30 Hour Marathon: Hours 13-17
Hey, hey, Hello and welcome back to the Dice Tower. I am here all by myself. You get to spend the next few hours with just me and my little lonesome. No, actually, I've got uh Emmery and Jacob here joining me in a bit. But in the meantime, I'm just going to start setting up. And we are going to begin with one of my all-time favorites, and that is Gizmos.
And I don't have the fancy version. I have this like old version that was probably really loud. All right. Ah, I also can't see anything on the TV in front of me, so I have no idea if this is in order and in screen or anything like that. Alrighty, Emry, I'm making you first player. >> Also, I want to know from the chat if ProCell Intense is a battery that you all recognize.
This is a debate that we're all having. We ever heard of this battery name? Have you, Jacob? >> No. >> Do you heard of ProSell before? How about you, Emory? >> I have not. >> Is it what the pros use? Are we just not professional enough? >> I mean, we use batteries for microphones, not heart monitors, you know?
>> Have you played gizmos before, Jacob? >> Yes. It's been a while, but yes. Okay, so Emry needs a little recap, too. I just need to remember how many is in each nine. 432. >> Yay. I can see I can see clearly now the monitor's on. I can see all cars that are in your hand. All right, I've now set it three of four chairs at the table.
>> This notification keeps popping up. >> Yes, >> we are just ignoring it. In fact, I'm dragging it to the other screen because it just keeps popping up. >> Okay, so just so that it doesn't it's not in the way. >> Sweet. It's going to be a bright bright bright sunshining day. Do you have a ring? Wendy, explain what the fancy version of Gizmo.
>> Oh, the fancy version of Gizmos has a nicer thing not made out of cardboard. >> I'm surprised you haven't made Joey print you one of his printed. >> I know. Well, the Dice Tower is a nice one. I usually just pull out the Dice horror copy whenever I'm doing stuff. But luckily, I kept this because why would I get rid of an awesome game?
All right, y'all ready for this? You want to do something with that? >> You want it face up? >> Oh, no. He needs space. >> Oh, look at that. >> Yeah, we don't need it >> in the trash. >> It's garbage now. We can't see. How about you move this to the other side because that's open and then it's not blocked by our our faces.
All righty. I'll move that up here. You're going to be building down below this. We got victory points. All right. So, we're going to play till someone has 16 gizmos and then we're going to finish the round. So, each card in front of you is going to be a gizmo. Um, currently you have the ability of having up to five marbles in your little circle.
You can have up to one card saved in your hand that nobody else can build. Only you can build. And then you can um research up to three, which basically means draw three and then choose to either file or build one. What do I mean by file or build? File is that nice little thing that you can hold in your hand and you can build it anytime later when you so desire and have the ability to build.
Um and then what I say research. Yeah, I already explained research. So yeah, file or build basically. Okay. So on your turn, you're going to do one of these three actions. research being the the optional one that I said you could then file or build after. Um, so on my turn, for example, I might choose to pick a marble and I look out here and I see these costs uh the cost of the card is where is it?
Down here. Cost of the card is in the bottom left. So I may go, hey, I want to have a red marble. So I think I might build a red card in the future. And then on Emry's turn, Emry can choose to file pick or build. But you don't have any marbles right now, so you can't build. If you file, then you can choose to activate any gizmos that are under file.
If you choose to pick, you can activate any gizmos under pick, but you don't have any. If you choose to build, you can activate any gizmos under build. So, right now, if you chose to file, you could choose to pick a card. Like, for example, you know, I want this red one. You can take this red one. You could put it in your hand to keep it from me, like the jerk that you are.
Um, and then you would, this symbol right here, this question mark with a line, means that you're going to pull one out of the top randomly. So, you could choose to do that or you could choose to pick a marble. And the goal of that is to be able to uh basically build a bunch of gizmos in front of you.
So, eventually, if I pretend built this for one red, then I would have this down here. And what this means is anytime in the future that I pick a blue one from this little lineup here, I also get to pick one from the top. Um, you also have ones that go under the building. For example, this one says, "Whenever I build a yellow card, I get to pick one of my choice from this lineup here." Um, there's also some that are converters.
So, this one says that one yellow a turn is wild. So, it can be any choice that I want. Um, sometimes you have ones like this where it says one red is actually equal to two reds. But, you can only use these you can only trigger each gizmo once per turn. And that's all that you you can do. You can upgrade your upgrades over here.
For example, now I can hold six and I can um sorry, I can hold six marbles here and then I can have two um in my hand in my file. Okay. Do you guys have any other questions on this? Nope. >> Do you feel that was refreshing enough? >> Most refreshing. >> Yes. >> Did you call me a jerk? >> I did call you a jerk.
No. I love you, Emory. You're my favorite. >> I have a lot of favorites. >> Shh. Don't tell Chris. He's still here. >> I'm the most favorite. No, I actually I that's one of my phrases I use all the time with my daughter and Chris. I always call them my favorite. >> Still fighting about it. >> It's true.
You're just different favorites. Okay. You're my favorite Emory. I don't know any other Emories that I love as much as you >> and are as much of Jerks as you also. Goodness. I don't know a lot of Emies. Do you know a lot of emories? >> Nope. >> No. Jacob knows. >> Just the one. >> I'm the third Emmy in my family, so I know at least two.
>> All right. Well, I'm going to take that same turn that I took. yourself >> before. I'm going take >> three. >> Are they all in your family? >> Do we? >> Yeah, that makes sense. >> Do any of us know ourselves? Really? >> I was named after a girl that my mom knew in elementary school. >> I was named after the Bible and Jake the Snake cuz my mom really got into wrestling when she was >> It all makes sense now.
All right, I'm take I took a red. That's my turn. Uh, someone said to mention the marbles exploding. >> When they're the same color next to each other, you pick them or no, when when they roll down and hit each other. So, if you took the black one, two yellows go together, you get those, right? >> Isn't that potion?
>> No, there's definitely potion exposure. >> Exactly. >> Oh, we should play that one next. No, it's wrapped up. It's not available. >> Microwave marble. All right, I'm going to bounce. >> Yeah, we're good. Okay. >> I love you. Have fun. Am >> I your favorite? >> Do I have You're 100% my favorite. your face.
Emry, in your face. >> I'm Emma's favorite. >> I think Chris is Emry's favorite. It's not me. All right. >> Assumption that any of you are my favorite. >> You said you said I'm um Oh, so yeah, in between games the write up. >> Yeah, I got that. >> Okay, cool. >> All is well. >> Yeah, time will be at two in the stream and it'll automatically be set to run to the next one.
>> Okay, we're golden. Gonna be gonna be golden. We're gonna be gonna be all right. We ready for reals. >> That's my steam. >> We can do it. >> Wake up thing. >> Oh, is it really? >> It's so You know the part where they're like snacking out and she has the Kim up and she's like it has her holding the steam deck doing that.
>> That's happy. All right, I took my turn. Emry, it is your Oh, wait. You technically start. I cheated. Give me this. >> This is the first player of brownness. >> All right. >> You're her favorite she takes from you. >> We have to do it all over again. All right, I took red >> back from the teach. >> Yes, >> the tig.
>> And you said you wanted that one, right? >> I mean, >> she does have a red marble. >> I do have a red marble. And there's one red card I can afford. >> I mean, at the risk of being called a jerk again. >> Do it. Do it. Oh, can't play Gizmos nicely. >> It exploded. >> Yeah, >> it's a double explode.
Both the reds and both the yellows combined. >> Such a much funners. Oh, you're you're Josh Shadow Shadowski's hero. You're one person's hero. Congratulations. >> There I do have fans. >> You do have fans. >> There are tens of them. >> You have only >> I have one fan. >> I'll go here. >> Oh. All right.
It is me. Guess what I'm going to do? You guys have no idea my grand plan from here. These are my favorite. This is my key to winning is getting a lot of picks and a lot of build bonuses. It doesn't always work, but it works a lot of the time. >> Blame of two people that haven't played in a while either.
Really? >> I told you what I wanted. You're the one who cho both of you chose not to file it away. >> All I can say. >> I took a blue. >> There's two blue cards out there. >> You were a fool. >> Okay. So, I can just pay this marble to >> You can to expand your horizons. So, you can steal two cards I want now.
>> Yes. >> Well, two separate times, not all in the same time. >> All right, Jacob, what are you doing? Tell the world. >> There's just so many options, you know. Do I want this blue one? Do I want that blue one? I go with this one. >> Yes, I would take that one. Anything that lets you pick more. A, you're kind of cute.
The chat thinks you're adorable. >> Don't be fooled. It's my wife. She has to tell me that legally. >> Oh, is that really? >> Yeah. >> Oh, that is Lu and Moo. Okay. Well, fine. Now she won't be jealous of the chat. Thinks you're adorable. Um, is me. >> Is you. Yes, >> it's me. I'm going to expand my horizons and try something different.
>> Draw. >> I'm going to file this away. It's not a pick. I left I left a pick for one of you guys. >> Okay, I'm getting nervous now. This is the second person that said, "Don't the marbles explode like a potion explosion?" >> No, they don't. >> Okay, >> maybe double check the rules. It's been a while since you played, you know.
>> I mean, I have no >> It hasn't been that long. I played this game countless times. >> Maybe you just been playing wrong the whole time. >> Oh my gosh, it's right. No, >> every single time. >> It's the new variant. We're going to play it again with that variant. >> We figured we figured out like a year and a half after we started playing like a Red Dragon in that we were always supposed to start with the drink.
It happens. The first time we played Zulken, >> we played the corn getting completely wrong. >> And I think we were getting more corn than we were supposed to. >> No, it's you. Okay, good. >> I think we were getting more corn than we were supposed to. And it's a game where you're always struggling to feed your people.
And then we found out we were playing it wrong and you're supposed to get even less corn. And we just like cried inside. >> But then when we played it correctly, it worked. >> What did we play? We played something. And it wasn't until I started working for the dice tower. >> Boss Monster >> conveniently picked the blue one.
>> I didn't find out. My wife and I played Boss Monster and I demolished her to the point that she was like, >> "Oh, you did tell me." >> Visibly upset. >> She hates that game. She played it wrong. >> I went to Gen Con two years ago and I met the designer and I was like, "Yeah, I got to tell you this story." And he was like, "Oh, yeah.
You got to let her know that you totally cheated. You can't do that." that and I was like, "Oh man, like the last seven years of my life are a lie." >> That's why she married me. >> Cuz your boss monster. >> For my boss monster skills. >> Oh, wait. It's your turn, boss monster. >> All right. >> Boss monster beast.
>> Okay, so what does this say now? >> Uh, the art is very mid. Functional, but mid. I agree. I like the cover. I think the cover's cool, but the actual like this is fine. >> Well, the good news is I think someone will eventually pick this up that's not Sean >> because of the vassel law. >> Oh, no. Because Sean's not publishing games right now.
>> So, it's probably going to somebody else. >> Maybe. Maybe. On um on our 2.0's list, I put that I want like a whole bunch of the classic Phil Walker Hardings together, but they are like owned by a bunch of different publishers. So, we just need asthma to buy them all up and then produce the the Phil Walker Harding Classic Collection.
>> This would be a good Asthma day. >> Um, >> he needs to know what this does. >> Yes. >> Oh, >> it's a saying when I take a black one, I can also take one out of here. >> Yes, it sure does. >> We like the ones in this house. >> Oh, that gives me another option. >> Have you heard the phrase that you can pick your friends?
You can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose. >> Watch me. >> I will take that. We're not friends. It's okay. >> Come here, Jacob. >> I don't know. There's no black one for me to take and take advantage of this. >> Oh, no. So sad. Um, but there is a blue that I can take. >> Wait a second.
I get to pick. And now I get to pick one that I want. >> Yes, you pick one that you want. >> Pick one that I want. >> And you can cover them up like this. You only have to see the top. >> Take up so much space. Oh, >> so you can't see the artwork. You know, >> the mid work. The mid artwork. I'm gonna take blue, which gives me one from the top, which I can't reach.
Not that one. >> Should you get an extension? >> That one? Yes. You >> give them little grabber hands. >> Oh, so my parents have gripper grabbers all over their house. Like everywhere. Every room has one. >> We need one for the living room cuz my cat throws all her slinkies under the couch. She lets me take >> Oh, smart.
>> This one. Very nice. >> Okay. >> All right, Jacob. It's you. >> I'm going to build a yellow. >> And it's simple build rules, right? Like this is two black. This is yellow. >> Oh, it's so simple. >> I just throw this somewhere. Uh, and I get to pick one that I want. >> You do. >> And I'll pick a red.
Hm. >> This game is on BGA. >> It is on BGA. I'm gonna take this yellow, which doesn't give me any gizmos, but in the future it will be wild. >> Do I need it wild? I don't know if I need it wild, but for now, it is what it is. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. I had I had an idea and it just happened into the wind.
>> Whizzled into the air. >> I'm going to take stupid question. Build a yellow. Build a red. Pick one of these. >> Pick one. Yep. >> I'm going to file the one I didn't talk about. >> Look at the camera. >> Oh my gosh. You can. Awful. That's it. That's why you wanted to sit there. See, I was going to sit in that chair and then you insisted.
>> If you're not cheating, you're not trying. >> When I build a red, I get to pick. >> Oh, >> sorry. >> It's a convention hat only. >> Okay. I think that I want to use my wild my amazing wild yellow to build this right here. >> Yeah, wild seemed pretty good. >> Have you ever seen an amazing wild yellow in action before?
I >> have not. >> That was that was mild. That was a mild wild. >> Wait till you combine the wild with other wilds. >> It's crazy in here. What are you >> doing with my life? >> Wild and wild and wild and wild. >> I love that face you're making. You're almost there. You built four gadgets. >> I built five.
>> Oh, you did build five. >> Not really five, but we always start with one. >> That's the one I wanted. Emry. >> Sorry. >> The heck. It's all he ever wanted. Yeah. >> Oh, so you know how >> in sync like made a resurgence with the young kids a couple years ago? >> My daughter was singing an insync the insync in sync song the other day in response to something that I said just like in the back of her head kind of thing.
And I was like, "Oh my gosh, this is weird. She knows this song." Ooh. Well, I think see I want my blues to become wilds. I would like that option. I'm going to research. So, I'm going to use my research of three. One, two, three. To see if I can get a blue building, which I didn't. Um, so I have to file one of these.
I'll probably file away this one. And then these go on the bottom of the deck. And because I filed, I get to draw one out of the top. Make it a black, please. Spank your hand. >> Oh, did it. >> Thank you. Were you going to give me yours? That was so generous. >> You're just teasing me. >> Just the absolute taunt.
All right, Jake. Uh, Emry, sorry. >> Go ahead, Jake. >> Go ahead, Jacob. Skip Emory. >> It's fine. >> He doesn't need a turn. >> It's fine. >> No one listens to me anyway. It's we're we're going to >> Where is the best Indian food in Fort Myers? I haven't lived here long. >> I've only been to a couple Indian places.
The one on um I think it's just called an India house or something. It's on um 41. >> It's not far from here right now, but I don't know. I don't >> Joe, are you in town yet? Are you officially here? >> I think I know he's coming in. >> He's here tomorrow. >> Well, I know he's coming in. I don't know if he's Is he flying?
Are you flying tomorrow? We need we need details. Yeah, we haven't been to Indian food down here yet. But I love Indian food. >> I do too. My wife does not. >> We always go with Joe to get Indian food >> at conventions. >> We'll do some research. >> I did a good one in Orlando with um >> Okay, I'm done.
>> Oh, >> I don't know what you did, but it looked amazing. >> I'm in a a file. So, I get a rando. It's not what I wanted. I get a pick. >> As a reminder, you can only hold six. So, you're getting close. >> You're not quite there yet, though. >> I'm good. >> You're safe. You are good. >> Build next time.
Maybe >> you're a man with a plan. Oh, you did give me a black one. I can build this. >> I If you build it, >> they will come. >> They will come. That is nice. Now I just need to have a benefit for building blue. >> This whenever you pick blue, you just >> I just get two out of the top. Yes. >> Your factory is so much more efficient than mine.
>> Oh yeah. Oh yeah. >> You're like German engineering over here. I'm like a guy with a crank. >> We have this guy we go to church with that's German and he's pretty awesome. He we got this electric piano that was missing all the screws in it to hold it all together and he just figured it out with all of his stuff at home.
It was great. >> That's cool. >> I built a blue. >> Corander is not so the lies. >> Is it me? >> Yeah, >> it's me. >> Unfortunately, >> uh there's a blue in the lineup. So, I think that this is a necessity. >> Money, please. >> Two more. She wants >> I could go with red because that also lets me >> yellow.
>> And then I'll pick blue and then I'll get two more. It'll be cha-ching. >> And then you'll have to discard down. >> No, cuz I'm spending the reds to build some. There's no reds out. Well, there's one red out, >> which would let me grab another blue and pull three out of the top. You going to let me have it, Emry?
>> No. No, we can't let that happen. We got to stop having fun. >> I can afford that one, too. >> I need to pick. >> It's not red, though. I just don't get the extra. >> All right, so I'm going to pick. I don't get any bonuses for picking. It's not great. >> No, you don't. You just get them for building.
All right. Um, well, because Emory so rudely took that red card that I only get a mildly positive turn. There we go. It's not as good, but I will accept it with grace and dignity. >> Good on you. I wouldn't, but do you? >> I don't know. You're always full of grace and dignity, except when you're, you know, crying and weeping in a corner.
I have not been to Indie Breeze, Joe, but >> that is >> half hour away usually Cape depending where it is in Cape. >> M 4.9 is pretty good. >> Yeah. >> Is that the spice level? >> I want to file. It's always important when um like Thai restaurants or Indian restaurants tell you what the scale is out of because sometimes they say like how hot do you want it and you don't know if it's out of five or out of 10.
They're like a two is very different when it's out of 10 than when it's out of five. >> I'm going to build. >> Oh, he's building. Oh, he's building. All right. M good choices. I'm going to take glass blue. This is like the last opportunity to have my amazing doubleness. Thank you. >> Yeah. Mahir took us to a really good Indian place in Orlando when we were at Dais.
>> Yeah. >> Was the one across the street? >> No. No. It's um it was like a 20 30 minute drive. >> Oh wow. >> He was just like, "Yeah, this is a spot, guys." advice. >> I had a plan. My plan still working. Is it still going to Yes. >> All right. The question is, who are we from the chat? Um, I'm Wendy.
I work the library, so I keep all the nice convention library fancy. Emmery is our marketing guy, so he uh earns the Dice Tower money. And Jacob is a friend. >> Yeah. I brought Joey to his first Dice Tower East, and that's when Tom met back with him and hired him for the Dice Tower that year. >> Nice.
Yay. >> And Joey married you? Yes, she did. We're not married. He did officiate a wedding as Gand >> Yes. Oh, >> okay. I am wanting to do a thing. >> So, I had heard about the Hobbit wedding as Joey was preparing for it, right? He kept talking about this Hobbit wedding he was doing and I didn't know you at the time.
And then when I finally did meet you, no one told me that you were the Hobbit wedding until like three weeks ago. That's when I finally found out. I was like, "Really?" Yeah. >> Oh, it makes sense. I see. >> It was at um >> What's the exit that you guys live off of? >> Um >> if you want to stay on the street uh >> What's your mother's maiden name?
Where are the last four of you? >> 555. >> No, it was over by where where you live. There's a place you can eat over there that they have like a farm and everything. >> Buckingham Farms. Is that Buggingham Farm? >> It's very good place. >> Oh, nice. I I did go there. Joey took us there. All right. I'm building red.
So, these two red. They let me pick I'm going to pick a yellow, which gives me one out of the top. And these go back under here. >> Joey doesn't take me places. Ever since the incident? >> The incident where you wanted him to dress up like Gandalf? >> No, I wouldn't I wouldn't request that a friend.
>> Hey, he said it to my wife on the phone and he was joking, but he said it to my wife. So, >> she's like, "Yes." >> That was her reaction. >> Is this anytime you vote a red, you just get a point? >> You do every time. >> I will take that. >> Reds are no longer pointless, by the way. Yeah, the points are all on the top.
>> You've already built enough reds. >> And I built a black. >> Mhm. >> So I can pick Oh, wow. >> A color. You want yellow black? >> The one time I don't have like >> Steelers. >> No, there's blacks. And then you get two out of the top. This is perfect. >> Oh my gosh. >> You can pull a Wendy right now.
>> Oh >> yeah. >> Oh, still efficiency. Efficiency. I >> you got to dig in this game occasionally. You were getting close to this one though. But then you can't uh build ever again after I build. >> No, it's a discounted building. >> So, you get to pick two. Huh. >> There are some that like you can't build anymore for the rest of the game or you can't do anything else.
>> Oh, Joe wants to meet your wife. >> No, you don't. >> She's amazing. >> She's so much cooler than me that like I just become complete nonsense after people meet her. So >> that's always >> I would still like respected. >> All right. Is me. >> Yes. >> Look who has three blues. I can build this. So because I built a blue, I get a point.
No, I get to pick. Guess what color? I'm going to pick a blue. Two more, please. Thank you. All right. There we go. >> Okay. Mine is not going to be. >> I have eight cards. >> A great turn. >> You have eight. Jo or Emry is seven. Did I almost call you Joey? Yes. Am I bad with names? Yes. >> It hurts every time.
>> I apologize in advance to anybody that I've ever called the wrong name or I just smile. I I do get to the point where I just >> pretend like I know everybody because I don't know who I don't know. >> I'm just gonna >> It's not like Splender where you can just spy from the bottom. >> You should probably move up to get a few more points.
>> I built a yellow so you get to pick. Give me something good to eat. I'm >> pick this blue and get it random. >> That one's tempting. Okay, so I'm going to spend these two and my one yellow. That's wild. To build this one, which was blue, which lets me pick a black, which lets me get one from the top.
build a wild card and get two picks. >> This is one of those games that I wish there was expansions for. >> You know, there's expansions of Potion Explosion. >> Yes. I also love that game. That game is is an app game though, just in real life. >> Just all marbles all the time. >> Oh, yeah. >> It survived in my collection for so long.
>> Oh, yeah. >> So long. >> Until I took it from you, not knowing it was yours. >> Oh, yeah. So Emmery Emmery donated a game to our the the swap that we have at the retreat and he was like, "Hey Wendy, I donated a game. You should just grab one." And I was like, "I don't really need a game." So um you told me something to grab, but then you took it or something like that.
So anyways, the game that he wanted me to grab on his behalf wasn't there. >> Dennis Island. >> Yeah, cuz you you got it already. >> Yeah. >> So I was like, "You know what? I love Potion Explosion. I'll grab that." And sure enough, he that was his his copy. He could have just handed it to me and not done the whole rigaroo shebang.
>> It was still good fun. >> It's a good >> And I know it's being taken care of. >> It's a good game. Does your daughter want it back? She missing it. >> She She was really big into it until we got 12 Rivers. >> Yeah. >> I think the the conjoining rivers and like being able to block it off made her and it's purple.
>> When is she coming to this game? When is she going to be advancing to this stage? >> I don't know. Not yet. came home. I came home the other day and she had like six of my board cuz we moved a lot of my board games to put Christmas stuff up and she had moved like six of my board games, taken out all the pieces to Azul, put them in like their patterns and had the boards like lined up.
It was like the scene in Suicide Squad where the Joker is like laying in the room with like all the knives around him and it was just that. But it was board game stuff everywhere and >> I was like, "Oh man, I'm going to teach you how to clean up a board game today. >> This is what I wanted." She was summoning a board game demon, >> but she um she likes the um she likes the idea of Pokemon Splender, but she has a really hard time not understanding that it's not the game.
>> Yeah. >> So, she's like, "Why do I need an Ultra Ball for a Weedle and it's like you just have to match the symbols." >> Oh, so the theme is like helping and ruining it at the same time for her. Do you want to give that a little shake so we can see the next one that comes around? Still nothing. >> Get in the hole.
Get in the hole. Where is it? >> Come on. You can Oh, good little blue marble. >> Oh, you just cheating. >> You're not supposed to look at it. >> The point is you can see it. That's the point of it. >> Next one. >> Cheater. >> It's blue. I can't get to it. >> Um, all right. >> If if you played with the correct rules about the exploding scene, be fine.
>> I wouldn't know. Hey, DJ Dan. Um, okay. I did my researching of three. They all suck. I really wanted a black one. Um, I'll take I'll take that one. Good enough. Okay. I wanted a black worth more than one point. That's what I wanted. I wanted a level two. >> Any point is a good point. >> Okay. But not worse.
I wanted one I could afford using the maximum most amount of marbles that I could afford. >> I'm going to build Maybe you need to increase your marble collection. >> I do. >> Which gives me a point. >> There's not many of those that have been out. I guess there's that. >> And let me pick a marble. I will pick a black.
>> Look at you go. >> Oh my gosh. Game really wants me to get this one. >> And there's no blacks out. >> Okay. Well, >> well, one of those a turn gets to be a wild. Look on the bright side. >> I totally forgot about one. >> All right, it's me. >> I can't have this many marbles. >> Yeah, you just have to put back the ones that you just took.
Um, well, well, friends, >> I lied. I can't have that many marbles. Give me the blue bag. Oh, yeah. Cuz you have six. Look at that. All right. I'm going to go ahead and just do this. That gives me a red. The red gives me a point and a pick. I'm going to pick another black for Emry's sake. And I'll take one off the top, please.
>> No, Joe. It's not small roll. That's Gizmos. It's on the box. It's not a small world right now. >> Okay. >> Hey guys, don't the marbles explode like a potion explosion. >> They should. >> Telling you. >> Never heard that before. >> I had a plan. >> Oh, yes. I'm going to turn this into >> That's why they made the thing plastic cuz they kept exploding.
>> That's true. They probably should have made it metal and have like exploding proof glass over the top of it. >> I'm going to build that. >> Which lets me take >> Oh, yeah. >> You blew it. >> Wait a minute. >> Do you want one? That's five. >> Wow. >> I see things I might want. >> That is useless. I will take >> a yellow blue.
You could have had three more blacks and gotten a discount every time you build from researching. >> Had the yellow. Oh, I could have thrown away the yellow, couldn't or >> am I allowed to take more than this? >> You have to leave what's there. >> Oh, dang. Jacob is planning to have it all. He's going to have his cake and eat it, too.
>> Rowan, have four cards. Yeah, it was down to three on your turn. You had one less choice than you were supposed to have. >> Oh, I cheated myself. >> You did? It was very sad. We all cried on your behalf. There's so much yellow in the market and no yellow available. >> That's why you research. >> I'm sick of researching.
All right, I'm going to build this. >> You've never researched. Never seen it happen. >> I've done it like four times. >> Never seen it. That's not >> That's not where it goes. See, look. You're distracting me. I've built a blue card, so I get to pick one. I'm going to pick another black. Oh, I built a blue card and I should have picked one.
>> They have one out of the top. Please make it black so that I have six bucks. Yellow's fine. I will take yellow cuz it counts as two. >> I thought I had a cool idea. Turns out I did not have a cool idea. I did have a cool idea. >> Was it a warm idea? >> Cool ideas. >> Uh, this will be another yellow >> noise.
What's better, a cool idea or a lukewarm idea? A really hot idea? >> Yeah. >> Why don't we describe ideas as boiling? >> I don't know. I'm afraid to answer Joe's question. >> What? >> This just means I can't file person. He did this. You did this last year, right? >> I think >> I didn't do a 30-year marathon.
I did one um >> flash marathon. >> One flash marathon. When >> When did we play Deep Sea Adventure? Whatever that one was. That was the end of the Kickstarter last year. >> Oh, >> because as soon as we got done playing Deep Sea, remember I ran out because I knew Kenny was going to come with the ear horn and I can't do jump scares.
>> Emry punches people. Oh, I still can't afford this. Oh, I can afford this because this is wild, right? One, two, three, four, five, six. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12. I definitely watch Sesame Street with my child on occasion. Where does this go? Here. So now when I build from researching, I get a discount and it was black.
So therefore, I get to pick two and gain a point. >> I like that one. >> I will take the blue and two out of the top. and a let me see what those are first. Blue two out of the top and then a black and one out of the top. Thank you. It's like I didn't even take a turn. >> I'm stupid. >> Did you ever watch Sesame Street as a kid?
>> Here and there. I was a Barney kid. >> Oh, were you? That was not allowed in my house. I was a kid. >> My parents were like, "Barney is going to show up at your elementary school and all the kids are going to run away with them and he's going to kill all the kids." That was that was how my parents felt about Barney.
>> But we Sesame Street was required like that was educational time as my child. >> You ever watch the Ed Norton um Robin Robert? >> Oh, is it get >> Yeah. Get smoochy or something? >> Yeah. that I guess >> it's it's like it's like he's it's he's a big dinosaur but they're like two ma competing ma mascots for a TV show and they're fighting and stuff.
>> Yeah. Like Rob Williams is kind of like the almost like Captain Kangaroo like Bozo the clown Mr. Rogers kind of guy and he's being outdone by basically Barney and he's like basically devised his plan he's going to go and kill him. >> Oh. So definitely a kid show. >> Yes. Yes. >> Kids movie. You kids can watch all the Robin Williams movies.
>> Yeah. Every single one. >> Even his stand up. So good. >> Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure. >> The medicine. >> Keeps it P. >> But not Hook. Hook is too intense. It's >> cuz it has the boooo box. >> Yeah. And the food hook was my thing. >> No one puts Glen Close >> in the boooo box. >> Is your turn. >> It could be his turn if you wanted to be.
>> I'm keeping it flowing. Sorry, I'm camera shy. >> Take a turn. You were just telling me about the boooo bunny or boo boo box. >> I know. I'm This is why I don't >> This is why they don't let me on live, please. >> This is This is a I'm taking a chance, okay? Because if I can't build it, I can't file it anymore.
>> Take a chance on me. >> Sure. >> I'm on your TV. You did it. >> And I built a bread. Wow. >> So, I get to pick two. >> Kenny is doing something with styrofoam out in the other room. I don't know if you guys can hear. >> He's a wrap in it. >> It's a squeaky. Oh, it's a saran wrap. That's what it is.
>> That's what I do at work. >> All right, I'm going to research for and I get a discount if I do so. And I like this one. So, I'm going to use only two of these because cheap discounts are nice. Um, I get to pick two and I get a victory point. So, I will pick black and take one out of the top. See what happens.
And I guess I'll take the other black. And that's all she wrote. >> Okay. What am I doing with my life? >> But now I can hold eight. That's exciting. And I can research six. And one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. Okay. And I can almost build this. No, I can build this. Okay. I had an idea and it just kind of fluttered.
>> Okay. Gonna use this as a yellow. >> You know, I've never played >> Clank Catacombs. I played regular Clank once >> and I only thought it was fine. Didn't love it. >> I played regular Clank a lot >> and I haven't played since >> Clank. >> I love Clank Catacomb. >> Catacombs twice. I think I like it, but I'm too invested in Clank.
Go again. I got to waste one built a red. So I get two pigs. Sweet. All right, I'm going to build this. So this counts as two. This counts as one. So that's three. I'm building this and because I built a yellow, I get to pick one. I'll pick a blue and two out of the top. >> I loved Clank Legacy 2. >> Clank what?
>> Legacy 2. >> Oh yeah. >> Uh but Remy was done playing it by the time we're done playing it. He he didn't want win any games. >> I just felt like with regular Clank that I didn't get a lot of the foot card or like the movement cards. I just felt like it wasn't that much fun. That's your fault. You should buy them.
>> They kept coming out on Chris's turn >> and someone else's turn. I don't know. I don't remember who I played with. This was a long time ago. >> Did you try? >> Don't play with Chris. >> Kachchow. Kachchow. Look at you. You built a blue. What do you get, good friend? >> Oh, I do get stuff. >> You do get stuff.
>> Have you been cheating yourself? >> Probably have. looking at this point thing and I'm like, I don't know. Maybe >> you're at 14 cards. You're getting close. >> Uh um I'll take a >> um I am happy to play Gizmos in any form or format. BGA >> real life. There's something fun about the tactile nature, but also I could play it more often if it's on board game arena.
>> You took blue. Oh, I took a blue. I can tell. >> Look at that. I wanted to. >> And there is something fun about just playing it like this. What do you guys prefer? BGA or real life for this. >> I don't I I find BGA fine, but I just never play it. >> All right. Is me Oh, I am one shy, which means I have to do something with black.
I'm going to go ahead and research again. One, two, three, four, five, six. And we're going to build this one. One, two, three. And because I built this one and it's black, I get to pick two and gain a point. I'll pick a blue and two out of the top. And then I will pick the I'll pick a black and nothing because I'm full.
There we go. >> Okay. Don't build >> people. Okay. So, have we thought of doing a series where people send pictures of their collection and then you rate them? Interesting. I I don't know. I always worry that I don't know enough games. I feel like I know a lot of games. I know Tom would do it and be really mean to people and he would have fun with that.
>> He'd be amazing at it. Chris would be amazing at it. I would look at your collection be like, "Oh, I know the games I like from it. I can't make fun of that." >> I I've watched a few of those with um like paint like uh there there's a guy that does painting professionally. He does on YouTube and rate people's setups where they paint.
>> Oh, that's cool. >> And then you you get roasted because your setup's real bad. I really like there's a guy that um he remakes a lot of the Tik Tok recipes that are supposed to be healthy and then he rates them. That's probably my favorite one of the rating things. >> Oh, I uh >> Yeah, I don't I don't watch that.
>> You don't watch healthy recipes or you don't watch Tik Tok? >> I don't watch. So YouTube, every time I go on to go like look at comments on YouTube and stuff, it like automatically puts me on YouTube shorts >> and then I get like sucked in. >> Yep. >> And it's terrible. It's not healthy at all. >> Points for each color you have in your thing at the end.
>> Yeah, you can spend seven of anything and then Yeah, one point per. That's That's a nice one. >> How do I just go for this five pointer? Yeah, I'm going to go with guaranteed points. >> You sure? A boat's a boat, but a mystery box could be anything. >> It could even be a >> boat. And when I pick So, I got two from here.
Oh, no. You only have to read them once. So, you want them from there. >> One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. You got seven marbles. All right. I think I'm going to go big. Oh, so what? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. This is the last one. If I can build.
>> He's at 15, too. >> Oh, I was going to build this one. This one is guaranteed five. I'm just going to do it. One, two, three, four. >> Then I want you to look at what you could have built and then >> and then cry my many tears. All right. So, I'm building blue, which gives me two points. One, two.
And it allows me to pick one. I'm gonna pick a blue and two out of the top because I can. All right. And since I started, you both get one more turn. And that is all she wrote. >> I know my level two cards are discounted. So, >> could you afforded this? >> Yeah. >> Yes, I could have. >> That would have been nice, right?
>> It's right there on the top for you. >> Ah, okay. Well, if I lose by two points. >> So, I can take a dry taken that >> wrong order. You know, >> I could have that wild. >> I could have drawn or not >> six of them, too. The odds were in my favor. >> I would like to draw six of them. Nice. >> Have you guys ever tried the um the rice cake?
Sorry, not rice cake, the the rice paper croissants. Like people make croissants. They make you like stick them in the air fryer. You wrap whatever you want on the inside of a couple people's pieces of rice paper. >> I don't remember what you told me about this. >> And then you air fry them. >> I don't think so.
>> And they're gluten-free and they're super crispy, but they're lower calorie because they're not like heavy breading and lots of butter and stuff. So, I've made them as croissants. And I think that's my favorite way of doing it than all the other fancy fancy healthy recipes. But >> I would eat this.
>> Turning these red magically. >> Ooh. I believe in magic. >> Oh, I mean, I'll take that one if there's none left. >> I just got the original um the original Libertalia. It's on my desk right now. >> Oh, the one that actually has pirates in it. Yeah. >> I've actually never played the original. I've only played Wings of Gilchrist.
>> I played both. Like >> I can't preference. Do you prefer the gritty or the >> or the animal? >> Like I think the the animal one did the game fine. It's just >> I mean I like the art on the original better, but >> I think they're both they they both play good. >> They're both fine. >> They both play good.
>> That's fair. All right. We done? Yep. >> All right. So, you're going to add up all the points that you have and add up all the little points here on your cards. >> And BG stats will forever hold this. >> I thought you were pointing out the calculator. I was like, "Oh, I'm really nervous now." >> All right.
This is one I've already paid. All right. What'd you get? >> 42. >> 42. I might have to recount. I think I got 41. >> 24. >> Oo. All right. Let me do this again. 1 2 3 4 5 6 11 14 17 18 21 4 5 6 7 2 30 Wait, 27 28 29 30. Now I got 44. >> Wow. >> Third try. Chat, help me. I can't do basic math. 6 7 8 9 10 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 2 1 2 3 4 25 2 5 26 27 29 31 32 32 + 5 is 37 39 40 41 42 43 >> 43 >> Three different scores.
>> No, I think it was 43 at first, but then I I changed it 41 in my head. Okay. >> All right. You >> It's a visual. >> I got the best score. 42. >> You did. You got the answer to the universe and all else things. >> Yeah. I could remember the whole quote. So >> I I finally read that book uh about a about a year ago.
Yeah. No, not even a year ago. I lived here in Fort Meyers. So sometime within the last eight months. >> Almost been a year. >> It has. We first moved to Florida in January and that makes it really easy to remember how long we've lived in Florida, but then we moved to the other side in May. And so that messed up all of our all of our logic.
Tell you what though, I love it out here in Fort Myers. >> Yes, >> I believe in staying. >> All righty. Well, that is Gizmos, my friends. >> You just need people to donate to the campaign so you can stay. >> Oh, that's true. We do need people to donate to the game found, which I will uh click that fancy button here in one second.

And we're back. >> And we're back. All right, that was Gizmos. And you know what? Just for kicks and giggles, we're going to pull out another Phil Walker Harding game in honor in honor of >> Wendy. >> Of sure of me, cuz I got to pick the game. So, there we go. And then at some point I'm gonna force Emry to play Sweet Lands, which is long and arduous.
>> Emmy, you love Sweet Lands. >> I love long board games. >> Well, you agreed to play games with me for like five hours straight. That's on you. >> You You knew, Emry. >> I knew. >> You knew who you were playing with. >> I was getting into >> I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just pulling stuff out.
Warian Park. This is the world's worst insert. >> I've never seen a worst insert in my life. >> This is part of why I want >> But you haven't thrown it out. >> The Phil Walker Harding Collection, you know. That's because I haven't processed this. >> Wendy keeps all of her inserts, no matter how bad they are.
>> Always. No, this one is not a library copy. This is a personal copy. And Chris has decided that it kind of works. It's Chris's fault. She said it. You heard it here first. >> I blame Chris. How is All is well. All right. These go starting from bottom or whatever. Highest on top and they're going to fit in their associated places.
Let me see a three-player game if you pull any out. >> I think you do. >> I think you do. Number of players. Three. We have 10 toilets, 10 playgrounds, >> 12 food streets, and 12 rivers. Who wants a tulip? >> 2, three, four, five, six. We take out the sevens. It looks like in the animal houses. >> The highest number.
>> Yeah, the sevens are gone. I need you to pick out uh three sets of those things that all match. They have the same picture on them just randomly. And then I think use three achievements. I'm going to guess yes. All right. So, uh, Baron Park is technically inaccurate because koala bears are not bears.
You have a violent frog agreeing with you one day about the insert. >> Yeah. Worst insert ever. Um, okay. What did I say? Rivers. 12 rivers. Will you count out 12 rivers? >> One. >> And then this here. You can take that. >> Three. Four. >> Those go on their matching spots. >> Six. Seven. >> There's another one missing.
Another one missing. 10 11 12. >> Perfect. We also need 12 food. Are these food streets? Yeah, I think these are No, those are the parks. Yeah, bathrooms. We need 10 bathrooms, 10 parks, and then faux food streets. These the weird single scorings. Yes. >> I thought that these were outouses on the food street, which is why I was confused, but they're not.
One, two, three. >> Anything can be an outhouse. >> You know what's always bothered me about this game? >> The French fry buildings. >> This It's not a nine. It's a six. Oh >> yeah, they did that one wrong cuz this one flipped over to be the right setup. >> Yeah, I can see that. But it fit. So they didn't have to have another board.
>> All they had to do is turn it around. >> They put all their money into the insert. They didn't have money to uh rearrange the graphic design on here. Okay. >> But yeah, this one they did it so it does >> flip over the B6. This one's just messed up. These are the bathrooms. Oh, >> you said we need 12 of these, too.
>> These need to be lined up. Um, I guess we can. They need to be lined up lowest to highest. >> Highest lowest. Um, no, I don't think so. Oh, maybe. Bear statues. We do. 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10. Uh, we have three through 14 stays in >> three. All 10 of these or >> there's just 10. Yeah, we use 10 10 playgrounds.
>> 8 n 10 and 10 toilets. >> Goes over there, right? >> Maybe. Which toilet do you prefer? What would be your toilet of choice? >> I mean, I'm used to that one, but this one's the attic, right? >> Cuz there's a bear in there that's going to eat you while you're using the restroom. That's horrifying.
Uh, >> I mean it's in the name. >> Chris told me that when he was a kid, he used to have like imagine that there were there was a lion in the shower. Like he was always afraid that if he opened the shower curtain, there'd be a lion inside and they saw Jurassic Park and that turned into a velociraptor in his like imagination.
Kids, I used to imagine that an alligator would chase me down the hallway. We had a really long hallway and I always like imagined in the dark that I was like, "What if an alligator chased me down this hallway?" I was not from Florida. I don't know why an alligator was a thing, but that was my like imagination.
>> I thought Jaws was in my toilet. >> See, I had my mom when she she didn't get into horror movies until she got pregnant with me. So, I was watching them from a young age. So, nothing really bothered me moviewise. No jaws, nothing. >> Oh, that's good. That's good. All right. You ready for Baron Park?
All right. So, in Baron Park, we are going to be building out four of these puppies and filling them all the way in. >> Oh, we have to update them now. Play. >> We do. I'll go do that. >> Do the checklist. >> That's true. I didn't do the whole checklist. It's a good thing we're not changing seats. >> I'm going to do it just so just so.
>> All right. I did play the marathon ad. That is correct. Oh, hi. Are we gonna Why won't it let me edit it? Oh, there we go. There you >> go. I'm a big girl now. >> Oh, it's spelled wrong. Need to abbreviate apostrophe over that letter. >> I can't do that. You're annoying. Okay, because I actually do spell stuff wrong.
Can't remember people's names. Can't spell things correctly. Useless. Useless Emory. That's what I am. Okay. Um, we are going to play Baron Park. Okay. So, yeah, we are building four of these out. Um, and you're going to eventually you build them as long as you build something adjacent to what you already have.
>> And it can't >> And it can't go in front. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You can't build a park in front of your entrance. It's got a This is the entrance line. This is the parking lot. It has to be behind the parking lot. >> All you have to do is put a cage around it. No fence. >> No. The bears get out that way.
It's not not safe for human consumption. >> That's why you put those bear crossing signs up >> in the middle of the parking lot. >> What are those? >> Magic. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um All right. So, on your turn, I think we all start with a certain number of things. Let me look that up really quick. Might as well start with the correct things.
I hate rule books like this. This is the worst. I can't tell where anything is. Um, okay. Starting player gets a toilet. Who's starting? Jacob, it's your toilet. It's your favorite blue toilet. You get to start. >> Okay. So, everyone gets a toilet or he gets a toilet. Second player gets a playground.
That's me. Third player gets a playground. >> And if we had a fourth player, they would get a food straight. Advancing. Okay. So on your turn, what you're going to be doing is you're going to be placing a tile down on your board. Starting off, you can place anywhere. However, in the future, you have to play adjacent to something that you already have played, and you're going to be covering up icons.
Um, the only thing that you cannot cover up is this little construction site here that is going to be filled up with these little bears, these bear statues when you've completely filled in a whole region. So, for example, if I cover up the cement truck, I can come to the cement truck area and I can pick one of these tiles of my choice.
If I cover up a wheelbarrow, I can come to the wheelbarrow area and I can grab any of these of my choice. Guess what happens when you cover up an excavator? >> You get >> you get one of these of your choice. Yeah. Okay. If you cover up the construction dudes, that's how you get a new tile. You can take either one of the top two stacks and once again place it anywhere adjacent to something you already have out and back behind your entrance.
You can cover up across tiles. Whoop. >> Can't build in front of your part. >> Let me see. Let me do this. Okay. So, I could cover this up, for example, and get two wheelbarls, which is fine. I'll just hold on those tiles for future rounds. You can only ever play one at like one tile per round. Um, but you can hold on to more.
That's fine. Um, and then yeah, you just we keep playing through. As soon as you fill up a whole region, you take the highest point bear statue, which is 14. And we're going to slowly working our way down. The first person who gets three of these things that have trees. What are these? The >> koalas.
>> The koalas. So, the first person to get three koalas will get the eight points. Second person to get three kals will get five. And last person to do it will get two. Same thing with the polar bears. And um the first person to have one of each of these different shapes will get that eight point. So we're basically racing to those things.
Also, any number that's on here are points at the end of the game. You um will have a maximum of four spaces at the end, which means that you can only get a maximum of three of the excavators. So just know that going in. There's only three of these you'll get. They also take up a lot of space, so get them early if you can.
Otherwise, you may not be able to place them. All right. Did I miss anything important, Henry? >> Uh, what happens if you >> you lose. >> Okay. >> If you don't cover up something, like if you have to cover something blank and you don't have a piece the next turn, then um you just for your whole turn, you have to take something from the wheelbarrow row.
That's your whole turn. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> So, you always want to try and cover up. And that's all she wrote. >> Cover it up. I'm going first, I guess. Here we go. Boom. Boom. >> Here we go. Here we go. Here we go again. You won't have a piece next round if you do that. >> Why are you doing this to me?
>> I'm letting you know. >> That was That was visceral. That was real. >> He already hates the game. Oh, first play. A The chat's rooting for you. You can win, Emry. They believe in you. >> I want a koala. >> All right. Is me. I'm going to come over here. I am also going to mix some cement and I'm going to grab the polar bear.
>> Why are you already cheating? >> That's what cheating is to you? >> I'm afraid to know. >> There's no rule, right? I don't there is there I have to >> there is from that point you have to play Jason. Yeah. >> Fine. >> Gotta follow the rules. >> Went there. >> But you can build multiple ways. >> Okay.
>> I'll build every way. >> I built this baron park. I built this baron park on goi bears. I don't actually know what gobi bears are. I only know that name because of this game. >> Okay. What are goi bears, chat? What's special about them? They sound like gummy bears. >> I like drop bears. >> Do they have goi berry juice?
>> They do. We have gummy bears. >> We do. We have a plethora of gummy bears. >> We have so many gummy bears. >> I want to eat some gummy bears. >> You want some gummy bears? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Between the next games, don't tell the chat. >> You can't eat gummy bears while we're playing Baron Park. >> Yes, that'll work.
Okay. Got it. He would too. He would bring us gummy bears. All right, you're up. >> All right, I'm doing this thing. Okay, I I get a barrel and I get one of these. Yeah, >> get a barrel. Oh, monkeys. >> Uh, let me get that. What? That three-piece. >> Yeah. Woohoo. >> The food trucks or food food >> funnel something.
It's >> food line. >> Food avenue. >> Oh my goodness. So, I lived in Maryland for just a little bit. Um, but I had never heard of the food lion, the grocery store. And so, people like of all different classes that I had talked to were kept talking about going to the food line to get food. And I was like, why are you all standing in a food line like I don't understand what's going on?
And then I saw finally the the grocery store and I felt down. >> All right. He's me. >> He's you. >> He's me. >> I'll grab him, Marlin. >> Do I want that? Do I want this? Oh, why did I take this piece? This piece sucks. I'll come here. >> Should have done that. >> Yeah, I probably shouldn't have. It actually really sucks, but it's fine.
I'll take a wheelbarrow. Yeah, take a river. >> I'll go here. I act like I was really contemplating that. the deep decisions. >> All righty. >> They are not sugar-free gummy bears. We uh don't want those stomach problems. >> No, >> not tonight. >> That does the opposite of what? >> Not while live. >> Oh man.
This is bad. >> Is it? >> Mhm. >> Bad. This is not what I wanted to do. >> It's just Bar and Park. It's okay, Emory. It's not the end of the world. >> It is. >> The bears are contained. They have not eaten anybody. >> It's the end of my world. Um, yeah. Okay. >> All right. Well, I already broke Emry and we haven't even pulled out Sweet Lens yet.
>> Wait, don't don't look at me. I'm trying to trying to figure it out. Silence. >> Oh, it doesn't work that way. I hate this game. >> They played Tidal Blades here. >> The second one. Yeah. >> And then um >> we did Carnival with Carnival something. >> Yeah. >> That Z brought. >> And then what' you guys play with me or what did they play with me right right before we hopped in?
>> H Hello or something. Mhm. >> Yeah. Names are hard. >> Was there anything between formid formidable farms and >> I don't know cuz I was on the way here from >> Oh, okay. >> I think it was just Title Blaze. We played like two or three games of Title Blaze. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, cuz they did like kind of a mini campaign, right?
>> They Well, they did two two games, I think. >> Yeah. >> I'll take this one >> and then they had dinner. Put you here. >> Oh. Oh. Oh. He won't do it. He won't do it. >> How do you have three tiles down on your board? >> Didn't he start? >> Emry's cheating. >> Am I cheating? >> Roll the tape. >> No, cuz he >> This is my first turn.
>> What did you do your first turn? >> Did I put this down by accident? >> Yeah, I think >> I did. I'm thinking I'm I was planning my turn for next time. Sorry. Don't mind me. You were thinking so hard too far in advance. >> I would like a river, please. >> That river be flowing. >> This is why I play solo games so I don't embarrass myself.
>> What is life without a little embarrassment though, man? >> All right, you good? >> You. >> All right, I'm going to get a tile and a wheelbarrow. And I want I like that these are by the each other. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Let's do that. And then I'm going to take I feel like I'm just living off of these rivers, but they're food.
They're food for the children, my friend. They provide nourishment and moisture to the world. I've been doing a thing. I was not supposed to take this. >> Oh, you weren't there yet. >> I was supposed to take this. >> We're cheating left and right. >> Okay. >> Why wouldn't I go for the eight? And I I >> Yes, I still get that.
>> You good? All right. You good, Emry? >> I am. Yeah. Just >> You're You're done. I'm done. >> What happened to your other piece that you got last time? >> Take your turn. Don't you worry about my board. >> I'm eating for now. >> Wait till sweet wins. >> All right. Get another one of those lines, please.
The three the food lines. First to fill up four, >> right? >> The what? >> First to fill up four >> um four squares. >> Yes. Okay. Four whole square. I was like, I don't know what you're talking about. >> Circle takes the square. >> Four a lot. I'm going to take the go because it's worth one more. >> And I'm going to take another one of these rivers because they've been useful.
>> Stop being good at the game. You're making me feel bad. Good. Feel bad. Actually, I think I'm going to take one of these. No, I don't want that. Yes, I want that. So stressful. All right. >> Is this your favorite Polyomino game? >> You can't say yes to that. >> I just love all I love so many Polyomino games.
It's very hard. >> Or like Planet Unknown. >> Yeah. >> H >> I played that once. Did I play that one? Yeah, I played that once. >> I played that a lot on BGA. >> Oh, yeah. >> I play it. So, I played that in Pirates of America. >> Those are like my two games. Unless Chris and I are >> I do love Pirates America.
>> Going to uh Chris and I during Gen Con played like 30 games of Can't Stop or something ridiculous. >> I thought about pulling Pirates America off the shelf before I got wrapped, but we've already played it live. >> Yeah. >> Somewhat recently. >> I almost brought my copy. >> You've never played? It's so good.
Next time we play games, not with a bunch of people watching us, we'll teach you how to play it. It's probably I think it's my number one game. >> He's doing it, my friends. >> We have to be perfect. There you go. >> You've almost filled it up. But now you expanded your park. >> I know. >> You expanded before you were done with that.
>> It's no longer better. >> That's true. Do you want to take one of these? >> Yeah. Would you like to? You need one of these? >> I don't want to do anything now. >> And >> after that joke. >> Uh, which one was it? Was it a wheelbarrow or a cement truck that you covered up? >> Cement truck. >> The truck of cement, >> which means I get one of these guys, which Oh, well, yeah.
>> Well, I'll just play Sweet Lens with Jacob and you can just sleep on the couch. >> Okay. Three hours later. >> I feel like you're spelling a word over there. Like if I cross my eyes. You want that? >> Get the slide. Yeah, let's do the slide. >> Get the sensor bar ready. >> Yeah, it's kind of looks like an S.
Kind of looks like an E. There's a C in there. CES. It's the the the giant computer thing. >> The convention. >> Yeah, the big convention. >> Electronics. Computer electronic sciences. >> There's no electronics allowed in Baron Parks. Is me. >> Mhm. >> All right. I'm going to place this here, which gives me two of these.
I'm going to take one of these cuz that fits perfectly. And then I'm going to take maybe one of >> No, we'll just take another go bear. High points. >> So, you got to >> you got to invoke your inner Chris. >> Oh, I have adapted like adopted a lot of his mannerisms. That's not one of them. >> My favorite is the Yoda.
I find myself doing it all the time. Something happen. Oh. Um, okay. So, I'm going to go here. Oh, >> gonna get my Baron statue. >> Oh, you got number 14. >> Yeah, >> you are a champion, my friend. You don't breathe. >> Um, it doesn't do what? Yes, it does. >> That's one of the most annoying sounds in the world, right?
Someone gasping for >> Okay, you said you wanted a >> a river >> and then that piece that you just took. Okay, >> Chris is on the chat. >> You can hear us now. >> I take everything back that I said. >> I double it. The camera's not there. The camera's there. >> Camera's that chat. Are you Are you done?
>> I think so. >> I'm still working. >> I think I'm done. >> All right. I I see your level 14 statue, Emory, and I raise you to a level 13. >> Can't triple stamp a double stamp. >> Oh, I can watch me. That was exciting. Oh, I actually covered up that. Oh, what did I cover up? A wheelbarrow. What do I want?
Put this here. I'll put that there. Put that here. Put that. Maybe another one of the rivers. I like rivers. What can I say? So, there's some of those objectives that are like have your rivers lined up so they flow. You have to have three rivers flowing. >> That's cool. >> Yeah, >> I like that. That one's That one's fun, but it also is a little bit of a mind trip.
>> Apparently, I've only played like Baron Park for Dummies because I've never seen those before. >> Oh, yeah. It's one of those that it it recommends it as like an advanced variant. >> Oh, that's why. >> But it's not that advanced. >> I'm I'm not that advanced either. So to you it might feel like nothing, but to those of us with simple minds.
Do your thing. Take this. Take this. >> Oh man. Take it back now, y'all. One hop this time. All right. >> Two hop this time. >> I don't know what I'm doing with my life. I >> should get a different job. One that includes a lot less bear handling. This might be a mistake, but it also might be amazing.
>> Oh, yeah. You can just go straight just >> Oh, yeah. We're just a weird park. >> Where are you playing? Let me play right into your area. >> I'm going to run out of space visually on camera. Um, okay. I covered up that. I got that. And I get another one of these. >> Oh, but this thing, this thing right here.
>> That thing is in the way. >> Just keep taking these. And I don't know why. >> Good enough. When we were played Sorcerer City, my friend would play on the floor because he would like because of the timed aspect, he would just be throwing stuff out and he would run into people. So, he played on the floor so we didn't do that.
>> Oh, I hate I hate sitting on the floor. >> It's my turn. >> Yeah, it's your turn. >> Yeah. >> I've heard that. That's well anyways I was watching cuz I have a little bit of knee issues and so I was watching a physical therapist talk about it and he's like yeah we don't people don't sit on the floor anymore and that's why we as adults have terrible knees is because we don't know how to like the muscles that you use regularly getting up and down from the floor help strengthen your knees and don't do that >> if you squat down it's what like for 30 sec I forget the amount of time if you squat down for so long a day like 10 minutes a day it's supposed to help your lower back and your your knees and your mobility.
>> Well, then that's good because I squat during gardening, so it works. >> Oh, that's dangerous. >> Oh, Chris is Chris is complaining that your name plate is in the way. Am I >> It's too move around. >> I was doing this. I was like, it's right here. See? >> See, it's right there. Cuz it was covering up my >> Yeah.
That's fine. I'll just play down here in shame. If >> you really want to look at things, that's crooked. Oh, now the bear statues are crooked. >> You just got to line it up with the all the L >> the L in all places. He's perfect. >> All right, you >> ruler he's done. >> Sorry. I am I take >> This is really breaking your brain.
Like I am just watching the gears moving. >> I never claimed to be smart. No, I just I'm fascinated. >> I like to make sure that like by the time I get a new piece, one is already almost filled. >> Yeah. >> So that basically when I get the fourth one, I know like >> So you're a completionist. >> I can kind of coast into it.
>> I just keep leaving wide open spaces. Is this five or four length? One, two, three, four. That's five. That's a five. >> Maybe I want a four. Huh? Not a five. Thanks for pointing that out. >> Also, I think I just finished this. >> Did you? Hey, good job. >> I would congratulate you, but that means you're beating me.
>> You have a a 14. >> Oh, it's me. See, Emry likes to come in with a plan. I just throw stuff places. Hope it sticks to the wall. >> Emry is also dumb because Emry covered up a Construction crew. >> Emry likes to be done. >> Emry likes to be idiot. >> Squatting is like is sitting on the couch. Lying on your back on the couch.
Yes, >> definitely is. Okay, you take your thing so I can take my turn. I'm gonna take this. >> Actually, I want to know. >> And that's a technical term. Yeah, like that. >> No, maybe this. >> Oh, there we go. I will do that and I will take this one. That's the grand plan. I did it. >> I'm going to play a river.
And I'm going to get a river. I was trying to think of something to say about your river and there was just nothing. I thought a river was like any body of water that stuck around. Like any stream of like a stream was a river to me >> moving >> growing up in the desert. >> Yeah, >> that's me. >> Yeah.
If it was >> in somewhat of a straight line moving, it was a river. >> Okay, this one is gonna go right here. And I'm gonna take this little park. Booyah. Hashtag winning. Oh, I got this one. Can I have the the three top bear? The polars. >> The polar ice cap bears. >> But then I can't have it. >> Do you have a favorite type of bear?
>> Polar bear. >> Polar bear. Have you guys seen the Wee Bear Bears? >> The what? the show the Wee Bear Bears. >> Yes, >> they're adorable. So, it's these three bears that live in a cave, but for some reason are like stand upright and talk and interact with humans and go to the grocery store and whatever.
And they have cell phones and stuff, but the way they walk around is they all hop on each other's back and they just walk and like that's how they get places and it's super adorable. >> Okay. Well, next turn is going to be pretty sweet. I grew up with >> But one of them is named Ice Bear and he's polar bear >> barrenstein bears.
I enjoy that. >> Oh, I like those books. >> Bear in the big blue house. >> Yep. >> And the dust bunnies under the No, that was >> No, >> that was them. >> Yeah, that was them, right? With the little like dust bunnies under the couch. Yeah. >> I need a potty. >> And I need a potty. >> I mean, if you have to use the restroom, just go.
We're not like preventing you. The shackle on the chair is just for show. >> I'm I'm definitely not chasing everything, but I feel like I need something. >> Chris is complaining. No respect, I tell you. >> I feel like this is wise to get even though I don't have a place to put it. And then a wheelbarrow.
Just take another river because why not? Most rivers is what I'm going for for no reason. >> You You do plop build them in unique ways like parallel and >> it actually goes underneath the bear. This is a whole like rapids ride that I'm creating on my board. It goes underground here. You actually get to see the polar bears swimming above you.
And then you pop out here. You go around here through the goi bears, which I still don't know what they are. Back through polar bears some more. Back through the goi bears. I mean, we're >> cheating. >> We're all over the place. >> All at the whopping speed of 5 miles hour. >> Nope, that's not what I want.
>> It's not really a roller coaster. It's more of like a tram. >> We'll take this one. And that's there. There's a park on Cypress, um, Six Mile Cypress, and they have a river with otter that like you can see if you're lucky and you go there, you know, >> it's like a park you walk through. It's like a boardwalk kind of thing.
>> You walk through the forest, the woods, >> and they have otter and you can see other animals out there. Like there boars, I think, running around. >> I need >> We've seen quite a few otter. >> I need to explore wildlife out here. Every time I go outside is to garden. I don't really Yeah, we haven't done We haven't gone out much.
>> I will take that. >> Okay. >> Have you been to the Cypress the Six Mile Cypress Park? >> I don't my house. >> You have a child. Your child needs to see otter. >> She can go >> all by herself. All right, Dad. Let me take the car. I'm seven. How old is she? >> She just turned six. >> Wow. >> I don't know why my voice got really raspy at that point, but yeah, she turned six.
>> Can you take more than four of these? No. >> Yeah, your park is done. >> Yeah, you're done. >> Now you got to puzzle it out. >> But you completed this. >> I just did it. Yeah, I just placed this. Oh, okay. >> Oh, wait, wait, >> wait. >> I did it first. >> Oh, >> sorry. I didn't take it. That's >> That's fine.
>> No, no, I'll take that one. >> No. >> Okay. You sure? >> Mhm. >> Okay. If I beat each three points as a tie, we'll shake hands. >> Never. >> You literally did it first. You get it. I'm great. Is it my turn? >> If I do it again, can I get another one? >> No, you're still grabbing stuff. >> No, I'm good.
>> Oh, okay. I have completed the second bear statue. >> That's my fanf fair. >> I did. I get nothing. But I have time. >> You get nothing. >> Nothing. >> Juven, >> I guess I go here. I think that's the uh that's the play. as the kids say it these days. Um, >> yeah. Oh, I know what I'm doing. >> All right, >> FB.
I know what we're doing today. Oh, no. It doesn't work. I tried. >> I done. Double tool it, please. It's where you can hold hands. >> Level enough. >> All right. >> Definitely got to cut that wall out of those two toilets. >> Going to go here. >> Let people have at it. Maybe make it a confessional. >> I have one of Nope.
I only have those two. I guess I'll take this one because it's worth more. Why not? Okay. >> You've been told what gobby bears are. >> Oh, go bears are a type of brown bear that lives in the gobby desert around Mongolian Mongolia. Huh. Do they do anything cool? >> They're bears. They're they're just automatically cool.
>> So, we have we have friends that live um that he works at Washington State University, so they live on like the desert or I don't know the other side of Washington State, not Seattle. >> Mhm. um on like near Idaho and their university just has two brown bears in like that you can just walk up and see.
It's just like a double thick cage kind of thing so you can't stick your hand in but yeah they just said bears >> you can stick your hand in twice. >> You have to like really maneuver to get those fingers eaten off. >> Okay, I'll take this one. I think >> yeah it's just a thing you can just go look at the bears.
>> Bears. >> Okay, that is me done. They also have this restaurant that does breakfast and they make evil fevers which I can't eat but apparently are amazing. Is me. Someone took my thing. >> Sorry. >> This is the worst. I revolt. Um I mean I'm probably doing this. That makes sense because I want one of these.
Who do I want? Gobi bears are extremely good at staring at people with judging eyes. >> I believe it. You know what? We're just gonna have the stupid long park. >> We're not even in the same zip code anymore. >> And I get a cement truck. So, I'll take this because I need one of those as well. Done. >> I am going to go here.
We're like one of those like other zoos. Like this is the San Diego Zoo and we're like the other theme park that costs half the price that you can go to. >> Tiger King sanction. >> Yeah. We're just like over here. >> They have like one really depressed monkey that fills up like the entire habitat. >> We went to the Dade City Zoo um when we first moved down here.
I went I grabbed this >> already. That was so fast. Um, and that was one of those Tiger King zoos that got shut down, but we got to go in and be with the animals. >> All right, I'm going to take this one. >> Get climbed on by lemurs. >> Yeah, I am. Which means I can't put these two on. >> Good. >> I'm not going to meet an objective, but that's okay.
>> You're going to be so good. >> I'm going to really have to figure out how to make the rest of this work if I do that. If >> only your park wasn't so long. You make fun of my long park. >> Zabaron Park is all about efficiency. >> The fishing sea. >> The fishing sea. >> Yeah, I guess I'll take that.
That's fine. >> Okay. >> A bear made this quote. >> Believe that's about the goi bears. They're believed to be 40 left in the wild and none in captivity. >> That's it. >> That >> Wow. >> I saw that pandas are no longer extinct. >> Oh, yeah. But like they're not on the endangered species. >> They're not endangered or they're >> I think they're no longer endangered.
>> Your turn. >> What do they call that? Like sensit not sensitive. There's another word for it. Where they're not endangered, but they're >> they good. >> They're at risk for potentially being endangered. >> Oh, wait. >> Don't be taking them. >> Thank you for the information on go bears. I appreciate that.
Also, >> if their fur looks like shaggy carpet, is it like soft microfiber carpet or is it like nasty from the 70s carpet? You know, >> I think of Wookies. >> Still in the same band. >> The Wookies of Bears. I think that's pretty. >> Yeah, but how does a Wookie feel? >> Is it like rough furry hair or is it like nice silken furry hair?
Donate now to the dice tower game found. >> Oh my gosh, you have a lot of singles, sir. >> I need them. >> All right, I'm pop this here. >> All the single ladies going to the Baron Club after this. >> Put that there. And I'm going to take a twofer. Not to be confused with a toeer. Oh, also if you ever get like a higher symbol that you can't use, you can take something that's lower.
>> Now she told him, "Yeah, I'm good." >> Before this, I was like, "You should probably tell him the rule." And >> he'll figure it out. >> I've really not been working towards objectives. Let's hope it doesn't bite me in the butt. So, I'm going to do that now. I'm going to take a single. Take one of the last bathrooms.
>> That one. Not that one. Take the other one. I'm going to go the same not get anything cool. >> They're both yellow yellow bathrooms. I actually imagine the blue one stink more. >> Your turn. J. >> They look more portaotty. These look more like actually a flushing toilets and real sinks to wash your hand.
Take your custo. >> You're welcome. That's it. >> I'm gonna take this and I'm going to take the last bathroom so nobody else can have it. >> This is why we hang >> like a jerk. >> Well, Chris is okay with you not leaving your house. >> What? Not leaving your h what? >> Yeah, he said doesn't leave his house and Chris plays online with him.
>> Yeah, that's fair. >> That's true. I think I invited you to a board game arena game once and you rejected me. I don't remember what it was. It was probably a game you don't like. >> It wasn't Pirates America. >> You rejected me. >> Yeah, it probably wasn't Pirates of America. >> Yeah, probably not.
>> Or Planet Unknown. >> All right. >> Or can't stop. >> Doing it now. >> Is it your turn? >> That should be the next game. Just >> giant tablet. >> For the next five hours, we will be playing Can't Stop. >> Oh my gosh. We played that so much during the pandemic. >> That's all you That's all she wrote.
All right. I have completed. >> Don't do it. >> I got two more turns. >> You all get one more turn. >> I need two more. Can I have an extra? >> No, you get one more turn. >> I was only first player. >> No, it says everyone else gets one more turn. >> No, >> I think >> this does nothing for me. >> Do you get another turn?
I think you get another turn. >> Equal number of turns. >> When a player completes all of their fourpark areas, each other player gets one more turn. So, you technically got one more turn than everybody else. >> Yay. How do you feel about that? >> Not good. >> Hopefully you not going for objectives helps me.
>> I'm definitely pulling out the calculator for this one cuz math is not >> But some of my numbers are upside down. How do I read them? >> You take them off and just put them >> I don't do that. >> I'm really proud that Board Game Arena like I searched the A with a normal A and it showed up even though it has little double dots over the top.
lots. >> Um lots. That's what that one is. >> I always get confused. The um lots and the LA and the Aren't there lots and lots? >> Sure. >> Probably. Okay. Oh man, we're getting the calculator. Okay. So, everyone's gonna add up their scores. So, first your bear statues. Go ahead and add all those up.
>> I just add everything up. I got 34. >> 38. >> Emry is destroying me. >> 27. >> 20. What? >> Seven. >> Seven. Okay. Go bears. That's all the little yellow ones. So have 19. >> You had this, right? Yeah, you have four. >> I have three. >> Koalas. That's the gray ones. I have zero. I have one that's not in my park.
>> 15. >> Nice. I only say that because it's less than my 19. >> The koalas aren't the gray ones. That's the polar bears, right? >> No, the koalas are gray. >> These are koalas. >> These are panda bears. >> You're right. Those are pandas. I have six more go bears. I'm sorry. >> Okay. Well, pick a bear.
Tell me the number. >> 13. Panda bear. >> All right. Polar bears. >> 11. >> I got 19 again. >> 17. Oh, 18. I missed one. >> 18. Okay. Then the other bear that you didn't do at first. >> I didn't both now. >> Mine's nine. Whatever last bear you haven't done. >> You mean the polar bear? >> I have 10 for panda bear.
>> 10. What bear have you not calculated yet? >> 11 for the polar bear. >> 11. Okay. And then achievements. I got eight. >> 18. Woo! >> 13. >> Wow. >> Did you get 91? >> 89 90 91 >> is a good game. >> Glad you kept these. >> Ding ding ding ding ding. >> Give you >> I was trying to steal the bathrooms from you, but you already had enough.

I'll ask you. And we're back. >> And we're back. And we're trying to use the worst insert in the world right now. And I don't know how Chris does this. Probably like that. Chris, if you're in the chat, I need a visual diagram of how this goes together because this doesn't make sense. Actually, this is probably toilets.
That's my guess. A tiny little bag. It just already had rivers in it. That's what I was confused. I'm sure that's a great sound on the microphone. Like, what what goes there? Nobody knows. Not that piece. All right, these puppies are going here. I guess these go in here. Back streets back. All right.
You know, I was thinking about pulling out Sweetlands, but we only have about three hours left. And I don't know. I don't know if we're going to be able to set it up, teach it, play it, and have it done in three hours for when Tom gets back. And I know Tom has a big game that he wants to play. Um, do you know what is he playing?
Aridia. >> It's a giant bag of gummy bears. Look, they can't see it on screen. You got to let the world see. Some big beautiful gummy bears. >> They're not Harbor. >> No, this brand is way better than Harborough. >> Harrow is too hard to chew. >> You like the >> You like the jaw aching pain. Oh my goodness.
>> No, I do like Harbor's. Um you can get a bag of all all pineapple. That's nice. All right, still organizing. Yeah, I think we're going to play Reef next. Emry has not played that. And everyone needs to play Reef at least once. Yeah, Swellands. Swelands was my second game of the year. Galactic Cruise beat it out just because I played it so much and I still love it.
But Sweet Lands I want to play some more cuz I played it just a couple times. It was so good. >> I still need to try both of those. And Wendy doesn't want to teach me sweet lands. >> I really want to teach you sweet lands, but I just don't think I have time. Last time I played it uh with teach and setup and everything, it was like 5 hours.
>> Oh, >> because it was long. He wouldn't even play Nemesis with me. >> I almost played Nemesis with you. >> First Awaken Realms game. >> Yeah, that needs to happen. Ah, I missed one of these. All right, these are just getting tossed in there. They have no rhyme or reason. Oh, if I put this like this, will it stand better?
No. Good enough. Oh, I forgot these. What bag do they go in? They go with the toilets. Bear statues and toilets. Perfect. Do you know what the thematic reason is why there's bear statues when you complete a part of the park? >> No idea. >> I don't know either. Makes you wonder if there is a thematic reason.
Hey, look. After I did that, I found the bag of bear statues. That was nice. All the bathrooms are falling out. Protect the bathrooms. So, when I was in ninth grade, I took a geometry class and we had to build a park. Like, we had to plan out a park and kind of like estimate the cost of the park and then we had to build a replica of what our park was going to look like.
And at the time, my I guess the marshmallow factory in Las Vegas had or near Las Vegas had shut down. And so, a lady my mom knew got 200 cases of marshmallows. Each case had 40 bags of marshmallows in it. So, we brought home like 10 or 20 cases from this lady. So, we had marshmallows coming out of our ears.
Um, and we gave them out to everybody we possibly knew that could take a case of marshmallows or 20 bags of marshmallows or anything. Um, and so it got to the point that I built my whole park out of pipe cleaners and marshmallows because I just had so many. But I also remember like going into so much detail researching like how much the toilet paper holders and stuff cost that I don't think our teacher was expecting.
Like he just wanted like super broad estimates of stuff and I was like, "No, our bathroom's nice. We have diaper changing tables. >> We fancy. >> We have wet white vending machines." >> Yeah. >> My wife. >> Okay. I do want I want one. >> Oh, such an annoying mod bag. Oh, sorry for the microphones. >> My wife is careful about what she says around me now because one time she said, "I want jawbreakers." And I bought her like a 5B bag of jaw breakers that she still has a bunch of.
>> Oh my god. >> And then she said like, "Oh, I'm really like s'mores." So, I got her like a little pyro thing to make them at home on the table. And I got her like a case of marshmallows and a case of graham crackers and a case of chocolate. And most of the graham crackers and marshmallows went bad before we ate them all.
>> Marshmallows don't go bad. >> Uh >> oh. They probably do here, huh? They get soggy >> and sticky. >> They kind of like they get hard and soft at the same time. It's weird. They like scale. >> Okay. Cuz I love the stale texture of marshmallow. like a marshmallow that's gotten stiff and you have to like like really hard bite into it.
I love that. That is a fabulous texture for a marshmallow. Not for s'mores, but just for like enjoyment of eating plain marshmallows cuz I love plain marshmallows. >> Also, when you have >> further to the side >> 20 cases of marshmallows and you live in the desert, >> they change texture pretty quickly.
Galactic Cruise is so good. I still haven't played it. >> Can we play that right now? >> Wait, my copy has sleeves. >> Apparently, >> these are good sleeves, too. >> Wow. I think we're supposed to take out a certain amount of these. >> We did four of each. >> Oh, you did? Okay. Are you teaching? >> Uh, you can teach.
I haven't played in a long time, but everybody gets two cards. I just need to know maximum hand size. >> Oh man, this brings me back to like Magic the Gathering days. >> These are f We did not buy these sleeves. We must have bought this copy used and it came pre-sleeved because we never sleeve anything, especially not with this kind of sleeve.
They have like the foils on the bottom so you know they're legit. >> I was really surprised by the color I used to play this. This was the color of sleeve I would play >> in magic. Yeah, this is one of my my my favorite shade of blue and that's why I asked if they were eclipses. Eclipses were like >> this weird.
It was textured but it was slick on the back >> and instead of having the color here, it was black. >> Oh, interesting. So you couldn't by any means necessary see >> the back of the card. >> Interesting. >> Four card limit. >> Four card hand size. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> So >> by any means of the imagination >> what happened to your name plate?
Oh, it's behind the preview mode. Okay. Yeah. You're going to want to move your stuff up then so it can be seen. >> No. >> Yeah. Um these go in the middle of your board. You can put them in any place that you want. It doesn't matter. >> You might want to look at your card and see. >> It really doesn't matter.
Well, okay. So, in the easy version, you place them in the middle. I think in the advanced mode, you can place them wherever you want. >> I don't remember. >> What am I doing with my life? >> Easy mode. Just put four in the middle. One of each color. Go. You've got >> Oh, hey. >> This is a piece of breezy.
>> I'm paying attention. >> Okay. So, on your turn, you can do one of two things. You can either collect a card from the market or you can play a card from hand. It's really complicated. >> Can't play from the market. >> Don't play from the market. Also, careful that wrapper with the the microphone.
>> Crinkle, crinkle, crinkle. >> Tom said he didn't care if we had the table. So, >> oh, >> they get um ASMR. >> That's true. That's true. I don't understand it. Like, I don't understand the ASMR thing. Maybe someone likes it. All right. >> It's a trap. It is a mental trap to get you to pay attention for eight seconds so they can monetize.
>> That's what I thought. >> All right. When they come in here to do Aridia, we can go out there and play Sweetlands. >> Oh, that's what Emry Oh, sorry. That's what um Kenny was doing with the Saran Wrap. >> He was ASMR Arenas. >> ASMR. It's a verb now. Okay. Um All right. Right. So, you're going to play a card and you gain what's at the top and you must place it on your board.
And then at the end of that, you're going to check to see if you meet the objective at the bottom. This just says for every like looking straight down, every orange tile that I see that is top down, I get a point. Coins are points. Points are coins. Um, all the above. The stuff at the top never benefits the bottom.
Like, it never leads to itself. >> Okay? That just never happens. Um, so to explain what some of these mean. So this says for every two tall towers with a green on top. >> Okay. >> Okay. You're always doing like looking down. This says for every purple and green that are next to each other. So if you had this, this would be one set.
You cannot do it again this way. >> Gotcha. >> They have to be completely separate sets of stuff. But if I had this, that would be fine. That would be two sets of that and that would be six points. All right, this is three tall. Let me just look through here. >> I have a kind of a doozy of a one. >> A doozy of a one.
Okay, this just says um pick a yellow on your board and you get two points for every purple that's around it. >> Sweet. >> In those areas. Um let's look through whatever. This is the same thing, just a different thing. Four high. This is just three in a three in a row in that exact formation. This is diagonal from each other.
Two of those two high with that color on top. Um I think that's kind of the I think those are the weirdest ones. Oh, this one is every four high tower. Doesn't matter the color. Okay. So I think that's most everything. Will you reshuffle this, Jacob? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Um so that's playing a card. So yeah, you gain the stuff, then you score.
So if for some reason I wanted to cover this up with green for future. I just kind of screwed myself out of some points. Don't do that. Um, you can have a maximum of four cards in your hand, so you want to plan ahead, but you can't plan ahead too much. Also, you can draw from the top card of the deck.
It's going to be the whole deck is going to be face up or flip that card's face up. That's fine. Um, so what you're going to do is you're going to take one of your points and you have to place it on one of these cards down here. It might be the lowest point one. We'll have to look, but I you either pick or it's one of the lowest, but that's how you get the top card.
And then if someone later grabs this card, they get the point with it. And Jacob's going to look that up. Um, and then we play till something. And you look at the end, >> you put it on the lowest printed value and then back. >> And then there's a tie you choose. >> End game trigger is I think running out of one color.
>> It might I think it's two colors. >> Is it two colors? >> Has something to do with these pieces. >> As soon as at least one color runs out. Yeah, you were right. >> I was right. >> You were right. I >> was right in all regards, I win. That's all I needed to win. I don't need to win this game. Oh my gosh, this cord is so long.
I keep tripping on it. Okay. All right. Um, Emry, you haven't gone first yet. >> I mean, I went first place. >> Oh, did you? You went first >> twice. >> I went first. Did I not go first? >> No, I'm going to go first. >> I went first in Gizmos, didn't I? >> I don't want to go first. >> No, no, no. Cuz you were supposed to go first.
She stole it from you. >> First stole it from you. >> Okay. Oh, well, I'm cheating from the get-go. I don't like any of this. I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to draw this one. So, this replaces There we go. That's my turn. H. >> I'm going to draw this one. >> Wait, >> that's cool. >> I'm going to skip you and draw that one.
>> This is when you wanted >> Oh, this is so loud. I'm so sorry. I'm just going to grab a pile, stick it on the table. I'm going to put them in screen. I don't know how clean this table is. >> You want a plate? >> It's probably really gross. It's okay. I know everybody that uses this table. >> Okay.
>> Do you 30-hour marathon? >> There's not that many of you guys. >> You did take the one I wanted. >> Jacob's like, I'm bringing all my cousins. >> Oh, I went first in Gizmo. See, I stole the brown thing from you. >> Yeah, you did. >> Yeah, I did. >> You did? >> Yeah. That's what I should do. >> That's right.
And he called me a jerk. >> You need to remove a Oh, yeah. I fix that. I eat a purple. >> All right. Play this. I get two greens. I'm cover this one. And I'm going to cover this one. Oh crap. Yeah. And then I score one point because I have one showing. I'm winning. >> Oh no. >> Oh no. That's the opposite of what I want to happen.
>> Is it? >> No, it's not. Yes, it is. No, it's not. Yes, it is. Okay, fine. Emmery has two orange tiles. This is a power play right here. He's setting up for his future card that we don't know what he has, but we can only assume. >> We know what he has. So, I'm thinking cuz I'm going to do >> I wasn't paying attention.
>> I'm going to play this. And I did so well. The legacy game with edible pieces. Didn't they make a edible katan? >> Technically, all legacy games are edible. Just depends on your constitution. It was chocolate a >> I don't need that much fiber in my life. >> It was chocolate. Oh, that. Yeah. No, but I think there was a chocolate katan, but I don't think you could actually play it.
I think everything was just chocolate wrapped. >> Weird, man. >> Also, it would melt in the mail. Yeah, setup does matter in beginning because I could have scored that but I don't. >> Oh, >> they're not next to each other. >> Guess you could have. You could change it. >> No, I can't. >> I wouldn't have known about that card.
>> Oh, that wasn't already in your hand. >> All right, fine. Um, I'm playing this one right here. I'm going to get Yeah, I'm get two yellows here and here. And I have two two talls. So I get four points. >> Two two tall toes. >> I'm gonna take five and give back a one. >> What you doing, Emry? >> Just hating life.
>> Crying inside. M. >> That's okay. >> Reef with gummy pieces. Oh man, they would stick together so bad. >> Like the old like 90s gummy candy that came in like that cellophane. >> You had like peeled off and it was like stuck to a >> fruit loop. >> Maybe something like that. But yeah, it was >> think of Airheads even.
No, it was like a >> it would be like a big gummy like snake or something and you could you actually like had to peel like the back off of it and it like stuck to that part. >> Huh? >> It was just weird. Maybe >> I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know. Maybe you ate weird candy as a good >> cuz you roll it out and pop on back.
>> It's a homemade cellophane. >> The candy was storebought. The cellophane was homemade. >> Two yellows, please. >> Thank you. That was really intense. I don't think it needed to. >> Two yellows and you know, clap your hands. If you need two yellows and you know, clap your hands. Now I know what all your cards are cuz you clapped your hands and you didn't.
Oh. >> Um. Oh. Uh, then I get six points because I have two, four, six. >> Someone thinks he's all high in my Oh, I was going to take that one. I forgot to take it last turn because I was distracted. It's all over now. >> You get them next time. >> I don't like any of that stuff. I have no purples. That is orange surrounded by That is purple surrounded by.
They're like the inverse of each other. >> Well, no. One's orange. I'm just going to hope something better comes out. >> Let's just >> No, actually that doesn't make sense. This makes more sense. I'm going to take this. >> Don't do that. >> Take it all back. >> All right. >> You don't want it. >> Planning for my future.
This is life insurance right here. >> Everything is horrible. >> Fruit by the foot. I guess the outside wrapper of Fruit by the Foot was selling it. No, that wasn't. No, that was the one in the little >> Yeah. I'm gonna see if I can find it. >> Fruit rollup was in >> It's bothering me now. >> I have no idea what you're talking about.
Do you remember those little like wax soda bottles candies? >> Yes. >> You would chew the wax? >> Yes. I was thinking about that when he was talking. >> I love those. >> Did you ever have abazabas or big hunks? It was like a white >> absity familiar, but >> it was like a white divinity. Abazaba had peanut butter in the middle and big hunks had peanuts.
>> So, here it is. It's like >> that looks disgusting. >> It's like this. The plastic on top is a mold >> to mold like the slime or whatever. And you turned it over and you peel that cellophane off and then like it had to like peel >> my parents would never buy that stuff. >> Slimes. >> No. >> Oh yeah.
Yeah. Here's a >> You know what that reminds me of? Do you remember the they had easy bake oven for like the girls that wanted to bake, which I did have, but my best friend at the time had one of the like the cool kid Easy Bake ovens where you put the glue and then it like heated it up and it turned it into like bugs.
>> Like a creepy crawler gummy. Yeah, creepy crawlers. >> Oh, I had a creepy crawlers. >> Yeah. >> Burned myself so much in that as a kid. >> I had a glow-in-the-dark scorpion. It was really cool. Is it me? >> Yes. >> All right. Now I'm going to play this puppy. Uh, what do I want? I want a purple and a green.
>> It's not about what you want. It's what you have to take. It's on the cart. >> Will I tell you what I want? What I really, really want. >> Do you remember? >> Yes. the McDonald's playset where you would like >> make McDonald's food, but like for fries, you had to you took a piece of bread >> and it gave you like the little square to cut off the crust and then you put it in the fry machine >> and it would slice the bread into fries and then you put um you had a little salt shaker which was cinnamon >> and so you had cinnamon bread and then like >> you had to mix crackers with something else >> that's so much healthier.
than fries. >> Yeah. To like put it down to make a little cheeseburger which was that little patty thing you made with two nil wafers. >> It was Yeah. >> I was like that said I am going to work at McDonald's and have the greatest life ever. >> I always wanted to work at Wendy's so I could have a name tag that said like Wendy's with my name Wendy underneath it and then I could say hi welcome to Wendy's.
My name's Wendy. I just it was my dream as a child. It wasn't. Mine was Subway. >> So, I worked at Del Taco instead. >> I told a teacher I was going to move to New York and work at the work at Subway. And she's like, "Oh, I love the Subway." And I was like, "Oh, no. The the restaurant." >> She thought >> Oh, I don't know how my daughter >> fully got into it, but she's decided she wants to be a lawyer now.
Uh, it was a baker before, but now it's a lawyer. She really enjoys reading, so she wanted a job where she could read a lot. And then she also wants to make decisions for people. And I so she wants to be a judge. I was like, "We have to be a lawyer first before you can be a judge." And she's like, "Fine, I want to be a lawyer." So that's what she tells people.
She doesn't even really know what lawyers do, but it works. Curses. Curses, I tell you. Cursed be. see her like giving the look like objection her just doing the look. She >> the stank face. >> You don't even go to my school. >> She saw um your wife and your mom in the car the pickup line cuz she walks to my car.
>> We see her all the time. I I felt so bad because I don't I either think she didn't hear me or she was actively trying to ignore me because she didn't know it was me. >> That's very possible. >> I was like >> stranger danger. I was like, "You think you just walk on any sidewalk in this neighborhood?" And she like beelined it away and I was like, "Oh, oops." >> Scaring children.
>> That's what I do. >> I got six points and I have no cards in hand. Oh, one thing before we get close to the end of the game. Um, any card that is left at your hand at the end of the game, you may score one time. So, you can't score it all the time. Like, you can't like score everything on your board that matches.
You can score it one time if you have the if you meet the objective once. Is it my turn? >> I don't know what I'm doing with my life. Oh, look. That was the one I wanted. Crisp related disputes. I like it. >> Extra crispy. >> That would be nice if that's what I had. Okay. So, Queen. This one is the sacrifice.
I will get a point. >> I have two yellows, please. >> Emry, have you talked about the Dusty Game Society or a little like Patreon thing? >> I have not talked about >> Would you like to take a moment for an advertisement, sir? Marketing man. So, if you join the Dice Tower Patreon, you automatically get included to our Dusty Game Society, which is where we play a new game or I should say an old game every month and then we have user reviews on it and we play it on board game arena together and just have a lot of fun with it.
So, something to think about after you donate to the game found. >> True Dad, >> are you part of the Dusty Game Society? You're slacking. >> Did you take your turn? >> I think so. >> Oh, nobody took cards. I was waiting for that top card to get cheaper. >> All right, fine. So, I get my >> four >> choice of the fours.
>> Get all that money over there. >> Money, money, money. I don't know what I want. Nobody has greens. >> You can only build four high. >> Oh, yeah. That too. They're got to all rules I'm not teaching. >> I was gonna say I don't think I'm gonna have a problem with that. So, Sprouts, we had a Sprouts um when I was in college, right near us before Sprouts got big and fancy and got all high-end.
It was like the weird health food store, but you could buy these by the scoop full. And I always wondered why they had an A on them. I thought it was for like Alvin and the Chipmunks or something. And then I found out about a decade and a half later that Albanesey's is the reason it's a brand name, but because they always just had them in like a scoop tub.
I had no idea. I just knew they had the best gummy bears in the world. It's your turn. >> I don't want it to be. >> Oh, but if I must I am going to do that to get four points. I am just going to >> Do they have to be touching? Like can I do this? >> Yeah, you can do wherever. >> Okay. I don't want to do that, but I guess I do.
>> Oh, you put him down. >> But you should. He didn't let go. >> Doesn't matter. >> There we go. Okay. I feel better about my life. >> I don't have any >> despite what Josh thinks. >> Greens. >> Well, friend, that's rough. I think I'll take this. Oh, do I want that? Yeah, I'll take this. Good enough.
>> She took it. >> I took it. >> She took it. >> I took it all. >> What was it? >> Is it me? >> Oh, it's you. Do you have a favorite movie, Jacob? And is it Lord of the Rings? >> I like Lord of the Rings a lot, but my wife likes it more than me. But >> really, >> she made all decisions for the wedding.
She's like, "Ling's cool. I'll be a hobbit." >> Nice. do this and not square it. >> Oh, it's painful when that happens. Which order do I do? Do I do? I think I'm going do this one. All right. Is me. Okay. I'm going to play this one. And I'm going to make that too high. And I feel like I'm not thinking far enough ahead in this game.
I'm just going to toss one over here. See what happens. And then I get four points because I have one that is three high. I'm going to trade in for a 10 so I feel fancy. All right, sir. It's you if you insist. >> Oh, I insist. I um I just ordered um a snorkel mask, like a two set snorkel mask. Uh cuz I'm going to try to take my daughter snorkeling, but she's not a great swimmer.
She can swim, but she's just not confident. And so I'm going to try and do like beachside snorkeling and I don't know if we're going to see anything because it'll be like foot deep in the sand. >> Should we wait until red tide and then >> just jump in. Don't mind the smell. And no, the the fish always die that way.
>> Actually, the last time we went to the beach, we were picking up shells and then we just saw a fish head like wash up on the shore. Quick question. >> If I have something like this and let's just, you know, for whatever, let's say it's that instead. >> Okay. Uh-huh. >> So, I would have points. >> You would pick one.
Mhm. That one. >> Okay. And do this. This. >> Correct. So, you would do those three. So, the six points. >> But I can only pick one, right? If I had another one that had green by it, >> you pick Yeah, you pick one red one or one orange one and then you count all the ones in those spots. >> Dumb. Emry is dumb.
But it's okay. >> That's six points. I don't see the problem with this. Do you see the problem with this? >> And I will get three points. Two purple and nine points. I'm going take this one. Ho ho ho. Yeah, I can't decide on a favorite movie. just uh have movies I really like, but I can't decide on one that's my favorite.
>> Really like The Martian a lot. I'll pretty much watch that anytime I see it's on or if I want to put it in just to do a good watch. >> I like the book, too, >> and I'm excited for his I read the book, his other book that's coming out, the Ryan Gosling movie in March or something. H >> we all haven't seen The Martian.
>> Is that Who's in that one? >> Matt Damon. >> That's right. M. >> It's one of those ones where people spend all the money to save Matt Damon. >> Can you reverse these so like I can do this? >> They just have to be diagonal. Yeah. So 10. But you have to put those down first before you score them. >> No, I'm going to put one on top of them after I score.
>> I don't know where I want them. I just want a three eye just for fun. >> We'll take this card. Project Hail Mary is the new one that's come out early. >> My favorite two movies are Pride and Prejudice and Inception. They're very different, but those are ones I can just always watch anytime. >> My wife would agree on those two.
I'm gonna take a card and have the cards. >> I'm excited about the Christopher Nolan's Odyssey. It was going to be weird because I feel like he tells really good unique stories. So, I'm curious how it's going to be watching a story that we already know the ending to, you know. >> Yeah. >> We just really had I mean, we kind of know the ending to Manhattan Project.
I knew that. >> I didn't see that one. >> That's good. Openheimer. You didn't do the Barbie Barbie barbby himer thing. >> Oh, you know I watched Yeah. Yeah. >> He's all practical effects. They dropped a real nuke. >> Yeah, they did. >> Is it me? >> Yes. >> The potential. I have to remember what I'm doing now.
Goodness gracious. >> I have three cards that work with each other, but not in the order I need them to. >> Isn't that the worst? All right, take one of these and one of They're stuck. I'm going to place this one here and then this one here. Oh, I just realized you all took what I wanted. That doesn't actually matter.
Okay, that's fine. I have four points for that. I'm gonna get another 10. What? Moving up in the world. >> Oh, I'm so far behind. >> Make change. You have so many ones. It's hurting my soul. You're still so many ones. Oh, it it is always funny when you have those games where everyone has like maximum number of ones that they can have and nobody else can get ones.
You're like, I just need a one. >> I'll take my one back. >> Oh, interesting. I think with what's happening here >> very greedy in this game. >> Yeah. You want to maximize everything. >> Yeah. >> Well, you're at maximum cards, so can't take anymore. >> We got lucky in the beginning cuz we were getting all the ones and twos.
>> Now we're in those three and four area. I'm going to take two per p. That's the thing is I'm scoring every card once, but I'm not particularly scoring them all a bunch of times. >> This next one I will score twice, but it's a lot harder. All right, this is me. Put these two oranges here and here.
And then I have these two and these two. So I get a 10. >> Going to do something not as impressive. But equally as devastating >> for two points. >> Oh, devastating. >> Did you pick up the wild twole high one? Because that's going to be amazing if you did. >> No. >> Jacob must have. I need Did you go?
>> Yes. >> Okay. Oh, actually, is there anything else I want? No. No. No. No. Maybe. That's not bad. Okay, I'll take this one. >> Give us the monies. >> That's a nice card there. >> You want it? >> I don't want that card, but I wanted this card. >> You want it? >> Can I take that card? Do I get the points?
>> Yeah. >> Yep. >> Yes. >> Green. Purple. Purple and green. Purple. Purple and green. Purple and green. Green and purple. Yeah, this game is fabulous. This is I love that you can't think ahead too much because if I played with really smart people and you were allowed to have more than four cards, they would decimate me.
But I can think four steps ahead. >> And that's a mid turn. >> That's a U-turn. Okay, I'm going to go here. Place that one there. That one there. And then I get six points. All right. Here. >> You have two yellows, please. >> Yellows are getting low. >> Don't do it. >> I do what I want. >> Yellow's getting low.
Low. Can't tell. Maybe a real dad. I'm worried about the amount of yellows that are happening here. There's that question of how long do I push my like big my big card, >> you know? Do >> we get negative for having empty spots then? No. >> Okay. Yeah, it's not it's not Rosenberg. That man loves to dock you points.
>> There's no animal breeding in this one. >> You don't have to feed your family money. >> Yeah. Okay. I get six points. Have you ever had to get to the deck run out ending >> 40? I don't think I have. I think it's always been colors. I'm trying to think if I've played this at four. Maybe the first time I played it.
>> Oh, there's 20s. >> Oh, there's 20s. >> Still not enough. Whitney, stop making me look bad. Interesting. Thems don't work for me. You just took the card I wanted. >> You're welcome. >> How could you? I was worried we'd run out of stuff before I had a chance to play it, but all right, that's fine.
It's a little a little sad. I guess I'll do that. So, 2 4 6 8 10 12. It's a little sad. Could have been so much better. Also, I'm cardless again. It's a bad habit. Don't do it. >> Take my four points. >> I was also going to take that one. Are we doing the same thing? >> Possibly. This is a problem. >> I gave you that one.
It's nice, right? >> No. No. It sucks. I'll take this one. >> Don't Don't do that. >> It's only It's only worth four points. It's very mediocre. Very mid. >> Oh, I'm supposed to put these out somewhere first, aren't I? >> Emry, how do you feel about the ocean art this year? I like it. >> You're a fan.
I'm a fan. I'm so excited they're finally doing a plushy penguin because that's our family mascot. >> My dice person shaved apparently. >> I couldn't find it until I was going through I was looking for our media kit. Mhm. >> And I always have I mean I do the marketing so I was you know >> I have a picture of all of us normally and I like to put my dice person in there and I couldn't find it and I was going through the file names and I was like oh here it is.
I'm in this one and I looked and I saw cuz I'm in my group I'm the only teal one and I was like okay well that's the only teal one. I shaved. >> You know what that means, right? >> I got to shave. >> You got to shave it now. Do you have a really baby face? You seem like you have a baby face. >> I do.
Every time I shave, because I usually shave like two weeks before a convention so that I can like line it up and make it look nice when I go to like meetings and stuff like that. And Tom always remarks that he's like, "Oh man, you look like 10 years younger." And it's like, "Yep." Yeah. Last time I was shaving my beard, I had really long beard and then I shaved it down.
It's like, "Oh, I went too deep on one side. So I got to even it out." And so now I'm regrowing Yeah, >> I remember that. I remember not quite knowing who you were at first. >> Chris showed me a picture of you without long hair >> and I was like, I don't Oh, I see it. It like >> Yeah. Yeah. It's amazing how much that affects.
There's this lady I go to church with. She's she's older, but the first like three or four times I saw her, like met her, you know what I mean? and then saw her. She was like, "Oh, I thought you were a teenager. Oh, I thought you were." You know, she just kept making these comments about how I looked like I was 16.
I was like, "Man, I look young, but I don't look that young." >> Stop being mean to me. >> Oh, don't like it. >> Do it. Do it. Hey, camera 11 just became a member. >> Hey, thanks. A Dusty Games member. >> Hash worth it. Um, maybe maybe question mark. I'll take this one. Oh, we're so close to the end.
No, I'm just going to play something. >> Don't play that one. I want to gives you a yellow or a red. >> Shh. It's only worth four. Sucks. >> I'm going to lose. But I'm really proud of how well I did. >> God, I'm proud of how well you did, too. >> Yeah. Okay. I don't mind being like five or six points behind somebody.
>> Yeah. What? What is that? >> Shh. Play the game. >> I don't want to. No, >> grab a card. >> Remember, you can score them one time each at the end of the game. >> They're all so bad for me. Um, but not that one. Not the other one. >> Stop. You're making me >> This one sucks cuz that one can literally only score two at the end of the game, no matter how many you have around.
>> I am going to take this in an effort to end the game on my turn. >> Oh, >> don't do it. >> Do it. Do it. Do it. >> Do it. Do you have any cards in hand? >> Doesn't look like it. >> Oh my gosh. I could have taken a card on my turn had I known you guys were out of cards. Don't end the game. >> Thank goodness.
Um, no. I want this one. That one's good. Score all my points at the end. You can end it at Emory. >> Don't do it. >> E stands for Emmery and end. They go together. It was meant to be. He did it, fellas. >> He didn't do it. >> He did it. Oh, and you didn't even score. >> No, >> you did it. Just >> finish out the current round of play.
>> Emry start. No, I started one more turn. >> Eight points. >> Nice. All right, but I get to score both of these. So, 10 points because at the end of game, you score. It's in your hand one time. W. All right, count up your score. Reef. All right. All right. What you at? >> 64 50 >> 71. There we go.
>> Wendy wins. I promise I have won a board game before. >> Don't play Wendy's favorite games with Wendy. >> But it's always against yourself. >> I think we have a really good matchup of pirates. >> Oh, I'm sure we would. I bet you're better at that game than I am. I love that game. I'm not great at that game.
You know what I mean? But I love it. >> I'm great at the solo part. It's been so long since I've actually played the multiplayer part that I'm not sure if it translates well, but Oh, I have >> You have orange. >> Orange. You're glad you waited till I >> said that. I'm >> not doing that. Oh, I remember when my daughter went through the trying to make up knockknock jokes phase, but not really understanding how to make a knockknock joke.
>> That's where we are now. >> It's terrible. >> Yeah, it was about that age. The problem is is the first like little joke that my daughter made was actually really funny and she's just been riding that high. So she'll like just tell the same joke in a different way and it's like okay this is time number like 16.
I love you but >> my daughter just thought it was funny if she added the word you at the end of everything. So knockk knockock. Who's there? Pizza who? Pizza. You It's like that doesn't make sense. >> Funny. >> It doesn't. Uh the next game. What should we play? >> Do >> I see if you and Jacob wanted to play?
>> I forgot about >> Oh, Emry's going to teach us. I want to play that. >> It's a very loose definition of the word teach. I will read the instruction manual. >> You've played it before, haven't you? >> Once. >> All right. Well, in the meantime, Jake and I are gonna play rock, paper, scissors while Emry reads a manual.
>> You know more of what's going on than >> Yeah. >> than we do. >> I'll just have to. >> It's a refresher for yourself. >> A refreshing refresher. >> It's Do you like like super crunchy? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Jake play anything. >> He's cool. >> Like Venos. >> He was even going to play Sweetlands. I was ready.
>> He was ready. >> Oh, wait. What time is it? >> Prepared. >> I wasn't ready. >> 11:40. >> You may We may not have time for it. >> Is it 2 and a half hours? >> It's super long. >> I didn't know it was super long. >> Yeah, it's super long. >> Wait, you love that game, but you won't play Sweetlands? >> It's two-player.
>> And it's super long. >> Yeah, but I'm doing stuff more. >> But Sweetlands at two-player? >> I do stuff 50% more. >> Okay. So, if I play Sweetlands at two-player with you, not tonight, but you would play that? >> Yeah, probably. >> Okay. It's good at two-player. >> It's good at two player. >> No is good at two player.
>> I played it at two-player with Chris. >> It's not good at three player though. Or four. >> Because it's a two-player game. >> Because it's a two-player game. >> Okay. Well, on that note, uh, join us for the not Kickstarter, the game found. Uh, support us there. We've got a little video for you. >> I'm Tom Bassel and I'm glad you stopped by for a second and I just wanted to ask you to consider supporting the Dice Tower this year.

And we're back. All right, they're all running doing stuff. I'm setting up Alta Plano. All right, so I'm gonna chat with you. Chat, who's all here? here. We still have a few people here watching at the moment. Um, how many of you have played Altaplano? And do you vote uh pro or Leon or pro Alaplano as being the best of the of the OG bag builders?
Let me know. Really curious. I like this one. This is my fave out of the two. Also, I have everything in bins. I don't They fit well in the box in bins, but they don't necessarily fit the game board in bins very well. So, you have to be able to see what's left. Yeah. Sorry, we're not going to be playing sweet lands.
I just don't think we have enough time cuz that's going to take more than two hours and we just have two hours left before uh Tom, Joey, and Rod come and play Aridia. All right. I don't know what colors anybody wants to be. All right. I don't need a score chart. Also, I have not played this one in a while.
Um, Jacob said he played this a long time ago. Years ago, he says years ago, right? >> Yes. >> Is your mic back on? >> It is. >> Cool. All right. We have contracts. We have boats. We have question marks and huts. Wow, I don't remember what all these cards do. This is going to be interesting. Those do a thing.
Everyone needs a little box. Do you have a preferred player color out of these? >> Black. >> Like the color of your soul? >> Yes. >> How about you, Emry? You blue? >> I will take blue, please. And I will take green because I I've been leaning into yellow too much and I firmly believe that I should not get addicted to one color.
And I started moving someone else's yellow piece recently and I was like, "Nope, can't be yellow for a while now. It's not allowed. >> We got to change the name." >> Oh, do you know how to do that? >> I do. >> All right. You do that while I'm Oh, this is what builds are for. They go on these things.
Is this randomized layout or do you have to put it in a specific order? >> We can do a first game layout. >> I like first game layout. Let's make it match the picture, shall we? This goes here. This goes here. This was poor design. Every time you pick it up, the legs fall off. It's like the first player marker.
>> You could glue it. Sure. Copyright. >> But then, but then it won't fit back in the box. >> It could if you got a bigger box. A >> I could just make a whole new game. It's my game. I could do what I want. >> All right. This is the fish boat. I >> saw the big box of Orleans out there. >> Did you? >> Yeah.
With the plague. big box. All right. Does this have a player C? No, it's just all that. Oh, that's the player count. >> Can you put the uh box cover on the table real fast? >> Um >> Oh, never mind. You don't need to. I can see it from here. >> Oh, you can. Are you using one of the weird um joysticky joysticky cameras to secretly see underneath the table?
No, I that was a more stealthy way of asking. How do you spell the pano? >> Oh, I knew that's what you were looking for. I probably couldn't spell it either. All right. This is the market raia. That's our little circle. All right. Okay. Number of players. We have three players. So, we need don't like the way this all organized.
We need 36 food, 17 corn, 15 stone, and 15 wood. Where's the wood? There's wood in here. Is this wood? That's not Is that wood? There's wood. There's little brown pieces of wood. Do you guys have the wood? >> Oh, here it is. Ha, I found it. Okay, so 15 pieces of stone wood. >> Man, these uh these token sorters are great.
Where do we get these? Just a second. 9 10 11 12 13 14 15. You can get these really cool token uh holders, these little component bins on our game found. So, go is it support? >> No way. >> Support dicetowwer.com. There we go. >> Check those out. I think you get a pack of five of them for $5 or $10 or something.
I got a pack I got some packs of them and the uh bands. >> The bands are really nice, too. If you've seen our bands, if you've been to any of our conventions, you love our bands. This is the time to get them. The place and the time is now. Um, any extras you can throw in this one. This is just the extra.
>> Any machine fans? What better place than here? What better time than now? >> You said 37 of these and we only have 36. >> What? Feel betrayed. Check in here. There might be another one. And if not, if we run out of one food, just remember you too can have the last food. Um, we need 12. Three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12.
Oops. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12. Okay, so these are It's hard to see how many are in here, but these go associated with that there. Oh, it shows it. No, that's different. That's different. >> 15. >> Yeah. Um, order cards. Which are these? Shuffle 16 of these. Randomly remove six.
>> Do I already do that? >> These ones, alpaca, fish, cacao, are going to be nine. Three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. And then wood is 15 12. All right. Extras. Extras. carts. We need nine cards. One, two, three, eight, nine carts. All right. And glass. We need nine of these. And did you do fish?
>> I did not. >> You did not do fish. All right. Fish goes bloop. Cat goes meow. Something something something something. See, I know words of songs. You thought I didn't. >> It's true. I didn't. >> But I do. Those are extras. some scares here. There's extra. I probably should have just not put these all in the same container, huh?
Was a genius move you did there, Emry. You have two things in the same container. >> Mixing them up. You're amazing. Fact, I'm going to give you the Wendy rays. I'm going to promote you to friend. promote you to acquaintance. Will you actually split those up into these three different things? Because Emry's a genius.
And Emry, will you split these up into different monies or at least make it easier to see monies? Oh, it is supposed to be random mice. this way. Okay. And then the food or the whatever the money can go here in the middle. >> Money, money, money, money. >> And then these other ones can go over here by Jacob.
Okay, I think I did it all. These go face up. Face up. Face up. Face up. So these face up. Come and get your alpacas. >> Come and get your alpacas. Come and get your alacas. Come and get your alpacas. Come and get your Come and get them. Now remove any extensions that are not needing returning the game.
Okay. Three or more players. Three plus. Will you Is it this? These extensions? No. No, maybe. No, I don't think it's those. Maybe it's these. Will you check these piles, Jacob? See if there's anything that says three plus on them or four plus. Oh, yeah. This one says 4 plus. So, we want to ditch anything that doesn't belong.
It's going to be like super bottom with none in a >> Okay, these are all threes. How many of uh these two these need to be? >> Sorry, what? >> How many of these >> those ones? The fabric fabric. Uh the wool is 12. Okay, those are that. Separate them. Yes, I did. Thank you. >> All alpaca butts must be visible.
>> Mhm. Visible at all times. Okay, these just shuffle face down. D C E A This is B. Yes. Yes. >> Now, where's the corn? Where was that go? >> Here. Around here. >> Oh, it didn't get a case. It ain't fancy enough for that. There's one right here. There's so many pieces to this game. >> There's so and the fact that you have to count them down is definitely a point against it.
It is so much work to set it up a different player counts. >> I agree. >> That's why you only played it one player count and you set it up for that >> solo. Each player chooses color receive the following things. One action board, one warehouse, a player pawn. We did it. Um a road marker. >> They go on the road.
Hey, one container >> one further at the bottom since I know that's >> one container and one cart from the village. That doesn't actually go there. It goes here. You can spend it. Junk. >> I don't get one. >> No, you're not a player in this game. Uh, shuffle the seven roll tiles. These right here. Okay, everyone face down at random.
Each player should take this from the center the good tiles. From the center the good tiles, food tiles, and coins indicated on their roll tile. So, whatever Jacob gives you, you get the stuff at the bottom. said, "You can always look through these stacks anytime during the game to see if stuff is still available." >> Are they supposed to be negative numbers?
>> What? >> Start off in debt. >> Let's see. I need to move all my stuff up a little bit. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. All right. I need more space. H. I could put that up there. Let's do that. I'm taking some rockies to stack. >> I'm actually going to go move our visual pictures because I just feel like we don't have space.
>> Taking a fish. >> See what needs to be seen. >> Take a two. >> Are you ready to go for a ride, Emry? >> Oh, yeah. >> Oh. Oh. Oh. The lineup, Jacob. Ah, how did it feel? Did your stomach get a whoosh? >> Y. >> Can I hear a whoosh? Whoosh. There it is. Okay. So, now I can see my stuff over here. And y'all can see far more of the stuff on the table than you probably want to.
That isun done. All right. I put this up here. It goes with that area. This is this that is that this dude. I think we start wherever we want. Yes. Okay. So, >> my dude can turn money food into rocks. >> We >> I turn food into money. That one seems better. >> Two of these. one alpaca and a wood and a dollar.
Okay, so everything except money goes in your bags. Where's the dollar bills? Oh, all right. So, this is a bag building game. >> I wonder. >> Really? I didn't even notice the bags till just now. >> Oh, well, this is this is all right. So, we all start out um being able to have uh four. Oh, we start at the top going down.
We go down the road. Yeah. Okay. So, anyways, we start being able to have four that we pull out each round. And you're always going to draw up to four. So, if you have stuff left over um from round to round, you don't get to discard it unless you use it. Okay. Um, so this track will let you increase how many you can pull out.
So, let's go and just pull out our initial four so we can kind of see what's going on. So, the first phase is always going to be refill. One, two. >> I only have three. >> Four. You start with only three. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. I'm sorry. You'll get more. Did you start with a fancy one? >> I had two money and then three resources.
>> See, I only had one money. Okay. So, we'll always do the drawing phase and then simultaneously we're going to plan. And what that means is you're going to be putting stuff in these different regions of the board. These regions match these regions out here. They're not in the same order. Uh yeah, they're not in the same order.
Um but they have the same symbols. So, like this alpaca is technically supposed to be over here, but I'm going to have to fill that up. Um, so if you take the alpaca action, it deals with this. It matches the alpaca over here. It deals with that stuff over there. Okay. Um, so you're going to plan it out.
So basically, I would say I would look at these little conversion tables and I'd say, "Okay, cool. Food is good. I'll probably put an alpaca over there." And that food gives me more alpaca. So maybe I'll put a food over here. Um, and wood. I don't know. Where does wood go? What can you do with wood?
We'll start working. Yeah, I'll put a wood over here. That seems nice. Start going on the road. And then food is for movement as well. Okay. So, we do our planning. Then, one at a time, we will activate a region on our turn that we're in. So, initially we can start anywhere. But if I wanted to start there, then I could do one conversion here in the alpaca region.
And we do all that taking as many turns as we need um until we are done and everyone's passed. And then we're going to do a cleanup phase. And just like any other deck builder, you're going to fill this up with everything you spent and everything you've gained. And then when it is time to reshuffle, you'll dump this back in your bag.
Okay. So, let's talk about the stuff. Um, yeah, let's just talk about the regions starting with the upper left. So, we have the alpaca region over here. This is the main way that you're going to get food. And then you're going to spend food to be able to get the yarn and the wool. Uh down in the mountainous region, that's this over here.
That's how you gain those main resources. So, you're going to trade these in to get these. Uh down below we have the forest, which is right here next to it. You're going to be spending food to get wood and you're going to be spending cacao to get other items. Um, the fish, this is a good way to get food, stone, and then these little cards over here.
I'll have to remember what these cards do. Let me look up real quick. Okay. The boat card. Do you mainly get the goods on the boat card one time and put the boat face up next to your action board? Do you gain that benefit and then those are going to be points at the end of the game? >> Sweet. >> Okay.
So, and I think there's just one of each type. Yeah, I think there's one of each type. So, once it's taken, it's taken. Um Oops. That's okay. It's a battery box. Um underneath here, this is going to be the marketplace. this bag thing over here. This is where you're going to be getting a lot of your points from and you're going to be able to do a lot of exchanges.
Um, so this is going to the way to get money in the game. And then you also can then spend money to get these tiles are going to be out here. One, two. These are the way that you upgrade actions. >> Nuhuh. >> Nuh-uh. Uhhuh. Move this. I just can't see. >> How do I get those? I buy money with them. I use money.
>> Yeah, you spend money to get these and then these attach to the area that they are associated with. And now you just have a new thing that you can spend stuff on. They do get better as you go down. I think you can only have one attachment of each type, but also I might be completely wrong on that.
I will have to look. >> Do I still need a token to go there? >> The what? Do I still need to put a token here to go there and spend money? >> I believe so. Let's look that up. Let me just look up market action. Okay, so sell goods. You can use one or more goods to gain coins equal to their prices. Goods without listed price cannot be sold.
You can buy an extension, which I just talked about. Um, pay the price that is on it plus any additional price here. So these ones are more expensive and then they have the price in the upper leftand corner. Says you cannot buy an extension if you already have an identical extension or if its action is the same action provided by your roll tile.
So I can't buy this specific extension. So you can't ever duplicate that. Um yeah. Uh then you can also acquire these order cards. You can always look through this at any time. um you spend a coin to take an order card of your choice from the stack of the market. Put the order card face up next to your action board and then later you're going to be able to add stuff to that order card using that same action and it will permanently remove them from your bag.
So these will basically just stay out and if they're full then you get the points and you get the bonus at the bottom. So those can be really big points at the end of the game. Um, and that's the deliver good action, which is the right underneath that. Move one or more goods from this location to empty spaces on your unfulfilled order card.
So, you can do a bunch of them at once. Um, and you don't have to do it all at once. You I could put like a glass here and then wait a long time and do the rest later. Okay. And then construct a road. You use a stone and a wood here, which allows you to move up on the road track, which like I said, it will unlock being able to um pull out more discs as you go, but it will also add corn to your warehouse.
So, the warehouse is another way to get points. You get points on the warehouse for each row that you've completely filled up. You get that many points at the end of the game. So every row has to have like if you add an item that is not already in your warehouse, you have to put it on a new row. So if I have wood in my warehouse and I add cacao, I have to start a new row with cacao.
If I add wood again though, it would go on this row here. Okay? >> And if I fill up this row all the way with wood, I can start a new row with wood. That's just fine. >> Okay? I just can't do that until I've completed the wood row. The one difference is corn. Corn can go into any uncompleted row when you receive it.
You immediately put it in your warehouse and it can go anywhere you want it to. However, um if you don't have anywhere you want to put it and you do want to start a new road, that row has to be corn and every additional corn you get has to fill up that row before it can help another row. But it's just a good way to jump and skip stuff.
Questions on warehouse. You have to start bottom to top, left to right. Um, and then this little piece over here is going to tell you uh all the stuff in your bag is worth points, I believe. I'll double check that. But that's just endame scoring. Um, got that. >> All right. I've already got a point.
The end of the game is triggered as soon as either following condition. Either one location tile is depleted of all of its items, tiles, carts, tiles, cards, and or carts. So like literally everything, not just like one resource. Um or there's not enough extensions to remain to completely refill the slots.
So, if this deck runs out and you can't refill, then everyone's going to play one more final round and then after the final round, we'll do your scoring. Um, yes. Okay. So, when you're counting up your goods at the end of the game, this is the goods scoring. It's every good that you own in your bag and in your warehouse, not goods you sold here.
>> Okay. >> Okay. So, that's what those points are for. So, you're going to go through all that. Um any cards that you have that have numbers at the bottom that you've completed and fulfilled, that's all good. Um the house cards are you get an extra point for each one of those goods that you get. So that's just going to be more scoring at the end.
Um and then the warehouse rows. And there we go. And then these I think are mission cards. This is an alternate setup that you can use. I'm just going to ignore it. It's optional. >> Throwing the trick. >> I haven't played with it. >> You just deal three to each player and everyone chooses one. That's all that it is.
Sounds not complicated. >> If it gives us more resources, I want it. >> I don't know what it does. >> I want more tokens. >> I think it's requirements that give you I think it points you in a direction. Oh, >> okay. >> Three. Three. Easy peasy. All right. Um, >> choose one. You said >> Mhm. >> Do you guys have questions?
>> Nope. >> I feel like that was quick. There's >> so many questions. >> No, I'm good. >> You good? Okay. >> Um, how hard is it to make glass? Just out of curiosity. >> It is one of the more expensive goods. >> How to get corn? Once again, just >> so glass, you just have to have a cacao to get glass, but it is one of the more expensive rarer goods.
There's not that many of them. Corn is easier, but it's this track. >> Just want to go for a walk. >> Just stabbing stab in the dark. You >> might find some corn on your walk. >> I don't I don't know what that means. It is 12:11 a.m. >> 121 a.m. That means it's Friday. >> Happy Friday. >> There's also reference back here of all the cards and all the things.
So, interesting. My fountain pen came in today or yesterday. >> Like a fancy fountain pen. Do you do calligraphy? >> No, I just like fountain pens. >> Oh, okay. >> They're nice to write with. I have one has blue ink and I don't want to have to keep swapping back and forth. So Lou surprised me with one that has black ink in it.
>> Nice. >> I just got a bunch of those friction pens that you can erase. >> That's cool. >> They do not hold a lot of ink, >> which is unfortunate. >> Already went through one. Oh, I didn't explain movement and food, did I? Okay, you have to be on the location that you want to perform the action on.
You spend food for one movement. You can move one space um at the beginning or at the end of your turn when you take an action. >> This complicates things >> or you can spend your wagon or wheelbarrow, whatever it's called, to move up to three spaces away. >> Okay, it's not complicated. >> At the end of the round, this resets.
You can unlock more of these somewhere. >> Can we choose where we start? >> Here. Just a second. Yes, you choose where you start. Oh, in the house. Yeah, in the house region you can unlock more here for a dollar. And in the house region is where you can put stuff in your warehouse. And the house region allows you to build the house card.
See, was the one spot I missed. Uh, for two stone, you can build a house card. Let me make sure. I can't do nothing with one fish. Okay. I'm trying to figure out if you can do a bunch of actions or if you have to take just one. Like here, if I have both of these, >> can you trade them both? >> Yeah.
Can I do one each? Like one becomes a food and the food become, you know what I mean? Like do I do them both at once or they two separate actions? I think on your turn you may take one action availability. Yeah. You must meet the requirements of the action. >> If you're only if you you're only using him to turn into a food, then why are you putting the food there?
>> Because I gain an additional food. The food gets discarded. >> Oh, so both top and Okay. >> Yeah, it just says take one action. What is this? What's it called? Farm action. Produce things. Okay. So, I think it's you can take each one of these lines one time. That's a action. So, this action over here, I can do each one of these exchanges one time, I think, is what it is.
All right. Well, yeah. Do your planning phase. You guys drew you did a planning phase. You ready to start? >> Good to go. >> Yeah. >> Oh, he hasn't place this up. >> So, go ahead and place your person where you want your person to be. >> What first would you like to tag? It's good. >> It's good. >> Okay.
So, for my action, I am going to put that one there. >> I guess that's where that plan. >> What? >> So, this will be Oh, >> I thought that was part of your planning. You put it there instead of putting it. Sorry. I thought it was all connected because it's all the >> alpaca, but I think you're right.
I think this goes here. So this must be one action and then this is another action. So I will do this first. So I'll do that and I will take and >> and that's associated with the place that you're at. >> Yeah, I'm on the camel spot. >> Oh, cuz mine's a road action. >> Is moving a free action or is that considered part of your turn?
>> You can move before or after. You have to spend a food or your wheelbarrow to move. That's right. >> Okay. Yes. Perfect. Then I will >> spend this to make a wood and I will spend this go here. I'm turning this into a money that I'm spending money to take. >> Okay, I'm going to use this alpaca cost >> to gain a food.
>> No, I paid one. >> Oh, you're still gone. Sorry. No, it's good. >> I jumped ahead. Does >> this refill automatically? >> Um, I believe so. Um, reset carts refill extension strip. Nope, it does not refill immediately. It refills during phase four. >> They ishensive. >> It's me. >> No. >> Or did you go after I went?
>> I've only done two. Have you? >> I haven't done any. I've only done one. >> You've done one. >> Oh, I did two. Okay. So, it is your job, >> Mr. Jacobs, >> I'm moving. You said that's not part of your reaction. So, it's one, two. >> Mhm. >> Uh, and at the road, I am throwing this out for a rock stack.
>> All right, I'm going to use my wagon once and then I'm going to pass. >> I will. >> Do I do anything with my unused resource? your unused resources. You can either leave them in the spot that they're at during cleanup or you can put them back down here if you want to change the location where they are.
>> I didn't put it anywhere cuz I couldn't do anything with it. Only a single fish. >> Oh, okay. But you can now. >> We'll see. >> So, it'll just take up space till you draw up. >> But you only draw up the four. >> You still only draw the four. You always draw four token. >> You always draw up to four.
Yeah. So, it gets in the way. >> Unless you're Emmery. One doesn't simply get a fish. You have to teach a man how to fish, then he can get the fish. >> Oh, really? There's no way to get a fish. >> The what? >> There's no way to get a fish. >> Maybe there's no way to get a fish. >> You want to go fishing?
>> I think it's extensions to get a fish. >> Extend yourself. I did not start with fish. >> You turned that fish into food. >> Turn that fish upside down. >> I am passing. It is my turn now. >> No one likes a frowny fish. >> You passed. You passed. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, end around cleanup. Let me just go through this so we don't miss anything.
Pass the start player. The awesome butt is yours. Uh, reset carts. So, all carts go back. Refill extension strip. This slides down. This comes out. If one or more extensions were bought around, slide them down. Is that it for clean up? Since most of the games were packed up for the cruise, >> everybody brought games in and then they picked what they wanted to play.
>> That is true. >> They were selected. >> Okay, then. Yes, you have the option of bringing these back down here if you want or you can choose to leave them where they're at. I am gonna move my Oh, actually I have a lot of food. No, I'll probably be good. I'll just dump this. I don't think I have anything left in here.
So, I'm actually going to get all four of these guys. I already know what I'm getting because there's only four. And then planning phase. Those are definitely going there. That's there. What do I do without packas, my friend? Maybe get some money. Yeah, we'll do that. The shebang. Yeah, this event is just super chill.
We're just playing for 36 hours. We're playing whatever we want. Nothing. None of this is like sponsored or anything like that. It's just I guess we're the sponsor because we're doing our our game pound right now. So, go check that out. Yeah, we're just playing. All right, everyone. Ready? >> I have a question.
>> What? >> What's that? >> That's stone. That's this. You get it from here by spinning food. >> I don't quite like that. >> You fish. >> Fish are friends and their food. >> Pouting. Now, >> if I buy a wagon, does it go in place immediately? >> Mhm. Uh, I believe so. Yeah, just there available >> and you can slide it over when you use it.
>> But I have the other food there to be able to use it. >> No, not for wagons. >> The food let you move one space. Wagons let you move up to three and you don't have to spend the food. Just use a wagon. >> Sweet. >> Mhm. All right, sir. Emory, you are up. >> Oh, I'm a fool. >> You can fix it. A fool of a took.
>> You haven't taken an action yet. >> Taking an action. Can't tell you what to do. >> Okay. He did a thing. The thing was done. >> I'm already at the road. So, I'm getting to the rock. >> All right. I'm here at the caves. Rock. Rock. >> Oh, no. I can't do two things I want to do. What did you want to do?
Get a fish. >> Extend out my road. This is going to hurt. You going to do it? You got to move. >> And I am spending one for a wagon. >> Mhm. >> The wagons. Uh, and I am spending two stone for a house card. >> You can pick whichever one you want. >> I want to pick the one I want. >> Is it the same with these or is the top only?
>> Nope. Any of these you can look through the whole stack >> and anytime you can look at them, pick whatever you want. I'm gonna come over here. Spending my wagon and I'm gonna trade an alpaca in. I think you can do each lane once. I It's confusing. So, I'm going to spend alpaca in for $1. I might have to Where's the money?
I feel like I'm having trouble finding that particular spot. Hey chat, do you guys know anyone who's played this? Is it that you do one line in the action? Like you can do each line once when you take an action or can you do as much as you want in that particular area in that action? >> I've been doing the ladder.
>> What? >> I've been doing the ladder. I don't know what the answer is. I just been doing the ladder. I wanted that one. >> You don't get that one. >> I get that one. >> No fish together. Strong. All right, I'm going to move over to the ocean. Spend a fish and get a stone. Don't know how that works.
>> Magic. >> That's interesting because under produce food, it says use one or more alpacas to gain a food. But then Oh, it says use one or more goods. So, I can do I can have done both. Okay. I think we're good. I'll take another dollar. Thank you, sir. >> No dollars for you. So, I could put five Alpaka tokens on here and get five food.
>> No, you can only get maximum two there because there's two slots for them. >> Gotcha. >> Don't be greedy. >> Do what I want to be. >> No, I don't want it all. >> Did you pass? >> Why would you assume my pass? Because I'm terrible at this. >> No, cuz I'm about to pass. That's why. >> Be passing. >> Where's that action there?
>> This one is the fishy one. The anchor >> is the canoe thing. The boat. Yeah. Okay. Okay. >> You good? >> Yep. >> You good? I'm good. We're all passing. >> Bend air. >> Bend air, doesn't it? Okay. This slides down. >> We all pass. So >> Oh, he went there. All right, that slides down. >> Our goods we didn't use come back down if we want them.
>> That's optional. Yeah, they can if you want them to. >> But you're only drawing one token. >> What? You only draw up. >> You draw up. He draws up to five. >> You draw up to five. You're weird. >> Actually, I draw up to corn. So, >> true. >> Horrible person. >> That is a band I never listen to. Oh, I got my stone and stupid alpacas.
I got alpacas for days, y'all. I don't even know what I'm going to do with them. >> So, this adds this action if I'm here. Correct. >> Correct. >> Okay. I wonder what's I'm doing. >> I'm gonna put that there. >> Okay, I'm gonna peek through these because I don't know what I need with all those alpacas.
>> No, it doesn't do what I want. >> Can you put alpacas in your warehouse? >> Alpacas go where they want to go. You can put fish in it. I assume you can store alpacas in it. That's what I assume my alpaca ability is. I'm on this right now, so why not trade that in do that shooting reset your your these things.
Okay. >> All right. >> Plan. Don't worry about woods. I'm trying to figure out if something is if any of these are not considered goods, but I think they're all considered goods. Yeah, they're goods. Okay. So, I assume you can put alpacas in a warehouse. How they stay on a row in a warehouse? I have no idea.
>> Is this Oh, this is >> They're no longer alive. >> What? >> Oh, >> don't traumatize me, Jacob. >> Have you seen The Color Out of Space that has a pretty disturbing alpaca scene in it? >> Oh, no, I have not. >> It's Nick Cage and he's got that Cthulhu type thing going on. >> Oh, >> and >> the alpaca turns into Cthulhu.
raise alpacas and then at some point the alpacas are merged together inside out. >> Nasty. >> It sounds sounds intense. >> Is that what I want? >> Oh, this will be on the cruise. Um, this is my personal copy. The Dice Tower copy is on the cruise, >> so you don't have to worry about that. Will be available.
All right, Emry, >> and find Wendy and ask for a game because she'll be refreshed. >> I know. I'm refreshed. You can teach me. I can teach you. Um, okay. We pass along the butt. Oh, now you have two. This is awkward. >> I know. But nobody. >> Yeah. Staring at Emry all awkwardly. >> All right, let's draw some things.
>> Draw some. Oh, we already planned, right? >> Yeah. Well, we did plan. We just have to go. >> You're just going. >> We're going. All right. I am >> going strong. >> Fish into a rock again. It's happening. >> That's all. >> Yep. >> Okay. I'm going to trade these in for two more coins. I am rich, my friend.
Money, please. >> $2. $2, I tell you. >> $2. >> All right, Emory. This is your moment. >> The big win. >> You ready for this? >> Hey, that's my way. >> You're up. >> Yeah. >> You are all in on roads, man. I'm a little jelly. >> What? >> You >> peanut butter and jelly. >> I'm going to get my first road here pretty soon.
>> I'm going to throw this exciting >> in the barn. While you're doing that, I'm going to spend a food to move here to spend this food to get another alpaca. That's right, friends. Another alpaca. You thought it wasn't possible. Oh, it is. Oh, I forgot when I took this action that I could buy one of these.
Are you guys okay if I do that? >> No. >> Really? >> Yeah, you can. If you buy the four, we'll let you do it. >> I'm tempted. Actually, >> all of your money right now. >> Um, what do you use ore for? Oh, making jewelry. >> Oh, no. I'm just been getting it. >> Yeah, I was going to stick that in my bag.
I'll take this one. Or else. Okay. Is it my real turn now? >> Could be. >> That wasn't your real. >> That wasn't my real turn. >> Oh, yeah. That's right. >> Cuz I went there on my real turn. I've taken two turns. How many turns you take this round? >> I've taken two. >> That's two. Two. Two. Two. You should.
It's your turn then. >> I'm trying to decide if I want to move again. >> Let me draw my tokens and let me see what I get and then I'll tell you. >> So, you're passing. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm going to jump on over here and I'm going to finally pull an Emmery and uh build a road, baby. >> Slowly working towards Rome >> for a road.
>> All right. You >> I pass. You pass already. I pass. All right. Clean up. >> Everybody go quickly. When we get there, I have one thing left in my bag and it is food. >> Me, too. >> I could do five now. It's amazing. >> I didn't know how awesome being able to use six. >> Look at this. I got my wooden stone again.
I'm so excited. >> Oh, you can do it twice. How do I get stone? >> I got stone here. >> What? >> I don't freaking want this alpaca. Feel like I keep selling these alpacas and they keep coming back. It's kind of horrifying. >> Oh yeah, we'll be doing that. >> Um maybe I need that there. Yeah, let's do that thing.
>> Wait, is there >> No, there's not. >> Okay. Oh, you have to. There's no way you can just trade for cacao. >> One does not simply just trade for Oh, you're right. You're on top of things, Jab. Good job. I don't know what I want to do with this alpaca. >> Okay, >> it's kind of annoying me. >> Hold up.
>> At the end of the game. Oh, every dollar is worth nothing. That's nice. >> Good. >> Yeah. >> Every food is worth nothing. Alrighty. I'm getting money for nothing. You guys can't even see my board. Let's do this. Is that better? Can you all see that now? Oh my gosh. I'm breaking it all. >> Is there a way to just get >> No.
Yeah. What? >> I hate this. Aha, I see how I will make money. >> Everything is awesome. >> See, I have money. I don't know what I want to do with money. >> Can I make >> What do you spend money on? >> Yes. >> These >> those >> whatever this contract thing is. I guess the No, cuz this like down below, >> you have to pay a dollar to get a contract.
Yeah. But they're over here. And it says you buy them over here because they're with this action. >> What? Oh, they're the bag. This is technically supposed to be over there, but it's full. It's busy. That's with this. This whole thing here. Have you just been grabbing these whenever you want? >> No, I've been doing it when I'm on this board.
>> Oh, that board is not. It's this. Sorry. >> Oh, I went to the wrong place then cuz I saw this here. >> Oh, yeah. But that's all the bag. I'm sorry. That was me being bad at teaching and setting up. >> I can't work under. >> So this is the same area. >> Yeah. This is just this is just an appendix.
>> Oh, baby. >> Do you want me to swap them Midame? >> All right. We set the Oh, wait. >> I get the booty cheeks of truth. >> Two butts. All right. Um, where am I at? I'm green. I'm going to go ahead and road first. I'm going to road all the way home. >> Road if you want to. >> Whoop. I get a corn and it goes right in my warehouse.
That's right, friends. We are There's like weird hair. I keep finding places. >> Uhoh. >> Is it from the go bears? >> Alex is here. >> Oh. No, I don't play games. >> Never. Yeah, this this game has an asterisk, but it's not a massive one, so it's okay. It's your turn, Emmy. >> Um, >> your actions, sir.
>> My actions. What do I want to do? What do I want to do? Don't ask what you want to do. Ask what you can do for your board. I'm going to do this and get stone. I'm going to take another uh wagon >> because I like to move it. Move it. >> You do? Do you? I am going to move. Where am I? One, two, three.
I'm going to trade in this food for an or done. Got trade a food. >> I will be the fish monger. >> Jacob's the housemonger. Holy house a lot. Do you just have like ample amounts of stone? Is that what it is? Are you buying all these houses? >> I do. >> I pass. I will move and I will walk down the road >> and get corn.
>> I feel like at some point I will be able to take more than two actions on a turn. >> Don't get ahead of yourself. >> We will get there eventually. >> Do you Do you dump it back in your bag if you have stuff left in your bag? >> No. Thanks for the catch. Cuz I almost did. All right. I have so many.
>> Oh, wow. I actually have back. >> Oh, I got it again. Yo, >> it's the best part of this game. >> Um, >> how do I get you? >> Where's houseand? Maybe I'm going to go to houseand and get rid of some of these alpacas. They're kind of freaking me out. >> Don't do it. >> They're kind of bugging me. Can I Can I show you something, Wendy?
>> Is it horrifying? >> I took this card because of you. >> It's the alpaca card. >> You're awful. How could you do that to me? All right. Uh, I don't know what to do with this food. Maybe here cuz I'm already on that spot. That seems like a good place. Yep. >> I'm I'm stupid. That's not the point of it.
That's not plus one point. >> That's gain one immediately. >> These are plus one points. The houses pretty stupid. >> Did you get one of those? >> Is the point. >> No, I I was like, "No, I don't." I was looking through them and I was like, "Most of these things are zeros. Why would I want to make them one point when I will only have two?" >> That all makes sense now.
>> All right. You get the butt of buddiness. See butt crack >> that it is. So which side is actually the butt and which side is the like shoulders? >> What's the What's the front and what's the back? I don't know. >> They're Are they the same? >> Depends. >> Well, which way the feet are facing? >> Is it Is is the alpaca from Oakland or is the alpaca from Should I mean the hips don't lie?
>> The cover could tell us. >> Oh, the covers could tell us. Maybe >> it's at an angle. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I can't tell. I can't tell which ones are bigger, the hips in the front or the back. >> I assume the back from this picture. This is what we need to know. >> Okay. Well, now that I'm thoroughly depressed >> because your alpaca's been broken into three pieces and Cthulhu made it merge into its face into its body.
>> No, cuz I could have been getting resources I needed. >> Oh, okay. >> I didn't. >> It's okay. It's a learning game. >> Makes me sad. See if this is worth it. It is totally worth it. >> I just looked up into a light for no reason. I just stared right into it. Was it the big white one? >> Mhm. >> That I just looked into for some >> mention.
>> I was like, I wonder which one. Oh, >> yeah. I'm seeing like blue streaks cuz there's a blue light right above it. >> We just got free LASIC. >> I I test lighting all all day every day. >> Oh, yeah. >> So, that's what we're all >> that >> I'm too blind to get LASIC done. I could technically get it done, but it would go bad really quickly cuz I'm crazy blind without glasses.
>> Do you wear contacts? >> No. >> You don't have contacts then? Do you wear contacts? >> Oh, you people with good vision. >> Okay. If I'm looking at my phone, I have to hold it this close and close one eye to read without glasses on. That is how blind I am. >> I'm left eye dominant. >> I can still go on here.
>> No, >> I can still go on the road. >> Did you have the lazy eye as a kid? Is that a thing or >> um >> when you're dominant now? No. >> Oh, he's not done places. >> Sorry. Sorry. I'm done now. >> You're going first though. >> I am. >> You sure you're done? >> I'm going to pay for this. I can now draw seven.
>> Oh my gosh. You're a machine. >> The road. >> Did you go? Not yet. >> You're just thinking of going >> to go here. >> Which is there? >> It's the same thing. Really? >> That's not a location. It's just a lineup. >> It's totally different because it's more than three spaces together. >> I was here then.
So, one, two, three. >> That'll make sense around me. >> All right. And I am going to sell these for $2. And then I did that before I bought the thing for a dollar. >> Well, I'm going to trade this in for ore because I don't know what I'm doing with ore, but I'm getting it and it seems useful. >> Oh, yeah.
>> Here we go. And I'm going to trade in some wood. I'll take cacao. H I planned this poorly. Me, it happens. >> I'm going to go and kick Wendy out. >> Oh, I would love it if you could actually bump me to another space. That'd be great cuz I'm like one movement shy of getting where I want to go. I want to go here.
I guess I can go there. >> You should buy. >> What should I buy? Tell me. >> A cart. I actually want a cart. That would be great. Yeah, I'm going to do it. I'm gonna spend my cart to go. That's you. One, two, three. I'm going to buy a cart for a dollar. Yeah, that's so nice. And then I'm going to put these two alpacas in here.
Done. Success. Turn a food into a fish. Deconstructing the food into >> What are deconstructed gummy worms? Gummy bears. Gummy worms. They're just like gelatin powder and liquid. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Gross. Like a froth. Do you just like get one of those um what are those like little powders you dip the sugar stick in?
>> It's just that but it's just gelatin powder. It's like not even flavored. >> One of those crazy drinks in Parks and Wreck >> when they go to that like really hoidy toy bar where the guy's like, >> "Oh, you you order the whiskey." And he like sprays something. He goes, "Yeah, >> it's an experience thing." >> Gosh, I pass >> is me.
You pass. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to spend this food because I can. And I'm going to move here. And with that there, I'm going to sell this alpaca for one whole dollar, please. And I can also buy an extension strip cuz amazing. I just stuck all my alpacas in there, but selling all her alpacas.
>> Two for cacao. Cacao is how you get glass. I'll spend $2 to get >> $3. What's on the bottom? >> That wasn't me. >> Memory's full of lies. Don't lie for me, Argentina. The truth is I bought an alpaca. >> When I use the uh food, am I going one to three spaces still or is it just one space? >> H One space for the food.
>> One space for food. >> Nothing for me. >> Wagons are one. >> You got you got to push your wagon. >> Wait. No. >> No. I did push my wagon. No, I used my food. I didn't push my wagon. >> Okay. And you passed. >> I've already passed. >> But I came. >> Oh, I went here. That's what it was. Okay. I didn't pass yet.
You passed. You passed. >> You moved too much. >> I will be. I haven't passed yet. >> You haven't passed yet. Now I can come here. I'm gonna spend this. I'mma move this down here and I can get six. Now, >> I do have a question, Wendy. >> The answer is no. >> How did you buy a wagon here when you have to be here to buy a wagon?
>> No, I used this was one action. >> Oh, >> then I used my food to go here. Then I used my second wagon to come here. >> We'll trust you. >> Roll the tapes. Okay, we good. >> All right, and I passed. So, >> I finally >> the butt >> did multiple things on a turn. That was exciting. The best turn so far this game.
And I can refill up to six. >> Hello. >> There we go. >> Three. I see a bro. >> Do you? >> Yep. Four. I got a lot of fish. >> Five. >> I got no food. >> Six. Oh, too much fish. >> I should have bought that time. >> Get some more alpacas. Some more of that. Maybe I'll want another movement at some point.
>> I can just move stuff here, right? >> I can move stuff from here into here at any time. >> No, no, no. You have to come here. >> You have to go home to put your goods. >> Put the stuff here and then it goes into >> That was my goal. I wanted to ruin everything for you. I succeeded and I feel good about myself now.
>> That's not nice. >> This puppy. This puppy may be here. Oh, now I can do this. Let's do that sheang. That seems nice because then I'll get some silver. Okay. Good morning all you early risers. It is definitely not morning to me yet. We do have about an hour left. >> We all done planning. >> Sure.
>> Still deeply thinking. Did we pass the alpaca? Did everyone reset their wagons? Did I just get this alaca? >> I don't know. Emry has all the rest of the alpaca. >> I think he went last. I think he went first last time. I think it's your turn to go first. >> Go first. >> Should we move all the alpaca together so it's not confusing?
>> Yes. >> Or I could just take part of the alpaca and throw it away in the box permanently. He's a little off. >> You hitting your second one yet? No, >> I'm ready. Oh, man. I'm usually in bed. >> That's already at it. >> Oh, I took a nap. I'm good. >> I'm going to use my fell over. >> Oh, it came with sound effects.
Cool. >> All right, that's four coins. >> He's rich. >> I'm going to spend some monies. spend three of it. >> Oh, you can't put food in here. That's what the X means. I knew there was something you couldn't put in there. >> Yes. >> Is good. >> Can I use this tile right when I get it? Cuz I'm at the right location, >> I presume.
>> Right over there. There we go. already. >> Mhm. >> Okay, I am here. So, I'm going to go ahead and trade those in to move this down. I'm slowly catching up to you, Emry. I get another corn in my warehouse. It is you. What is this running away from me? >> He's so corny. >> Mhm. What happens if he wants to put more coin there, but his corn is full?
He goes to his secondary. >> Yeah, it goes to another row. >> Oh, he goes to another row and not behind him. >> You're moving at the end of your turn. That's fancy stuff. >> It is fancy. >> It's almost like you're preparing for the future. That's a mud turn. >> And that's all she wrote. Go. One, two, three.
And I'm going to trade these in for a stone. Stone. And I'm going to trade the other food in for an ore. >> In fact, alpacas only come out at night in Florida. >> But only in Florida. It's too hot otherwise. >> They all wear night goggles. >> They're like predators. They only see us in a heat sensing.
>> Like the vision of a mantis shrimp. >> They have forward facing eyes. They're hunter. >> I'm done. >> I pass. >> Oh, I still got I still got ages to go. No, not really. I have one thing. What am I doing? I'm going to alpaca land, which is right next door, and I'm going to trade this in for an alpaca.
>> Is there a reason you move the wrong cube? >> What? Oh, because >> she wants to use more movement. >> All right, reset. Refill. I have >> Show your bags. They want to see the bags. >> You want to see the bags? >> Oh, yeah. >> Three things up. Bag. Oh, I put a dollar in my bag. That was not correct.
I don't know if I spent this dollar or if I gained this dollar. >> I'm gonna assume I spent it. That's to not accidentally give myself extra advantage. Five and six. It feels really nice to be able to pull out six things. How does it feel, Jacob? >> I still can't pull out. Uh, >> I want you to know I just restrained myself from making a lude comment.
>> Oh, that's that's fair. >> So, I'm already ahead of the morning crowd. >> Hey. Um, I can get this. >> Didn't get to take any money. >> I really need to look at here. What can That's a nice one. I really should start picking these up. How do you get cacao in this game if you don't have an extension?
You just don't, do you? >> Nope. >> That's riff. >> What is that? >> That is fancy terms. >> You got to put one in your thing and take another one out. >> Mhm. >> Or take one out of your bag. >> Put your right foot in. Put your left foot out. Put your right foot in. it. Okay. At the end of the drawing phase, move any one tile from your planning space to your container.
Then either draw one tile from your bag or choose one tile from your container. Put that tile on the unoccupied planning space. >> Mhm. Clear as mud. >> I would never buy that because I don't understand it enough. >> You get to put one in here. >> No. >> And then you get to pick one of your choice or draw a random one from your bag.
You can be like, I don't want that one. >> Toss it. It's just cool ability, >> but right now it's six. >> Okay. Um I'm first player now, right? Alana, you have to pick up by the hips. That's why it's wider. >> I think backwards. >> Yep. He won't stand up. I think you did get him backwards. And he was standing up just fine for me.
>> I'm pretty sure pretty sure he was never standing up for you. >> See better. Oh, I didn't finish. This is going to be >> It's all in the hips. It's all in the >> Yeah, I'm going to put those there. Okay. All right. Where am I at? I am on that board right there. So, I'm going to go ahead and trade these in for a thread.
All right, use up a food and then I will walk down this lonely road. >> Houses are like your one strategy, right? >> Take all the ones everybody else wants. That's >> just agent of chaos. That's all you are. All right. I am going to travel the road of fame to here. I'm going to trade these two in for a dollar each.
And then I am going to spend dollars to get this. Um, how do I get glass from cacao? I feel like that one's really expensive. Can probably do that one. Oh, I think I can only get one card. No, I think you can do money. That's my guess. Spent all my monies. I'mma do that one. Tell you this. The $2 I just got.
I just spent Done. You're good. Spend the food. to get stone. A one, two, and a three. That's what I was going to do, but mine's only a one and a two. See? Not as fancy. Oops. Oh. >> Oh, yeah. >> Oh, okay. That makes sense. So, glass is the most expensive pointwise. >> Mhm. >> But unless you're putting it toward this, it's useless otherwise.
>> Yes. But you can put it in your warehouse to fill up rows to get row points. So it's not completely useless. But yeah, it's just a it's a good it's not a it's not a useful tool. It's just a good. >> Okay. >> So it is still good. That's what I'm saying. >> Use a cacao to get a glass. Jacob, you done?
>> I'm passing. >> I pass. >> I pass. >> All right, reset. Oh, I feel like my bag is getting really full. See, that's what I was afraid of. Look at that though. >> Six. Where did I end? I ended there. So that's good. This here. This here. That there. Six. I'm okay with that. I am totally okay with that turn.
This is going to be good. You should be able to turn fish into food without another food. Stupid. >> Who eats just fish by itself? >> I don't understand how two fish make a rock, >> but they do. All right. You get the alpaca of planning. I'm not ready yet, though. Look at me. >> I'm staring. Stop. >> The alpaca's staring.
I'm not staring. >> I just need this, right? >> Jacob took away my gummy bears. >> You I asked. You didn't say nothing. Just in case. >> I didn't need more gummy bears. Oh, I got a Ninja Creamy for Christmas. That thing is delicious. I've been making um I've been making this egg custard. So basically it's like two eggs and a cup of milk or whatever that you custard together and then I blend like I cook it and then I blend it with um dates like a couple dates.
>> So it's all like healthy naturally you know I mean no refined sugars >> and it's so good. Also canned pineapple with just just a little bit of salt. Freeze it. It's like dole whip. So good. Oh, >> I really don't like pineapple, but I love Dole whips. >> Really? >> I can't cannot. >> Huh? Is it my turn?
>> Yes. >> All right. This for another golden ring. Silver ring. I don't know why I spent movement. I was already there. That's done. I will move. >> Actually, the first time I had a dol whip, I was super disappointed because I really wanted ice cream and there's like no dairy in it. And so I was like, "Oh, this is not ice cream.
This is whippy fruit sorbet." It was very very uh very disappointed, but then I knew what I was getting into and it was good. >> I don't know that I've had a dull whip. It's imagine root beer float, but it's pineapple juice. >> Pineapple is probably my favorite fruit, but I can't eat it because it makes my teeth hurt.
>> Makes your teeth hurt. >> Yeah. It's too acidic. >> Yeah. It's like sometimes you have like like I love oranges, but if I have too many oranges like right back here, it just >> hurts. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Huh. Cuz I've heard of people getting like cankeraurs and stuff, but not teeth. Okay, I am moving now and I'm going to move to the bag land.
>> If you do, if you stay up until the next game is going to be a radio. >> I'm going to go one, two, three. Actually, I'm going to come here and I'm going to move this down one more time. So, I unlock seven next round. >> Whoopy, stop trolling. I'm tired and bad at games. >> Was that you? >> What? That was me.
Yeah. >> Okay. Um, >> we will go >> a more hardcore euro. We'll keep them awake. Yeah, that's fair. >> What's an exciting hardcore euro at one o'clock in the morning? >> Sweet lance. >> Sweet lance would have been great. Yeah, that's fair. Didn't >> get there. Con Conv. >> We're gonna have a meeting about cars.
>> Promote synergy. >> Sandra's gonna come in and clean up the place. >> Hey, that's my Thursday morning meetings. >> Yeah, you're Sandra. You're inspired by her. Are you nice, Sandra? Or mean, Sandra? >> I like to think that nice. >> I like to think that >> the marketing team is >> I have $3 >> happy with me.
>> It's full of love. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> How do you do your hand hearts? Do them like this or do you do the weird like >> modern >> like Moo did that. She was like bang and I was like are you throwing gang signs at what is that? >> You're doing it backwards. It's this. It's the pointer fingers. >> Whatever.
>> And then there's the like little Korean hand heart. >> Yeah. Now she does this because everything is uh K-pop demon hunters. >> Yes. All the love. She was thrilled when I let her know that your daughter had Chris. >> It's my turn. >> We're Korean. >> Yes. >> Uh I'm coming over here. I'm doing some stuff.
Mostly I'm getting money. These are each going to be a dollar. I'm going to trade both of those dollars in for a cacao cuz >> Coac. >> We need cacao. What for? I don't actually know what I need cacao for now at this point. I think I'm Huh. >> Just throw it away. >> Did you get cacao? >> I got cacao.
>> Oh, good for you. >> Oh, >> I'm passing. >> Oh, I haven't I haven't got yet. >> As soon as he gets >> You're passing out because it's so late. >> Unconscious mind. Oh, it just that just be like brain melting. >> You know what actually might be fun late at night? A feast for Odin. I think it's because you're rolling dice >> only if you take those actions.
>> Take those actions and you want to stay awake or you want to fall asleep making sure your family >> have all the negative points at the beginning. So you >> Yeah. It can't get worse from here >> unless you buy a bunch of islands and don't do anything with them. >> Whose turn is it? >> Yours. >> I'm passing.
>> I'm passing. I remember being my first game and being absolutely terrified to get a new island >> or even like get like log out the long houses and stuff. I was like, "No, there's Why would I do that? Why would I give myself more negative points?" Now I'm like, "Yeah, it's two rounds until the game's over.
I'll buy another >> I'll explore something." Oh, I do get seven. Seven is amazing. All right. I really need to get more wood out. Maybe I will do that. This and this need to go on stuffs. This can probably go there. And this I don't know what to do with this. >> I got poop. >> You got poop. >> I got poop.
Yeah, that's what a toddler says. >> Are you a toddler? >> Maybe I am. >> Oh, this will go there for futureess probably. >> All right. I don't think I want that alpaka anymore. Stick them in the barn. Can I turn a food and fish to >> Are you first or am I first this time? >> You just gave it to me. >> Okay.
You guys are staying home. Yeah. Ke Tokyo. I could see that be awake. That's okay. I'm not I'm not too tired. I'm good. Suppose we only have what, 50 minutes left. Easy peasy. >> When does the game end? >> The game ends when one of >> this runs out or some location runs out completely. >> Yeah. >> Do I want to do that?
Yes. Do >> Yes, you do. Most definitely. >> Yeah, let's take it. >> Are you taking the weird one? take away. >> He understands it now. >> It gives me what I want and not what I need. And so I sell this for three and then I get a bit extra, too. All right. I am over here and I'm going to go ahead and put these.
Do I want to put them on my card yet or do I want to get buou bucks from them? This is worth $3. >> No monies. >> Oh, I am super losing. >> I'm going to spend. >> You're not losing. Don't look over here. >> Oh, man. That's bad times. >> I'm going to do that. I'm going to get $4 from No, I'm just going to take $3.
I'm going to put that there. I'm going to take $3 and I'm going to spend two of them to get a cacao. And I'm going to spend $1 to get one of these, which will be probably this big. 19. >> It doesn't matter cuz he's going to win. >> I just started getting something going and like the game's kind of almost over.
There's still a lot of supplies. It all has to go, not just one resource. Oh, okay. It's like one whole area has to go. That's why they have associated items to them. >> Thanks for the vote of confidence. >> All right, Emory. >> He passes. >> Did you take the glass one yet? >> I took a glass one. >> No, the houses.
Did you take a glass house? >> Oh my god. >> No, because glass houses >> are for people to throw rocks. >> I like the glass house and 13 ghosts. >> I don't know. >> It's a glass house with a bunch of ghosts trapped inside. >> That sounds exciting. Can you see? Do they glow like from the outside? Is it kind of like one of those?
>> So, what they do is they put these special glass on them. See the glow? They get a little glitch. >> But they're not like >> Can you shake the house up and like the glow's all glittery if I >> They're um >> going to move. >> They're kind of like Ghostbuster ghosts >> if they didn't have like the glowing effect to them.
>> Oops. Okay. Trade two food in for wood cuz we need wood. Okay. How's your Snickers? Do you remember those like hangry commercials? >> Oh, you're not you when you're hungry. >> Yeah. Mhm. >> Louise isn't up now, so I can say this. That is Louise. Nicest person in the world. >> Until hungry. >> Until hungry.
All right, I pass. >> You don't want to use it for stone? >> What? >> H >> you can make it stone. >> Why would I do that? This is four points. That's two points. >> Are you going to fill up your stone? >> You got to fill it up to get the points. >> Yeah. >> No, it's good. >> Okay. was trying to make sure that you can be all that you can be >> in the >> I believe >> in an army.
>> Yeah. >> All right. We get good if we all passed. >> Oh, I have not passed. >> Oh, >> this is very good, but it's very messy. >> It just crumbles going. >> Oh, it's not a Snickers. I thought >> the Nature Valley crunchy bar. >> There were fulls size Snickers in the somewhere out there in the cupboard.
>> Yes, we brought them in Saturday. They would be less messy, but that's probably slightly better for you. >> I ate one. >> It has a whole grain. I guess I guess the peanuts are legumes, right? So, you could argue that there's a little bit of protein and fiber in it. >> Get out of this war business.
When they used to play a lot of Dead of Winter, right, game? >> I did play a lot of Dead of Winter back in the day. Okay, I'm ready. You ready? >> I like the new ones. I haven't played the Wandering Galaxies as much. We just played one game of it so far. >> I like Forgotten Waters a lot. >> One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
You didn't get up to eight. You're just going to sit on that note for a little bit. >> Why? Cuz I can. Kill the can. Where did all my wood go to? I I own multiple woods and they are all gone. I don't like this. I don't like this one bit. I might. But I really like having jewelry. Jewelry. Yeah, I'm going to do that.
I'm going to do this. seems wise. Like I'm going to pop those up there. This here. That there. That there. Sounds good. Okay. >> Can I have the alpaca of firstness? >> You're not allowed. >> All right. Where am I located? I am in the forest. Darn it. >> And in the forest is where I buy glass with my cacao.
>> Oh, I just realized there's a cup holder here. >> What? I was like, why is the bottom of the table moving? >> The keystone. >> They don't make all play tables the way they used to. No, they they had cup holders. You guys can't see that. I keep thinking it's in video. >> When I first came in, I took Chris's seat and he had taken his soda out >> and I was like, he took the cup holder with him >> cuz I didn't know they tucked into the table.
And I'm used to the ones that like latch on with um the >> Yeah, >> the game toppers. >> I think our old rascalers table from like years ago that was in the main studio had like really loud metal cup holders. >> I guess these could Oh, you know, I think these have the little like metal inserts. >> Right now they're just hanging.
All right. You up there? >> Yes, me. >> I'm doing the road. Going to catch up to peoples. >> All right, I am going to move as well. Well, what is I only have so much movement? I want to do that for sure. Yeah, I'm going to do this for sure. I'm going to put these on here. I completed this. So, I get a corn tasty.
>> And that's all >> she's going. >> 14 points at the end. And I have no money and no prospects. I will never get married in old Renaissancey times. >> There's always a chance. Outlander, you know, she went back, got married again to somebody else. >> Anything's possible. Anything is possible if I just believe and have money.
Jump over here. No, I don't get a fish. I go there and throw a fish to get a rock. >> I'm going to come here. I'm going to finish this alpaca row and I'm going to start a new row of ore. I really should be filling that with a bunch of garbage so I can get up to the high levels, but I'm just not. >> I pass >> because I messed up.
>> We thank you for your service. >> I do pass because I messed up. This food I should have used for move so I can come here. Wasted. Wasted, I tell you. I shouldn't list the road. So, I'm going back to the road to take a stone somewhere. You and all your fancy powers, man. >> She's got a lot of wagons.
That's me. I'm done. >> All right. Well, I passed. We all passed. >> Yep. >> Reset. Robot roll call. This game is really long. >> It's really long cuz we're taking a long time. >> It's cuz we're so good at it. >> We're so something at it. Um, we probably do need to speed up though, huh? Do I have seven?
Oh, I have seven. What random two things am I going to get out of this? Cow. Cacao. All right. Well, the only thing that those are useful for are over here at the merrynt. That will go there. This one I straight up don't need alpaca. Maybe that and that. Yeah, >> another wood. >> Work on ditching that alpaca.
>> You know what? Let's get a canoe. Whatever the canoes do. Let's do that. >> You're going to canoe it. All right, Emry, you up. >> Too much pressure. >> Pressure. Wow. I looked at the screen and I'm not sure if it got blurry or if my eyes got blurry. >> I'm right there with you. >> Blurry eyes. >> Blurry eyes.
Behind these blurry eyes. You look tired. >> 6:30. >> 6:30. You're >> wake up to go to work. >> You're a trooper, man. >> I'm probably back up over here at 8 8:30. So, >> really almost sleeping. Little up. A little bit. A little bit. >> Okay. >> I took off. Want to come play games. >> All right. I'm going to get another house.
>> Tom will be coming in here soon. He'll revitalize the energy. >> Yeah. >> Get it. >> Exciting. >> Hey everybody, I'm Tomas. >> Vaseline. >> All right. Where is everyone in the chat located right now that's watching? >> Jottton is a friend of mine from Germany. >> Okay. Okay. Okay, while you're doing that, I'm going to move uh one space over here. >> I love corn. I love >> corner's gonna let me skip another step. >> I don't know what I'm going to fill in on that eight over there, but I'll feel something. 108 degrees Fahrenheit. I feel like there's still so many of these to buy, you know? All right, let me make sure. Let me make sure that those things are not actually going to end up here real quick because we might. We're getting close. Any one location is depleted of all items, tiles, cards, or and or carts that were on it.
So, if someone takes all these cards, all these cards, that's a lot still. >> Hello. >> Still out of bed. >> Good morning. Hey, look, it's Gandalf. Here, I'm going to spend both cacao to steal the last two ones of these cuz I'm awful. >> You got to buy all the contracts, right? >> What? >> Buy all them contracts. >> Whoa. That sucks. >> There's still hope. How much do these cost to buy? >> A dollar.
>> And you get the corn when you finish them. >> Change of plans. My turn. >> Yes, sir. >> That sucks. Guess I'll get one of those. All right, I'm going to move one space over here. I'm going to trade these two in for another silver bracelet and this in for the last one of these as well. Things are starting to clear out.
Memory >> sounds like I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with my life. >> Play Alono sounds terrible. >> Just the worst. >> The marble races were earlier when we were playing Gizmos. >> But no explosions sadly. >> No. No explosions. No potions either. No, some of my cards have little potion like bottles on them.

My turn. Okay. Okay. One goes here. One goes here. This one goes here. Um, I don't know what to do with this.
A rock. Actually, do that one first. Yeah. Okay. Ah, you got in there, too. This is for you. This doesn't really have a purpose. Okay. All right. So, first thing I'm going to do is I'm at the house, so I'm going to go ahead and finish that row. Finish that row. Start a new one. What's the best thing any of you have eaten this year?
>> Best thing I've eaten this year? >> Oh, I don't know. I haven't eaten much this year. Good morning. You look refreshed. >> I am awake. Yeah, it's definitely taking longer than I remember it taking, I think, cuz we're tired. We're getting there, though. that move here and I'm going to put these on.
I finished this one. >> So, I get another corn and my corn rose. Get it? Corn. >> Indian kitchen in Orlando. I think was the best thing I had this year. really liked it. >> Good night, DJ DJ Dan. >> Everything hurts. >> Okay, >> you got this, Emry. >> So, I can buy as many of these as I want to. >> They just cost a buck each.
Yeah. >> And once I >> You got to do them, >> I can just move stuff onto it. >> You have to You have to have two at a time up here >> to move stuff on them. You have to put them here. Oh no. >> And then they get on them. >> Yeah, it takes a minute. >> It's rough. >> That's the benefit, I think, of this space.
I think you attach this to a location and that location now has an extra spot I can hold. >> Oh, okay. >> Of resources. >> I'll buy two. >> I think the best thing I've eaten this year is my Ninja Creamy ice creams. I think that's it. That's been the exciting part of my my eating here. >> I'm going to go to the road and get another corn.
>> Louise made something. >> I pass. Yeah. I have nothing else to do. >> Wait, when you say this year, do you mean like >> Oh, 26. the last >> cuz if it's in the last nine days, uh there's a Chinese food place around here that isn't like New York style. It's like they actually it's not like frozen and then just kind of grown around and wow, it's like life-changing.
>> Oh, >> they have the best bourbon and um sesame chicken I've ever had in my life. >> Sweet. Are you passing? I'm not done telling myself. Um, >> Tom's going to kick you out. Keep telling stories. >> Yes, I will pass. >> The Asian man I live with um loves China King over on um Six Mile Cypress. That's his go-to Chinese place.
>> There's a habachi place um that's near Six Mile or on Six Mile Cypress that I went to with Joey once. That was really good. >> Yeah, I like that place. Then I tried a different habachi place and it was not as good. >> All right, we passing. Are you still going, Emry? >> Amber's really good. >> Passing them.
>> Okay, >> Amber's really good, but it's very expensive. They have an all you can eat thing, but it's like $150 a person. Something really, really up there. >> That is quite expensive. Almost finished my last contract. I don't have enough things in my bag to fill up all my spaces. Definitely planning on this being the end.
Okay, these are going here. >> Just go buy two cards and get your uh >> I don't have money wagons. Get your wagons. >> That's the problem. That needs to go in. That'll go in. >> All right. Is it you? >> Is it me? >> Is you? >> Okay. I'm going to fulfill a contract. >> Did you get a creamy machine? >> I got a creamy machine.
>> Somebody just asked. >> She's been creaming about it. because I keep talking about it. >> Oh, I did get a cream machine. It's so good >> to make ice cream. >> Yeah, you basically like freeze um you freeze stuff in a cup so it doesn't have to turn it. You freeze it in a cup for like 24 hours and then it has a blade that spins down and fluffs it and spins it and turns it and does it all in like a couple minutes.
>> Well, you know, next time I'm over I'm going to be expecting some cleaning. >> Oh, yeah, of course. And it has a mix-in function. So, you can make like get my gluten-free Oreos in there and make my little Oreos. And I've been making custard with dates instead of sugar. That's been really good. >> Whose turn is it?
>> Your turn. >> It's me. I'm talking. >> It's her turn. I didn't even take my turn. >> It's Jacob's turn. Go, go, go, go. >> I thought we still placing stuff. >> Do these. I get another piece of corn. Another row. Another bites the dust. Another rope bites the dust and it's Emy's turn. It's only 10:40 in California.
>> It's nothing. >> Let's go back in time. >> It's only 7:40 in Hawaii. >> What time is it in Denmark? >> It will be five hours later or six. I think it's six hours later. Mhm. You're going? >> I haven't gone yet. >> Oh, I thought that's what you were doing. >> Oh, yeah. I'm going to end the game. >> Oh, you're triggering.
>> Oh, no. I'm not. >> Don't buy one. >> Jacob, quick, buy more. Oh, darn it. >> I can't. I told you I'd do my part. >> This corn's almost done, though. >> How many of these can I buy in a turn? as many as you can afford. >> Okay. >> You know what Emry's up to today. Um >> going to sleep. >> Yeah. I'm coming here and I'm going to get my >> This is a very lackluster turn.
A >> piece of wood. >> That's all I did. I did my two things. I'm done. >> All right. That's all she wrote. >> I'm gonna buy two carts. Nope. It's It's empty. >> End of it all. >> Three more rounds after >> one more final round. So you can do your >> I pass. I'm done for this round. >> Oh, you finish the current round and play one more final round.
So we we all draw up one more time. Okay, this is it. I'm going to put this one back because I realized there's no more of those for me to even buy. I don't know if I can do much this round. Everything's kind of just busy and full. That I guess will go there. >> So, you can make your own mixes with the creamy.
It doesn't have to be a specific >> recipe. No, you can make whatever you want it to be. Um, you just can't use straight up water because that'll mess up the the blender. You want to use something that has like a little bit of sugar or fat in it or something to make it so it's not 100% frozen. U, but other than that, yeah, sky's is the limit.
>> Money don't do nothing. >> I don't want that. No, do this. >> That do have movement. do things >> like actual things. >> You can do things about stuff. Where am I located? I'm in the forest. I don't need that. I'll go there. That's fine. All right. Jacob's first. Final round. Do you want to let Tom know we're on the final round?
Oh, no. He's right there. >> He's there. >> We're on the final round. >> Has been triggered. Uh, let me get Oh, no. I don't get it. >> All right, I'm going to trade this in for one of these puppies here. >> I'm going to move over a glass. >> It's very glassy of you. Such a glassy person. >> True. I got the corn.
>> I'm going to trade these in for a stone. >> All right, Emry. We'll go here and fulfill this contract, which will get me another coin. That's a move. Those >> are you. Okay, my last one is just going to be trade these in to move this down pointlessly. So, I can now have eight tiles. >> Proud of you.
>> Oh, thank you. Okay, let's start with >> Whoa. Whoa. >> Oh, sorry. I thought you finished. I was just all on board to gonna go >> all on board to score. Okay. >> Okay. You ready for scoring? >> Yep. >> Dump everything out in front of you so you can see what all resources you have. Anything that is on these cards that you shipped away are not counting towards endgame points.
>> What do you mean? >> Same thing with stuff in our storage. >> No, warehouse does count. >> Okay. >> Just not the stuff you shipped away. >> Okay. So, um, so go ahead and add up your wood, your stone, and your cacao, which are all worth one. four >> in woodstone and cacao. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> Seven.
>> Seven. And then do the next level, your level two stuff, the the little yarn looking thing in the ore. >> 14. >> Okay. >> Two. Nice. That was sarcastic. Just kidding. Okay. Um, cloth and silver. I think just three. That's all I got was three. >> 15. >> Six. >> Six. And 15. Nice. And then glass. >> Zero.
>> 20. >> There's a There it's at I got 12. Okay. your boats. Anyone get boats? >> Oh, yeah. Four. >> Two and four. Um, houses 12. >> Does that include the bonuses? Is that like everything on the house? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Because you can do houses separately and then bonuses if you want to, Jacob. That'll make your life easier for counting.
46. >> Wow. 46 in houses. And then your orders cards. These over here. >> Zero. >> 18. >> 18. I got 47. And then your little card thing there. >> Six. >> Eight. >> Six. It was houses. It's for me >> and mine was six. I just have to have three rows filled up. All right. >> I just had to have three houses.
>> Ready for final scoring? Emry 74. I have 80 and Jacob is 90. >> Nicely done. >> Good job. >> Yay. Go houses. >> All righty. Well, um, do you want us to >> We're going to close down and go to the next one. >> Okay. Okay, we're going to close down, go to the next stream here. Uh, do you want to run that commercial real quick about east and west so we get a little bit closer to that time?
>> No, >> no, >> let's close down and go. >> Okay, we're going to close down and we'll see you guys in a little bit. >> Well, when I figure out which one here must be outra, right? >> Probably. >> Check out the game found.
