3:03 everything is in a mist of like mist of mystery so I in principle the game is you are I suppose Godlike creatures I think trying to create a world doing some tile drafting there a little bit of hex movement supposedly but all I know is that and that's enough and the fact that it's going to be there to demo I'm going to go and check it out and that's enticed me so I'm going to be sitting down to play it it sounds like a super mega surprise so yeah let's we see have a look at this number 10 Matt moving into number nine what have we got uh we got Purge from the guys at inside up games so this is very yes Pur we're talking about a lot of birds birds birds is the world it was my understanding that everyone had heard heard what Brian don't bir is the word um so it's it's a game from inside up games that in the past few years they brought out games s Earth yeah draft and WR records yeah Terminus Terminus and now this so now this game sounds like it's going to be something like an AA control uh with this very interesting U bag building mechanism common bag building mechanisms where you're basically trying to control territories using Birds absolutely and each bird each style will have different Power different scoring mechanisms and and all the stuff sounds really really interesting not too many information at this moment however knowing the guys I

4:34 didn't set up game hey guys um uh they manage every year to bring out something on the table really really good and every time at different kind of games yeah and that's what they makes this guys some wants to have it on your list so if you don't know in set up games definitely go and check them out they've always got something new exciting and different and this I am sure will be no different per looks absolutely fabulous and we're very excited to sit down and give it a go yeah and let the birds fly perch Wayne um next one we just talked about um uh names from the past um talking about a few designer and now we we're going into this revival games that is been a little bit of a things in theal yeah in the in these um in the recent past and this we are talking about of of a big games from the late 90s that is getting a revamp a revamp a rebuild a revisit by the original designers and they are back Mr Kramer and Mr Keeling back again with a look at teal Legend tal was a shus winner from the late 90s as you say Matt and tal there's a hex exploration game using action points to have a look through texes to get Treasures to control temples it looks absolutely

6:04 fantastic and this is a revisit of that using the same framework but with even more tools in the toolbox to explore the game with they they made the games relative to 2024 with with everything that they learn in the the last years I love love love love love this uh Trend towards designers revisiting their old games and going what if we did this yeah uh to like bring up to date in line with maybe modern sensibilities abolutely what a stunning I love it I love that whole thing it's been brilliant so far and I can't wait to demo this and see what they've done with t yeah especially for for games that like T car they're very difficult to find on the market these days and if you find it you're going to find out like a beat down copies from from the '90s um while it's very cool and even back in the days had a very nice production so I can't can't wait to see what they made of this absolutely this I don't even think it's being released for like at least another year so to get to play this round advance I think is going it's going to be it's going to be kind of like a pro see what it might going to look like so yeah very keen to play tial Legend like in playing Indiana Johns isn't it kind of like copyright so Matt for our next pick we're going to something completely different and that's the amazing thing about Spiel there is something for everybody everybody can be happy everyone can be happy and if you want to chill out got a nice chilled out pick for you yeah we got a little game uh that is a sequel to a series of other

7:37 games and we're talking about rail roll tile this time you're not rolling writing you are placing tiles beautiful and there is uh basically I think the mechanism is still the same you're trying to build your route of trains and everything and uh but this time instead of the Rolling right you got a tower placement and it looks so cute isn't it beautiful absolutely super cute looking game um I mean horrible guilds have their own Vibe at this point their style is like you can really tell it's them Italian we do we do stuff way they they did it with quicksand and then with Sunrise Lane has that's that kind of vibe to the game bright asy colors really cute looking and this looks like a fantastic spin on what is already a fantastic rolling right and taking it into more of like a a board game board game right we taking yeah nice and quick playing but we love to placing I freaking love no it it seriously is um it looks really really nice and it's going to be I'm sure it's going to be one of those games that we going to get and play in between games so like when we just want to chill and have a beer and so take it to the cafe take it so um yeah we really excited to demo this game uh and you should be too absolutely one of our favorite game from last year um was distilled yes it was great game

9:09 absolutely fantastic game phenomenal um and the gamees at pson did did again presenting another game that is probably even better than this Ste yeah and I I think it may well be and it's also one that is right up my street in terms of uh theme and it's luia uh it's luia the art of the instrument and it is firstly and foremostly absolutely beautiful uh it's it's one of the most beautiful game boards and components I ever seen like it's absolutely stunning so we saw what I think is the final SL near final final Final already absolutely version at UK games Expo this year and it is stunning um aside from the looks and the production of the game which is top-notch as you'd always expect from pavon games uh the gameplay is fantastic utilizing a blind beard slw worker placement mechanism so you are placing your worker which has a sort of a power value under it you play that face down so when you resolve the action it'll be the person that played the most experienced worker and and you try basically yeah to not only build instruments for your for your patrons um you try as well to have those instrument being played at the orchestra at the orchestra and being the first violin and being like the the most important instrument at the same times they pavon did an amazing and fantastic job researching about yes all of that because all the characters in the games

10:41 they all like historical character from betoven to Vivaldi stradivari all those characters and um they went to a musicologist so they they actually went to someone that really know about that stuff history mus and trying to make it as um and most Matic precise as possible and it look absolutely fantastic yeah I played a very very early copy of this two years ago I think two years ago it wasn't UK maybe it was ukg last year anyway long time ago uh and I'm very very excited to sit down again and play newer can't

11:26 wait Matt what's the next one on the next one on the list we got the new game from Paulo Mori the same guys that that worked on libertalia they work on fall of R and of course Captain flip Captain F from that it was runner up to Game of the Year HP um just two months ago and uh it coming out with a game that L absolutely stunning to look very unique style of of artwork and then I think on top of that we got an area majority game with deck building and in Civilization build area expanding your areas and building and stuff and it sound terribly interesting really is this is alai dawn of civilization I mean what a beautiful looking game this sounds absolutely amazing it sounds right on my street it sounds great it sounds great right up my street so as well as your your deck building element uh you are going to be expanding your territories but it looks like some of the cards that you have in your deck will work better or worse depending on what territory you're in depending on the territory I think of the card so which is really cool it might encourage you to go certain places um and then as you expand and play more of the game uh you're going to be getting different upgrades and expanding your upgrading your civilization there therefore adding more permanent asymmetric powers to your to your player area player all sounds really really

12:58 good sounds we definitely want to go sit down at the and and have have play a this because absolutely amazing again uh yeah poo we'll see you soon for the next one we got a game that I believe you managed to play uh quite a while ago isn't it yes I did uh and it is a board game take on things like Twisted Metal yeah that sort of thing and it's Joy Ride by the folks at rebell I unplugged and my goodness I can't wait to see the final production and play that in person so demoing this game has got to be on the list for the weekend uh joy ride if you don't know is car Carnage it is Mario Kart Twisted Metal all of that yeah racing around the track smashing your friends up throwing allil slicks behind you shooting rockets at your opponents all of that absolute chaos a it's a destruction der destruction Derby destruction Derby uh with this um cartoon style that neon neon colors is absolutely great is um it's something like kind of like Borderland the video game style so you got that idea and it sounds like an absolutely Joy because like um not not taking it itself too seriously but very much uh yeah just destruction and and fun something like

14:31 much AR yeah in a circular Arena SL uh sort of uh racing map I what you call a racing map a r course R course I thought do you call it a course a track a track there a racing track anyway and it's great you can smash into your friends spinning their cars around but it doesn't matter you can just reverse and just keep going it's amazing anyway I can't wait to Blade Joy Ride it's pure chaos can't even speak yeah and if you want him yeah you want to have some fun around the table that is a game that you should definitely have a look and demo do it it's great so the next one up Matt we are moving from chaos and Carnage to adjust order order the world order from a geric that is the new guy the new game from the guys that brought up at Germany a few years ago the Mega Heavy super interesting Euro asmet game yeah this one is set up to be in in the GE geopolitical World um uh theme so where each player is going to control a different faction and faction I'm talking about EU China the us but all based on real U um political uh scenarios uh that everything all the games is based on the the political scenarios that we had a couple of years ago like late '90s or early early 2000 yeah so um so you got the EU

16:03 China and Russia and the US and it's all based about you going to need to keep keep a hand on uh on all your resources your economy uh your political influence military all exactly going to keep order and um it sounds super interesting again the guys what they they did with um Germany before and trying to do right now as well is getting that take on the real political situation in the world and raising a little bit of awareness and and making it into a to a um a serious game and I'm serious I mean like it's going to make you think about things yeah absolutely while also being an absolutely solid game uh yeah hedonic project are doing some really exciting different things in the industry and that is reason enough to sit down and Demo World Order yeah we had a sneak peek few months ago and it was M Wai for the next one we are both super excited about this game and we cannot wait to sit down and play Speak Easy by eagle Griffin games speak EC is the team up between Vel Lera Eagle Griffin and artist Ian OU to create what looks like an absolutely beautiful let let me say now before we talk we before we talk about the game the game itself the mechanics and everything this as the

17:33 best artwork and the coloring and that I've seen in ages this looks absolutely amazing the vibe is so so cool so speak easy as you might imagine is set in 20's prohibition era Manhattan where you are going to be a mobster and competing Mobsters trying to create your Empire of speak easys You're going to be sort of casting your iron fist over the mob trying to uh increase your influence maybe even running casinos as well you're got to be raiding sort of rum runners to try and get your booze yeah the most important thing is you need to bring booze to the to the speed easy and this sounds like there's going to be this um pick up and deliv mechanism with this like absolutely amazing like little trck um but Bo in them apart from that again it's end Management Area majority pick up and deliver with this with this like 1920s Vibe so I can imagine like we playing the game with a little bit like of mus in the background amazing talking about like with all the mafas it's always around the corner with lucky luchan looking at you and asking you his but not this one we are super super excited I think this is going to be like a big big boom we're going to sit down and demo this oh yes yes yeah this one

19:31 finally even better even better and we're talking about another reimplementation reimagination of a of a order game where they pick up the the the original designer probably back into 2024 to create something that is not again it's not a risky is a completely it's a game that is been made from scratch yes um built up with the love of the or game in mind and the original game I'm talking about is colos that's why the Roman and the the new the new one the 2024 version let's let's call it that way is Coliseum a titles oh my gosh by Fantasia games Fantasia games has done some amazing stuff with some incredible production' already had another one on this list we can't wait to see you guys there we always have fun with you guys AB yeah cuz we they brought up unconscious mind Floy um which one endless winter yeah a lot of amazing game this one again sounds like to be another heavy Euro that you really love and I really love the theme however we're talking about wolf and krmer as well the legend himself H Ian the artwork that is again wow you just look and it's wow um and uh you basically um working in the Coliseum as

21:02 the asario and you trying to put up the best show the greatest show the bloodiest best show on Earth for your patrons bring them in by the Thousand yes and this game utilizes some uh set collection some contract uh fulfillment all that's great stuff and work placements and and all the stuff so you're basically trying to contract um the um whatever the whatever show you want to put up and getting the Gladiators to fight and float up the Coliseum to put the put the put the ships in it and it it sounds so great that I can't wait to get demo this game it's going to be fantastic I have no doubt mat that was 10 games that all look absolutely stunning and like I said I don't know how time we're going to try and demo all of these amazing games we will try well you will try we're going to try hopefully it's a hard job hopefully if see us like begging for a chair at the table please please space or just us let's play with you guys we we want to play with you guys so absolutely we would be very very happy to do so absolutely and I'd like to know what games you're going to demo yeah let us know in the comments below because there's like a thousand freaking like too many it tookes us a long time to do this I've
