Beach Games To Play At The Beach
Transcript
Hello. So, today I'm here to talk to you about three beach-themed games that you can even play outside or near the water because all of the components are wooden and so nothing will get ruined. So, these are great for camping, a day at the lake, a day at the ocean, or if you're an indoor kid, playing indoors as well. So, first up we have a Seaside and it comes in this bag and it has all of these different wooden discs in it. You have your instructions and then you have a whole bunch of wooden discs. And basically, they all have different icons on them. Some are going to be white on the bottom, which means they can come to your beach and some of them are going to be blue, meaning they're going to go in the central ocean. And each of these um icons has a way that it interacts with other pieces. So, when you bring certain things onto your beach, you then get to take certain items from the ocean, which is great because at the end of the game you are going to stack up everything you've collected and whoever has the tallest stack is going to win.
Everything is double-sided as well. So, when you pull your one out of the bag, you get to look and decide which size side you want to keep for yourself, whether you want the ocean side that's going to go into the center or whether you want the beach side because maybe you have some effects you can activate. So, this one is great. Next up, we have a High Tide and this is a two-player abstract game where you are each going to be playing. You can bring it in just the bag if you want. You're each going to be playing as different colors. One of you will be pink, one of you will be blue, and then the neutral color, the yellow, out will be out there as well. So, you're going to have this initial setup and then you're moving pieces around in ways that the game allows you to and if you The game ends when there are no more possible moves that can be made and you're going to look from the top down and whoever has the most visible colors or tiles of theirs, they are going to win that round, and whoever wins three rounds is the winner of the game. So, High Tide is a lot of fun. It's one of those you set up, and you're like, "This is so easy. What's going on?" And then you start playing, and you're like, "Oh, yeah, there's some depth to this. This is a little bit thinkier than I thought." And then finally, we have Coral, and Coral is a game where you are going to be building your coral pieces around a central piece, which is this, and then you have your cute little icons, and all of your coral pieces are shaped
in a certain way. You can even play this one solo, and you are going to be building around based on placement rules. And again, you are then going to, when you're finished, look from the top down, and whoever has the most visible icons, it doesn't matter what level they're on, cuz this is going to build up and out, is going to be the winner. So, this one is a great time as well, kind of abstracty, and does play solo. So, those are three great beach-themed games that you can even play outside because the components are wooden. What would you add to this list? Let me know. Give me a like and a follow, and I'll keep bringing you more board game content. Thanks. Bye.
