Our Gen Con 2026 Vlog (Day 2!)

0:02 Good morning. It's a lovely day here at Gen Con. Day two.

0:06 Oh yeah, it is day two. I'm always confused. It feels like day three just because we came up here on Wednesday, day zero, but it's not official. But we have things going on today like we do every day and we have to tag team a lot of things as usual.

0:21 Yeah, the baby is doing amazing at the meetings and stuff that we have. Night times are starting to get a little questionable. shoulders are starting to get worn out. All of that stuff. Uh

0:33 very worn out.

0:35 Uh yeah. So, a little a little exhausted going into day two, but that's all right. Uh that's what gent's for. Sleep is for new dad, I think.

0:43 I hope not. But we'll show you everything that we're doing.

0:48 I got a wrestling. The thing I'm most looking forward to today, there's a wrestling match that Pandasaurus is uh sponsoring and putting on to promote one of their new games has to do with pro wrestling. So, could be really weird and fun. We'll see how it goes. We'll show you some footage as we get there.

1:04 All right, we just got done playing Greenwood by Capstone. And by we, I mean Clara, because I was busy attending to um my third child. So, I'm very happy Claire was able to join us. What did you think of Greenstone by what did you think of it?

1:20 I thought it was really fun. It's very complex, but it was really short. like lots of things were going on, but at the same time, the game lasted like what, like 45 minutes?

1:30 It lasted a little longer than that, but it was

1:32 I don't know if you're just playing with really fast people cuz we're fast gamers,

1:36 but it was really short like but there was a lot going on at the same time. It wasn't unfulfilling.

1:43 Yeah,

1:44 the shuttle actually worked today uh right away. In fact, it was awesome. and the drivers in cosplay as the Joker eth leisure edition era. So yeah, he's getting a tip for sure. There's a pinball alley where there's just dozens and dozens of pinball machines all the way down. Uh which is awesome. Other way to spend on money. All right, we are finally here in time to get in as the doors open. As you can see, it is crowded all the way up as you will watch everyone running for the mad dash to get games.

2:25 Play with you for half of your meeting.

2:59 aspect a whole lot of different studios and as a result it's like a big chunk and percentage of the dealer hall we're having trying to meet someone and we can't find them. There's just that much space.

3:13 Yeah.

3:34 12, right? Okay, we our free one today is we have our little bubble friends here and we also today we have our shoulder aliens here. We have our robots from robot roll that we can put together. We have our sonic screwdrivers

4:02 there. Okay, we have our tripble containment. There's a guy to keep those contained. We've got some flower crowns we can decorate. And if you come around the corner, I think we can see our diarama today is area 52, which is our crash UFO. One of the things I really like about the Mly Kit area is that they have this ticketed craft you could do every day, but they always have free crafts that you can do every day, too. And I just think that's really cool. So, all of these boxes are used to create a fort over here, which I'm not going to show you because there's a bunch of kids in there and I don't want to get their picture in here without consent. But then there's all of these things that the kids can play.

4:47 So, you can just pick up any one of these games. And then there's all these tables behind me. And then, um, there's all these crafts drawing over here, which I'm not going to show you just because it has the kids' names on them. But you can make your craft, set it out to dry, and then come back and pick it up.

5:05 Tell me about your soap, Clara.

5:06 Okay, so um the room there are so many scents. Everything smells like a spice cabinet. I chose one called Purify Balance and there is Harvest Spice. It smells really good.

5:22 I'm sure they can smell it.

5:23 Smells like a lot.

5:25 Now I'm not coming up with a name for it. It's going to be like drastic. smells like cinnamon.

5:31 Upstairs, we're in the CGE room. There is a giant Galaxy Trucker setup where you can basically uh go nuts with these huge tiles. Uh I don't think we're going to play, but it's awesome to see. All right, so Drillers has been uh one of the games a lot of people are lined up to demo and buy here at the CG room. Um kind of a deck buildingish thing. You got these little mech dudes. Very cool. All right, we're playing Not Alone. We just finished up our demo there. It's basically kind of a deck building game as you were kind of deducing what's going on. We got one player who's the creature and then all the other players are all trying to escape from the creature. Uh cuz they are not alone. More things you can grow into. Every player's asynchronous.

6:23 three new lines of product that you will see coming from us in the future. People may not know this, but Chad and I, the two people running all play, love heavy economic and deeply strategic games. That's one of the main reasons we pursued Container and we're so passionate about bringing it back to the market. Some of our favorite games include Age of Steam, Indonesia, Roads and Boats, and another one that we'll talk about in a minute. Build a theme park, but to plan your trip to a destination theme park resort and work to have the most magical experience.

7:11 You'll plan out the best times for the thrill ride. So, I never have time to experience the food court area. Um, but I'm meeting with some friends from home and so that's what we're doing. Uh, the girls and I cuz the boy can't eat any are getting ice cream from here. So, I'm pretty excited about that and I'll do a quick video around it just so you can see what it is. All right, we're about to head into a super secret hidden wrestling match uh for Pandasaurus. Uh where they're going to be talking about some of their new games and products and stuff. So pretty excited.

7:50 Wrestling match is going to be wild. There's tons of people in full pro wrestling gear. I mean the actual setup is incredible. They are doing nothing. the cutest wrestling dog ever.

8:12 Also the only wrestling dog that I know of.

8:21 We have a lot of amazing wrestlers in the house tonight. Like we've got so many great matches for you. We've also got games for Panosaurus on tables and stuff like that. So you can check out games after the event. So, we got a lot of great people for tonight. Who all here? Is everybody in here at Jenny? Are you guys all

8:49 tapping?

10:47 Yeah. WA.

10:51 We're about to play Just Sayo, and it has the world's most adorable uh snowman pawn. Don't know what it does, but we're about to find out. Well, I can't say too much because everyone else is asleep, but it was a fantastic day. Wrestling was insane. Got to hang out with some great friends from Wisconsin and play some games last night or this night. Um, so yeah, a wonderful time. Tomorrow's going to be a doozy, though, cuz it is a little late.
