0:23 Hello everyone. Hope you are all well. Uh this is not going to be very long cuz I have a very very very busy day today. Um and that's part of the the reason I'm I'm saying some of the things that I'm going to say uh or or the title for everything is I don't think I've ever been as busy as I am with this channel. Um you know, I've changed some things. I I'm trying to do some things differently. Um and and uh progress things. Just you know, I'm just enjoying myself. That's the best way to put it. And the thing that that that is is is getting me is you know, I I I have so much stuff to review. I I I have to go to five videos a week.

1:17 So next week you're going to see five videos. Because I have so much. And part of it is is thanks to um you know, Trading Card Market who's you know, Steve and I have been friends for a thousand years. Um you know, back when he owned Miniature Market. And that's a whole 'nother story that I'm going to give it one more week and then we're we're we're going to talk about Miniature Market if they don't do what they're supposed to do. We'll leave it at that. But um I have been I've gotten so many games that I have to go go through. And um just when I thought I was caught up another 10 come in. And that's really a good thing, you know.

2:05 Uh I've been doing a lot of uh like One Piece. I I I didn't realize how big and how much fun that is. I didn't even cover everything for one You know, I I've got this I've got to go through. Oh, what's this? Oh, I I was Then I got in this game which is really really cool. City of Demons we're going to be talking about. The new Mage Knight uh Apocalypse uh Dragon I brought in. Um uh shh Gordino Karisha and Terg Nog Got Nogger something like that. I've got those three from Grand Grand Gamers Guild I've got to go through. Uh over there. Um we are going to be looking at um Actually, I'm going to do a play through of Bag of Dungeons with my grandson.

3:01 Um so we're going to do that. Um and and and we've been trying to shoot it, but I've been so busy doing everything. You're going to see Pirate Borg. Uh you're going to see um I'm going to rip open a box of Rift Bound League of Legends Origins. The the the the very first box. We got Flesh and Blood. Um what else do I got? I got a bunch of GMT stuff I I got to get done. Uh I've got um I I mean, I can go on and on with all the stuff and I'm really happy about it. You know, the redesign, you know, the commitment that that I made you know, that I said, "Hey, listen, I'm going to try to do things a bit better." We've got the you know, we're we're about 5 weeks away from from the new internet. Um let me just bring this down a little bit so you don't catch that light up there.

3:55 Sorry about that. Um, so you know, we're pretty close on that. Uh, so the quality's going to keep getting better. I'm trying to to do smart things. Uh, I've been using AI and everything to to make covers, to make it more attractive. Um, and I've been really taking my time with things and I think I'm getting better results and ex- explanations of things. So, um, instead of going, "Uh, this doesn't look that good." giving it a a really concentrated time. And I think this has to do with a couple things. Number one, you know, the channel's really doing a lot better.

4:42 Number two, COVID's over now. And it's been over, you know, for a few years now. And these companies are starting to come back and you're starting to see more and more games come out. And I think that's a good thing. I think this is going to be a very, very busy summer uh, for new games. Right, Gam? I don't know what you're snorting about there, for. But, um, there are just a lot of things that are going on and it seems to be building some momentum, which is really, [clears throat] really a a a great thing, you know, when you think about it. Where [clears throat] we're going, where, you know, how things are going. Um, I'm trying to get these playthroughs in, but I'm just doing so many uh, different other things. Uh, you're going to see Heroes of the Heroes of the Sanctum, which is a great game.

5:36 You're [clears throat] going to see a video on that. Jeez, I I mean, I try to make them, you know, three or four or five videos and then all of a sudden four or five more things pop up. And it's nothing to complain about, you know, I'm not complaining. It's It's good. It's good. Um So we're just really moving and then uh I'm taking the kids today. I've got the grandkids uh for the day, so we're we're going to go up to the game store cuz we need a couple things to do a couple more videos. So we're going to be doing that, so um just just constant constant which I like, you know?

6:24 And I'm able I'm able to keep up with it. Uh I'm getting into a good rhythm and I think I think that's what's most important. Uh and plus just good stuff coming. Good stuff. Uh next week I believe is MegaCon here. Um which is the big um comic gaming uh show and stuff like that and I think we're going to go. We're going to go on Saturday, which is the worst day ever cuz they want to go see the Hobbits. Uh there's a Lord of the Rings shoot. They want to go see that. Go. I'm looking for three things. Godzilla old old science fiction movies and series.

7:13 I'm buying them up before they disappear. Okay. And then um I'm looking for certain graphic novels that I want to get my hands on. If I do accomplish those those deeds, it'll be a good day. Um yesterday we went up to Daytona um because Bike Week was over, thank god, and we wanted to go uh have lunch um where we normally have it uh up at the Polish restaurant. And what we didn't know was spring break. So, that was a bit of a an adventure, but we ended up going to the Daytona flea market and I found this place that had all kinds of um really cool um sports stuff and old gaming stuff and I was like, "Oh, oh, this is pretty cool.

8:08 Let's check this out." And we did and we had a good time with it. Well, I had a blast actually. Um boy, I got a bunch of Oh, I I I've got a game coming in that I can't wait to take a look at. It's called Malediction. And and I also have some expansions coming in from uh Battle Systems for Maladum, which I'm really looking forward to. So, we're going to I mean, I've got some really good stuff creeping in here. Um I'm going to try to find some of those expansions for Dragons uh Dragon Eclipse. Um and you know, I I've also got my play through of Cloudspire I I mean, it is really cranking lately.

9:00 And and that's a good thing. We also have taxes this week. Doing the the taxes for the farm is like the worst thing ever. It really is. It is brutal, but we'll get it done. Um trying to think what else that that we had that was interesting. Oh, yeah, I I was I was researching some stuff and I came across Marco um Mar- used to be he Oh god. What the heck does he call his channel? Meta Gamer Marco or something, Marco the MetaGamer, or something like that. It was It was Marco the Board Gamer at one time, or whatever. But, he had been around for 15 years.

9:46 And, uh he hung up his hat. And, he did it in such a classy way. I really liked him, and uh he was always very, very nice. And, I'm going to miss him being around. Um he was one of the good guys. It seems you lose the good guys, and you get three more creeps. But, um that's that's the board gaming world. Um you know, nobody lasts in it forever. As a matter of fact, a lot of people are starting to stop, because they see that there's there's not a lot of money in it. They're not going to become YouTube famous. And, and and the ones that usually do are are corrupt. So, you know, it's it's it's usually something weird. Me, I you know, I keep on doing this just out of the pure I don't know why, but I'm enjoying it.

10:38 You know, if I can help somebody find something, or if I can help somebody make a decision on something, then I think I've done a great job. And, that that's the way I've always looked at it. Um I just don't look at it the same way I did when I first started doing it. But, um I I'm I'm really in a nice zone here. It's really, um I'm really enjoying myself. And, that's the most important thing, I think. Um Right then. Uh one of the missions that I plan on doing through the summer is anything that is unwrapped, that that's still in shrink wrap, that we are going to open, and we are going to take a look at, and we are going to have some fun with.

11:29 Um the other thing I had going was I'm going to contact some individuals um that usually buy from me. And um I'm going to offer up some mystery boxes. Uh well I I you know, I'm offering up four mystery boxes. Uh I'm just going to fill them full of of stuff and send them out. And uh and because I just don't have a lot of time to do auctions and everything else with how busy I am. But I need to make some room here because a lot of these things I want to keep. See, I have this huge thing of See, I wonder if I should just keep going with this Frostgrave, if I'll ever get to it. I got two massive totes just of Frostgrave stuff.

13:14 Wow. Now I'm looking up at a I'm wondering what that bag in there is full of metal miniatures. Are there more pirates? Oh my goodness. I've got so much stuff. I don't know what to do with myself. This is such a good game, too. Ah, got to make time for it all, but we're going to try to. We're going to try to. We're We're just going to try to make as much time as we can for it. Everything and really kind of up our game a little bit. I'm continually striving. I've got my Mage Knight that I'm I'm really excited about breaking out because this thing Oh, man, I've been waiting for this for a while. I had to get it through uh WizKids. Oh my god, I think I paid three times the amount that I wanted to pay for it.

14:08 But, now what are you going to do? Those are the breaks. And then there's a new expansion for HeroQuest that I think we me and my grandson might knock out. So, uh a lot a lot a lot of stuff, a lot of busy busy busy stuff. Um now we got we got stuff going on the farm. Got my daughter's 30th birthday. She's the baby. Um that's coming up in a couple weeks. I've got MegaCon next week. The queen and I are supposed to go someplace, do something. I forgot. Uh April is Recon. I may I may go to that on Friday.

14:56 I may take a Friday off and go to Recon. I'm thinking about it. I I have not made up my mind, but I haven't been to a convention in a long time. And uh it'd be nice to get some footage and stuff like that. I think that'll be kind of fun. Um and I'm looking for some particular things. I might do that. Um so, yeah. Just uh all around busy busy busy. It's good. I mean I I I can't remember the last time it was like this except around Gen Con time like maybe seven seven years ago where I had stuff that I was well I I I sent home like case like like massive boxes.

I remember doing the video I couldn't all you can see was my head and I said, "Oh, we're going to go through all this." and I opened it up and and the video was like like 2 hours long of everything that I got at at at Gen Con and then I ended up uh I ended up filming like all the way up until November. Of just the stuff I got from Gen Con and then you know you had other stuff come out. I mean it was I was doing I was actually doing like six seven videos a week. And doing live content, too. Shh. Boy, those were the days. It got busy. It was busy. But you know it's I you know I feel those days are kind of coming back and I'm trying to get this place squared away where I can handle you know that [clears throat] kind of that kind of input.

16:45 Um you know I'm back to just doing you know telling you know I've never charged a publisher in my entire life. And uh you know I'm just making sure I'm going out and saying, "Hey, I'm not going to charge anything. All I'm going to do, you know, we've got about 27,000 and you know people that that follow us. And uh send you know send us the game we'll we'll do a review for you. You know we try to keep it real simple. So, you know, that you know, that's the kind of way that we're doing things and and you know, I think it it works, you know? But, things going in and out. I wonder what the heck is going on here.

19:09 Damn, I take the kids to Chuck E. Cheese today. Boy, that sounds like a good idea, Dad. It's 5 and 7. Chuck E. Cheese is like the greatest place in the freaking world. Then I'll take them to Freddy's for to eat greasy cheeseburgers and get them physically sick. Then we'll go to the game store. Then I'll take them for ice cream. Maybe the greatest day ever for them. I I hear uh I hear my wife yelling at them already.

19:56 They they they've tried so hard to be so good. They have tried so hard to be good for the past 2 days. Like they almost wanted to lock themselves in the room because they can't help but be bad. And they were just because I said "You guys mess up. It is not Papa day." Cuz my son is actually tearing down the chicken coop and rebuilding it. And there's no way they could do it and watch those two monkeys. So I just and my wife, she watches them during the week, so I told her I go, "You know something? I'll take them. I I Let me just get them out of your hair and you know, we're just going to go. We're heading for the you know, the 7-Elevens. So I think uh that's what we're going to do. So there we go. Like I I I've got some ideas. I've got some ideas.

20:47 We're going to keep busy. I got this place called Little Town. Maybe I'll take them to Little Town. Hm. But that don't open till 12. That means I would have to kill 3 hours. Cuz it's almost 8:30 by the time I get ready, 9:00. Time we get up there. Uh we could figure it out. We can figure it out. All right, my dear friends.

And they like Freddy's. They like Freddy's. They like Red Robin. I ain't taking them to Red Robin. I'm not sitting down with these two. Um We got one of those slider places. Oh, Smalls. But they won't try Smalls because their their their grandmother told them that it wasn't good. So, they're like, "No, we can't go there. It's not good." You never had it. How do you know?

Uh and and and it seems to be hitting on the YouTube the the the YouTube um analytics. And all of a sudden everybody realizes I'm still doing stuff, you know, and we're back. You know, and and we're overcoming some of the things that we have going. I got to get these playthroughs done. We're going to be doing Bag of Dungeons. We're going to be doing uh Warhammer Quest. I'm going to try to get have my grandson help me with it. Um

23:37 I'm trying to figure out more ways to incorporate it. I think I'm going to change the opening for the channel and stuff like that. Um new music, you know, just really clean house. You know, after 50 5300 videos you know, I think uh it's time to make some adjustments. Um and look to the future. Uh and I'm I'm really looking to the future. Um we're we're we're going to keep swinging here. Uh a lot of my friends are are hanging it up and it's sad. Uh you know, Ricky Royal doesn't make videos the way he used to. He's been very busy. Matter of fact, doing something for Oath. I miss him uh doing videos. Uh there's still some good people out there, but there's a lot of garbage out there, too. And all I'm trying to do, I think, is be that guy that's not an infomercial.

24:35 Um I have a small little following and just uh play to that. And I think uh if I just stay in my lane I'm I'm I'm going to keep having good time and I'll be able to do this for a while. Um and uh you know, and and enjoy it. That's the most important thing. You know? Um very sad about Marco. Couple other people that I've noticed that are that that that kind of just said, "Nah, that's it." You know. Uh people that, you know, I've met at conventions and things like that. And you know, you can only do this for so long. You really can. And, you know, and and and and it was kind of humbling, you know, to see to see some of these people leave and go, "Wow, you know, I still want to do this, but I realize also that it's not a bad thing to not, you know, want to go, all right, hey, I got to go."
