Now, as you see behind me, there are tons and tons of board games.
Board games that some that I buy that sit up in shrink wrap on on that shelf forever. But recently, we've discovered a new device and it has changed how we do things and the excitement in the house is absolutely through the roof. And that is a product called Board. Okay? And it came in a bigger box, but I didn't think I could get it in the camera. And this incredible board is an electronic tabletop uh board game, basically. And you can play multiple games on it. We're going to go down, we're going to go take a look at this incredible thing that uses all kinds of different pieces and and um and things like that and and the the screen recognizes all these wonderful pieces that you're going to see here.
And I can't believe how blown away I'm going to get give a little spoiler here. How blown away I am by this. And I have a lot to say about this on the other side. And I don't want to make this a a 45-minute video. But uh I want to show you a few things. We're going to have other videos about all the games that come with this, but I want to talk about how this changes how my family goes about doing things. And I'm I'm completely shocked by it and blown away by it as well. Being an old school guy like myself, being able to take a look at this thing is truly truly incredible and it is the future. The future because it's done right with incredible passion. But, we'll talk more about that on the other side of taking a look at it and some footage of my family. So, let's go down to the table and take a look at Board.
So, let's take a look at this and go over this a little bit. I'm not going to go over everything cuz I'm going to break down the games themselves, but you're going to get a a whole bunch of baggies with with all kinds of different parts that you're going to be able to use for this this thing. And And what I'm going to show you right now is Board Arcade, but I want to show you some of the games. They have the Heist, which is a newer game that just came out where you're going to be placing mirrors and stuff to try to prevent and I'll show you some of the mirrors here. On the back, here's the mirrors. Um and you're going to be trying to deflect the lasers so you can steal everything, of course. Um they have a game here um choose one of the gods of Olympus to conquer your opponent. So, it's a strategy game. Uh the Bloogs Blitz, that's a game that is going to be coming out on the 19th, uh which we already have. Board Tabletop Bit Beta, which is going to be a game that is you're going to take your figures, your miniatures, and there's going to be tons of maps and you can do your own RPGs and stuff like that, which is just incredible.
Uh some of the other things that are coming, uh let's go to the store here and uh take a look, and I want to uh show you um oh, Spycraft uh we have um uh the Bloogs. Well, let's go to the Bloogs, because that one is really, really interesting, and I really want to show you how innovative. Um if you like the Lemmings, this is a perfect game, and it has its own bag, and you're going to buy these games, and you're going to be able to play these games tabletop. I'm just going to show you the Bloogs just how it works, and how the table uh let's go to uh beautiful sound.
Uh we'll go to campaign, continue, and we'll just do the very first one. Okay, there we go. Play. Uh well, let's go to the forest, right? And we're going to start with the very first one. And our objective is to get five of the Bloogs to the end. Now, you're going to take these pieces, and it's going to tell you, "Well, for this level, you're going to need two staircases." So, you're going to take out the staircases, and you're going to try to figure out the problem.
[snorts]
Well, they're going to drop down here, so I'm going to want to put that right there. Now, okay? And then, they're going to need to get up there. Okay, so we're going to hit continue. Continue. And they're going to drop out, and they're going to start climbing. Well, maybe they didn't like what I did. Hold on. Hold on. Keep going. Oh, Bloogs will walk Okay, continue. Sorry. I thought I messed up. There's a little crystal there and you can see they're they're hopping up and and just having a a blast. Yes. All right, let's go. Come on.
And just this is just one of the innovative games that they have and there's all kinds of different stuff that you can do on this and as you can see they will keep on going. And then once they hit that wall well, I got to wait for this last one to go by. Yeah, that's right. All right. I've got to put some stairs there. But but I don't want to do it right away. I'm going to wait. There we go. Cuz I want to save everybody. And then I'm going to put one up here. There we go. And they're going to go through this portal and that's how you're going to win the level. And you could speed it up. Come on, guys.
I know I got this. There we go. Go bluegs, go. And there you go. Really neat neat little game. Now back here I'm in my library and you can see there's all kinds of different games. There's a snake game. There's a kind of like a hockey game with spaceships. Um a lot of old school arcade stuff. Um and right here, space rocks, which is well kind of little like asteroids but you're timed and it's really pretty cool. You're going to you're going to take out your little spaceship and we're just going to go co-op just to kind of show you. So I'm going to start the game and I'm going to put my ship right there.
Tada. All right. All right. Oops, I put it the wrong way. There we go. You got to make sure that you put it the right way. All right, and the uh select your ship, which I did. And place your ship in the beginning to begin the game. Okay, let's go. Start game. And you're going to be firing asteroids and moving this around. You want to collect those dots. There we go. Come on. Come on. Come on. And there's spaceships that show up and you got to get them. Come on. Come on.
Come on. There we go. Get all those I got to get all those dots. And then if you go in this area, you get like the super laser. All right, until it hangs around. Come on. You don't want to get hit. Come on. I'm better than this. There we go. Woo! More lasers. Well, that didn't last too long. Oh. What's that spaceship? There we go. Collect all those dots. More. Destroy everything. There we go. I bet you a guy's going to show up. Oh, here he comes. Come on. There we go. Time's up. Not a bad score, 3,000. Look at me.
Right? But so much just so many wonderful wonderful things to do on this. And it's an incredible system. And I'm going to show you some footage uh on the other side of this. Um you you have a game where you can have pets. I'll get to that. There's um a puzzle game. We're we're going to review all these games and we're going to tell you which ones are great and and there's going to be other videos on this tremendous things a spycraft. You're going from New York to Tokyo trying to solve solve a case. Um and there's so much stuff that they are going to be doing especially if we go back to the store. Uh board game sports is coming. Signal and switch in the fall. Stowaway which you got to find what's wrong wrong there. The magic shop. Uh ants go marching which is a tower defense game.
And community built things which we're going to talk on the other side of this video about what this incredible passion of a machine means. So we're going to talk more about this on the other side. Right now I I want to show you some footage of my family with this and it is not faked. It is not staged. I took a camera when they weren't looking and I filmed them over the last few days because that's all they want to do instead of watching TV and stuff. They want to play this thing and I want to show you the excitement of them playing this live. So uh let's go to that footage right now. Now this is actual footage. You know, me sneaking up on them with a camera and you could see that the adults are almost having as much fun as the kids are. Um they love this blooks game and they're trying to problem solve anything. Normally you couldn't even get them to in the same room together, you know, one to be doing homework or whatever and watching YouTube, you know, not that that's a bad thing. But they are just in love with this game. And this isn't staged footage. Um they are just problem solving together.
You I've got a five and seven-year-old there just enjoying and spending time together and what more could you want from such a fantastic board game? It sits so well on the tabletop and does a wonderful job. And they're just enjoying themselves. And now, this part they are at my mother-in-law's 81st birthday and all my grandkids are just having a wonderful time playing an arcade game being supervised. Everybody's laughing, having a wonderful time. And isn't that what it's all about? Just just so much fun and just enjoying themselves. Not staged, just plain old fun. What more could you want? I'm blown away and I'm a fan for life. And I'm going to tell you the reasons why.
Okay. Number one, one of the big things is that the passion that Brean, I hope I say her name correctly, has put into this. As the CEO to to put so much effort into this incredible board. This really blows away a lot of things. And one of the things that I'm very very impressed by, okay, is how they've made the open source for this. Okay, there is a source for this that oh, here it is. I wanted to make sure that I showed you this because I really did my research on this. And here's Brian and Seth. The two incredible people that have created this wonderful wonderful device that they're in charge of this.
But one of the things I wanted to talk about is Board Studio. And this is some of the promos that that I was able to find out. You as a consumer are going to be able to develop games for this. So, we have some incredible human beings out there in the world that have imagination and passion and love that that if they get behind this are going to be creating incredible games. As a matter of fact, one of them has already been created. It's called Pen Board. I'm going to be doing a video on that. It is a um community created board game that you can get for free and download on this thing. The machine comes with 64 gigs. It also comes with a micro SD slot that you can upgrade. When you have this type of passion and you can see it in the device and how perfect this device is. And you know, I didn't show you everything. The little screen comes off so you can even clean it. It's magnetically held in. Um every piece that goes onto this, it senses it with no problem. The ease and the accuracy of everything and the time and the passion that was put into this is amazing. And I am 100% behind this. I just recently picked up a bought a few more games for it and I can't wait for the sports game to come out, uh the tower defense game to come out and some of the stuff that they have coming in the fall. And you know, like I was
saying, people have the chance to develop more stuff for this. There's going to be amazing things out there. A huge library created by the community itself. Listen, this is incredible and I'm not telling you this um you know, because you know, because I I I was I was able to obtain this. I'm telling you this because of how my family reacted. I am telling you this because how we reacted, how my wife was interested. I try to pull a game off these shelves and try to get the family, you have to set it up. Then you have to explain everything. This takes all of that away. You plug it in, you you put the pieces on, you do a little tutorial, you don't have to explain everything, it's fun, and you are off and running with the family, okay? And it's it's for kids, it's for adults, every age, everyone. And if you saw, you know, like you saw, they were all intrigued by it. I don't think this is something that is, you know, because it's new, uh that that they're into it. They for the last week or so have done nothing but every night rearrange their schedules, so instead of watching TV or going their separate ways and doing certain things, they're all together at the table playing games. And they take a half hour
to an hour every night and utilize this. And that is the thing I think that shocked me the most. The only negative I have for this is storage, okay? Now, I've kept the box that it came in, which is very sturdy and it closes properly, just to keep it protected. I think at some point you you you need to have some kind of storage solution for it. That's the only thing I can say bad about this thing. This thing is beautiful. I added extra memory, like I said. The pieces, I've ordered extra games. I've I've I've invested in this because I believe in this. I really do, and you could see it in the quality and the passion that they put into it.
A lot of you have gone out and spent a ton of money for a Kickstarter. You can go out and spend $300 to $500 for a Kickstarter, and you'll play it once and it'll sit on your shelves, okay? Like all the stuff that sits on the shelves, okay? You can go out and buy this for a Kickstarter's price, okay? Get a bunch of games inside it, and you I guarantee you you and your family will get more use out of this than you ever will for for some dungeon crawl or some some one-time Kickstarter that you're not sure if it's going to be good or not. We are going to go over the all the games. We are going to do separate videos for that. I tell you these things, and I give you I tell you how I feel. I don't try to create an infomercial here. I try to tell you as honest as I can, and I am telling you I am 100% behind the board, and it's changed a lot of things how I go about doing stuff, and I'm really enjoying this. I think you will, too.
