Eldritch Horror—built to create memorable experiences
probably a game that has given some of the greatest board game memories that we have like in terms of just uh game that has given uh some of the high some of these just incredible highs and and I just think the game is is really crafted to do that one. It's just an incredible sandbox. I mean, we've um you know, we got the we came from Arkham Horror.
I actually played a ton of Arkham a lot of Arkham >> um and then moved to Elder Horror. And what Elder Horror did was it kept what we liked about Arkham Horror, I think, in terms of the just not knowing what event, you know, drawing an event card. And I mean, gosh, you get start to get more and more expansions and the the variability is just off the charts, the characters, the ancient ones, the events, all of it.
But the systems really streamlined from Arkham Horror to Eldrich horror. Like it felt like they just cleaned it up. The actions are just simple. No more gate burst. Praise the Lord. You know, get rid of that mechanic. But uh but it just felt like a much more refined experience to where now you can just you're not getting bogged down in all these like things, these other things, but it's just leaning into the variability of the game and it delivering a completely unique experience every time you play.
And that's what this game does. When you go into a game of Elder Chore, it is going to lead you down a path that you have no idea.
