Top 5 Board Games of 2025 in 97 Seconds!
Here are my top five board games of 2025. Starting with Luier. This one's a heavy one to four player game, but the theme of making instruments is so cool. You get sponsors that give you presents, [music] but then you have to make all kinds of instruments for them, perform music, and repair instruments before they run out of patience.
Number four, flip tunes. Easy one or four player family game that's really addicting because you flip over cartoon characters that all have different abilities. All you do is hire more actors and dismiss the ones that you don't want. Your goal is to be the first to 30 points and you win. Number three, probably one of the most beautiful games that I saw in 2025, [music] Sweetlands.
But don't get fooled. This is a heavy game. This one's really fun though because you want to have the biggest sugary empire by making a strong resource engine and playing cards to boost that engine. Your combos in this game just pop off. Number two, perfect for a one to six player cozy game [music] night.
Tend. You get to mine for stuff by actually scratching off disposable cards. You can fish in different lakes and ponds. You can [music] tend crops and build pens for your animals. All because you want to build the best homestead. [music] Number one, my favorite board game of the year. If your group is okay with confrontation and people are okay with losing, Roth.
[snorts] It's an area control game, so you're fighting with troops to take over as many areas as you can. Each faction has like their Super Saiyan ability, but this game just has so many big moments that you just keep talking about, and everyone just gets their time to shine. Here's my top five of 2025.
