Auction update and some channel updates!

0:01 It's kind of up and down thing, but uh I mean, that's the best way I can put it. It's just an up and down thing.

0:11 [cough] [clears throat]

0:12 Every Every time something goes up, something goes down. That's for doggone sure around here. Uh I just got to get a pair of glasses so I can see any comments that come in, folks. Um First off, uh Today's the last day of April. Can you believe it? We're going into May. How is that even humanly possible? May already. Well, I'll tell you this much. Uh I got the Kentucky Derby this weekend. You know, hockey playoffs, basketball playoffs. Baseball's in full swing. Uh Monster, how you doing? Shannon, how you doing?

0:54 [snorts]

0:54 Uh hold on here. I got to try to adjust myself. This is not easy with this minstral sitting on my leg. Um So, uh like I said, um the first thing I want to say is that the auction will run through Tuesday morning. Uh I'll be live on on Sunday, hopefully with some bids to tell you. Right now, we I mean, I think we got like two bids out of the 10 lots. Uh one was on the Grim Coven uh Kinfire, and the other one was on Galaxy Defender lot. Everything else has no bids, so just have at it. Check out the video. Um help us out if you can. We'd really appreciate it. Uh if you can't you know, if you could just spare a dollar, hey, you could donate to snickelfritz64@yahoo.com.

1:46 We We would appreciate it. It'd just make things a lot easier around here with uh the the the unbelievable uh bills from this stupid leg. Um Uh tomorrow, I'm you know, we're at the midway point, which is good. So, we're going to get we're going to be in a boot. We're going to have uh start therapy, and then hopefully very soon start walking cuz right now I'm hopping and using my little scooter or my crutches. But, I'm hoping to get where I can walk and I can kind of limp around a little bit and try to get things going here. The other thing we found out is that it doesn't look like Cox Cox rejected the do the contract. They did They fired the people that they were going Well, they let go of the people that they were going to do the contract with.

2:39 So, I don't know where our internet is. Okay. So, we're So, we're So, are we back live again? Can somebody just let me know that we're live? Yeah, a phone call came in. So, it kind of froze it for a minute. So, I'm sorry about that. Uh looks like we're still here. Okay. All right. If somebody can just let me know if they can see and hear me, and I'll continue on. Stupid phone call. Yeah, you're live. All right, thank you, Shannon. All right, so that was just a a phone call.

3:26 Um when a phone call come in I don't know how you can stop phone with your streaming, how you can stop that. Well, anyways,

3:34 [clears throat]

3:34 uh the best thing that I can tell you is is that we will still be using more of the camera internet, and we'll just use We're going to try to wire the Starlink out here to get a little better um connection out here. So, you know, we'll push through no matter what. It just is what it is, you know, life is life. Um It's tougher when you live on a farm. You know, this is not something I wanted. That's for sure. But, you know, the family's doing well, and that's all that matters. Um

4:10 [sighs]

4:12 Yeah, so the auction will go uh until Come on. Uh will go till Tuesday morning, and then I'll get everything out, and then we'll get the packages out. So, it'll go pretty quick. Um What was the other thing I had to tell you? Yeah, oh, I told you about the internet. Uh told you about the auction. We've got two lots that were bid on. Uh Galaxy Defender and uh Kinfire. Uh there's a lot of good stuff there. I added I added a few things to the Warhammer Quest. The two mystery lots are huge. Um there's just a lot of good stuff for you guys to take a look at. Good to see you able to get back to your regular recording space.

5:00 Yeah, but yeah, uh they cleared it away so I can get my little Please leave me alone. Um So, Okay, [clears throat] I was able to stop that. There were a couple Uh FedEx is the worst company in the world. The worst. They They never deliver anything where they're supposed to. They dropped something off off at the Dollar General um that um I'm supposed to review. So, my wife went down looking. She went looking at my daughter's house. You know, they said they they dropped it off, but all they did was take a package they take a picture of the package, not where they dropped it off.

5:46 And they're just sloppy. Sloppy. They Sometimes they leave it in the road so somebody can take it. And it's just stuff that drives you absolutely um insane. It It It really does. And it's frustrating, and it's madness. Um But, you know, you know, we get through it, you know? But, we found out that it's at the Dollar General, so we got to pick that up. It is a very very cool baseball game that I'm very very looking forward to check checking out. Um there's a lot of history behind it. And from what I've been seeing it, I think it's actually better than Strat-O-Matic or uh APBA.

6:31 Um it's probably one of the better baseball games that I think you should check out. So, uh we're going to go pick it up, and then I'm going to go through it this weekend. Ooh, excuse me. No rest for the for the dead, huh? Uh I'm going to go through it, and we're going to uh let you know what we think of it. Um Jeez, did I put my thing in here? Um no, of course I did not. I have a thumb drive I need to bring out here, and uh I need to film. Uh I've got to film a couple of box openings. Uh Grand Archives, Radiant Origins, and I got Flesh and Blood uh that we're going to be opening up and taking a look at, which I'm really looking forward to.

7:31 So, I'm really really good stuff to check out. Some really good You know, card games are really really really doing some great stuff, and I you know, it's kind of hard to to not see that, but um one of the things that we're trying to do also is clear off this space so we could start playing some of these bigger games I want to get out here. Um so, I'm looking forward to doing that. Speaking of which, I just thought of something. This can go up there. That's good. Okay, that'll give me a little bit more room over here. Um I want to do some Just looking forward to doing a lot of stuff. Like I you know, I tell you that all the time, and I put out quite a few videos every week. So, you know, it's not like I'm not working on it. You know what I mean?

8:19 But, uh the auction, like I said, will end this this coming Tuesday. There's plenty of great stuff. If you haven't seen the video, please go check it out. Bid uh the best you can. And uh right now, we only got two out of the 10 bid We We only got two bids on on those 10 10 lots. So, there's a lot of stuff that has no bids on it. So, uh you know, do yourself a favor. Help yourself out. There's some great great stuff. The role-playing stuff is ridiculous. I mean, it's it's hundreds and hundreds of dollars of stuff. Um and and really good, you know, especially with Dungeons & Dragons being dogged lately. Um What else do we got? We got some stuff coming. I spent I spent part of the morning uh I decided to email every company I can think of and say, "Hey, you know, uh I don't charge anything.

9:17 We've got a pretty decent following. You know, if you send us a free game, you know, we'll take a look at it for you. I think that's pretty fair, right? I'm not like these guys, you know, you know, as you know, there's a huge war going you know, uh between Rodney and and Chaz. Um And you know, for the most part, you know, I don't want to comment on it. But, you know, a lot of a lot of influencers make these infomercials, and they ask to be paid by video, especially the bigger people. Um I don't want to do that. All I want to do is if you send me a send me a game, even though it was a kind of sort of payment and it helps me out a bit, you know, I'm going to be brutally honest.

10:06 And uh and I have in the past. And I think that's a better way to do it. Because if you get paid, you kind of you know, especially if you're paid content, uh hey, this was paid. I mean, no matter how you say it, you know, like Stonemaier sends me stuff and I really enjoy those games. I really do. You know? Um I you know, some other people have sent me stuff and I've gone through and I really enjoyed things. I I mostly I could find something good in almost every game except for anything from Games Workshop lately. Um and I usually haven't a you know, a problem with Mantic. I did not email them because I know what the answer would be. No.

10:52 Um and I look, but they look like they're doing some good stuff, too. So, you know, with the Halo um and they're supposed to be doing some epic warpath and stuff like that. Looks really interesting. You know, I may I I may shell out some bucks and bring that in. I just hope I'm not disappointed. I liked what they did with Armada. I thought that was one of the one of the games that I absolutely love. Um

11:21 you know, it is what it is. And uh I'd rather be honest and then and and just do my best. There you go. Uh let's see. You guys got any questions for me or anything? Been on 11 minutes already. Uh it feels like an eternity. I'm just so tired today. I didn't sleep very well last night. Um kind of tossed and turned. Um And then uh I worked all day today. And uh it just, you know, it wears you out. And then this, you know, I'm itching to start walking and you know, kind of get back to some kind of feel like I'm normal a bit. Cuz you know, right now you can't you can't leave anywhere. You're stuck in you know, have you ever been in the house for a long period of time and your head starts to hurt? You start to get a headache just from being in a closed in space?

12:26 Um I started getting that. And you know, I'm like looking forward to the weekend. I'm looking forward to going to the doctors tomorrow. That's a big thing. Oh, I'm going to get to go outside. I'm going to get to sit in a car, you know, like a dog with his head hanging out the window. Um this has been really tough for me. You know, when when I tore my bicep that time, it was kind of like, okay. You know, and I was in a cast for a while. But, you know, I still went to the gym, worked my legs, ran a little bit. Um I was able to do everything. I started doing things with my right hand. Couldn't paint, but I was still on the channel doing stuff. And you know, life was normal. I could walk around. I could drive with one hand.

13:12 You know, a lot of that stuff. Um When when when you when when you lose one of your one of your wheels, you ain't going too far. You ain't going too far. Have you played Dune the card game? Dune the card game. I I I haven't heard about that. Uh who's it by? If there is a Dune the card game, I will get it. Is it an old game? Is it a new game? I haven't seen anything about Dune the card game. Now you have my curiosity. Now you have my curiosity. Dune the card game.

14:01 Let's see what Mr. Stahle has to say about that. We'll see uh what he feels. Um let's see. What have I played? Card game lately? Uh Alpaca Doom caller. That's a great game. Heroes of the Inner Sanctum, which is great. Great. Just great great games. Geez. Uh he's not saying anything. So, we'll see where that goes. Sitting on the stool even hurts. Uh I played Godzilla Reign of Kaiju. I played uh Time Rift lately.

14:47 You saw the video on that. Uh me and my son played uh the other day. That was a lot of fun. Cuz it's only four rounds. It's it's hopefully kill the guy if you can. Uh game I didn't try I didn't I I I saw a video about was Darktide. I wasn't too thrilled with it. So, I walked away from it. Um What else? Oh, I got Bag of Dungeons over there I want to break out and play. I want to play Bag of Dungeons, too. Um Just a lot of stuff. So, I'll be on this Sunday for about uh early in the morning.

15:33 Uh I'll get you guys all caught up with the auction. Uh like I said, go check out the lots. Um let me know if you see anything. All right. Um that you like. Um send me your bids to novaprime860@hotmail.com. Someone asked if we shipped over uh Oh, it's an old game. I think I played the old game. It was pretty good back in the day. Uh I was going to say there was an old one that I played. Um I wonder if I still have any of that. I'll have to look. I got the old BattleTech card game, which was a lot of fun. Uh I'm sorry. Um What the heck was I thinking?

16:23 Oh, um Yeah, so um somebody asked if we ship overseas. We use um we use a pirate ship, so they ship overseas. You pay for shipping. Make sure you email me at novaprime860@hotmail.com. And then we'll get you up to date. Uh you know, we'll we'll uh we'll take your bid. We'll put it in the book. If you win, you're winning, we'll let you know. If you're losing, we'll let you know. I'm trying to think what else. Yeah, novaprime860@hotmail.com. Check out the lots and we'll be good there. Um There were a couple games that I wanted to take a look at.

17:11 That is in shrink wrap that I'm itching to get. Oh, Imperial Stars, too. You see you could play from Pongo Games. I've got to I've got to bring that down and get into that. Uh let's see. What else we got here? Yeah, so I'm going to try to keep this to around 20 minutes or so. Keep it nice and tight. Nothing too too crazy. Uh Shadows of Brimstone. Oh, really cool video coming out tomorrow the matter of fact. Uh make sure you check that out. Uh it is the top 20 dungeon crawls board game and a video and board game. So, out out of those two genres, uh I I picked what I thought were the top 20 games from not from both, but combined. What I thought was the greatest of all time dungeon crawls video or board game.

18:11 And uh it was pretty even almost. I think uh the video games edged it out by one or two games. Um and that was a hard list to put together because there's just been so much stuff I played over the years. There were some things I added in there. I'll tell you this much, you had to put Dungeons and Dragons in there as a dungeon crawl because it inspired so many things. But, I put it pretty low. And then I really kind of I kind of went with what what I loved and it turned out to be a lot of really old old school stuff. So, you know, check [snorts] it out. Uh I threw some new things in there to be fair.

19:06 Um but I think you'll get a kick out of it. Um it was a lot of fun to do. Uh I like doing videos like that, so I hope you enjoy that one tomorrow. And uh it'll be a lot of fun uh for you guys to sit and watch. It's not too long. It's only I try to keep things under 20 minutes. So, you know, it's not like some hour long and me rambling. Uh so, uh I will tell you this, that's about it. I think uh we covered everything. I hope you all have a wonderful wonderful weekend. Um Uh favorite animal. My favorite animal? It says add a Q&A sticker.

19:51 Uh want to try it. Let's see what that says. Oh, it disappeared before I can hit it. That was the weirdest thing. Just popped up. Try a Q&A. What is your favorite animal? Uh, it have to be my dog. My girl. I like cats, too, though. Uh, take care, Rob. Have a great weekend. You guys, too. Uh, I will definitely see you guys on Sunday. All right. We'll go over everything. So, uh, again, I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week tomorrow, and I will see you over the weekend. Uh, I got more videos to make. So, uh, I think I'll get those done, then it's dinner time. Me and the queen.

20:38 We're on our own tonight. Everybody's out and about. Uh, love you all. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and until next time, it's your old pal, Rob. We shall see you soon.
