Visiting the IV Studios office & board game cabin weekend! | Board Game Vlog

Hello friends what is up welcome back to another Garden what did Adam say Adam from shelf clutter commented last time on a video and he said garden with wings welcome back to another garden with wings I am again at the airport and we are heading to technically Charlotte I do have a connection there and then we are off to Nashville um basically I was invited by Ivy games to come and do some content for them for their newest campaign starting on September 12th they're going to be launching Mythic Mischief volume two so I'm going to Nashville to do that I'm meeting up with Alex from board Gameco and Professor Meg us three are going there um we are doing some filming and then after that we are actually getting picked up by Devin from Devon talks tabletop and we are driving to Arkansas for a little cabin board game weekend with some other friends from Devin's Discord and from just like the board game Community um they are just all wonderful wonderful humans and I'm so excited for this weekend I'm a little bit nervous for the filming at IV but I'll do fine foreign basically we're just we're just playing Mythic mischief and I've played it I think maybe like three or four times now not the most amazing at it but it's okay it'll just be for fun it's a good time um and yes that is pretty much everything I'm going to head in and I'm going to you know do all the airport stuff and a color that's marked off that power can't be used until all of those symbols are cleared the reason why I say all of these are temporary is because say Amber wants to go north three times the only I'm sorry [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] Hello friends what is up I am officially back at my house um it has actually been a few days since I've been back but I just got to editing the Vlog that you're currently watching right now my trip to Nashville as well as Arkansas it was probably my favorite trip thus far I absolutely loved Gen Con I absolutely loved level up but this I really got um close with a lot of people and just like the bond and the friendships that were built on this trip just I I just I love so so much so yes it was a fantastic trip I had a great time with the ivy crew they just were so so welcoming and so nice and really um like cared for um the three of us that joined actually the four because technically Devin came as well um but really just treated us really nicely um we went out to the movies and we watched Barbie which was so much fun and just had a lot of hangout time and then we also did um do all of the content and stuff which was very very fun um hopefully I think when this video goes up I don't think any of our content will be out yet so I don't want to spoil anything but I had a lot of fun playing Mythic Mischief if you guys do not know they have a new campaign coming out for Mythic Mischief volume two the beginning or like closer to mid-september on September 12th so definitely check that out if you are interested but we played a ton of Mythic Mischief I am not the best at Mythic Mischief so if you're watching any of those videos just know I'm not the best and please do not judge me uh but um yeah I just had such a fantastic time with them and we did do a like I think we ended up driving for like five and a half hours um from Nashville to Arkansas and then we hung out at Devin's place for a bit um everyone else joined that were part of that cabin weekend trip and so we all met up at Devin's house and then we had another like owl hour or so drive to an Airbnb that we all stayed at it was gorgeous it was on the water and we just played games we hung out I got to meet a ton of new people um created bonds with a ton of new people which I am really really happy about so yeah overall fantastic weekend I think my favorite games for the weekend were probably blood rage I got to play Blood Rage which was fantastic it's definitely not a game that if you ask me a few months ago I would even consider playing but I'm definitely opening up my options or my um just my mind to different games that I typically wouldn't play so yeah I'm happy that I played that is probably one of my favorites also Vindication is starting to become one of my favorite games of all time I just love that game so much I love the mechanisms it is like action action point or action selection as well as some oh my goodness my dog out there is turning into a gremlin penny has often turned into a gremlin when she gets mad at Walt but anyways Vindication I don't really know exactly Tableau building I guess it's a very unique game and has a lot of unique things to it that I really enjoy so loved that Wonderland's war was fantastic it was just long um and we played a ton of monikers which I actually have never played monikers before I've always played times up um so that was very fun probably like the one that we played most often was monikers and it's really nice to have like everyone come together and play um a game instead of like everyone breaking off into different groups but anyways yes overall such a fantastic weekend um hopefully you guys enjoyed seeing a little bit of a behind the scenes usually in these kind of um circumstances I don't usually like talk to the camera um I just kind of am behind the camera most of the time and I just love showing what I'm seeing um and just showing a little bit of my experience so hopefully that's okay with you guys I will maybe in the future if I get more comfortable with talking to a camera I will maybe talk to the camera but I feel like you know I like seeing what the person is seeing I don't want to you know listen to them talk about things I would rather them show the things that they're talking about so yeah anyways I love you guys so much thank you so much for
