Tom's Boring Unboxing Video - September 16, 2025

Hello everybody, I'm Tom Bassel. Welcome to the most boring unboxing in the world as we open up stuff that comes into the Dice Tower and we see what forgot that part where I said was un boring. This is DC Superheroes United. Batman, Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Robin. I think Poison Ivy's on here somewhere, right?

Joker hush himself. I guess Poison Ivy's not in this game, but controlled Superman. I don't want to play against controlled Superman. He's going to whoop up on us. Well, this box, I think I'm going to open. Glad that the uh deliverers didn't do that. I've heard of this one. This is called I made you a mixtape.

It's from designed by Mike Delisio and Dan Hughes. for some Kickstarter exclusive cards. I love tape recorders. Another smaller box. See what we got here. Know some people are interested in this one. Chroma Arcana from Rock Nest Games. Build your deck. Charge your spells. Obliterate your rivals. Well, this one has been uh taken by the customs.

They wanted to know what games we're playing here today, sir. Hope they enjoyed it. Ah, it's an expansion for Federation Piracy. New asymmetrical. Oh, asymmetrical. Ah, I heard asymmetrical. That's exciting. All right. This one's like all all taped up and beat up. Good thing they taped it cuz definitely got thrown around by Oh, I know what this one is.

I think it's the pirate the the pirate republic Africa Gambit. Woo. Well, like I said, always glad when things are packed well. Oh, wow. This box is super heavy. Sal's most famous pirate captains of the golden age. A Hoy Hardies. It's from Green Feet Games. Also, some poker chip type stuff. Maybe that's why it's so heavy.

All right. Okay. Well, let's see how this one looks. I've heard a lot about this one actually. Ether Stone. This is the Luchiani two to four player game. Huh. Well, hope it's good. Thunderfraph. All right, let's take a look here. Let's see what we got. All right, we got several things here. First of all, Racehorse Alliance competitive game.

I don't know anything about it, but I want to play it. Then, Mycelia. I already reviewed a game called Myelia, but this is a different mushroom game from Burnt Island Games. And then Whirly Derby. Oh, this one's fun. Alrighty, we have a box here. It has the Ver tape on it, but I don't think it's a box from Dver, which would make this box a liar.

But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it is Deve stuff. No, it's Detectives Verse Criminals from a company called Damn Things Game Studio. Okay. All right. A small box here or smallish. We have Mr. Post mouse's picnic. to over the invitations inside. I'm assuming this is a sort of a kids game. All right, then we have Oh no, we crashed.

I do like the name of that one. Repair your ship before oxygen runs out. Another co-op game. Now we definitely have some sort of mega box. This is a Kickstarter. What Kickstarter could it be? Well, as we are seeing these days, it's a box in a box, system control, and resources. But for what game? I'm gonna assume it's War for New Eden because that's what it says on the side of the box.

Oh man, these games get bigger and bigger it seems. This is probably a single box. Come on. Out you come. Yep. A single box. Remember there was a time this would have been super exciting. Oh, it does look really cool though. some sort of Forex Space game where they lie and say 90 to 150 minutes and maybe they're not lying.

But I think it would take that long just to set the game up. We'll see. I hope it's good. All right, this one's very light, so I'm assuming there's just one small game in here. All right, from Portal Niroshima Hex Battle Steel Police versus Beasts. Is this like a two-player? Is this compatible? Yeah, it is.
