Tom's Boring Unboxing Video - July 22, 2026
Transcript
Hey everybody, I'm Tom Vassal. Welcome to the most boring unboxings on the planet Earth as we open up stuff that comes into the Dice Tower and see what it is. Of course, if you watched our video last week, you know that it's not quite that un-boring. But, let's see what we got here. Oasis, new life on a distant world from the Op. And this looks doesn't look like an Op game at all. Looks actually pretty cool. I don't know much about this game. When I say much, I don't know anything about it. A chain system? I've seen one like that. Neat. Next, we have a fairly hefty box. It's not that big, but it has some heft to it. So, I'm assuming there's a Maybe it's a Kickstarter game or something. Who knows? Let's find out. Uh it's Oh, it's a couple games. Okay. Oh, more than a couple. We got Dragonarium.
So, this is a new game from WWBG. Uh What Would Bob Give? Wonderful World of Board Games. I don't hate the art. Looks very abstract. Okay. And what else we got from these folks here? We have Seven Grave. That is uh very creepy cover. Movie Holic. Combine three emojis and name a film. Uh I've seen that before. And then Knock Knock Out from Homo Sapiens Lab. Flip or take a card. Boom, no match, take both, get seven cards, you're out. Huh? All right. Okay, let's see what's in this box. Got a bunch of, you know, medium-size small boxes here.
It's a game called Stakeout. Mm, I like steak. Along with a play mat and a dice tray. All right. For one to four players. A competitive dice placement game. All right. I am trying to figure out what's in this bag, but it will remain a mystery, but let's solve the mystery.
Tap four. With stickers. Make your own luck. So, this is like a follow-up, I assume, to uh Flip Seven. But, who knows? Usually, sequels to very popular games are not that popular. See dose. All righty, this is kind of a weirdly packaged box.
OH! OOH! OOH! OOH! Tag Team Arthur's Legend Legacy. I really like Tag Team, so glad to get a new one. Nice. All righty. Another box that seems to be like just put together.
Inter Intelle War. A scent ascension. What? Accession to the throne? I Accession to the throne. What does that even mean? I mean, the game looks cool. Looks like a Summoner Wars abstract back and forth game. Looks really interesting, actually. I just don't get the name. All right. A bigger box. What is in it? Okay, we got Super Battle Pets. Uh this is the new game from Plaid Hat Games, along with the playmat set. And then some new Ashes Ascendancy stuff.
All right. Cool. Oh, wait. I think there's another little game in here. This one is called Bramblequest. Small little game. Okay, well, let's take a look at what's in this one here.
Ah. Now, you might be like, "Climbing Train isn't new." You're right, it's not, but it got destroyed in our library, so this is a replacement copy. Okay, well. Let's take a look
at this one here. Huh. This is the Mysterious Package Company, the Demonic Pop-Up Puzzle Escape. Dimensions Pop-Up Mystery Manor. I'm kind of very interested in this. An interactive pop-up puzzle game. Part puzzle escape, part deductive mystery. It's a pre-assembled for clues. Da da da da da. Interesting. All righty. I think my kids might like this. Well, this one is not particularly a game. Uh, this is actually a very useful tool that we get.
This is the big class calendar. And it is a calendar for the entire year, but it's set up for a a classroom year. And so, we put these up in the Dice Tower, and so you we can kind of see the events and things that are coming over the next year. Okay, hey, it's a smaller box, but feels like there's some some cool games inside. I don't know how a game box feels if it's cool. Huh. Even Glow, a single game. My word, are we ever going to quit with the games that start with EV? Uh Okay. Oh, it's from The Op. Okay. Interesting. Well, I hope it's cool. Looks very abstract. Well, this box is really light.
So, I haven't a clue what could be inside it. Maybe it's a small card game. Some sort of game. Big Apple. Spin the wheel, draw the pieces, beware the rotten apple. From RoseArt Games. Oh, there actually is a puzzle piece in here. Huh. This feels very, very simplistic. How does it work? Has a spinner. I'm a little intrigued. And there we go, folks. Another most boring unboxing in the world.
I'm Tom Vasel. We'll see you next time with a live unboxing from Gen Con, but for now, lots of exciting games to look at.
