this infantry here and beat them up a little bit.

Polish they are two out of seven. I feel like oh six to three man. What about this cavalry? Can we hit them? Okay, we can move up and start firing here. Start blowing things up with cavalry with our artillery. The stern panzer six bones has been patiently waiting for action here. Oh, look at this. This is good though. Let's move our infantry up here. This is Scott W. They've been busy. 0 to five. We catch the cavalry in the open, but let's move our stern panzer up first and then pound this cavalry to weaken them a little bit. Excellent. And now we're going to come in on the ground and attack them. Cuts them down to three. Perfect. Very good. Now, can we attack with our recon? This infantry is problematic here, but we have artillery.

We move them up one. We can have this artillery fire here. That will start to weaken them. Good. Takes them down to 13. Now it's only four to two, four to three. Man, we need something strong here that can hit that anti-aircraft. There are no aircraft left over here. Push these guys up here and can't fire anything. They're on high ground. That's good. We need to get this artillery into the action here. I want to get this unit out of the way to a degree. Move them over there. Let's pull this unit up. They'll be able to fire next turn. Now, what can we do here? I think we can surround this unit for sure. Another thing that we can do, we want to start to do is to u because if you surround a unit and then attack it and it has to retreat, then you wipe it out, which is a delicious way to wipe out a lot of units at once. So, our anti-tank gun. Boy, it's a real traffic jam up here, isn't it? Let's reinforce this tank unit. Let's push this tank unit up one.

here. And they are encircled now, which should help us. Can bring this tank unit over here. And do we dare attack? Four against two. Let's do it. We got a strength of 12. We need to start making progress here. We lost three. That was expensive. We only damaged them two. But now we should get a No, we still don't get a good attack. That might have been a little bit aggressive. I think that was probably a mistake. That could cost us this tank unit here, which is one of the ones we were trying to get back to. Two to two. So, we take that. Pull the recon around it to surround it. And encircled. And now we'll attack. Let's get there. Two casualties. Two casualties. Ah, man. We're not doing so well now. That's not very good. Okay, up here though, we should be able to blow this anti-aircraft unit away and we'll get our tanks back. Three. Good. That has to retreat this way. Now, we're going to finish them off with the fifth Panzer 35T. Put them in the open. Good.

Overrun. We can keep going. Let's take this city. Good. Good. And we can attack here, but I want to attack the armor there, too. You need the British beach master and his dog from longest day to clear the traffic jam. GC. Funny. Funny. Oh, see. I just won three. I won three free games just for showing up. Wouldn't have known of Slytherin days. That's awesome. You won. So on other streams, you won three games. O fantastic. That's great. Okay, let's see what else we've got to move and fire with. We've got this anti-tank unit. That's going to be good at the front here. Let's Oh, that was a mistake. I want to undo that. I don't want to leave them in a truck for sure. I guess we'll just leave them there for the moment. Four to three. That's expensive for armor. Four to two. Expensive for recon. We can get this unit on the next turn though, for sure. They can't go anywhere. They're kind of trapped. And we have a lot of turns.

This is five out of 30. So, we'll be patient. And we got the first grenadier here. Um, let's push them up over here to start going around. I guess it's a big traffic jam that I think having Yeah, I'm not sure. I guess you just have to kind of punch through this. But I think we will leave that there. They have rebased. They've attacked the cavalry and whittleled them down. These units are coming back into position. Those poor Polish horses. All right. And this unit's moving up to the bridge head up here. Let's now end our turn then. Polish aircraft going back when they bombed. Little bit of annoyance. Oh, they fired anti-aircraft at our Wagner's BF 109s and took out a a plane there. Gosh, they got a lot of units coming up here.

That was a costly attack though. They went from 15 down to seven. Attacking our recon. That's the Polish. They have some strong units. Infantry pouring out of Lo attacking our advanced armor. made them pay a little. Here comes some Polish tanks. They've encircled this unit. Man, this is some serious counterattacking going on from the Poles here. There's units flying up here. Don't retreat. There's no place to go. Turn six out of 30. Um, let's uh give away another game here. We'll get back to this. So, we are here picking a 28 comment chat messages. Let's uh pick a winner again. If you've already won, you won't win again. We'll pick the double name. Our fourth winner of the night, Sixbones. Congratulations.

Excellent. With the Sterm Panzer, picks up a game. So, if you can know how to find my email address on the channel information, you can do that and get in touch that way. If not, I'll give some instructions closer at the end. Uh, let's do actually, let's do another one. I know I've given away I think I've given away four here. So, let's uh pick another one here um right away. So, we're going to give a second game away here. We're picking a winner. Soy Sauce Hobbies, what a great name, is our next winner. Let's play uh what is it? 806. We'll play one more turn and then we'll give away two more games and I think that gives away seven and I think I gave away three in other places. I'm giving away one blue sky there. I'm giving away one on Blue Sky if you want to follow me on Blue Sky that you can reply there. I'll pick a winner from that. I'm also there's a a post on the YouTube channel talking about this stream. If you comment to that, you can win a win a game there. And then I'm giving away one on the Patreon as well. If you comment on that, you can win away one there. And I think that will give away all 10 that we had. Let's get back now, however, to our action at hand. Things are starting to get thorny here now in terms of what's going on here. That was a massive Polish counterattack. They've encircled our recon and we can't get any reinforcements here. We've got to save the the recon from the north here. Um, and they brought armor up here out of Lilo to attack us. This is a tough scenario. They're throwing a lot of stuff at us here. I wasn't expect to get counterattack get counterattacked with such force here but um nevertheless I think here one

thing that we can do is highlight how if a unit is surrounded and then you attack it you can wipe it out. So let's first pound it with some artillery to wear it down. This one we might want to save for up here. Yeah. So that's good. And now I think if we excuse me we have this armor attack it. Two against three. Nope. Let's have Scott's infantry is going to attack. It's zero against four, but I think that's going to force it to retreat and that's going to give us and wipe it out. Three against three. Surrendered. So, we caused them to surrender because they were surrounded and had no place to go, which was excellent. The other thing about this too, which is cool about the campaign, if you go against uh enemy artiller and enemy tanks, en weapons, and you get them to surrender, you can take their gear and their their units and you can have it be captured tanks.

So, we could capture some Polish tanks and then build them into future units. You can have a unit that can take over the enemy tanks. It's pretty cool, especially if you're the allies in some of those, you know, and you fight against the Germans. Uh you can grab some panzers and then put them in British or American uh decals and they're all yours. Okay, good. So, that was helpful. Let's uh see if we can now do the same thing here to this infantry on the airfield. Let's fire there down to four. That was good. We move them up. And that would be two against three. Love to whittle them down more, but I'm not sure that we have any options for doing so. Two against two with the recon. Let's try it though and see if we can push them back. I think we're going to need We're in high ground. I think we're going to need a lucky attack to finish that. That Oh, that anti-tank gun hit us hard. Oh, we got him. We wiped him out.

Nice. 10th Panzer 2D takes up the victory there. Now, I would love to get this airfield here, but I don't want to risk it pushing too far forward with this. We are going to need some units to come up in here and get these this high ground here. All right. Um, now, can we do some damage over here on this anti-tank gun? Yes, we can cuz we want to save this recon unit. So, let's see if we can pound them with artillery. Good. Brings them down to five. I think this also might be a good case for Well, no. We've got this tank here. I was thinking we might want to bring our aircraft in to hit them there. Zero against two. Can we push them? I don't want to. I want to p No, we got to get reinforcements for this. I was thinking to bring them up here into the attack, but then we can't give them replacements. We're going to give them replacements, but let's We could pull them back first.

Yeah, let's pull them back. Get them out of the woods, then we'll give them replacements. Give them a little bit of air here. Zero against two. I'd love to see if we could surround them first, but I'm not sure that we can. Let's just make them pay. Three. We pushed them forward. Let's take the ground. Good. And now this armor here should be able to wipe out this encircled anti-tank gun. Eventually they got to run out of units. Overrun. We can keep going and we can attack this armor at two to two. Um, let's wait a little bit first because we have, if I'm not mistaken, we have our stookas and they can reach these tanks and they will make them pay. Look at that. These stookas are awesome. Zero and four.

Five. Perfect. That was really good. I'm gonna see the chat here again. Nothing like a good Polish lancers charging tanks. Gotta finish cooking. Y'all be well. See you, Joey J. All right. Okay. So, good. So, we made those tanks hurt. And now I think if we attack the tanks, we get one against two. We'll take it down to three. That was some painful armor losses for the poles there. That was a good one. Now, these are still cut off though. We can't get them reinspedied here. Four against one. Nothing good to attack here though. That recon unit is weak. Weak sauce. What do we have up here? Three to six. Zero against seven against this infantry. Let's or three against six against the self-propel gun. Let's go up here and see if we can hit this infantry. Mass attack. That sounds pretty good.

Oh, nice. Eight casualties on that one. Let's finish them off if we can with the recon. Probably not. No, just one unit. Bummer. All right, we've got uh Wagner's BF 109s here. Is there any targets that they can hit? These Polish aircraft are around here. Here we go. Yeah. All right, let's get this bomber here. One against four. We should rack up some casualties here. Nice. Three. We lost one. That's good. We'll take it. They resupplied this cavalry. Let's see if we can cut them off here, though. Um that's the aircraft here. Let's move up here. And they're encircled. Two against four. Okay, we'll somewhat take that. Zero against three.

Yeah, let's take it. All right, six. We're wearing them down. They're still getting reinforcements here. Replacements. Go up here. Let's make sure we stay in the town so they don't take that. And that's good there. All right, so we're making progress. We got to get our infantry over here. Moving up towards the town to attack across the bridge. This armor which is on a sightseeing tour is got to get back in line. That was a wasted couple of turns for them. Going to have to reinstall this. Scratch the old SSI general series. Itch says Wolf Dog. Yeah, this is the fun thing I think about it too. Like we're playing the beginning of one scenario. As you get to know your units and you can name your units and you see them and they get experience, they start to get heroes and they start to get special skills and you get these little awards. I showed these earlier in the game where uh you know you get little mini achievements here where destroy 200 points of enemy infantry strength and then you get plus one to soft attack. That's the bonus that you get when you start getting units close to these two. Like every unit has its own story. And I mean we saw the DLCs. There are hours and hours.

And the biggest one too is the main game has a full World War II span in it. But then it's broken down. There's about six or seven DLC's, one per year, and you can start with the Spanish Civil War, and bring German units there. Then they come up to 1939, 1940, Poland, France, 1940. They go all the way through World War II with about 10 to 15 scenarios per DLC. Literally like a 90 scenario campaign arc that you can play all of World War II. So, you can play it. The campaign arc has two levels. If you just buy the base game, you get I think it's about 15 to 20 scenario campaign and it branches so you can go in all different directions. Um, if you get the DLC's, I think it's like a 70 or 80 scenario full epic campaign and it can go in different directions too. You can end up with a combined Japanese attack on the United States or you can end up defending uh Berlin. So, it goes all different ways as you play the game more. It's just really fun to see how it can go and tell different stories. All right, so we got a few things left to clean up and then we'll finish up this turn, give away a couple more games and I think we'll wrap up the stream for tonight here. This is our infantry. They are moving forward here. We're going to need them forward here. I think maybe attacking this base.

They're kind of slow. I guess they're walking, so that makes sense. Anti-aircraft. We've wiped out a lot of aircraft here. Let's just have them sit out here on our flank. This unit needs replacements. Oh, they retreated. What else can we do here? Just want to make sure we get everything. This unit. Boy, these are some That's a recon unit. We don't want to lose that. We'll give it just uh cheap replacements because it's not our core unit down here. They've acted. This unit can act. Let's get them back up to full strength. That's our replacement re. Let's get those up. These have all gone. I think we're good here. They Scott went. They're a little weakened here. I might I think I'm going to pull them back. I'm afraid this cavalry attack will kill them. Yeah, let's we're going to pull them back a little bit. Just get them off the front line and get them rehabbed. Some replacements. This tank, the 10th Panzer is in a vulnerable spot, but hopefully we've made them pay a little bit here.

This is actually Oh, anti-tank unit. Let's push them forward. Yeah, that's a good one to have close up front there. Actually, I'm going to undo that. And I want to have them go right here beside our armor to help out a little bit. All right, I think that's good for this turn. Let's finish it up and then we'll give away a couple more games. SSI Norway campaign is always tough. Oh, I should watch what I'm doing. I'm reading the chat and ignoring my army here. What have we got coming up? Cavalry attacking that tank. Okay, that's good. Beat them down. That was excellent. More infantry. They have so many troops pouring out here. Anti-tank retook that field there. Don't destroy our tank. Down to four. Okay, good. Down to five. That recon took the city.

Boy, it's just a back andforth battle now, isn't it? Oh, they're going to wipe out our tank. No, it survived and retreated. One hit point left on that armor. Was that Parker's tank? And this recon unit has two points left. Awards ceremony. The fifth Panzer 3T 35T has been decorated with heroic defense level one. What do they do? Close. Your unit earned a medal that will permanently attach to this unit. Oh, that's cool. We got our first memo medal here. So, that's this unit here. And I think that was the one. If we look at it, that's the one survivor. Survive six attacks in a single turn is level two. But we got level one. We're survivor. As long as this unit has more than one strength, it will always survive an enemy attack. So, we earned our first award with that. What a fitting way, I think, to wrap up this stream here as we've survived that massive attack. Let's give away a couple more games and then I'm going to I think we'll save up. We've gone a little bit over almost an hour and 15 minutes or so, but we have more fun stuff to give away. Let's go in now and come back and give away a couple more games. Thanks so much, by the way, everybody, for your patience. This is the uh second time I've done a live stream of a game. The first time to do a live stream. Last time I did a live stream, it was for trucking and you don't have to think much to drive a truck, but this I feel like I have to kind of think and talk and try to pay against in chat. So, I'm sure I'll get better as I do it more.

But, thanks so much for your patience and understanding as we kind of weed our way through this and learn how to do this. We'll pick a winner again. If you've already won, you won't win again. Uh, just so we can spread them around as much as we can. We'll give away two more games. Pick a winner. We have our next winner is Invictus. He already won, so he can't win twice. So, we're going to pick again. So, we'll go again. and six bones. You already won. You can't win again. Okay, so Patchwork Pictures, congratulations. You have won a random key to a Slytherin game. Again, I don't know what keys go with what games. So, you're going to get a key if you've already got it. You can give it away to a friend. But hopefully, it's something that you like and don't have or interested in trying. We'll pick one more winner. That will be our seventh, I think our seventh and final winner for tonight. See what we get. Air attack 465. Congratulations. You are our final winner for the evening here. Let me see now if I can go to the YouTube channel and show you how to get my email address because a couple of people mentioned they were struggling with that. So, I'll just click here. We'll go to the YouTube channel. I'm going to click basically on my icon and it's going to load the main page here. And on this main page, if you click um there's the the icon here. It says Zillow Blitz, the main bar. It's just got the information under this more icon here.

If you click that, it opens up down here. And then under more info, it has view email address. And if you click that, it'll open up your email address and you can reach out to me. So if you won one of the games, that's a way to reach out to me. If you're already connected with me on Discord or if you're on Blue Sky and connected with me that way, you can reach out to any of those places. Just reach out some way. Let me know who you were and then we'll get you the random key that you've won. And I think that gives us uh seven winners for tonight. There's also if you if you didn't win tonight, there's still three more ways to win. There's a public post on my Patreon channel. So, if you you can go you don't have to be a Patreon supporter to reply to a public post. So, on my Patreon channel, the link is in the description on any video. I'll put it in this link on this stream afterwards, but there's a link to the Patreon anywhere that you want to go.

You can put a comment on that. I'll pick one more winner from that. There's a blue sky post that went up today that has a comment on it, and you comment on that, you can pick a winner there. And then the last, the third, and final one that's not given away now will be on the channel itself. There's a post about this YouTube stream that's uh if you just comment on that. I'm going to pick a random winner from that, too. So, I'm giving away three more Slytherin keys after the stream. I'll probably do that tomorrow. So, sometime in the next, say, 24 hours, you want to jump in and and do that, and then we will uh wrap it up here. But I think that uh finishes us up for tonight. We got through seven of the 30 turns, but I hope we had fun. I I really appreciate Thanks so much everybody for for everybody who hopped out and joined on the stream. I have to go back to the chat here to take it. Um that option is not possible on a film.

That might be why. Yeah, looking forward to the upcoming ASL. I would be curious too as we wrap up here um if you would people would like to see more live content and see us maybe continue this scenario until the end. This seemed to go uh pretty well. We seem to range just kind of looking at numbers. I'll check them later. But it seemed to be interesting enough that people stuck with it. We didn't end up with two people. We had, I think, at one point about 40 50 people watching. And if people enjoyed this, I'm thinking to do maybe a live stream of this sort, maybe every two weeks or so, maybe once a week. But let me know either on a comment on this stream if you'd like to see that or in the chat. Now, I'll stick around for a few more minutes here. But this has been great fun for me to do. Thank you for being so kind in the comments. I will uh save this game uh in case we want to continue this one on. I am curious to see how this would go. The This is a tough scenario though. I'm definitely doing better than I tried this afternoon, but we've yet to take this town and the Poles seem to be spawning reinforcements and throwing them forward at our troops. We've just barely survived on this fifth Panzer unit. Where is Parker's pan? Here it is up at the front. Whittle down to seven strength. But how many experience points do they have now? I think these units actually start with a bunch, 1100. So, I think you got 111 experience points. And what about your history here? Four infantry kills, two tank kills. That's pretty good. Three anti-tank. I think that's strength points perhaps. So, doing pretty well there. And then Scott Williams at the forefront here. Had to pull them back to get them rested. Storm panzers. Uh, six bones made some

impressions. Started to fire here. Unit got beat. We'll get them back up in front. And Wagner's BF 109 racking up the damage here. They're whittleled down to eight strength points, but been a key force in taking out the Polish air force here. Completely wiped out this air force here on this front. But I think these planes might be the ones that were over here. So Wagner will have some targets in the next time we get together. Anyway, um we'll wrap this up here for tonight. I'll save this and then we will continue on. Thank you so much for watching. It says, "Will this VOD post on YouTube?" Yes. So the live stream will be available on YouTube. It saves. It should be available right after this. I'll take a check here and see. Um, would love to keep watching but make it longer so you don't have to rush. E, this was a blast. Looking forward to upcoming ASL competent not possible on a phone. Just kind of looking through this. Congratulations to our winners. Lots of fun. Great job.

Thanks so much everybody. All right. Um, I'm going to end this up now. Thank you again for watching. Uh, depending on feedback and feel free to reach out to me in other places too if you enjoyed this. I'd also be open to feedback on how to do this better as well because this was really the second time I've done it. So, I'm sure there's other ways and things that we can do. But, I think we uh we made some pretty decent progress in what is I think a decidedly hard campaign. I might have to level up and get good to be able to do this one very successfully or drop down a uh a difficulty level. Thanks for watching everybody. I'm going to end our stream now and uh make sure you reach out if you were one of the seven winners of games. Appreciate you stopping in. Have a great night everyone. Bye.

Progress saved
