Description

Roll Builder is a roll-and-write game of city building, discovery, and legacy.

Players take on the mantle of leadership over historical cities, presented through individual game sheets, while the players themselves only need to have pencils and two dice.

Each turn, the dice are rolled to provide strength to actions, including building networks of roads, placing buildings, and constructing great wonders of the world. Managing resources and forwarding each society through sheet-specific innovations give different paths to victory, whether each player plays the same sheet, or competes using different ones that have been carefully balanced.

Either local or online, alone or with a crowd, history awaits those who dare to build a legacy that will stand the test of time.
Roll Builder is a "living game", where additional cities and other content will be released for free, usually through the feedback and input of the community around it.

Quotes (from this video)
  • Walled City is criminally underrepresented in the gaming sphere.
  • It's a real gem, it's a nice small box.
  • Lanterns Harvest Festival is a standout for its tile-laying and color-mantling mechanisms.
  • If you like real-time games, Jab Real-Time Boxing is the best of the best.
  • Star Trek Alliance Dominion War Campaign is by far my personal favorite campaign-style game.
