go there we go that was that was fraught is what that was let me click on this box and this one right here OBS uh unexpectedly shut down as soon as I started the stream initially and then I had they it was a bunch of things so anyway here we are I need more coffee I hope you're all doing well hope you having a good morning afternoon evening or the next morning I don't know on what time it is in your neck of the woods hope things are going well uh let's see here before it even begins thank you Uncle Adam for creating this game with Vince I'm interested in knowing what type of necromancer you like and if you have a particular type of Minion you feel drawn towards um I've got a lot of skeletons I like skeletons as far as the type of um Necromancer I think that honestly I I do want to try building like a really cool War Reaper at some point but we will see excuse me cheddar Goblin says you had me a death wizard well there you go bought the PDF yesterday Keen to know more about suggestions for building a war Reaper and spirit collar and other four types looks like a great game absolutely uh thank you for purchase I appreciate that good morning from Gilbert Arizona still building my archon Desair Kickstarter nice beautiful Sunday all it's gray here it's going to rain and we have a
birthday party/ picnic to go to so that's going to be a thing I think there's going be a lot of uh indoor time and garage time while we're over there um so uh but I hope that that your Sunday is good where you are let's see here unless it's a Monday then I hope it's good where you are warning from Ola Kansas how you doing howdy and good morning from wet and stormy Jonesboro in Southern Illinois sure this game looks like a lot of fun I know that my next project will be finally I can use some of these awesome stls I've been hoarding just finished my rain and Hell minis about to try it nice good to hear warning from Rhode Island got my copy of death Wizards Friday love the premise of the game I'll be trying it out this week using my heroquest minis this proxy nice I could definitely see some benefits in doing that that's pretty easy hello from a wet Edinburgh Scotland I have white dwarf to build and a zombie dragon to paint on my hobby desk today nice sounds like you got your day planned for you that's pretty cool uh I should give it a go with black plague minis oh from zombicide Black Plague yep they could work pretty well for that I think really enjoy the mini agnostic aspect of these games such a great idea well I'm glad to hear it I mean for the most part it's basically what we're focusing on because it's a lot of fun um and it just allows you to do whatever you want with your Miniatures and also use Miniatures you might already have so you don't have to go out and buy new ones if you don't want to morning from a cool and damp KCMO eagerly awaiting my copy of death Wizards and cards nice I appreciate that sarcastic um let's see very wet Ireland I have a necromancer from Desir that
will fit nicely nice oops everything moved uh there we go what's a Seth wizard five that's not what that says um good morning from Sunny Virginia you have an interesting take on game design I like well good to hear Rod I appreciate that uh greetings from Temple Patrick Northern Ireland congratulations on the new game I appreciate that yeah um so far it's doing pretty well I think that we hit platinum in the first 24 hours I think I wasn't paying super close attention because I was asleep when the when the when the first 24 hours ended which would have been 2:00 in the morning on Saturday morning um I think I hear a bomber outside um but yeah it's uh it's doing okay it's selling better than Majestic 13 um which we knew going into it Majestic 13 wasn't going to be everybody's cup of tea because it's about like UFOs and you know stuff like that um so yeah so that's good I'm glad to hear it um already two wet Berlin Germany yeah must be raing a lot all over used to be a video game called dungeon master in which he defeated the heroes by populating the forementioned dungeon with monsters that was a bit of a inspiration to be perfectly Frank with you dungeon keepers is probably one and and I never played dungeon keepers I knew of it I think I watched a guy play at one time in a land party for a while
but I remember seeing you know stuff about it I can't tell you whether or not Vince played it or not but both of us were familiar with the concept and that was a bit of an inspiration to us as to kind of what we were doing as far as the whole idea of like basically you're the Baddie and you know the the bad guys in the game are actually the good guys and stuff like that so JP got Rockets how you doing as well um morning from Cloudy Milwaukee yeah it was it was lovely Milwaukee yesterday I was in Milwaukee yesterday because I was invited to go look at or take a tour of the new um well of the place that adepticon is going to be moving to so it was me and a whole bunch of people and we were walking around looking at the just massive space it's just it's so big like we walked into an expo hall at one point which was bigger than the big main expo hall at adepticon if You' ever been to adepticon um the biggest Hall at adepticon the middle of it is the um vendor area so they can shut off with those kind of air dam walls that they pull out of the you know walls they can shut that off during the night so that nobody goes in there and touches all the stuff and then so the middle part's um that but the one side is 40k and BattleTech and stuff like that and the other side is basically all asmo day so Star Wars Marvel Etc and that's the biggest kind of big main hall this Hall that we walked into was bigger than that Hall and it was one of either four four
or five identical or near identical Halls so like while we were there walking around there was an MMA fight going on and there was also a Curiosities and Oddities uh Expo going on and we still walked through several empty big giant Halls so yeah there's there's going to be plenty of space it's going to be great um so yeah I'll be making some video content about that at some point down the road I think it's going to be very interesting so yeah uh and like I said it was lovely yesterday so I drove down there in the morning and we walked around a bunch and stuff and and and then looked at things and then and then I went to the Curiosities in um Oddities Expo it was very cool um there was someone there was a a man in a booth and um and he knew who I was and he was like I was trying to talk to you at adepticon but every time I'd walk by the Army painter Booth it was swamped and so we got to have a lovely chat and um and then I was going to buy some stickers and he gave me the stickers instead which was very nice I bought a lot of stickers while I was there speaking of which
um like this is a pretty cool sticker um this one's pretty cool uh that was kind of neat um but yeah so um beast W shirts stickers and stuff beast.com I know if you can uh rack like a w yeah but that was they were they were very nice and um and then I bought a bunch of other stickers and uh um got Moth Man for president and uh gam you know lots of stuff it was cool bought a couple of t-shirts as well um let's see here pocket Dimension how you doing Farmington Hills Michigan can't wait to get my order in for the rule book and the card deck nice fghaz how you doing from DC uh fond memories of Dungeon Keeper I'm all over giving Heroes a good kicking yeah I think that was a big po portion of it honestly um nerd bunker in Sunny hop Hopkinton Massachusetts nice morning from mid Michigan howdy VJ morph how you doing good morning from Cincinnati Ohio how you doing Fist and stone good morning from Boston gorgeous day today perfect priming weather yeah that was the one thing about yesterday yester that I missed is I probably could have primed some stuff but I didn't really have I didn't really have anything like

or were they like like why did you only use GW Undead and it was because that's what I had painted um this game was a real fight to the Finish Line um we uploaded it on May 1st and then a couple days later that was like a Wednesday and on Saturday they're like okay you can order a proof now so we ordered a proof which really should have had it with me here in the room I don't know where I've put it anyway um so we ordered the proof the proof came incredibly quickly like five days the stuff never comes that quick from those guys I find so um it looked great everything was fine but we found a an error on page 21 there was a chart that showed all of the uh Undead minions and the chart showed that there were 18 but if you then started going through and reading the listings after the chart of all the stats and the special abilities and stuff like that it showed that they were 19 because the chart didn't have ghost in it it had gas but then it was supposed to have ghost and it didn't have ghost so we basically just updated the chart re-uploaded it and then you have to order another proof and all that kind of stuff um we ordered that proof I think on the 16th we still don't have it yet I don't I yeah it still hasn't even shipped so I don't know what's going on now at this point so the problem was that we had to reach out to our rep and be like we need
you to manually turn it on so that we can sell it on the 24th and he's like well but you know you don't have a proof and I'm like well we do we just changed one thing on one page and then re-uploaded it we touched nothing else so we know that the print quality looks good the density is all that kind of stuff like when we first did rain in hell I wasn't aware of like if you lighten things too much they disappear kind of situation on certain parts of the print and so now I'm very cognizant of that and everything um 133% is too little and 18% is just fine so all these things it's the experience of doing it now um anyway long story short is um yeah is I I got those three videos that I did the one that's my video uh that you know launched on Friday and then of course the what is video and the turn sequence video basically from about Sunday afternoon until I think Wednesday because then I had to go to a trade show in Madison Wisconsin I so I got those three videos done very quickly and so yeah as it turned out I ended up using a lot of Games Workshop skeletons and things like that because that's what I had painted so but you can use whatever you want Frost grape stuff other kinds of stuff actually I just got a package recently from War Games Atlantic and they have these foot nights 1150 to 1320 which I definitely want to do some kit bashing and messing around with these guys are pretty cool I was looking
at the spru yesterday and then they also sent me classic fantasy SC uh U skeleton Cavalry and chariots so I don't know how well these would work because there's no chariots and death Wizards and there's really not any skeleton calave there's skeleton archers but there's also in the back it looks like I think that there's just regular little skeletons you can make that are not on horses but I don't know if you want skeleton horses otherwise I know they make regular skeletons too so um and I had reached out because I wanted them to send me this this is um uh this quars war Clash of rifles which I've been interested in for years and then now it's finally in plastic so that's also good but that box showed up while I was at the trade show although it might I think that's right yeah um want to build mechanized automatons sure uh good morning from Alexandria super sto for death Wizards well that's good to hear good day hello from Sunny Toronto assembling the sisters combat Patrol bought the old one before it disappears I I like the old one but I just it was those they're so small and I was like looking at them I'm like that'd be kind of cool and they started looking at how much detail they have and I'm like so good luck with that I'm hoping it it turns out well I just think it's for me it would have taken a really long time I think loving death Wizards it has that
70s to 80s Vibe missing from a lot of modern fantasy I needed a van or a t-shirt which is easier yeah well we'll probably do we will do t-shirts I don't think we will do vans but um we will definitely do t-shirts good day from sou sunny Southern Oregon how you doing uh evening all from Perth order death already nice just woke up good day from Cuda I don't know what a Cuda is uh are you going to make a Sci-Fi version of the game no I don't think so I mean we do have a game called um uh we have a game called space station zero which is a Sci-Fi game it's pretty cool you are a small crew of um whatever you want on any kind of sci-fi thing uh and you are trying to just go from point A to point B via FTL faster than light and something happens and it doesn't work and you don't get there and instead you end up in this area of space where there's like literally nothing there's nothing around except for one giant honken space station otherwise there's nothing else around and then you get hailed by the space station you land there and then you you know explore the space station so every mission is going from like one section of the space station to another and there are automated defenses and there are mutants and there are robits and there's all kinds of stuff and whatever and you can have all kinds of different types of Crews there's medical crew that you can your ship could be a medical ship could be a shipping ship it could be um a warship it could be a pirate ship
there's all kinds of different things so um if you're interested in sci-fi space station zero has been available since 2022 and it's 120ish Pages 120 24 something like that and it's 18 bucks shipping same as H this book and it's pretty cool and it's got awesome artwork by Will Kirkby who is amazing so we got that going on for us as well which is nice there we go death Wizards uh main screen there we go let's see where was I um excited for death Wizards already Ming in Minneapolis um been painting up my brettonian themed lion rampant Army and Skelly opponents should be enough models to try your new game absolutely um whoops everything scrolled um marshes of Chesapeake Bay um let's see here this game has given the flop of cursed cities minis a new life I don't know if cursed cities was a flop it it was fraught with problems to some degree in that like it came out and then disappeared you know you know what I mean um putting together some soldiers for frost grave this morning looking forward to give death wizard try tons of Undead Minis on the Shelf when you be popped in nice my hobby today is to pack my entire
dorm room to move into my first apartment well I mean that sounds kind of fun right um let's see here it moved again dang it come on um I just saw something that I was about to read dang it no uh Depon no no uh Frost grave um oh I just want to thank you for getting me into miniature war games I'm not a new gamer by any means but now I'm back and playing bolt action and trench Crusade making an army to accommodate both well cool nice I'm glad to hear that Red Rock uh congrats on the launch love the continued emphasis on solo and Co-op I mean that's basically genuinely our plan um the only games that probably won't be solo and Co-op will be the games in snarl because snarl when we do that Zen it is really all about trying to make the games as as as short as possible to some degree as far as page you know we're looking at page count like very strongly with with those um with those zenes and when you have to add in Ai and uh like all that kind of stuff it just adds more stuff to the book or to the game and so that's why tanks for the apocalypse didn't have like a solo component or anything like that um and very probably the next uh issue of snarl which we've started to work on it also will not um be like that I don't
think uh hello from Tuscany building a real stone wall while listening wow picked up death Wizards as soon as the video dropped thinking about using some West filia minis oh yeah I picked up some West filia minis at um adepticon this year that looking forward to painting morning from Rhode Island just introduced a friend to a few of your games yesterday and we decided death wizard sounds like it would be a fun next game I'm glad to hear that I I think that people are going to dig it hard copies of Death Wizards a TMX unfortunately no there will not be any hard copies at TMX because we haven't like it literally like it everything at the end all that kind of happened at once we will have raen hell will have uh Majestic 13 I think that we will have some space station zero because I think Vince is going to bring some in his luggage uh from home but right now because we sold out of space station zero at just our little you know box of stuff to take to conventions we sold out of it at Adept con so yeah so there will unfortunately not be any uh hard copies of Death Wizards at TMX we will have one to show like you can take a look at it and stuff like that but there won't be one there unfortunately um which was the plan plan kind of all along but because everything kind of went squirely sort towards the end there it didn't yeah work out we are um we already had a talk about this Vince and I during I think our last meeting and we were like we want to make it so that
next year that and this is you know it's going to take a little bit of work maybe but we would like it so that instead of having the game upload on like let say May 1st with trying to get it launched at you know May 24 or whatever we would like to upload the game before adepticon so that we have plenty of space in there a lot more wiggle room partially because you know like part of the issue with this year was because I I went to Denmark so that took like five six days out of the middle of you know that and then so yeah it it just scheduling this year was screwy unfortunately so we want to try to plan ahead on that just in case you know life throws you a curve again and we just need to be better about that we learn something every single time we make a game so that's kind of helpful uh I've been trying out some of your speed paint tips with my projects do you use washes and dry brushes with them as well I've been experimenting with that and would love some tips yeah like once they dry you know i' throwing some washes over the top of them doing some dry brushing over the top of them those are things I do on all of my projects and especially stuff when it's got speed paint nice of you to point some folks over to knuckle bones well we worked with Maddie on the ideas we basically said look we want you to you know we wanted to partner with them because we like the knuckle bones uh models so we said look what if you did just six models that were just the six different necromancers and he's like okay that sounds cool so um we sent him a little bit of Martin's art and otherwise we
just basically sent him text and then we did not go back you know he didn't go like come up with the concept and then we came back and went well can you make that pouch longer can you make his face more Necromancer like none of that stuff basically he would send his pictures and there I don't think there was a single time where we went hey can you change that he would just send us like renders and we'd be like yep and so we've never done Miniatures like this before at all and so we really wanted to do it in a way that was frankly as low impact on us as possible since we were also going to be launching the game at the same time and so we just thought if we find somebody whose stuff we trust a lot when their their their their Design Concepts and what we've of their stuff in the past we can just kind of say here you go and again because it's a miniature agnostic game that doesn't mean you have to use any of these models you could use other models that um knuckle bones produces or you could use models from other companies or you could use models from that you find at the store or you could sculpt your own stuff or whatever so it's not as rigid as saying these are the six necromancers and you better like them it's you know because there are people out there I'm sure that don't like knuckle bones Miniatures there are people out there that don't like Games Workshop Miniatures I like I mean there's a huge gamut of space in between there so um personal preference is personal preference you know so anyway nonetheless um I was happy with the way they turned out he said as he clicked on the website button and then went over here and then scrolled down so if you haven't seen um yep there's Necromancer
Miniatures from knuckle bones Miniatures these are stls you'd look at them and you might go oh okay so those are you know like hand sculpted and then cast and resin and then you buy no these are the thing that's so cool about the way that knuckle bones does their Miniatures that Maddie does the Miniatures is he sculpts them in VR he puts on like uh goggles I'm assuming and then he has the things the sticks or whatever and then he does the majority of the sculpting in VR um he has mentioned he goes back and tightens things up here and there in and I don't remember if he said zbrush or blender I forget which but he does go back in and tighten up but the majority of the sculpting is done in VR which is what makes them look kind of hand sculpted because they are literally like you know hand sculpt with the with the um the headset and everything like that so um yeah if you're if you think these are even kind of cool you should take a look at the other stuff that he does because he's got a lot of really cool stuff out there um but I unfortunately like these are pictures that he uh sent uh he and his partner his wife I think um I have these printed but I haven't had the chance to get they're glued on bases but they're not textured yet on the bases and I haven't had a chance to Prime them so I will be painting some of these probably on Twitch at some point um but yeah also if you don't have a 3D printer you can also order from only games there's a link down at the bottom of each one of these there's my manufactory and then only games and you can go from there um basically we are like splitting like the you know the
profits and such like that on this for like a couple of years and then basically they'll be you know that's part of the contract is then they'll just be totally his which is fine but um yeah we we enjoyed working with him on this and you know we want to see you know working with other I think that like depending on what the next game is we have ideas what the next game is um this fit his aesthetic the next game may not so then maybe we find somebody else or maybe we don't do models again next year it depends on how how uh everything works out so anyway that's fun poke all right uh next game is robot squirrels right no it is not just placed my order this morning for the book and cards well that's very nice I appreciate that good day South ont Ontario checking in still plugging way on too many projects I mean that's that's that's many of
us I think the I think the B17 is up flying around right now there is a organization here in town called the Experimental Aircraft Association and they keep a B7 flying and they fly around the country for different events and stuff like that you can you can pay to to ride on it and everything like that and I think it's uh running up the engines this this morning flying around town so I keep hearing it out the window really looking forward to getting my copy of death Wizards nice building a fighting pit arena for more time but it can totally be used to recruit good soldiers for death Wizards yeah absolutely from Mak Georgia how you doing um it's already 90 de down here in harling looks like we're heading to Triple digit again well that doesn't sound like fun to me because I'm not a big fan of being too hot so it's 62 degrees here and damp probably going to rain um Rockton Illinois working on new mCP models and then planning to make more progress on my worthy entry for adepticon 2025 nice literally started raining here in Yorkshire die hard man just do some new some cool Undead minis for this yes yes Die Hard oh yeah yeah yeah okay yeah I can I can picture the logo in my head now yeah I know I know who you're talking about um hello from Paraguay how you doing hello from New York ordered all the death on day one looking forward to crafting a necromancer nice looking forward to having a death Wizards duel I cast itchy
bones I cast power W scrunch I mean itchy bones is a fun that's a fun idea but I don't think we have itchy bones in the game do we I don't think so uh have you guys considered a game based around a similar concept concept is Hellboy or SCP where you have pseudo mundane organizations fighting the Paranormal I mean Majestic 13 was like not the Paranormal but fighting aliens it's sort of you know but no and we haven't really thought about that exactly I'm only vaguely like I know Hellboy I'm a I'm a fan of Hellboy uh you know we've got a lot of the early comics and stuff like that in like more trade paperback sort of situation we've got the you know got the art of book somewhere around here um that kind of stuff uh I saw the first movie and the second movie first movie was really good second movie was and then the new movie with what's his name David Harbor he's the guy that plays Coupe on Stranger Things uh I like him as an actor I've not watched that movie I just I I don't know we'll see but um I don't really know much about SCP I have a general vague kind of idea that it's a bit of a creepy pasta thing right but I don't really know much else about it I feel like the Skirmish PVP mode in death Wizards feels more thematically right than the last two games their strong points were definitely campaign mode this game is equally strong both ways um yeah I mean thematically that's you're probably right because on in Majestic 13 we were just basically
calling it when you played against team on team we were basically just calling it like military exercises uh and in space station zero I guess I mean if you're a bunch of survivors you could get into a fight over you know resources and things like that too but yeah in this situation necromancers fighting other necromancers seems like you know it's on it's on point um dungeon keepers was a hoot there's a board game take on it called keep the heroes out with some adorable meeples I've not heard of that game well death Wizards gives me the Vibes of the techmo COI PSP game Undead nights H I've never heard of that game I had a PSP Playstation Portable right yeah I had the PSP uh good afternoon from Ireland bought the PDF this morning any chance of a version with a just a plain white background to make it easier to print at home um I don't know that's a good question we would have to go through and do a bunch of work um James S how you doing is there a good hallway for morheim hallway I don't know what you mean by that we had our Friday night gas lands and dog yummy hot dogs uh but awful luck in a game well you know but you got the hot dogs though that's pretty good I kind of want some hot dogs next time you're in Milwaukee stop and check out the new store old guarden East Side I wanted to uh I've been told about it some of the guys that were at the walkthrough thing had stopped at Old Guard first
um and my thought was like I'll try to stop on the way out of town but I stayed at the Curiosities and Oddities xell a lot longer than I thought I was going to it was quite large I did not take any Taxidermy classes though so there was that um gam is really neat he is filled with taco meat it's true um death wizard just purchased I appreciate that how you doing VJ morph Beast W stuff is awesome I have a couple shirts and stickers from them I have a gyon shirt and anot motohead mash up oh yeah I think I Master of the Universe uh motohead yeah yeah yeah I saw that shirt actually good morning from Toledo Ohio how you doing going to use my Rangers of Shadow deep minis to play Death Wizards looking forward to flipping the script and hunting down my heroes and villagers using the bad guys yeah I mean that's that's kind of the general idea is that it's you know it's the flip the script thing you know but yeah models that could be used in uh Rangers of Shadow deep which are basically standard kind of fantasy tropes would also work very well I mean that's the whole point in my opinion of games like this um you know when you make a miniature agnostic game like I really love the artwork for trench Crusade and I like the rules quite a bit too but the hard part is going to be looking at that artwork that they have in there for everything and trying to make
something that looks even close for me at least so it's not that the game's not miniature agnostic it totally is but when they give you a really good piece of artwork for everything like this is what these things look like and this is what these things look like then in my head if I don't make it look like that or even close to that am I even doing it right you know what I mean so yeah um that's kind of the hard part whereas with us we wanted to just be like kind of keep it a little bit more open it's always it was it was very open in um Majestic 13 it was very open in um space station zero you're just like a group of aliens who are doing a thing you're Medical Science whatever you know there's all many different ways to to kind of um to tweak that and make it work your own way um I do want to try to do some stuff for trench Crusade but I can also see myself waiting until they eventually put out stls because if they make the stls sculpts half as good as the artwork they'll be pretty cool so I don't know that's um that is the one downside I think sometimes to getting real specific and making your artwork so good that people are like yeah but I want that model how do I get that model and it becomes difficult could just be me being a little fussy I don't have OCD I don't believe but I do sometimes get a little fussy about certain things so let's just say that um happy Sunday Uncle Adam from a torrentially rainy Willoughby on the words well I the torrential rain is bad Dungeon Keeper reminds me of my failed attempts at PC gaming looking at you vampire the Masquerade bloodlines now
Total War 3 tempts me oh gotcha there goes Margo um let's see here got a bunch of hot wheels for 96 cents each nice hello from early summer Sweden how you doing there's a cool board game called dungeon Lords it's the exact same premise build your lir and defend against the heroes from uh from town there's a there's a a a part of this game where there are times when the villagers come to attack you but it is not a how much trying to say this it's not a game you play It's almost like a mini game there's like you do some rolles and then you know post so it's in the post game process right so like in between games every once in a while you roll and you find out oh the villagers are getting up and they're going to come up and and try to mess with me and then you don't play that scenario you kind of roll to see what the results are it's kind of like in um oh what was that game it was a mobile game for fallout Fallout Shelter is so what it's called called I think so where you would just send people off and then they would come back and then you would find out oh well they found some cool stuff or oh two of them died but they also found some cool stuff or everybody died and they didn't come back that kind of thing it's not something that you experience as it's happening it's like a thing that's kind of going on outside of the realm so that's kind of fun uh also love the art and the new new book definitely great inspiration for kid passion keep up the great
work Martin and Sam did amazing work so Martin I've seen his stuff for a good good long time and uh I've been following on Instagram for a good long time and the most recent things I saw him doing he was I think where we were at Nova in DC back in last late August early September of 2023 and he I think he was there or was he there even the year before I don't remember exactly now no it was this year because it was at the new location yeah yeah anyway it was the new location so it was downtown DC at the Washington Hilton and he was there with a company he's doing the artwork for a game I think it's a role playing game maybe it's a miniature game but I think it's a role playing game called I think it's called mosar so it's m o SS c a i r n e I'm not good at spelling um I think it's mosar and you've got like animals but they've got like swords and Shields and armor and stuff like that like badgers and foxes and things like that and I saw the artwork I'm like that's really cool but I was like you know um I was kind of keeping his name in my brain's back pocket I don't know if that makes any sense and when we decided to do this game about you know necromancers and and and skeletons and all kinds of crap like that I was like I got to reach out to him so yeah and then Sam you know he kind of leans into that
stuff in most situations anyway and so I knew that working with him would be also a ton of fun um I have to get him back his uh I have to get him back his art it's all here in this drawer because he just basically gave me a big old folder full of stuff and then um I scanned it but I got to get it back to him I will bring it back to T I will bring it to TMX because he'll be there next week teaching classes um let's see here um the pain is indead indeed Dental but manageable mostly don't have to eat solid food well I mean ice cream I don't know if that's a good if that's a good thing or a bad thing uh little slow to the party but death Wizards purchased this morning nice I appreciate that M here just played our first game of death Wizards we had a blast awesome game well good to hear deep Joe's absolutely OBS always wants to do an update when I open it yeah yeah didn't it didn't say that this time but yeah and then it won't do the update until I dump and reload at OBS Bo eager to make Skellington's team but I'm also eager to make ghosty hord too see ghosts will be a lot of fun to paint because they'll be super fast um uh Phil the glacial geek on YouTube he did a uh really good video about because we were talking about the game a little bit when we were in Denmark and and then he was like Hey I want to make a video and kind of like
you know and I want to paint some stuff so I gave gave him a couple of pages from the book or whatever when we got to that point and said here's how you can do these things and so he made a video recently about the war band that he did and he was talking about the different ways he was painting it he painted ghosts in there and he used a color that I wouldn't have thought of but it's a speed paint like seafoam pastel but over like a white prime it worked really really well so um if you want like really bright kind of like greenish ghosts it it worked really cool so you should watch his video if you get the chance uh Uncle Adam and minions from Sunny Ontario good morning how you doing congrats on the new game release for you and Vince and credited artists painting up a ghost Keel this morning and doing Barn repairs later today well for one of those things sounds fun one of those things founds slightly less fun it's the barn repairs they don't s they don't sound like fun to me but maybe you enjoy that kind of thing sounds like you checked the cards quite thoroughly when I asked Vince yes that is literally how we determined that we had screwed up the chart because uh I had taken because he's like because we were we were on a call and he's like all right he's like counts the chart he's like there's 18 monsters and then we started going through looking at all the monsters in the PDF and then I'm like and then we got to 19 Monsters and he's like we must have you must have duplicated one and we went back and I didn't duplicate one and so we're like trying to figure out why the chart says there's 18 monsters and then the cards say there's 19 monsters and it turns out it's because when I was doing the cards I was following the stats the stat blocks that come after
after the chart of which there were 19 because the chart was missing one and that's when we realized that the chart was missing one and then had to do a new thing um so there's that why come on how do I I've popped up a box here in the chat and I can't make it go away every time I click on it it just comes up someplace else there we okay good okay Jes Reaper makes some good Undead or great Undead you no one expects the OBS shut down um Columbus Ohio how you doing working on my first painting Commission of World War II Marines some of my one of my high school students nice ordered my copy of death wies yesterday also grabbed physical prints of the necromancers that partnership was a great idea I got to order a pile more from that studio yeah I've I bought a bunch of stuff from uh knucklebones later part of last year um a bunch of stuff through only games and I think I o just picked up a bunch of stls as well so they're yeah it's great stuff full moon at midnight here in Sydney the undead are stirring well I suppose bad guys are the best guys indeed will Uncle Adam try Adam Paints the first I ever heard of them was at adepticon I had no idea where they came from or who makes them I just remember seeing them and going hey that's my name was looking at minis yesterday used for this game nice congrats and the new game release
looks great spending the day finally uh painting up my blackout stuff I'm looking forward to doing that myself finally able to catch the live stream how you doing quar indeed I'm way behind holy crap um there are some AG sigar nurgle Minis that would work really well is fleshy Undead yeah yeah for sure got your Clash rifles did I did um still pining for those War Games Atlantic Lizardman so I can resurrect Strike Team Alpha in 28 mm the the Lizardman are awesome because like they come with like Spears and Shields and swords and stuff like that but they also come with gas mask heads and uh sort of uh AK-47s they're just they're just a lot of fun lot of a lot of details in the sisters but I'm in no hurry gotcha next version of the game should allow Beasts for all the uh screwed Beast of chaos players I mean you know so now you have skeleton chariots but no use for them Undead racing confirm next I mean I could use them for something but they just won't really work in um you know death Wizards according from the Bronx working on Old Hammer snotling Pump wagon nice oh dear everything moved
um there we go Clash of rifles wizardman uh let's see here cheers from Poland can't wait for the to get the death Wizard's book I have loads of basic skeletons and zombies need to paint up some other Undead dudes absolutely was the premise for the game more of you or Vince I know you've said each game's initial idea usually birthed by one of you and then over the time you've kind of alternated this was a me idea um so rain in hell was an idea that I came to Vince with initially before we started the company and I was like hey can we make this into a game and then space station zero was Vince's idea he was he had had space station zero in his mind as a RPG for like a decade Majestic 13 was my idea uh because I am tangent sort of vaguely interested in UFO type stuff and things like that so that was kind of my jam death Wizards was my idea because I just thought it' be really cool to have a game about necromancers and kind of flip the script against you you play the bad guys versus the good guys and good guys act as the bad guys that sort of situation and I like the name like I came up with a name I do that a lot very frequently I will come up with a name and then figure out how to make a game for it or sometimes it they happen at the same time every once in a while I come up with a concept for a game and then come up with a name afterwards but it's honestly sort of rare um like Majestic 13 literally came from me being like there is this conspiracy
theory out there amongst UFO people about this group that allegedly Truman started in 47 or 48 I think and it was called Majestic 12 you can do a Wikipedia search and look up Majestic 12 and they'll tell you all the people that were allegedly in this group and all this kind real real you know real actual people um and I remember thinking to myself one day when I was doing something I'm like 12 is a dumb number because you're going to get split votes because it's an even number it should have been an odd number and then I was like Majestic 13 and then I was like just just had had a Vibe and I was like oh and then kind of went from there so yeah death Wizards I cannot remember whether I came up with like I want to make a game about necrom answers and then came with the name or if the name came first I'm not sure but yeah it's been in my phone for quite some time a good long time along with a whole bunch of other things as well the game for for the next issue of snarl basically I was like we had a meeting and I just like threw out like four different ideas and then the next week we got together again Vince had grabbed on to honestly the one that I think that was the least of an actual idea and he grabbed on to that one is like okay this is what what's the next one's going to be and then they started flushing it out and I'm like cool so space station zero gets all the thumbs up nice what minis would you recommend for space station zero there is a blog post here um that's not the button I want to push that's the button I want to push there's a blog post uh if you go to news

nice good afternoon from Athens gree howdy I shouldn't need to buy any any more minis once again there you go I want a necromancer with a scthe I found the death dealer but it is metal it's a rough life yeah yeah I have some 80s era GW heroquest hero Zed henchmen that I think would be fun to run against GW skeletons oh absolutely fantastic death Wizards has been well received and selling well congrats to all involved well thank you I appreciate that Grandpa barbecue or gamecat any tips on opening a gaming business I'm creating one solo right now besides design I am not sure what steps to take being a legit business you mean like a game company like that makes games or do you mean a game store if you want to become a game company that makes games or a game designer that makes games my best piece of advice is always start by building a following you need to build an audience um before you design anything start making like blog posts videos podcasts something out there talking about gaming talking about you know whatever not necessarily talking about your game but you need to build you need a group of people to be able to talk to about your game if you build a game and put it out there and nobody knows about it it's a tree falling in the wood situation right so instead what you need to do is you need to um in my opinion start to build an audience and then start working on your game once you've got a bit of an audience because that helps because if they like what you're saying about whatever it is that you're talking about that is related to gaming don't build an
audience about raising aquarium fish and then decide hey you guys want to play my game about skeletons no that's not going you know what I mean but build an audience of people who are interested in tabletop gaming and of the type that you're interested in making games for and then eventually you can be like hey that was not our plan uh when both of us started our channels we weren't like hey what we'll do is we'll build uh YouTube channels for nearly a decade each and then start launching games that wasn't never the plan um but it did work well because we had done that so that's why I tell people you want to try to build an audience
um what are the dimensions of the houses used for terrain and death Wizards I have a bunch of 28 mm scale houses that are actually scaled to be realistically sized but that seems too big I think it's in the rules about the size of houses I don't have like I said I don't have the book here because I'm a doofus I think it's in the den or where is the book Margo did you take the book where' you go I don't know I swear I just saw her um it's usually in this drawer I have Majestic 13 in this drawer but I don't have uh I don't have it in here I think it's be oh it's in my backpack because I had to take it with me when I went to Madison to the uh uh game distributor conference that I went to earlier this week um let's see here afternoon from Yorkshire Ireland looking forward to diving into this excited to see what new terrain I can create to fit the theme and expand my model range that's pretty cool will Reaper minis need a specific base for this game I'm getting the the game later today but I'm planning um there are suggested base sizes in the the book um I think that the heroes generally are suggested to be between 25 and 32 mm um the most of the creatures are maybe the same except for there are
some big ones that they're like maybe it's uh 20 25 to 40 millimeter and then there are some the bigger ones like the giant skeleton the giant zombie flesh Golem those are supposed to be on probably closer to 50s and stuff like that but there it's in the book well the PDF you don't have the book yet but probably yeah um thank you for answering my question from before I'm looking at a spirit Summoner and a monster master myself I too have dozens of skeletons mummies a few vampires ordered a heap of ghosts I've got Spirit what the heck are those guys called Spirit hosts what's the it's the age of Sigmar model well it used to be before that but it's you know it's a GW fantasy model where it's like a box and it's like three ghosts all like like in a big spiral and there's I think three bases of them I think it's Spirit hosts um let's see I'm looking at spir I just read that one I love that most of your games so far have hit the Sweet Spot between I already have a bunch of that kind of mini and I want to get more of that kind of mini yeah I mean I'm always really focused on you know when we're coming up with stuff I'm like but what if they don't have that like I'm constantly kind of saying yeah but then they have to go out and get that you know so there's I'm I'm I'm always very cognizant of I want people to be able to use stuff that they have but I also do love the concept of people being able to like well I've got skeletons but I don't have good skeletons or I've got or I could use more skeletons or you know whatever um so yeah for
sure um finished painting my space station zero crew a month ago now I have to start necr hord there you go got my son death Wizards for his birthday he's loving it so far spent last night designing necromancers nice just remotely cheering at the design process well that's good to hear are you going to Origins no I'm not um one of these days maybe I haven't been since 2019 but I may end up going again at some point in the future um right now no though luckily thankfully I am not going anywhere until Gen Con so the 31st of July is the next time I have to go anywhere I'm not going to any trade shows gaming conventions this that the other thing um from from what I know uh until now I mean there's TMX this coming weekend but that's that's here in town so it doesn't matter as
much um let's see here the beauty of modern minis gaming and 3D printing is that it's way easier to find stuff in a style that appeals yeah absolutely I agree Reaper minis also have several Scythe wielders nice letter have just added a VR sculpting module definitely planning on picking up a VR set to give it a go that sounds kind of cool yeah I don't know what software he uses for the actual VR Blend or VR sculpting uh could the game be played in a modern setting with a zombie horde if you wanted it too sure death wizard solo and easy to learn as I don't play a lot of these yeah it has solo Co-op and you can also play it um adversarial versus whatever you want to you how you want to call that but basically since the first game the first game was designed just to be played you know pretty pretty much one-on-one or whatever and then a lot of people cuz it was the pandemic were like hey can we play this solo and then we made an expansion that was you know pay what you want um so that you could play it Solo or Co-op and it came with a series of six um scenarios that you played in sequence you didn't play them just randomly like roll a D6 and play whichever one you want you played like the first one and the second one the third one and they told a story um but then after after that every game we've produced basically again other than the the Zen like snarl though all the the normal size games that come out generally in the spring those have all been um games that have
got a solo and Co-op kind of is the primary play style but you can also still play them adversarial as well is it possible to have those already printed I don't have a 3D printer um oh the knuckle bones Miniatures yeah if you look at those links they'll say my minifactory and then right below them they'll say um only games and that's a company that prints Miniatures and ships them to you knuckle bones has a version of the old Citadel wizard with a machine gun yeah I've seen that one how are the cats getting on these days um you know slowly getting better um Margo is still nervous sometimes with um George because he is a moose but um and she's a little nervous sometimes still a little bit with Rex because he's unpredictable um so yeah but mostly getting better b7s and Masters the air I got to fly in the B17 that EAA uh the Experimental Aircraft Association um you know runs um I used to work for EAA and I worked in the IT department and we had a big huge project that took like forever ever and then it finally got launched and then so um this may have not been the best idea but they basically put the entire it
department on the airplane and gave us a free airplane ride in like the earlier part of the year as they were kind of again warming it up and getting it ready to go on tour and stuff like that and at the time as we were flying we're like if this plane crashes EA is not going to have any it Department that's that's that's maybe not necessarily the best idea but you know it was still fun though it was really cool uh just picked up death Wizards epic encounters from Steam Forge has a nice selection of skeletons epic encounters has got a bunch of really cool stuff actually um when I was at the trade show in Canada yes when I was at the trade show in Canada my booth was right next to theirs and I was not like I I was familiar with the stuff that they used to do um you know dread or sorry Guild ball which they don't do anymore but I think they're trying to bring back in like a print on demand sort of situation um I know they did a uh Dark Souls board game they've done a bunch of different things and I'm like well that's cool but this epic encounter stuff is really kind of interesting and I've been seeing a bunch of the models they were showing me a bunch of the stuff and everything and uh yeah it was actually really neat so um and they were like hey do you want to take a box of these things home and I was like I can't fit this in my luggage it's not going to work out um so I don't know maybe I'll reach out and see if they want to I got to take a look at their website uh but yeah but the stuff is very cool that they were showing me at least uh any suggestions for people who are thinking about getting into making their first Zen game or small game like death Wizards again like I said build an audience you want to start by building an audience um I mean take a look at um
flames of Orion from um under the dice AKA hives scum AKA Steve Steve's going to be at TMX by the way from hies scum anyway like I think if he would have just released that game out there without having a podcast and you know events and doing things like that it wouldn't have gotten very much traction because it's hard to be seen out there amongst the internet there's a lot of internet as it turns out so if you can get people who start to pay attention to the content you're putting out for free podcast you know whatever uh blog posts that kind of thing then when you decide hey I have this thing that I want to put out there in the world whether I want people to download it for free and just check it out or if I want to you know sell it to people or however you want to handle it um you have basically an audience to kind of look at those things which helps you know but you need to build that audience first and it's not an overnight thing it takes it takes some time so you know um the hives scum podcast has been around for at least a couple years but um it's just a lot of fun to listen to which is why I've been uh uh you know mentioning them in things like that I mentioned them in uh TMA Awards was it this year or last year I don't remember anymore
um b7s are one of my favorite warb Birds I hope to get to oshar someday for the EA Flyin yeah it's a big deal it's um it is uh we go from a city of about 75,000 to about a half a million uh and it becomes the busiest airport in the world Whitman Regional Airport becomes the busiest airport in the world for a week uh paranormal fighting the mundane see that's flipping the script again isn't it if one B7 is loud imagine a to them oh yeah no for sure SCP doesn't work well for game mechanics how do you war game eating cake or the world ends or sending people downstairs until they die yeah that's a good point again like that kind of creepy pasta thing right local Aviation Museum in Hamilton has one of only two Landcaster heavy bombers left flying in the world a thrilling sight when she's Airborne nice yeah yeah have to lurk I work but better than no lurk well sure absolutely Joseph I don't own a 3D printer in GB are out of my budget now so I'm selling my old stock and scratch building my own Minis and train it's taking a little bit longer but it's a lot of fun well that sounds cool you're uh you're you're making a good um you're making uh Le taking lemons and turning in lemonade maybe I don't know if that's the right terminology you're Wonder from the sunny DMV why is cleaning up mold lines less uh the the worst part of the new project I always seem to manage to cut up a finger or two in the process yeah I mean that can happen congratulations to the new game looks very interesting any plans on your rules being translated to other languages not particularly we've had people reach out an offer and
they're like look I'll translate it for free or whatever which is very very nice of them and that's not a thing we would really want somebody to do you'd want to pay them anyway the problem is is that when you translate things then you have to completely relayout the book Because as it turns out you know a paragraph in English could be longer or shorter in pretty much every other language even just translating it from you know English to Spanish or English to French or English to German or English whatever you know can I especially German because a lot of words are longer in German like your paragraph is four lines here and now it's six lines or seven lines which means that pushes everything else down that's also on that page and then pushes it so changing languages like GW can afford to do it but they are literally relaying out the book every time they need to change a language um unless you make the layout incredibly boring and simple and then just let it row and then you're like well this book is two more pages now the problem is also you can't make a book two more pages you can make a book four more pages at least in the system that we're using because if you think about it any given like if you're like oh just make the make the book one page longer well you can't just put one page into a book because what about the other side of the page that's technically two pages right and also you can't just stick the way that books are made is they're made out of things called signatures in most situations it's the way it's done here so a signature is a piece of paper right this is a piece of paper but you fold it
when it goes into the book and that's how it gets glued into the book or whatever so there's four pages there one two three four so if you need to add one more page then you technically have to add four more pages so all of these things which are stupid and nerdy to some degree are reasons why because we've had people be like what if you just do a color version and a black and white version well then we have to pay the artist to do color which costs more money and then I have to lay it out twice as well and now in that situation there's probably not going to be like shifting stuff color doesn't make the page get longer or shorter but it does go through and make me have to replace every single graphic with the different thing and if we're going to make the pictures color well then we should probably make some other stuff color and it's just a whole thing so to keep it as accessible as possible that's why we've kept it black and white insides color cover soft cover not hard cover um which is why we're able to sell the book for 18 bucks plus shipping you know um and the the thing about the different languages like I said that's just that that opens a huge can of worms on layout wise um and then also like we can't proof read it like you know what I mean like so that's also a problem as
well um are you going to make an expansion set in the Cretaceous area called Death lizards I was wondering where you're going with that and and now I get get it uh not that I plan on I don't think so no uh how about a game where two adversaries like Robocop and Batman face off on a football field players can customize their characters and engage in intense battles I man I know um afternoon from puckle church in the UK new game looks very interesting well thank you I appreciate it Noob painter how you doing so why are we Romancing next the game concept is strange I I get that I understand that I mean nexts can be pretty nice though um unless you're talking about those like little green lizard frog guys that were in um valheim those guys I'm not going to romance at all those guys those those those necks are gross um was the resolution mechanic for death Wizards already disclosed I'm not sure what you mean the resolution mechanic like for how it's for how you play and stuff like that there's a video called Turn summary on the website uh websites and games and death Wizards if you scroll down to Here There is a there's three videos there's the what is it video which is Awesome by the way I mean the video is fine the voiceover is awesome because my friend crock who is a streamer on Twitch um predominantly uh
twitch.tv cruck KR o tuu k k but if you watch the video in the description there's a link there too uh anyway we we paid him to do um the voiceover and he blew it out of the park it's just so awesome anyway um second video though is a turn summary that kind of explains at high level kind of like what goes on in the normal turn Loop and stuff like that um when you are like attacking somebody you roll 3D well it depends actually you roll x amount of d10s and you know maybe it's two maybe it's three maybe it's four it depends on the thing and then for every success which is basically the defense of the person you're attacking if you equal or exceed that then you do x amount of damage like one pointed damage I believe is what happens um so that that's that's kind of the way it works and most creatures have a durability necromancers don't because they're basically Immortal but then what happens is necromancers take damage they start to lose necromantic power which means that they can't use the ne necromantic power as much in that turn so like if you have let's say 10 necr Mantic power and you've used four this turn and then you take three points of damage you lose three more well now you're down to only three points left but at the beginning of the next turn you don't go back up to 10 where you started you only ever go back up to three or go back up three more unless you're already up near 10 like if you had nine left you're only going to gain one you can't go above what you had but you can only gain three so you're
you're at this kind of disadvantage where you're you're getting less powerful as you take damage but you can't be killed per se whereas zombies and skeletons and crap like that they can be they have a durability and they will they will croak I mean they're already dead but you know what I mean so yeah so the turn summary video is probably the thing you're looking for that and then also there's a battle report too uh down here at the bottom that Vince did so if you want to watch that you can learn all about the the different stuff as well um main screen there we go I believe we haven't announced it announced it yet but tomorrow which is Memorial day here in the states um so probably a lot of people will be home from work I'm I'm hoping uh but tomorrow the plan is to we're going to do a live stream sometime in the afternoon probably on Vince's YouTube channel and it'll be the two of us talking and answering questions in the comments and stuff so as oppose it's just me sitting here talking right now but it'll be it'll be good because Vince Canna answer all kinds of design questions and fun stuff like that so

um what else I know I scrolled way too far dang it ah here we go um morning Uncle from San Francisco how you doing are base size for the minatures a thing to be considered while playing death Wizards like I said there's stuff in the book about it so you can kind of keep track of like what size they should be and again it's suggestions so if you're like well sorry but my skeletons are on 40s okay that's cool I'm just when people ask we'll give them a suggestion but again there's you know you do what you do um if you need civilians in towns folk look at Thunderbolt Mountain Miniatures available from Ral partha oh cool I used to see Reaper Miniatures at almost every game store about 10 years ago I now I rarely see them I still see the plastic ones I see Reaper bones all over the place but I don't know if I see the metal ones as much anymore yeah you could easily uh adapt gas lands for skeleton Chariot racing I mean you know shearers from Austria painting some Savage Orcs with guns for 40K congrats on the new release absolutely thank you hi Uncle ad not sure if you heard that new valo model color range has the same bubble issues that the new game color as such a let down by a good company so happy with the fanatic line I haven't heard that about I mean I heard remember heard hearing someone talking about bubbling but I haven't heard anything about the new line at all from them um I'm I'm glad to hear that you like The Fanatic stuff I I do too it's my favorite um run Wars corebox say skeleton archer skeleton Warrior skeleton champion and a bunch of other good guy yeah that's true yeah if you
can find it Majestic 13 lone gunman fan I mean I love I mean like really like Majestic 13 is basically uh miniature uh solo and Co-op miniature game with also you know versus that is basically XCOM and X Files sort of smash together sorry about the noise um but yeah that's that's that's basically what it is happy Sunday Sunday yesterday we celebrated my fiance's birthday and we offered her $400 for her to buy herself a new combat lightsaber wow I didn't even know that those were a thing like like like lightsabers you can like actually like smack in other stuff and they won't break that's cool I had never even never even heard that that's pretty neat uh how many more games do you have plans for I mean we're planning on pretty much making games going forward you know just like pretty much once a year and then the snarls every fall um written down like things in our oh gosh I don't know I've probably got a couple dozen different ideas but like some of them are really like you know like the the barest morsel of an idea but sometimes that can be something that I can drop on on on Vince or sometimes he'll have an idea that he drops on me and then it can expand and all of a sudden become a thing so you know whenever you have an idea put it in your phone just you're like oh no I'm going to remember that none of us is getting any younger if you have a good idea put it in your phone get a little notes pad thing in your phone or whatever do something write it some if if you hate putting stuff in your phone write it in a little notebook
I got a little one of these kind a little knockoff moles skin from somewhere you know it yeah totally do that um keep keep track of that stuff because if you have a good idea and then you're like doing something else and then you forget about it it's really annoying when you forget a good idea hello from Texas how you doing so what else is Vince enthusiastic about just to get a guess for the next game um I don't know he likes um he likes Doctor Who I think pretty sure he's got like a big wall mural of do the inside of the TARDIS I think inside on the wall in his basement but I don't think that we're ever going to make a Doctor Who game because that's a license that I don't think we can afford which is fine um name is critical I can't with game names for at work all the time tricky with copyright yeah that's also the case too like part of the reason it's spelled death Wizards D and not de a is partially just because when I typed it into Google I found almost nothing and that's also kind of a big deal if you make a game that's like you know skeleton fight that's going to be hard to for people to find on the Google because there's probably a lot of other things called skeleton fight or whatever I don't know like if it was all one word maybe a different story but nonetheless but yeah death Wizards was partially because there was the idea of death being the play on words of death being the place and not de a and then also it was also partially just very tactical in
that well people don't you know what I mean it'll be easier to find on Google um where do you post your games if you go to snar badger.com uh that'll bring you here to our website poke there we go and you'll find uh here is uh the big top header graphic death Wizards here's picture of Vince although it's an older picture of Vince he's thinner than that now and I should um update that and a picture of me I look mostly like that still um and then here's some of our recent news posts and things like that and then up here there's the four games that we've produced so far rain in Hell space station zero Majestic 13 and death Wizards and then we also have the zine that we put out now the first time we did it was last year uh November of 2023 and the Zen is uh the official Zen of snarling Badger Studios and um the first one included a mini game micro game if you will called tanks for the apocalypse there's also an add-on for rain in hell and space station zero and you know here's a battle report for tanks the apocalypse here's what is snarl that kind of thing you can click here this is PDF only whereas the other games like death Wizards for example you can buy PDF only or you can buy the printed version and get the PDF for free um but there's also a card deck that you can that I do have here it might yeah so they're tarot sized cards they're not a requirement to play the game but they're
just kind of a nice to have like here's the three different layers you got your sewers your cave and your hubel and that gives you all the stats information so you have to dig through the book while you're playing to go what is it that I what's the benefit that I get oh easy access yeah right um You have cards for each of the heroes so this is the priest card has all the stats and then their specials and in the back it has their kind of like AI like what they do when it's their turn in the game um and then there's 19 not 18 different uh minions giant zombie mummy gas Etc and then these are add-ons to your layer they're known as impedimenta it's a fancy word we looked up on theasaurus um and so these are the different things as you play the game you can update your um your your base your lair and then they'll give you benefits and bonuses like if you take Spirit Halls then whenever you create a new necromantic minion during rais new Undead phase see page 91 after you have this impedimenta as part of your layer you may increase that NE necromantic minions r resist by one so it makes them more resistant to stuff so that's the cool thing about um the cards but again they're not a requirement in anyway I probably should have had the screen on the so you could see more of that sorry anyway um pachy discovered Frost grave we
should he should know about your games he and I have had a conversation well email but yes I'm going to be sending him a copy um was space station zero inspired by ss13 at all I don't think so again that one was was a Vince idea I don't know what ss13 is but maybe he knows Spirit hosts yep um just woke up after catching a few Z's after an unintentional all nighter building and priming the new dark tide box oh yeah yeah ghost to Origins JP got Rockets sure congrats on the new game just pre-ordered it and um looking forward to playing awesome well it's not a pre free- order like you can it's you you basically if you order it it they'll ship they they'll print it and ship it to you but you'll also get access to the PDF so you can start reading it right away I think on the website it might be helpful to have the blog post linked on the game page if it's not already older games post uh already getting buried maybe that's not a bad not a bad idea um how about going to a concert I don't know I need skeletons for basing material used up two boxes of Warhammer regiment skeletons from the late 90s sure
uh let's see here I can also see death the setting death Wizards on a low Tech sci-fi world that could be yeah I did poke it in the terrain section but no suggestion on the actual sizes of the scatter unfortunately I think you can use them whatever size you want I don't know that there was a specific like it's got to be exactly a certain size but uh but yeah like if there if it's it was going to be anywh it would be there but I don't know if it's a necessity I think if you go real big it just makes it you know a bit less room to move I suppose though to be fair I kind of like denser boards even especially on smaller stuff I think it makes it more interesting it reminds me kind of frankly of like like really dense kind of morheim City boards you know I like those uh where can I buy your games any game shops there are some this this particular game hasn't been shipped out to any shops yet but it will probably be shipped out to some shops here and there so if you're a retailer down the bottom of the website on any given page there's a thing that says retailer portal and you can go in there and then say hey I would like to sell rain in Hell Or Death Wizards or space stations or whatever and then we just make sure that you're actually a store and then we can send a coupon to the to you if you have an account through War Game Vault and then that way you can buy the games cheaper than retail so that you can then sell them retail and stuff and some stores do that but it's not a big thing we don't really do a lot through distribution or
anything like that um again the games are printed on demand so um when you order one then they make it um the benefit to that is that we never are like out of stock uh and we never have too many laying around like in our garage or anything like that and uh it works out pretty well there's B24 here in Savannah Georgia for the Memorial Day weekend just heard it fly over you're were talking about the B17 nice EA also now since I don't work there anymore but since then they also now have a B25 Mitchell that they um also fly around I think with the
B7 I order death Wizards in soft cover and PDF and the cards I think this is right at my alley well cool that's good to hear need rules for firearms when I paint my bolt action zombie Force there's not a lot of range attack in the minions list there's only maybe two Minions that have ranges I think it's um well skeleton archers match you know that makes sense skeleton archers obviously would be you know arching uh and then the Spectre yeah I think the Spectre is the only yeah it's these two right here it's the skeleton archer and the Spectre are the two that actually have a range stat as well uh Spectre just has a range at 10 and the skeleton archer has a range of 15 and that is inches so yeah I really wish I had the book here what the heck did I do with it like I said I think it's in my backpack um wanting to start a role playing campaign in the 40K Universe looking for recommendations on rules and assets um I know there's a 40K role playing game out there I cannot think of the name of it off the top of my head honor and Glory or is that the old one I can't remember but I I know there is one out there howy from Laro Texas we're looking forward to TMX absolutely cool to hear uh I generally know when wife has to Reflow tax for clients that want another language the groans of frustration oh yeah no it's it's a it's
a you're not completely starting from scratch but you're kind of starting from scratch bought death Wizards yesterday had to go dig through the garage and look for some old skeletons really hope you release the cards as a PDF for those of us who aren't in the US would love to to buy yeah again that's when we get into a situation where where it becomes a different like so okay when I upload these to them for printing each card is a page so this is a page and then the back is a page so this is let's say you start you have to start with the back I think so page one page two and then page three and then page four and that's the entire that's the PDF so we can't just take the PDF and put it up for sale because then if you to print it out you'd be printing out one card at a time and it' be the and and that would suck so to do something like that I would have to go back in take all of the art from all I don't know 43 different cards and try to and and also they're Taro sized so I think I could only fit maybe six on a page I think I could do three across but I think I could only go two down because I couldn't go a third one down because it would be too long for an 8 and 1 half by 11 piece of paper um and then you would have to print them and then on some of them like it doesn't like you don't need to see the back on some of them this one just says death Wizards lir impedimenta so you know okay
great but the uh these guys the the heroes are two-sided so then we also try to figure that one out too so um I swear nobody mentioned that I don't think anybody brought it up at least not that I remember remember nobody brought it up for the cards for Majestic 13 because this is not like this is the second time we've done cards um but yeah I'll have to take a look at that if we do that then because I I get it yeah that so the downside to this process to some degree is that death Wizards the book the books are printed in two different places the books are either printed in the United States or they're printed in the UK so people over in the UK and Europe and stuff like that don't have to get a book shipped all the way from the states they can get it they'll they they buy something it gets printed in the UK and then shipped around there which is sort of nice I wish that this company would get a place out in Australia or Indonesia or somewhere out there I don't know New Zealand something that would be great but so far they have not um the company that prints the cards though is a different company than the people who print the books and they only have one facility it's in the states so um yeah I need to figure out the best way to do that and figure out how many pages that is and it's the whole thing um and it's still going to be a little difficult I think your best bet is if you're going to do this if we do figure out a way to do it your best bet would
be to buy tarot cards sleeves and then maybe put them in the sleeves I don't know it's it's printing a PDF that's not just a booklet is a little bit harder in this situation cards and things like that which is why you don't see it a ton but I'm going to try to do some research and figure it out um have you thought about translations on your games kind of talked about that a little bit uh GW Ed little bits of incidental art to fill up us partially used Columns of text and the like and they can be added and removed in different versions of the books depending on how wordy any particular language is if we had lots of extra artwork like they did then we could do that but again it still becomes then a situation of me having to do the layout four five six times depending on how many languages there are but yeah that's what I'm assuming they're doing is they're trying to do that of course if it goes long you know I wonder if they start by basing it off of whatever might be the longest language which might be German but maybe not I don't know um let's see here really excited to try this game out planning to do some Lich King inspired Necromancer nice oops everything moved again um um Spirit hosts I saw that remember that um game shops no we don't really do that too much um used copies of 40K Second Edition
rules I couldn't say but the original Rogue Trader book was reprinted and reissued back in 2018 2019 yeah you could only get it through I think uh Forge World I picked up a copy at adepticon um like at the Forge World Booth of the reprint of Rogue Trader um I think they did a reprint of the second book too this the realm of chaos or whatever
book I ordered the game and the cards this weekend if I can work out the logistics for filming a skirmish game in a reasonable way I'm hoping to play it on my channel nice that's pretty cool uh can you post the link for that live stream with you and Vince in the Discord when it's live yes yes if he posts it ahead of time on on YouTube like I do you know then we I could probably post it before it starts and then it'll give you the countdown like it like the every Sunday show does uh Sam was a tattoo artist yes he was uh I don't have any tattoos from him but I have a tattoo that was put on me near him which is to say he when I first met Sam I was getting a tattoo at this tattoo parlor and there was this long-haired guy that was over at the other the other chair and he was like cleaning his station and stuff like that and I was like is that a golden demon and it was the first one that he had won and he had just won it recently and then that's how we met and then there you go because he had it on his little shelf next to his uh his workstation um please announce the live stream in advance please don't do it too late in the day everything past 5:00 p.m your time is past midnight in Europe um yeah like I said we're going to try I don't know probably sometime in the afternoon um but we'll see how it goes I don't know that we can do it in the morning particularly um will you be making merch for Majestic 13 and death Wizards or even the Sterling Badger brand uh I love a
hat we don't have a hat for Snelling Badger but there's t-shirts um so again if you go to websites if you go to merch up here come on merch there we go um so yeah there's stuff for rain in hell and for spacation zero I have stuff done but not published yet for Majestic 13 part of the problem is that we decided we were going to make 13 different shirts for the different factions and that's taking some time well it it took some time and then I stopped and I haven't been able to work on it for a long time so I've been doing everything else so part of the plan also of getting so I have three main plans for uh this summer June 3 will be the Monday after TMX June 3D I'll stream at night my normal time 700 p.m. central Time on Twitch but I'm not doing anything else the entire day I'm am going to like watch some movies or I don't know maybe I'll paint some stuff for me you know that kind of thing I it's been a long two almost three months so so June 3rd is going to be a day of rest uh and then streaming in the evening after after that then like I said I'm not going anywhere until very end of July I'm leaving for for Gen Con on the 31st of July um so my three main things I'm working on this summer are um I want to make some some really cool terrain stuff and make terrain videos about it I have things planned I have things started so
that's in motion um I want to work on merch both for this uh for the you know the snarling Badger store and also for uh you know my I want to move my store over to this system this system is called uh fourth wall is what we're using for our shop. snaring badger.com uh and I want to move my merch over there too as well anywh who um what else then uh the third thing is I'm working in the basement because I want to get out of my stupid studio uh before the end of the year the windows in my stupid studio in theory are starting to go in on Tuesday we shall see but that's what I've been told but anyway so yeah so these are these are all plans is what they
are um uh I literally just bought the game yoga pants yogurt pants thank you very much uh I've been watching you for years and this is the first string Badger game I'm I'm in on uh thanks man for all the sweat you put into this and your videos I appreciate that thank you very much um let's see here I didn't try airbrushing fanatic yet see I I haven't because I just I I just use the airbrush paints personally um I should probably give it a try but I think the trick is that you end up having to then thin each paint and each paint you're going to have to thin differently depending on the color because some of the colors they say that the colors are depending again on the color between 300 and 700% more um I'm getting dark over here between 300 and 700% more pigment than they used to and again some colors have more some colors have less so in that situation I would think to some degree you have to thin some of them more and thin some of them less to get to that sort of that um what do you call it the skim milk kind of consistency is generally what you're looking for for your airbrush but I haven't tried it yet uh I'm a fan of both X Files and XCOM Majestic 13 is right up my alley thanks for the game absolutely my friend and I finally
managed to play our first game Majestic 13 awesome game well good good to hear so if I buy watermarked PDF plus soft cover black and white book I get a book as well correct yeah yeah you get the PDF right away and then the book they will print it and ship it to you good place for skeleton models would be the starter box for the now dead Rune Wars miniature game that was given out of a free to Dept kind what six years ago I mean you have to break him off those weird big bases but yeah I can see that I have notebooks everywhere just for ideas I think it's a good idea I still scribble notes in an old notebook and scraps paper the thing about scraps of paper is that I will lose them so having them in the thing and again the reason I do have my phone is because then you know I don't usually lose my phone plus the thing I do is also on the cloud so if I do lose the phone like in the river I don't know why but if I was is like chasing a bird and then my phone fell in the river again neither of these things are things that happen frequently but yes um is it bigger on the inside of his house than the I don't know maybe a little bit I mean I've been there doesn't seem that much bigger maybe the basement is bigger though what's this Majestic 13 game uh Majestic 13 is a previous game it's the LA the game we made last year from snowling Badger Studios uh lead your team of secret soldiers against the forces of an alien menace in this Miniatures agnostic war game of Earth Defense so uh again there's a PDF there
is a this is the thickest book we've made uh this one was 144 Pages it's also an add-on deck and basically you are a team of five um soldiers military is type folks whatever who go up and try to save the planet against like an XCOM sometimes oh those aliens they landed here here and stuff in this situation in our game it's predominantly one alien that lands and they're very tough so it's a very asymmetrical game where you are you know five people fighting against a single uh AI kind of opponent sort of thing but there's also information about that you can go to Majestic 13 gunte Majestic as well Majestic 13 game.com or just go to snowling badger.com and you'll find it so there's that too uh home and we'll go back here okay let's see here um nude Warhammer trying to figure out a tyed paint Scheme I'm stuck any insights on how to figure it out um do a Google search a Google image search for colorful bugs I mean if you want them to be colorful or colorful lizards you could do that too I made a video years ago about looking for color inspiration from uh you know from Bugs lizards nature basically that'd be something to take a look at or you could just type in tied paint schemes and find something
you like I did that for um my Imperial Guard I basically just looked at a whole bunch of different Imperial Guard paint schemes and then finally was like I like everything about this but I don't like that so I'm going to change that and then I'm going to just use that as kind of my paint Scheme and again yeah I it wasn't a situation where they had like an actual recipe where it was like oh you have to use this color and then this color from this manufacturer and this color it was just like here's a picture of it I'm like I like that but I don't like the helmet so I'm going to change that and then boom so that's the best way to kind of go against those things I think um let's see here Majestic 13 is a game about secret war against alien infiltration Invasion it's pretty close yep yep do either you or Vince like crunchier games do you plan to stick to the simpler format you've both developed or will you get into some higher detailed crunchier games I don't see us making crunchier games particularly Vince likes to play uh age of Sigmar and he also likes to play he has been playing some of the new well it's not well it's the old world the new old world you know what I mean so he's done some of that I don't want to play Super crunchy games I'm just not interested it's I used to do that I mean you know a little bit here and there everything like but these days I just want my games to be more streamlined and simple and I want to have more fun with the models and things like that and that and have a good time playing as opposed to being like well this you know here on page 760 it says that I have to do this I I just that's just not for me so I doubt we will do that as well it would take us a lot longer as well to produce a game in that fashion uh obviously and also
generally those games have a tendency to be much more army oriented and we focus predominantly on Skirmish and again kind of the guiding principle is really about uh accessibility and I think it's way easier for someone to get into one of the games when you're like like Majestic 13 you're like you need five guys and then you need an alien that's pretty much about it you know what I mean um like in this game you need a few more models than that obviously you need more uh Heroes to some degree you need more um uh when you start out you can start out with a very few amount of models like if you really want to go heavy you can start out with a really low amount of models you do run a bit of a risk of making it so that if those models get wiped out you're having a harder time you know but because the different creatures the different Undead minions have ratings stuff like um so you got rating one two three or four and when you start out in your your very first kind of uh horde as we call them so the first game rain in hell it was a cabal that your your War band cabal um and then second game was your crew because space station zero you were ship on your crew on a ship third game we've referred to those folks in Majestic 13 as your team so you've got cabal you've got crew you've got team
and now here in death Wizards it is horde so when you're building your horde uh in this you start out with seven rating worth of uh minions so you could go with with seven zombies if you wanted to or you could take a Revenant who's rating two and then five zombies or you know whatever however that combination is going that's basically how you do it and then as you play you keep adding stuff and you can also build your roster past what you can take in any given Mission but that allows you then to change and be like okay well you zombies stay home I'm going to be bring in these guys and you you know you so yeah it's uh it's kind of interesting that way death Wizards is perfect for me I have a vast collection of Miniatures that will provide tons of options for all the game types reading the PDF now nice good to hear uh do you have a good paint Scheme with war paint fanatic for zombie flesh I need to paint my Resident Evil board game minis I've been using the airbrush paints because they've got like necrotic flesh and stuff like that um on the in in the actual um airbrush line and I've been just using like a dark you know primer and then just doing zeni of those like those colors they've got a line of there's at least there's three and it's like I know one of them is called necrotic flesh and I can't remember the other two but they're in there um I think there's necrotic flesh in The Fanatic paint line as well but I can't remember off the top of my head like I said I have a tendency to do a lot of
airbrush to start and then speed paint and wash um I don't do as much layer painting which is to use you know Fanatics straight off the get but I mean I do when I'm going back through and covering up details and stuff like that but um but it depends yeah but I don't have a great like off the top of my head recipe on that should have called it Mega Death Wizards I think we would have got sued should we expect the same format from snarl going forward mini expansion for two games in a micro game potentially I mean they'll definitely be a micro game and then there may be two um expansions maybe there'll be three I don't think so though probably be closer to two or else maybe one big expansion and then a micro game but the idea is to put it like a micro game in each one of the snarl things and then put in I think that there's not as big of a benefit to us making a thing that is just add-ons for games that we've previously sold because if you haven't bought those games then that's not interesting to you you know as a as a as a customer but if you look at it and go well for eight bucks I can get this cool micro game or whatever and then be like oh that's neat and then also maybe also get some extra information for a game that you like or maybe you're like well I've been thinking about space station zero and here's this information for more gear and weapons for space station zero maybe I should pick up space station zero that's you know to be fair kind of part of it as well is this Loosely based on Frost
grave no I wouldn't say so I mean Frost grave is a a game where you are a group of treasure Hunters right going into so Frost grave is I forget what the city was called before but is referred to as Frost grave now because at some point there was some sort of magical mistake or accident which froze the entire city for a thousand years I'm totally pulling this out of my brain and I could be wrong on that but I thought that was the original story of the game was there was the city there was lots of magicians and it was really cool and then there was some sort of accident and it froze everything for like ,000 years and now it is starting to thaw out and so you as a treasure hunter and your group of treasure hunter friends are going in to try to find treasure cool magical crap and stuff like that pull it out of there but there are Undead zombies and also other creatures and all kinds of crap that are also starting to thaw out and so you're kind of going up against them plus if you're playing obviously against friends well then it's your treasure hunting group versus another treasure hunting Group which if anything has got ideas pulled from um MIM to some degree with our game you are a necromancer you're this person who's been interested in necromancy and you grew up in the land of death dth not de a which was a lovely normal kind of you know fantasy Trope sort of Kingdom you were exiled for being too spooky basically go cut that out with all the digging in the
graveyard and then you uh raise yourself a group of Undead and then come back and go well let me show you something and so that's basically that um that's the difference I guess in that situation also I'm 98% sure they use 20 Siders as kind of their base um like attack and whatever kind of type die we use six Siders and 10 Siders and such like that and it's it's you know it's a different thing in that sort of situation as well Jordan sorcery did a recent video on Steve Jackson games micro games from 70s and early 80s some I remember some I forgot oh yeah I should watch that remember battle beasts that might make a cool game presence file off the serial numbers and Away you go I don't I don't remember battle beasts was it a cartoon hey from Germany just made it designing my own war star my Star Wars Armada rules for 3D printing nice just ordered the character set death Wizards game to have printed if they give a 15% discount game us next one so I got answer no that's cool um try a light base color that you can tint with washes oh the the tyranids yep I assume this year's snarl will have a have more bigger Heroes than monsters creatures um well so I don't know but here's the deal the last issue
had an add-on for rain and hell and space station zero so at the very least I'm assuming this issue will have some sort of add-on for Majestic 13 cuz we haven't touched that one yet but maybe then we'll also do I don't know exactly we haven't decided I'm not sure if it will be an add-on yet I don't know if we want to have an add-on for the game that in snarl that for the game we just released this year maybe we do we don't I'm not sure on that yet we haven't really talked about it we have talked about like the micro game but we haven't talked about anything else on that on that front particularly lazy morning I just got here good morning with congrat on the new game well thank you blue N I appreciate that wrath and glory is the current one gotcha okay great looking Miniatures did you design them uh no uh the Miniatures on the website that's not the right page games death Wizards these are designed and produced by uh knuckle bones Miniatures and so basically we told them look there's six different types of necrom answers we gave them uh some access to some of the art that we had kind of early on from Martin and kind of just gave him like a paragraph of each about like what they are and what they kind of do and that kind of stuff so the war Reaper is in like this kind of chain mail and scal mail and has a big Scythe um and then the controller their job is so the war
Reaper is like a necromancer that gets into the fight like yeah yeah yeah I got some zombies and stuff that's cool but I'm going to stab you with this thing directly whereas normally the necromancers in the back telling the undead minions to do things for them to do their bidding I believe is the proper terminology uh the controller is um like that but also can mess with other Undead so if you're playing in a versus game the controller can be a real thing but the controller can also control non Undead stuff to some degree as well so the controller is like a mind taker to some degree uh monster Master is kind of a Frankenstein kind of guy and when I say Frankenstein I mean Dr Frankenstein not Frankenstein's monster um Spirit colar Works predominantly with ghosts so they get benefits for using ghosts and things like that in their group the stitcher is um the stitcher is very good at like he's basically a medic for the undead like he's he cares about his Undead Creations quite a bit they're like friends of his so he's constantly putting them back together and fixing them up and all that kind of stuff and then the dread horde Master is basically I mean kind of what what he says on the 10 he's he he gets benefits for running more miniature more minions than than fewer so that's kind of the difference in there and all those kind of things but yeah these are all designed by uh mattye Knuckles from knuckle bones Miniatures I do not know that Matty Knuckles is his real name but that's okay it's the internet you can do that um let's see just dropping in between family Shenanigans have a good Memorial Day all
indeed I've never actually painted nids but have ideas for when I do I have painted a few nids I did a kill team back before kill team got into a situation that I didn't like but yeah I did mentioning garages are Min safe to store in a garage I keep m in really useful boxes with Magnetic sheet bottoms um it depends on the Raccoon situation at least in my opinion or maybe squirrels there's some sort of rodents that like to hang out in our garage a lot and sometimes chew on things that we don't want them to chew on as it turns out so um like my bike chewed on the on the handle grips which I'm like that's not helpful um I'm assuming it's probably squirrels but there's definitely some raccoons messed around there too because they leave Footprints like squirrels don't have Footprints like
raccoons uh skeleton archers with no range strikes me as something you or Vince would find amusing or is that more of a ninja thing I don't know maybe oops everything moved uh um are you going to make some zombies and skellies no there's that those are out there everybody's got skeletons and zombies out there like again in the blog post we've got lots and lots of places that do that stuff um let's see here got my rain in hell in the UK supplier was nice to see so you can imagine it sucks for everyone on the other side of the globe H um can you talk a bit about creating your team like I said you start out basically with you get seven rating uh worth of stuff and the different so so you pick a necromancer necromancers have a potential of three different starting stat blocks and then you can kind of tweak them um there are six different types of necromancers all that are different kind of special abilities and bonuses and then you have your 19 different types of uh Undead minions and like I said you start out with the ability to use up to seven uh rating which means you could go with seven skeletons because they're rating one or I mean I suppose you could go with a I don't know a death knight and a wraith but then you only have two minions which is maybe not necessarily the greatest uh play right off the
bat um let's see here warning from overcast Southern California have you played any of the black site Studios games I watched a game of lunar one time I've bought some of their bunch of their models but I don't think I've actually played any of their games like I said I watched the game of lunar at adepticon when it first came out I think um I own Dem ship from malev but have not had a chance yet to put it together but I do own
that um going to have to wait to get this one we should be closing on a new house on Friday well congratulations absolutely the trick is with this is that it's never out of stock because it's a print on demand so it's not like oh it's sold out you can't get it yeah no it's always it's always available Army painters airbrush medium is great have used it with all acrylics interest water-based acrylics why that makes sense do you ever see Terry TCO around K anymore yeah I saw her at adepticon this year I hadn't seen her since oh gosh since before the pandemic um but yeah I got to see her this year at Adept con so that was good we had not talked to each other in quite some time but yeah it was very good to see her oops clunk the mic um let's see here Rune Wars minis are on 25mm round bases Source painting them right now I thought they were on those Square things it's Rune Wars is Rank and flank game wasn't it or am I thinking of something else it was like plastic Rank and flank unless they were on Circle bases and you put them into rectangular trays that could be maybe I hadn't thought about that it's been a while like I remember because that that game hasn't I don't think has been in production for six seven years right just cleaning out old YouTube subs and came across her Channel yeah no she hasn't published anything on her Channel I think in a long while she's she's working as a she is a what is she she's a managing editor at Monty cook games uh so a lot of RPG stuff
mainly is there a theme setting you'd like to make SL playay in the future well I mean at this point we've done fantasy now we've done sci-fi um we've done sort of X Files XCOM UFO stuff um rain in hell was kind of fantasy you know because it was like demons and stuff like that I don't know um I'd like to head back into sci-fi at some point you know I think that'd be kind of fun but there's always all kinds of things I don't know that we'll do historicals specifically maybe alternate history historicals I we already did that actually technically we did alternate history alternate history historicals with tanks of the Apocalypse but um yeah sneezing Badger indeed uh hi from Madison will death wi be available at tabletop minions convention sadly no we did not get the proof back fast enough to order more and so it will not be there unfortunately which bums us out but yeah so if you are interested I would purchase it now and or whenever you want and then it'll get shipped but we won't have it at TMX unfortunately we will have rain in hell not a ton but enough some we'll have uh Majestic 13 and we'll probably have some copies of space station zero because Vince is going to bring some because he has some we ordered uh stuff to bring to Nova last year and it showed up the day he left so it's
yeah can't wait to order death Wizards and also the minis from knuckle Bones the the the knuckle bones minis are are great I want I'm looking forward to painting them saw Terry at Gen Con passing the last couple years she's quite busy with Renegade game studios no she was working for Renegade for a while but she's that's that's she's worked there for a while but then she has been working for Monty cook since before the pandemic maybe just after maybe like yeah it's been a while though but she's been at Monty cook games because uh I got to talk to her about how much I enjoyed even though I'm probably never going to play it how much I enjoyed the um old gods of Appalachia uh RPG because that's Monty Monty cook put that out it's Spas off of this really cool podcast and I was just talking about because her name's in it because she's managing editor and stuff so that was very cool would my lurks from The Fallout Wasteland Warfare Line work as enemies in Majestic 13 oh I mean anything can be an alien if you just kind of paint it weird like um website if I go up here Majestic 13 like that big alien that's uh I think it's called like a mage hunter or something like that it's a D and D guy I just painted him with um um turbo dor like color shifting paints and stuff like that but yeah he's um I think he's called a mage hunter or something like that but it's from The
Whiz Kids it's it's a whiz kids model that I just basically like I said just painted up with a bunch of crazy colors um in the video as well me turn off the audio and we just keep scrolling so so there he is there again like I said that's a whiz kids D andd model technically um I know that I've also got the other monster here this guy so that is I forget what that thing's called too but it's also a DND D type monster then I just used turbo dor color shift paints to make him all purply metallic and then painted them up and all that jazz and stuff so so yeah um anything can be an alien if you believe in yourself that's the way I look at
it um let's see I have the original morheim witch hunter War band painted to use as the heroes nice that makes sense um what's the lowest model count no vampire joke intended you can start with uh probably two I think cuz again you could go with like a four and a three rating and then I think that should do the job I'm 98% sure on that I'd have to double check on it and again unfortunately I don't have the stupid book with me I don't like I said I don't I wasn't planning Necromancer a four-tier monster and yep that's what I thought yep and The Necromancer doesn't have a tier you just automatically get the Necromancer that's the Minions that you have to have the tiers for glad it will let me use all my Undead from hero Quest I ordered some ghosts and banshees from GW to mix and match in nice Banshee model I've got I bought a Banshee model like when I was at we were at Vincy con we were we were play testing it and I was like I pulled up my phone and I ordered a Banshee model because I couldn't find I knew my local store didn't have it and so I ordered one from there and then something else too I forget what else
um bought my print on demand PDF combo on War Game Vault now the waiting game uh while I read the digital Edition nice demon ship indeed yeah I'm looking forward to working on that at some point soon digging the virtual Game Boy in the back here yeah haven't turned that thing on in a while but it's a not not a terrible place for it to sit when I was at that um Curiosities and Oddities uh Expo yesterday they had these like coffin like display cases and they had like little shelves inside I was like I could put my Miniatures in there and then I'm like no cuz I want to put a a display case back there with some Miniatures in there but and I ordered one from artist Opus who knows when I'll see it I don't know round bases and Trays okay that's that's I think the smart way to go I'm I'm kind of a little astounded that GW didn't decide to go that way like Conquest the last argument of Kings it is very smart that they put their models on round bases and then you put them in trays with they have round holes not only because then you can also use them in First Blood which is more of a skirmish sort of skirmish type game a little bit closer to ages sigar in my opinion as far as scale uh not scale but you know amount of models but the other thing is is that then you can turn the guy who's got the spear so he's not poking the guy in front of him in the in the in the butt you know what I mean you can turn him a little bit and that kind of stuff and it just makes it easier to work with so I was a little surprised he didn't go down that would um would love a steampunk alternate World War I 2 with steam Tesla Max similar to conflict 47 but a bit
earlier they are working in a new version of conflict 47 I was told this by a little bird who works at um at um warlord um I think that the problem is with some of the Sometimes some of these ideas and I'm like I have no idea where you would get models for that you know what I mean like that's kind of the problem always has a new game coming out called pit Lord yep I've heard about
