0:00 sometimes we just want to get along and be friends you know when yes when you want to play some co-op games in this video we're going to rank the best cobb games in our opinion that we have played recently so you can tell us hey where's glue we didn't no no no no that's the thing they can oh that you can unless we disable comments leave all the comments with all the games that we're missing because it's tons of funny usually to talk with you guys and there's no gloom in this video so if you came for gloomhaven stay for something else i'm just gonna randomly pull them out and oh that's a good one right there this is a project elite which is actually one of the first games we ever reviewed in this channel project elite is a real-time co-op game where everyone's at the same time rolling dice and you're playing these space marines that landed on a planet you have to go in do your objective and get out before you're either eaten or overrun and there's a lot of aliens coming at you and everything's hectic and you have two minutes for your round not a lot of time to talk but then when that action round's over you have some time to talk and i feel like in movies that's the part when you go like up back against the wall and reloading you're like okay you take left i'll take right ready go and then you go again and it's just hectic fun it's definitely not for everybody but like we said in our review if you have you that video gamer in your group then this is a board game that i think he'd enjoy immensely i'm gonna you know put it in the middle yeah see where it goes that could be your baseline tell

1:30 me a number from one to five three one two three the crew okay but it's trick taking game a cooperative one of that team has a specific task what card should which people pick up i need to get the trick with the green five in it and if we do all those our little missions we win the game if we had failed at least one we fail the mission and we can't talk about the game while playing it so it's one of the smallest games in our top but it's very highly rated we love it here it's a true like cop er you can't talk with each other yet you need to cooperate and everybody needs to understand the task and how to get it done really good and enjoyable if you can get the crew together to play with it max versus minions is a programmable co-op game where you're controlling a mech and you're all programming your mechs at the same time and then seeing what happens if it will bounce into a wall or it will turn around if it will fire and there are different scenarios where you're trying to accomplish different objectives you have to reach certain spaces you have to kill certain amount of minions maybe there's a boss fight and it's an amazing production really fun co-op game no yeah i saw that harry potter battle of hogwarts i'll put it here yeah i'll agree it's a lovely cooperative game deck building game with tons of fun what deck building means there's a big store you can use up your money to buy new

3:01 cards and improve your deck it's a very very satisfying game it's a bit broken it can get to a situation where it's really really tough to win you can't control it really you're almost there and then just the random will screw you over and you've been playing for an hour and you're like we have to redo this now it's the best harry potter game there is it's a lightweight cooperative game with tons of fun except when you lose miserably we're moving on to marvel united now that's tricky one marvel united is a super simple uh very accessible co-op game where each player picks a role of a hero and you pick a bad guy that you play against and each bad guy is different they act differently each hero is quite different which is surprising because their hero decks consist of what 12 cards and they managed to make them really unique and there's practically no text in the game and it plays like 30 to max 60 minutes and it's a very accessible game so if you're having that non-gamer friend that you like superhero movies he'll be into this game guaranteed what is it spirit oh come on yeah wow you even left room there interesting you can easily play it solo and a lot of people i think even most people enjoyed solo and it's also like this solo experience even if you play players you have your own island and you have your own hand of cards that have like ton of these effects that somehow combo and it's pretty tricky to get through that all by yourself and if you're trying to match up things with everybody else it's a lot of info a lot of things to keep track of so essentially it is like

4:32 a shared solo experience but it is a co-op game for sure and it is a complex one here you play as spirits and try to get rid of all the invaders by playing cards getting new cards getting more power and just trying to get rid of pesky people you start the game everybody has four cards and everybody's like ah this one works like that so i have to do maybe this one i think if you would just record the session of this game and not show the video you think that there's a cult meeting of some sort they'll go like no time yeah and that's why it is amazing from all the we've listed so far i think it's the most niche one okay let's go with uh this one i have really light ones you have really heavy ones and i have a really light one micro macro is a very unique game it's essentially a huge map of a city where you have to find little specific things it's not your ordinary like where's waldo type of thing because all the pictures are like a sequence of actions here i see a guy standing on the street but if i look a bit back i see him walking across the street then getting out of the car then he's driving the car then he's getting into the car and i can see where he's coming from and what he's been doing and that's the like main catch of this you're trying to figure out the sequence of things that how happened this is tricky i'd like to move it above the crew maybe are you an abruv project elite no about the crew about the crew what about above the crew i think the crew is a lot more challenging you will

6:02 get more out of it this is a fun yeah everyone likes better trick-taking yeah but not everybody i'll enjoy this one good luck seeing where my next one goes then sleeping god wow okay you left room right here i'd actually put sleeping gods above spirit island narrative is the most important thing for me in the games and then sleeping gods is just dripping with narrative so that's why i would put sleeping guns above uh spirit island you can you can move if you want yeah all right while you're doing that i'm gonna explain that uh sleeping gods is a huge story game an open world story game where you can travel wherever in this huge book that asks for resources there is a game element there but overall it's just this exploration of talking with people fighting with monsters the only thing you know is that you need to get as many totems as you can but you don't know where they are how to get them this will be for the strategist this will be for people who want the thematic feeling everyone's like okay here comes the gloom raven finally i mean how long has it taken for the moment okay you waited long enough here it is the mind over there no no no it's not gonna be there here about harry potter the mind is a definitely a love or hate game there's no turns you can't speak why are we even here but you had a really good point because when you get together with friends because you wanna you know know what's been happening and you play uh for example spirit island you're too preoccupied with just uh the game the game oh wow we didn't even really talk when you played this since
