final grade. Tycoon Games. Kudos to them. And I say that with all seriousness. I am someone who's been in this hobby long enough to know what the reputation of Tycoon Games was at a different point in the past. And it was bad. And there are so many companies that did and would have just folded for a variety of different reasons. And yet they are here and they are milking you for blankets. They are milking you for playmats. And they are actually comfortable enough to the point where they don't have to pound their chest at the front of every single one of their Kickstarter campaigns about ah look how we're donating toys for tots toys for tots which is great by the way. That's great. But when you're a like and I'm just going to use a billionaires for example when they make mistakes how do they fix it? They do charitable donations and things like that. Right?

So and so I'm what I'm saying is that was smart. That was smart. They knew their situation at Games Salute and they're like, "All right, we got to pivot. We got to rebrand. We got to do this. We got to do that." And they're here. They're making money hands over fist. They're not spotlighting their publishers at all or their designers at all. And and kudos to them because I appreciate cockroaches. I really not actual cockroaches. I hate them. They disgust me. But cockroaches who can just stick to their goal and march no matter what. And and kudos to them. So, do I want it? Yeah, I do. That video is great. Like, that video was great. It did a fantastic job getting me into the cozy world of Everdell and seeing all the theme and but as a gamer, I see the iconography. I see the amount of cards. I see how the theme is directly attached to the mechanisms, which means it's going to be easier to teach. I see all that in this 102 second video because you showed me it. You did a very good job here. And I had no idea that if I buy the deluxe edition, I wasn't going to get the actual deluxe edition that I wanted. You hid it for me very well. Good for you.

Can you do it? Yeah. Yeah, you can. Maybe there'll be some issues with customer service or shipping or various different stuff like that. primarily because it's it's just this is obnoxious. Like we got 10 playmats. Yeah. We got 15inch fluffies. We got blankets. We got we got a pledge. You can buy everything Everdell ever. We got a whole We got enough add-ons. We got add-ons for days. We got a whole Kickstarter page of add-ons, right? And it worked. So, can you do it? Yeah. They have gotten past everything that was bad. Well, I shouldn't say everything, but they've gotten past the bad stuff and now it's just Everdale City and they and they're picking up some other stuff as well. Uh, good for them. Can you do it? Yeah. And then how much But that being said, how much is it?

[sighs] This product is 110% going to have to deal with the I could just get it at retail people. And there's no two ways about it. tabletop tycoon is popular enough that it's like, yeah, do you think that if you don't back Everdell Journeys, you're going to have a hard time finding Everdell Journeys? Cuz if you do, you don't. I was going to say something about buying swamp land in Florida, but I would just mess it up and I would have sounded dumb. Yeah. No, you're going to be able to get this after the fact. Like, come on. Um, so it really is they still got you to back it. And how did they do that? Well, we're gonna throw in a random game, right? We're just gonna have a bunch of a bunch of pledge levels and we'll give you exactly what like Yeah, kudos for them. Kudos.

So, final and then So, how much is it? I I guess let's let's actually pinpoint it because once again, I feel like it's kind of hard to pinpoint down because we have numerous different pledges that are that are viable, right? And I know you say that how is how is it how was buying blankets and plushies viable? Because everybody wants blankets and plushies, right? If you got kids, that pledge level screams to you, I would imagine. Aside from that price, right? And even if you don't have kids, if you just have space on your bed or you like Everdell or like you like it's just it blows my mind that more companies don't do cool merchandise as part of their Kickstarters. It really does. I honestly thought that when um who was it? They did Flamecraft. when they did Flame Craft and they were like offering like oven mitts and like kitchen towels and cookie cutters and it exploded. I was like, I bet you other companies are going to learn from that lesson and they're going to be like, oh, we could do that, too. And surprisingly, I don't feel like more companies do that, especially companies that have like pre-existing track record of like, hey, I'm just throwing a weird example, but they're like, you want to you want a champions of Midgard cookie cutters? And I'd be like, "WELL, HELL YEAH, I DO."

RIGHT? Like they're like, "It's 12 bucks extra to get Champion of Midgard cookie cutters." That would be the most popular pledge by a country mile. They would hit their seven to 10 times to one. They would sell more on add-ons and people would talk about how just how stupid, ridiculously fantastic our hobby is. So to tabletop tycoon, I salute you. I don't like the cut of your jib. I didn't like it all so long ago, but you have survived and you've thrived and you are shifting industry standard. Like this doesn't feel necessarily like every other project that I cover. A and so it's a good grade. And I still think that main image is just absolute trash. I think it's really not a great idea and kind of crummy not to spotlight your your designers who, you know, pretty much are helping you build this this runway away from your past with Everdell. Should we mention them? Nah.

Um, but still, I'm gonna go with a B+. Yeah, I'm not gonna dip into the A. I still think this main image is just terrible. I think the description is just bad. I think not leaning into the 10 players because you do hear like once you get here, but like let me know it's 10 players on the outside, right? Like how does that hurt at all? Anyone? I don't know. Uh I'm going to go with the B+ though. Let me know in the comments below what's your final grade for Everell Journeys.
