Description
From the introduction:
Imprisoned by a now lost clan of dwarves, a malign gibbering mouther has begun to break free from its cell: its influence has attracted slimes, oozes and jellies to the dungeon, and has tainted the surrounding forest. Furthermore, a group of elves have been corrupted and enslaved by the blight and have taken one of the caves below as their lair.

- Straightforward and fun execution on zombies
- Nice components
- Really cool looking art
- Easy to recommend for a fun take that experience with friends
- Way to get back into the game after turning into a zombie
- Mindless but fun
- Evocative art
Cons
- Mostly tough cards that you just have to deal with (blight/death cards)
Thematic elements

Comparison games
- Odd ones out card game
Mechanics (from transcript analysis)
- Action Points — On your turn, you get three actions: draw a card, play a card, or use an action. It's also mentioned that you can 'exhaust untap a resource and play three cards or draw three cards'.
- Hand Management — Players have a hand of cards (attack, healing, equipment) and use actions to play them or draw more.
- Player elimination (with comeback mechanic) — Players turn into zombies when they reach a damage threshold. There is a way to get back in the game by becoming a zombie and then un-zombifying if you kill the last human.
- Set Collection (implied) — Players collect equipment cards for passive defense or triggered actions.
- Variable player powers — Each human character has a different ability, and also a zombie form with abilities that trigger when they turn.
